King's is a great American diner. Come in to relax, have a milkshake, have breakfast at 5pm. Very simple.

I ate here so often as a teenager that I probably could've worked in the kitchen an not needed any help. That being said, I was a teenager and broke most of the time. I still eat here, but it's because their breakfast is okay and I take my kids. For dinner though, definitly go some place else if you have more than $15 to spend.

Keep in mind I am, I rate restaurants based on the clients they are going after, and not against all restaurants. In other words, I would not base my rating of a family restaurant against the food I ate at a 2 Michelin Star restaurant. I will rate it against the quality of other family restaurants. With that said, if I find a place that has a dish worthy of a Michelin star restaurant, I will definitely mention it. The place is very big, clean, and a wide menu selection including an all day breakfast selection. The layout is very clever. They have isles waiters can go through with tables on each side, allowing them to take your order and carry food without ever bumping into customers. Never seen that before. It's hard to explain, so I posted a photo. After being seated for a couple of minutes, we were greeted by our waitress, followed shortly thereafter by a manager, and a few minutes later, another manager. Very nice, and very polite. We ordered breakfast food (French Toast) and cheese hash brown for my wife, and based on waitress recommendations, meatloaf, which I asked to be made into a sandwich with grilled Sourdough bread (they offered a lot of other sandwiches in grilled sourdough), and Swiss cheese. The French toasts were huge and delicious. The hash brown was also amazing. Not just shredded cheese melted on top. It was blended into it in a great way. The meatloaf was disappointing. It was packed so tight and dry, if you cut a thin slice of it, you could pick it up and it would remain intact. They gladly replaced it with another sandwich. This time, I ordered chicken parmigiana with cheese sticks in the middle. That was very good and definitely made up for the first one. The manager came and apologized, and the staff were all very nice and very polite. Overall, a good experience. If I was staying in the area longer, I would go back.

It's definitely not 5 star dining, but it is consistent. Breakfast and lunch items are the best. Country fried steak and club sandwiches are my personal favorite.

I had the pleasure to visit this local diner chain while staying at a hotel nearby. The service was great, the place was super clean, the food was quite good, and the prices were crazy cheap. I got broiled cod with two sides for 9 bucks including tax. The best part was that they seemed to go out of their way to carry local goods. Mostly meat, but still, really nice to see them doing so. Worth a stop if you are driving through the area. Oh and the Super 8 next door was a great value if you need a place to stay.

The service is often nice, but the food is low quality. Sending food back is common at this location. It's a good place to get ice cream after you went some place else to eat dinner.

1st I am not one normally for "chains" but it is a local chain so with that said.... My all time favorite breakfast place. It is so good and at a very good price. It may not be the classiest place and seem a bit out dated but trust me, you can't go wrong with the triple crown - eggs, bacon, home fry's and of course Cellone's bread. Or the pancakes are also very good. The staff is awesome and they truly care about good customer service. also while your there get a milkshake or just about any dessert.
