Our family has been to this location probably 5-7 times and have always had a good experience. Once my eggs-over-easy were WAY overcooked, but they fixed it quickly when I brought it to the server's attention. My kids love the real Mac-n-cheese (no crappy Kraft here) and we have always had good service and good food.

having grown up in TN and going to Cracker Barrels most of my teenage life, this Cracker Barrel was a total disappointment. you'd think i've learned my lesson after the first time i came here, but nope had to come here again to prove myself that this place really wasn't good (breakfast and dinner)... sigh... what happened to the biscuit and the sausage gravy breakfast combo? and what happened to the chicken fried chicken??? it tasted like rubber... is this the bastard child of the real southern Cracker Barrel that I grew up loving? not good.. =(

I usually love Cracker Barrel but the last two times I've been to this location my food was served warm not hot like it should be. Granted it was warmer this time then the prior occasion. I was also very disappointed in the gravy it was like water and my biscuits were a little overdone. I had no trouble with the service I received. I'll give this location one more try since it's the closest but three strikes and you're out!

I have read some of the other reviews with great amusement. Cracker Barrel features southern home cooking. Stop whining about the menu. They don't serve tofu or hummus in the south and there are no vegetarians. If you are one of these folks, you need to go to a different restaurant. Seriously, I love the menu. There is a great variety. I am partial to the chicken and rice special. Unfortunately there is a problem with this location. Rarely do I get a meal that is hot. Most of the time my food is luke warm. Cold eggs were sent back and returned cold. We gave up. Though I love Cracker Barrel, I usually pass this one by and eat in Lancaster or Plymouth Meeting when in the area.

Breakfast is lousy or average here. Hashbrown caserole is one of the most disgusting things I've tasted. Perhaps it was old and rehashed, as that's how it tasted, but I shouldn't have been served that in the first place. Fried apples are weirdly tasteless, grits and gravy most likely cooked out of a box as they don't taste anything remotely fresh. Over Easy eggs were OK but it's very hard to screw that up. Oats with apple and seeds was OK. We just came here as there no options around, I'd skip this place if possible. On the other hand, old country decoration is nice, service is as expected.

The hash brown casserole is amazing and I love it here but I just have to say that the food is like laxatives I don't know why but I instantly need to use the restroom directly after eating here

I have always enjoyed the breakfast here until today's visit. The food was downright inedible unless u may want food poisoning from undercooked food. My eggs were so runny in the middle I could've drained the egg off my plate- I asked from well done scrambled eggs. My bacon was still flaccid and hardly cooked. I did send the bacon back and they gave me new order. My friend ordered western omelet and he got a bacon and cheese omelette. Just nasty all around

Service was slow , the grits i had weren't that good no flavor i figured when i got cheesy grits the cheese would be melted in it was sprinkled on top instead. The hash Brown casserole was good if it were hotter The rainbow trout had good flavor through cooked great, i don't send food back maybe it was an offnight I'd still give em another chance

Honestly surprised this place has any decent reviews. Went here a few days ago with my boyfriend and just did not enjoy our experience. The menu is extensive, but in my opinion lacking any sort of appeal. It all sounds fatty and greasy and excessive. I ended up ordering something from the healthy section of the menu & I got the sliders. Even though I ordered from a low-cal menu, that doesn't mean to cut out on flavor entirely. I opted out of the mayo with my sliders (because eggs and mayonnaise sounds disgusting) and asked my server if they could put turkey bacon on top of my sliders. I work in a restaurant and I understand that modifications can be difficult on a busy day, however the place was empty. And in all honesty, how hard is it to put bacon on top of a sandwich? Either way, the bacon came on the side and my server told me I could put it on top myself. When I received the bill I saw that I had been charged for the side of bacon, which I never requested because I just wanted it with my sandwich, and it cost like $4 for 3-4 slices of bacon. Which I think is pretty ridiculous. My boyfriend got the parfait breakfast. The parfait portion wasn't bad, but the breakfast meat and eggs that came with it were terrible. Everything lacked flavor and he didn't even finish the eggs. Considering this place like only does breakfast, it's pretty horrible. The only redeeming quality (if you can call it a redeeming quality) is the peg game they leave on all the tables.

Great place for breakfast. The staff their are great and very helpful. The price isn't bad but it's is a chain restaurant. The food came out fast and filled me up quick. Good luck if you can resist the urge of not buying anything in the gift shop. I love the atmosphere and the southern cooking is great.

Pretty good. The management is great and staff is great. The food is inconsistent. Sometimes amazing and sometimes ok. such a fun place to go.

All I will say is, I love this place! They are always very nice, the food is great, you get a lot, and it's cheap. What else could you ask for? Sure, some servers are better then others, and sometimes they have their bad nights, but overall they do a great job. Try being a server sometime before telling the world the server sucked.... It's like anywhere else, if you are nice to them (and maybe tell them when they do something right) you are going to get preferential treatment. Bottom line: I have eaten there many, many times and always come away happy. They do a great job. I've been to other Cracker Barrels and this one rates right up there with the best of them.

We ate here yesterday for dinner (5:30pm). The hostess ( a teen with light brown hair, slim, with glasses) was a gem, sat us promptly, and the waitress was very good. always checked back at our table (which is very rare these days) Food came out slow but she came back at least 3 times to apologize, rare these days, and the food was typical non breakfast CB food, average. Now the so called "manager" . not sure what he does? he walked around a half empty restaurant, with dirty tables everywhere, never attempted to clean one table, yet he carried a towel with him. A french fry laying on the floor was passed by by everyone, iI was waiting for food to go flying after someone slid on it, the Hostess walked by picked it up and acted so natural about it, like I said a gem. the mens room was dirty with paper towels everywhere, Obviously no staff reported it & the manager never checked it trash was overflowing.. Parking lot was jammed, but place half empty, everyone was at restaurant next door, Manager has to go!!!! or just manage :)

I have always enjoyed their breakfast. There are other meals have always been good as well, but the mama's pancake breakfast in the mamas French toast breakfast will always be my favorite. Friendly staff, although the service is sometimes slow. That would not keep me from returning however. It's always been clean, people have been friendly, prices are reasonable, in the food has always been very tasty. It always seems to be busy as well, which is always a good sign for any restaurant.

This review is about the service. Had a great waitress that made all the difference on our short visit. Super attentive and took the time to have a conversation with my very shy son. Will definitely be back.

OK so I'm actually reviewing the cracker barrel... i guess i should start there. My boyfriend and i wanted a quick, easy breakfast. Had fond memories of this place so we went back. Coffe was fine... service was fine... My boyfriend got the country fried steak with hash browns, grits, biscuits w. preserves etc. He was fighting heart burn for the duration of the day... but it seemed that he enjoyed his meal. As a vegetarian... options are NOT a plenty here. I went for 2 eggs poached, and biscuits with a side of grits. Everything was fine... no real problems... the eggs looked kind of funny, but tasted ok. The biscuits were good. They said they came with fresh preserves... but unless these preserves were placed in packets and hermetically sealed yesterday, they were far from fresh.. but they were fine. All in all, a fine meal... but won't be racing back...

I can't say enough good things about this place. It's spot on every time. Perfect service, high quality food and preparation, cleanliness, etc. I finally tried a non breakfast item on the menu. The chicken and pork chops country dinner plates. Came with two sides, I chose mashed potatoes and cole slaw. The meat actually had flavor, especially the pork chops. The sides were prepared well and it tasted homemade. A great meal for about $10 total. Also every breakfast food item is awesome. I understand they are a chain but it doesn't show in the food. Always a safe option dining here.

Two words... Sunrise Sampler! Knocked a star off because the service is hit or miss and sometimes things are served a bit cold, but all in all, great country breakfasts.

Yea this is like the fourth cracker barrel I've rated (with many more to come, I reckon) but I just love how relatively high quality the food is for the price, the super friendly staff, no wait for a table, goofy stuff in the shop, and easy locations right off the highway. (great for roadtrips and vacations) I anticipate many more cracker barrel reviews to come.

I know, it's embarrassing, I'm in love with Cracker Barrel. How can I justify myself? The food is consistently amazing. Grits, biscuits and gravy, chicken n dumplings, cornbread. It might give you a heart attack, but it's a happy heart attack. The food is cheap. I've never paid more than $25 for two people, and never left less than so full I wanted to throw up. That says something. Where else can you get dessert for $2.50?! It makes me feel like I'm at Disneyland. Everytime we roll up there's a fleet of Cadillacs unloading senior citizens with canes, walkers, and wheelchairs. And everytime we go in, we are the youngest, thinnest, most ethnic, and smallest group there. But it makes me feel special! I always order the Old Timer's special, request to sit next to the fireplace, and buy things I really don't need at their shop afterwards, like Christmas figurines. I have officially turned into my mother. Shooooot me.

I recalled pleasant memories from a different location I frequented in my childhood so we decided to make the drive up for my birthday breakfast. I should've stayed home and eaten an actual barrel full of stale crackers. After a far too long wait, we were surprised to find most of our food undercooked. They were obviously overwhelmed, unapologetic and unattentive. If the waitress had returned, I would've complained to her. But once our food was dropped off by someone else, we never saw her until she tossed the check on our table as she rushed by. What a disappointment. We won't return.

Nothing extraordinary, but it tasted like a home cooked meal. I had the Chicken and Rice which is the special on Saturday. Chicken tenderloins, over a bed of wild brown rice and a mushroom cream sauce. I would eat here again.

The food was good as always. The fireplace was not lit so there was an awfully cold draft coming in from the chimney. This irritated me since i was a mere 15 feet away from it. i've never had this problem at a Cracker Barrel. Maybe I will have better ;luck next time.

We come for Nancy the server on Sunday mornings. She makes our experience special every time! Keep up the good work Nancy! YOU make all the difference. I do however wished you had omelets on the menu.

I like this place for the breakfast never tried lunch or dinner but they really know how to make a good breakfast. They have a little shop inside which is worthless just a bunch of junk that looks like its set up to go along with the decor.

Excellent food at a very reasonable price. You get a HUGE meal for so cheap. Very friendly staff and worth going if you want a home cooked meal.

Food was good. Service wasn't the best. She took forever...then as soon as she gave us our food she gave us the check. Then she gave us refills and vanished! We had to ask another waitress where she was. She was doing "side work" she never even asked if we wanted dessert. When she came back she seemed annoyed. Wasn't to thrilled
