Not the best Vietnamese place, but its the closest for me, so whenever I am craving pho I usually stop by for a quick meal. I have tried several dishes here and have to say its good. The pho here is good but sometimes the broth is watered down with water just so they can survive the day with one pot, so detracts from the full flavor that makes the pho good. The vermicelli (bun) is good and doesn't disappoint. If you live in the area and are too tired to go into the city I would recommend this place.

Hidden gem in Upper Darby next to Hmart. Had the pho special & spring rolls. Comparable to spots in S Philly. Cheaper than rip offs in other burb locales.

Dinner for 5 for just over $50! Cute little spot with nice staff. Had a great vegetarian Banh Mi and delicious Pho. Also the spring rolls and summer rolls were delicious!

I'm usually not a fan of Upper Darby restaurants. Let's face it; they can be in some pretty dicey areas, especially at night. I'll make an exception for this place. The vermicelli dishes are excellent. And of course the pho is to die for. Service is incredibly efficient and finally the place is cheap. You can have a great meal for $7. Stop by on a weekend and try this place for lunch. You won't regret it.

I've only been to this place for take-out. I would stop in and place my order and than pick-up after my shopping trip at the H-Mart. The food is good and I have never gotten the wrong order. So, I would recommend this place for a quick fix. Especially during the noon lunch hours. lol. The banh mi is good and the rest of the to go snacks. The drinks tasted good too. Can't complain! Would recommend everyone to try this place. Clean and friendly staff.

It's what a Vietnamese restaurant should be: fast an accurate service, quality food, and reasonable prices. You can't really get that anywhere but Philly and I enjoy the "quick hit" Viet cuisine to cure the appetite. Food selection is decent, but the pho is par at best. Service is quick and accommodating but don't expect it to be warm an heart felt. After all, you're there to order , eat, and get on moving. One gripe I have would be the ghetto mats duct taped to the floors.

I can't believe the good reviews here!!! I went here last night because we drove a ways and Little Saigon (Much better) was closed. Huge mistake! My boyfriend and I "ate" here last night. We had an order of the spring rolls... Flavorless. Unless oil is a flavor. Oily and disgusting. I took one bite and I was over it. We already ordered a bowl of pho each before we tasted the disgusting grease tube they called a spring roll... It was the worst pho either of us has ever had, and we are both world traveling foodies. I pulled out a giant pile of fatty grey beef? Then I tried to just eat the broth, terrible. Watery and oily a strange feat to accomplish but they managed. I took about 4 bites before I tapped out. My boyfriend, not so lucky. He ended biting into what he described as a rancid fishy octopus tentacle (yes, in his pho). At that point we just wanted to get out of there. We paid, which we shouldn't have, and got the hell out of there. Service was bad too. Had to ask for water and our server sat a table away from us watching TV. He never checked on us and completely ignored us. All around one of the worst dining experiences I've had in a VERY long time.

Huge menu, large portions and fresh ingredients. Fantastic Pho!

Awesome pho!! I liked the food more here than at Saigon around the corner. Parking kind of sucks, but that's kind of unavoidable in this part of Upper Darby. Would be easily accessible by Septa!

Pretty decent Vietnamese restaurant. They had a small area with all sorts of cakes, pastries & treats. Rice cake, sponge cake, etc. Located in the middle of the Korean section of Upper Darby Pa, Cafe Anh Hong was a nice dinner. Prices were fair, and the menu had a pretty large selection of items. Many of which I've never seen at a Viet Restaurant before. Peanut sauce is always delicious, we started off with both fried & clear spring rolls, then ordered pho & a steamed rice dish. Entrees ranged from 6.50 - 13.00 dollars. The waiter was very patient with us (our daughter was throwing utensils everywhere). Check it out if you're in the area. There is some metered parking in front of the restaurant.

Pho is awesome and meat is very tender. They give you a lot of noodles too. Their Vietnamese hoagies are AWESOME, and CHEAP! Prices are very fair. I go here all the time! Service is just ok.

Well priced, fast service, and lots of noodles! Not the best Pho but still delicious- I highly reccomend the jackfruit boba.

In my opinion, this is the best PHO in the Philly area. My favorite is #44 thin sliced beef. It is piping hot, savory, spicy, and will cure a cold! With all of the typical acoutraments, this PHO is anything but typical. The ingredients are fresh and delicious, and you may taylor your PHO to your liking with the generous portions of basil, limes, and sprouts. The vegetable spring rolls are another favorite. Crispy and fresh, they accompany the PHO quite well. The avocado shake is amazing and I've never found anything like it anywhere else! Creamy, light, and soothing, the avocado shake at Cafe Anh Hong will have you coming back for more. Give it a second after your first sip to get used to the thought of drinking an avocado, and then you'll be hooked! Go hungry because the portions are always generous! The friendly staff makes Cafe Anh Hong the perfect spot for a casual and relaxed lunch (or dinner!).

Anh Hong Pho is pretty decent. Its in a convenient location next to H-Mart. So its good to grab a quick meal after shopping for groceries. The parking can be kind of a pain though. And this place has like a $15 credit card minimum. Its annoying, so make sure you bring cash. The beef pho here is hit or miss. Some days it can be really good, other days very mediocre. The broth can sometimes be too oily. The noodles are sometimes too chewy. And sometimes they give too little amount of noodles. They give plenty of meat though, and the meats are usually very good. Get all the meats, but avoid getting the flank, its very fatty. Overall, the pho is still decent. Not a bad deal for less than 7 bucks. I've tried some of their vermicelli dishes before and they are excellent. Better than most places. The best thing they have here that I've tried IMO is the ban mi pork sandiwiches. They are so tasty, and good enough for a lunch portion. And its only $3.50! Overall, this place is good for its price. Not the best, but I'm happy most of the time I leave there.

After reading all the raves about Little Saigon around the corner, we tried it and were terribly disappointed, as we live in Bala Cynwyd, Chinatown is really closer than Upper Darby, but sometimes the lure of no Schuylkill traffic and guaranteed cheap (or free on Sunday) parking meters makes Delaware County look attractive. We were thinking of checking out the food court at the H-Mart (the PHENOMENAL international supermarket) on Terminal Square, when we noticed this Pho joint right next door. We are not huge fans of Pho, but their menu had all the traditional Vietnamese dishes you'd find locally so we gave it a shot. As we were saving our appetites for a large Father's day grill fest, we kept the orders light. A double order of crisp spring rolls ($3.25 / serving) provided three halved portions (just right for me, wife and son.) served piping hot, the texture was divine, and the pork / mushroom filling was in just the right proportion. We missed the daikon typically served with these, but dipped the julienne carrots in the tasty sauce which we livened up with the Siracha. Wife and son had bun (rice vermicelli) with charcoal-grilled pork and shrimp respectively. (6-8 bucks.) Huge portions and no skimping on fresh ingredients. I am a sucker for Banh Mi, Vietnamese hoagies, and their version came steaming hot. Fresh light french bread stuffed with charcoal-grilled pork, julienne carrot, cilantro, jalapenos with the lightest touch of mayo. Most of these are around $3.50 Grilled Chicken Banh Mi top out around $6, but there are a number of delicious $3.50 options. if I were planning a party, a basket of these bad boys would be an economical way to fill a lot of bellies. It's not often we walk out of a lunch spot dropping 25 bucks. We were pretty happy pups. The place was full of natives (all eating pho.) Popular versions were served with thin slices of raw beef to be cooked in the hot broth. Next time I find myself hungover I'll try the damned pho. Service is polite and fast, and they understand English perfectly.

Terminal Square is becoming a great dining destination. This place has one of the most extensive Vietnamese menus I have ever seen. Started meal of with an old standard (shrimp and vermicelli spring rolls) and they were as good as I have had anywhere. Moved on to the grilled squid, which was fantastic - instead of usual rubbery squid it was smooth and melted in my mouth. The treat was the goat curry soup - vermicelli thin egg noodles, curry broth and lots of goat served with a mountain of fresh sprouts, a couple lime wedges, and sliced jalapeno. Decent service and food arrived quickly. Reasonably priced (would take effort and an appetite to spend $20). I will definitely return.

Best Pho in Philadelphia! Especially the spring roll!

I've been here twice now. It's a bit out of the way if you don't have a reason to be in the 69th Street Station area. Anh Hong does a great job on the staples of Pho and fresh spring rolls with plenty of condiments to go with the former and quite tasty peanut sauce to go with the latter. Service was quick coming in and bringing the food, but a tad slow on getting the check to me. Credit card minimum is $15.

So I come here every time I visit the dentist in order to make myself feel better because who likes getting cavities filled? This, in combination with the H Mart, is an acceptable consolation. I always get my dishes to go and they have everything ready for me when I return from my grocery shopping excursion next door (almost). I always get the Bun Thit Nuong (dish of charbroiled pork chop laid on a bed of vermicelli noodles. It is then topped with bean sprouts, mint, shredded lettuce, cucumbers, and crushed peanuts.) and bun bo hue (spicy beef pho). The pork chop is very tender, flavorful and nicely marinated, and the bun bo hue is spicy and not overly greasy (like some other places). The prices are slightly higher than those in South Philly, but still reasonable (6.50-13.00 for an entree), and the owners are very amiable and always joke with me about my atrocious attempt at pronouncing Vietnamese. It's family owned and operated so they do their best to make sure that you leave satisfied. Overall, a nice place to stop by for a quick bite if you're in the Upper Darby area or stopping at the 69th St. Terminal (about 2 blocks away).

Quality of spring rolls (salty greasy chewy wrapper) and beef and chicken bun (low quality meat, dry noodles) can't compare to how good Little Saigon around the corner is

I. Love. This. Place. Seriously excellent Pho (I get 38, the Char Broiled Chicken over noodles). I'm here about 2-3 times a month. Quality is just as good as Vietnam Cafe (which I also LOVE) but it's cheaper. My girlfriends gets this goat curry thing which has HUGE chunks of goat and bone, but she loves it (number 41 I think it is). Bubble tea here is awesome. Staff is always super friendly. Parking is bitch but it's convenient (right next to H Mart). You have to bring your bill up to the register to pay- they don't come back and take your money (as I learned).

I didn't dine in. I only stopped in for a Vietnamese hoagie and a Thai iced bubble tea. Really good! I'm usually really picky about these 2 things, so that says a lot. I'm not sure if the man who made my order was the owner, but he was very friendly and fast. Prices are cheap. The place looked clean. I will definitely be coming here again! It is next to a Korean supermarket and other various Korean stores. There is some metered parking out front which I'm not too crazy about, but I lucked out with finding a spot as soon as I pulled up.

The food here is not bad I would have give them 4 stars if it wasn't for a recent incident I encounter with them:( I ordered a cup of jelly milk tea with no ice and less jelly. But when I get the milk tea, she gave me a whole half cup worth of ice! Then I asked her to change it because I didn't want ice, so she start to scoop out ice from my cup. For some reason, while scooping out the ice from my cup, she was pouring some milk tea down the drain. WOW I WAS STUNNED:( Then she handed me a half-cup of jelly milk tea and told me that they measure everything(like the amount of liqiud they put in there). You mean all this time I've been paying $3.50 for a half cup of milk tea? I also am working in the restaurant business and never gave my customers half-cup of anything! IF A CUSTOMER ASK FOR NO ICE OF SOMETHING, I WOULD STILL GIVE THEM A FULL CUP AND MAYBE CHARGE A LITTLE MORE THAN USUAL IF THERE'S MEASUREMENT INVOLVED!

Ok after our 50th check in I guess it's clear Becca and I love this place. The food here is consistently good, the service is fast, and the prices are great. That is why we keep coming back. A few servers have come and gone since we started coming here but all have be very good and also very friendly. Parking can be a problem at this shopping center but it's worth fighting for a spot to go here. The only slightly negative thing I can say is twice we went here a little close to closing time and they were using a cleaner of some sort that had a very strong scent that made its way into the dining area, and wasn't pleasant. Not a big deal and has only happened twice. Excellent pho, spring rolls, and hoagies here, now going for 100 check ins

Still the best Pho in the area. This place A staple in the upper darby area. Nestled in the terminal square strip, the large bowls and fresh veggies add to the authenticity of this place. The waiters are great, service is really fast. Try the BBQ pork bah mi(hoagie). Overall a staple and I will keep coming back.

Ok - I only came in to get some banh mi on the way home as we had yet to unpack our kitchen after a recent move - but I have to say - Vietnamese bacon banh mi was awesome! My tummy is begging for some as I type this. I expect my star rating will increase after my partner and I visit for a sit down meal.

There is a Vietnamese place around the corner that we never go to because the first (and last!!!!) time we ate there baby roaches were crawling on the walls right next to our table. That restaurant rhymes with "Widdle Daikon." Come here instead!!!

My go to Pho place! Other food is also good here but with the quickness of a hot bowl of Pho to warm you up nothing compares.

Exceptional vietnamese cuisine...I take all of my friends here. Their bun and com dia (rice plates) are fantastic--I highly recommend their charbroiled pork--so much flavor. I also recommend their stir fry dishes on top of fried egg noodles--somewhat like a Vietnamese chow mein. Spring rolls are excellent. Haven't tried their pho or bahn mi yet, but I am so hooked on my regular selections!

Great beef pho, banh mi and vermicelli. Pho came with bean sprouts, Thai basil, peppers and a generous lime slice (key for me).The summer rolls were on the rubbery side but everything else we had was delicious. Perfect stop before a concert at the Tower or for take out if you're in the neighborhood. Close to the H mart for shopping too.

I stopped in here after finding out Sa Bai Dee (Thai food) is closed on Mondays, and I wasn't very impressed. I had the spring rolls with shredded pork, and there was very little pork in them. Even with the sauce provided, they were pretty tasteless. I also had the regular beef noodle soup, and it was just ok. Not a lot of flavor to it either. It was disappointing too because the place had a lot of people seated, and a mix of Asians and Caucasian, and I got the feel that it was a local's type of place. Like, that's where the locals would send you for good pho. YMMV, but when I told the people I was seeing where I went, they said I should have kept walking a little further and went to Little Saigon. Oh well, next time!

Warning! Do not drink the tea to finish the pot, this tea is kicking up the caffeine; i did not come down until the following day. The presentation alone is reason to make a return visit. The Menu is an extensive visit to Vietnamese Cuisines. Hot or Cold, Appetizer to Entree or Soup & Sandwich; eating in or home, Pho & Cafe will not disappoint! The bathroom is one of the cleanest i have ever used.

Awesome place! The Vietnamese hoagies are delish and the bread is warm and the veggies are crispy. There's a language barrier ( first time I ordered summer rolls and they brought out fried ) but the food is really good . They refill your drinks promptly and it's clean inside. The staff looks clean as always greets you. This place is a ways away from my boyfriends house but worth the drive !

Another win for the 69th street restaurants in the immediate vicinity of H-mart. Not only is there great Thai, Mexican, Chinese, and Korean food all within a quarter of a square mile, now you can also get good Vietnamese food. The food here is tasty and inexpensive, and portions are large. The grilled pork vermicelli ($7) was generous with the noodles and well-balanced with thinly-sliced charbroiled meat and raw vegetables. The larger-than-average Vietnamese hoagies are around $4 ($3.50 for the cheapest ones). The summer rolls were huge, but a little heavy on the vermicelli. Good food aside, the people here are much nicer than at your typical Vietnamese restaurant. The food comes out before you have time to close the menu. This is probably one of the better Vietnamese places in the Philly area.

Nice people free salad as a starter! Their pho and fried rice was good! P.S Normally, I get very thirsty after having Pho, but my mouth wasn't dry at this place!! That means, they use very little MSG or NO MSG!!

Good as it gets in terms of hoagies. NEVER eaten here, but their Viet hoagies surpass all others, including all of metro Philly!!! Get the grilled pork...it'll knock your socks off. SO delicious...heading out right now for another one. AND the price is right. Waiting for my hoagie, the pho looks outstanding! Can't wait to give IT a try.

Ok so I had been holding off on this review for quite some times, because #1 I like to give a business several trips prior to making a review like I usually do. #2, because a part of me is hesitant in exposing what I love to the world. Because of the horde of hipsters and foodies which could descend and destroy what I love. But no longer... When you come to this place veterans of Vietnamese cuisine are reminded of why they fell in love with Vietnamese cuisine a long time ago. Bold flavors that takes your taste bud for a ride through bitter, sweet, salty, spicy, sour, and the 6th flavor that Chinese call Xian... Anh Hong hits the right note like a perfectly orchestrated symphony for your tongue, and leaves you wanting more despite your stomach praying for mercy so it doesn't explode. For those who want to enter in the foray of Vietnamese cuisine, there is no finer place than here. Pho which is always the entry level dish for anyone attempting the feat, is not intimidating at all. The broth is clear, clean, and vibrant. The Noodles simplified and firm. The condiments are fresh and tastes sharp. It is something which anyone could fall in love with, and if thats not enough just look up at the paintings of the beautiful scenery, women, and imagery of Vietnam and be transported. Their Banh Mi here is out of sight, and yes they do the deluxe version which is the addition of a sexy over easy egg. The way the yolk oozes on to the ham, cilantro, jalapenos, and find its final resting place between the pate and crispy bread? I would kill hordes of hipsters for this, well ok I don't really need a reason. So find you way to Anh Hong, and if you run in to me say hi from a safe distance. Because if you're within my feeding frenzy radius, body parts tend to go missing in a blur of spoon and chopsticks.

Don't know how they stay in business when they overcharge so much. Guess that's what desperation means. Food is not good just eat able . The portions are so measly. It's like going to a welfare pho place. They charge close to 7/8 for pho but the meat they give u is 4 pieces. Wth?!!!!! Tried the other things. Don't bother it's not worth it. Rather go to sai ba dee and spend the same but come out happy. The eggrolls can break your teeth if You come on the wrong day. The cook is not th same all the time.

I eat a lot of pho at a lot of different places. This is easily my favorite pho place in the philly area. The broth and freshness of ingredients sets it apart. The broth is fresh, clear and light...not dark and oily like most places. Generous portions and they do not short it on the meat. I could eat this everyday.

You know the food is great when your Facebook friends are ALWAYS checking in this place. The shrimp rolls are delicious, spring rolls are awesome, hoagies are slammin, and the pho is bangin! So happy they opened up in my hometown. Looks like I'm gonna be eating pho here pho life! Service is excellent, atmosphere is relaxing, and the workers are so nice. A lot of my African American and Caucasian friends who've never tried Vietnamese food before love this place after I take them here. They were always skeptical because it's not food they're used to. I took my buddy there after we played golf and next thing you know, he's in there every other day with his wife. The hours on the door are the actual hours that they are open unlike other pho places in the area that open when they feel like it.

I have been on a quest for all things authentic and delicious in Philadelphia. While watching my favorite youtube channel, munchies, this place popped up. I am very glad it did. I am by no means a pho expert, I have it every few months or so. Given that, the pho I received here was fantastic, the broth was flavorful, the noodles and thin sliced beef were very good. They had all the essential condiments(chili oil, chili garlic sauce, hoisin, sriracha) as well as the fresh additions - basil, bean sprouts, lime. We also ordered the vermicelli with grilled pork. This I found to be absolutely outstanding. I have had this dish elsewhere, but the mix of ingredients they serve, specifically their preparation of the grilled pork made the meal. This is the dish that will bring me back. That pork tho...thin sliced, heavily salted and grilled semi-crisp. Add in sweet hoisin, the vinegar sweet chili sauce, spicy chili oil, sriracha, and lime - absolute killer dish - Sweet, salty, sour, savory. You will be mixing and meticulously nabbing all the bits that will result in the perfect bite. I love this dish...go buy it. The restaurant itself is your standard suburban asian restaurant with minor updates here and there. If you are not familiar with the area, it is very near 69th street terminal, and it is not the greatest of areas. I would recommend making this a day time option.
(5)
Chanthorn H.
Parking - Horrible! You have to pay meter. This isn't the city. I should not have to pay for parking in the suburbs. Service - They were ok. Not much to say about asian service as they are mostly not present really. They gave me water, so I was happy about that. Hu Tieu Nam Vang - Way too much liver. I know every place puts different things in, but I was hoping I didn't have to give half my meats to my wife. And she said the liver was too hard and didn't taste right to her. Broth itself was fairly decent though. Price was also reasonable. Strawberry Smoothie with pearls - Skip this. The pearls tasted old and was just not good. The strawberry smoothie itself was also way sweet. Also, they charged close to $5! I don't even pay that much in ChinaTown. Overall - Although price for food itself is fairly reasonable, I would rather save my money and go into Philly. Then, I could get a fresh smoothie for cheaper.

Stopped by this place after going to Hmart since they are only a few doors down. We got two orders of the BBQ pork sandwich/banh mi/hoagie Togo. The guy who took our order made the sandwiches in front of us which felt like an eternity since toasting the bread took forever. Ok maybe like 10 minutes but that's a long time considering the bread wasn't even toasted when we ate it! Still soft as it could be.. The meat was tasty but there weren't any butter or margarine on the bread like I'm used to from other Vietnamese restaurants. BUT what bothered me the most was the guy made the sandwich without washing his hands!!! Major eww.. He didn't even use gloves.. Oh wait he did wash his fingers after putting the sandwich in the toaster oven but only with water for a second. He then played with his cellphone but didn't wash again before taking the sandwiches out of the toaster oven. He touched the sandwiches again when wrapping it.. He only touched the bread but still.. Yes, we still ate it because we were hungry. Good thing we didn't get sick though!!

I enjoy coming here for some decent pho. The crispy spring rolls are really delicious as well. The pho does have varying degrees of broth quality. I came in here once and it was one of the best broths I've ever had and then another time I came and it was pretty bland, I guess it depends on the daily effort they want to put into the broth that day.

Great price and great food! I got the banh mi and the vermicelli, I've had better banh mi and it could use a more substance but it was okay. The vermicelli was fresh and delicious and it was a nice stop after grocery shopping at H-Mart. Will be coming back next time I shop there!

Best pho in this area of Philly. I would definitely recommend to fill any pho cravings you have while in the vicinity (not quite so amazing that I'd travel here from afar just for the pho). They also have good bubble tea! :)

Good tasty pho, good value for money. Decent, attentive, timely, cordial service. Nice staff. Casual atmosphere. Clean, homey environment. Street parking usually a challenge. Great place to go when shopping at H-Mart a few doors away.

I have worked in Upper Darby for almost seven years and have tried to get to this place on more than one occasion but the parking is terrible. Today I found a spot! Twenty five cents for the meter and enough time to sit down and enjoy. I ordered the number 43 Pho. The broth was excellent and not as salty as many other Pho places. Also had the number four summer roll. As always they are excellent. The service is kind and courteous and not in a hurry to get you to eat and run. My food was out before I could even put the menu away. It was hot and delicious. There is a $15 minuimum for card purchases so I had to order a Jack Fruit smoothie to up the bill. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing. Overall a great experience!

So it turns out that a lot of pho places in the Delco area are closed on Mondays, but luckily this one was open and ready for business. My sister and I had just gotten back from a cold hike and decided that today was the perfect day for a giant bowl of yummy noodles. We headed to Anh Hong around lunch time and the place was pretty busy (I guess a lot of people had off for MLK Day). We were seated quickly and got some tea. A few minutes later, the waiter came over to take our order. We decided on the shrimp and pork spring rolls for an appetizer; for entrees my sister got the special rice noodle soup (beef, flank tendon, brisket & beef tripe) and I got the beef and brisket soup. I believe these were numbers 42 and 47 on the menu. My sister also ordered the bubble tea. Within minutes the spring rolls and bubble tea were on the table. The bubble tea was probably the best I've ever had, but that's not saying much since all I've had was the crap sold in the mall. The spring rolls were incredibly fresh and delicious. The dipping sauce was a perfect pairing with the spring rolls. They were devoured within seconds. A few minutes later, the soup came out. As expected, the bowls were huge! (It's amazing how much food you get in this entree for around $7.) The both was super flavorful and jam-packed with beef and noodles. The accompanying plate of basil, sprouts, and jalapenos was also nice - again, the ingredients were ridiculously fresh. This was the perfect meal for a cold day! The meal was delicious and the service was super fast. I'll definitely be back in the future! Notes: This place is BYOB. They also accept credit cards, but there's a $15 minimum, so if you're planning on splitting the bill with a friend be mindful of the minimum purchase requirement.

I come here on a semi-regular basis for the pho and rice dishes. Everything is always served piping-hot, and the meat, whether char grilled or cooked in broth, is fresh and flavorful. For a simple, piping hot bowl of pho at lunch time, this is the place to go. I also like the char-broiled pork chops; they're marinated in a special sauce and served hot, with a few refreshing slices of cucumber on the side. They also have some nice Vietnamese hoagies that can be made to go--I like the meatball. The place is nothing fancy, and I might not bring a date here, but the service is prompt and the food is good.

My go to for pho in the burbs. Once a week, maybe twice I go. #48. Extra tendon please. Really good stuff. Charbroiled pork summer rolls good and lots of other decent options too, but I keep getting my good ol trusty #48. Good depth to broth but not overpowering, meat is fresh and tasty. Noodles always have the right bite. Consistently delish. As good as or better than any on Washington ave.

Yes, this week I have been craving Vietnamese hoagies. But,I was intending to visit another neighboring restaurant this morning for breakfast, but, they were not open as advertised. So, I was hanging out at the neighboring coffeehouse and the other intended restaurant still was not open. So, I was walking around the corner and saw the doors open. I saw the sign of business hours Open 7days a week 9 am to 9pm. i looked at the menu and saw Vietnamese hoagies so I had to have brunch here and am I glad I did. I tried the Veggie hoagie which was Seitan and vegetables "Banh mi chay" which had a nice flavor and ordered a Chicken Vietnamese Hoagie to go "Banh Mi Ga Nuong". Yum. I also had tried a fruit smoothie/bubble tea. It was refreshing. They also have a full menu of Pho , Mi Hu Tieu (soups), Banh Uot (Rice Flake) Bun (Vermicelli) and Com Dia(RicePlates). I shall come back for lunch and dinner. Prices are very reasonable. The staff is very nice. I shall return.

This lone Vietnamese place fills a culinary gap in Upper Darby. They make tasty pho, comforting and inexpensive, with decent-sized meat chunks (if you're of a mind). The broth isn't the best I've had but you can't beat the convenience and speed of their kitchen. Best of all, you can order their pho to go, noodles and fixings all neatly packed for your pleasure.

Great pho! I get the vegetarian pho, it's my favorite. Great smoothies also, jackfruit is delicious! Right next to h-mart. Parking out front walking distance to 69th street terminal. Friendly staff, low key atmosphere. Can't go wrong.

If you're looking for good authentic Vietnamese food and don't feel like driving down to the city then this is the place. Tried almost everything on the menu and loved them all. Our favorite has to be the bun thit nuong (grilled pork with vermicelli) and the thai tea with bubbles. Nothing I can really complain about except for the parking. It's pretty hard to get parking, however there is a parking lot down the block. Also, eems like the parking authority is always there in time to give you a ticket for expired meters so be careful and watch your time!

Pretty much everything thing I've eaten is legite. The Viet hoagies are spot on, the pho is delicious, the drinks are good and the service is great. There's really nothing I can complain about and I eat here quite often

Awesome Pho! Great broth - which we all know is the key to great Pho. Generous portions for $7, with many many different kinds to choose from. They also serve you complimentary hot tea. Friendly and fast service. I look forward to coming back.

This is the closest pho place to me, and thank goodness for that! Pho is a great meal for any weather, any mood, and best when hungover! Love this Vietnamese noodle soup! I've been to Little Saigon around the corner before, but was not impressed. Anh Hong is a hidden gem, comparable to the S. Philly pho places, but much closer to me! Service is fast, but can be iffy. Sometimes I get hot tea, sometimes I don't. My go-to pho is #48, and their vermicelli dishes and spring rolls are also very good. Parking is not great, but there's street parking and a lot across the restaurant.
This place was pretty fast with coming out with the orders. There were 4 of us, 2 got the bun thit nuong cha gio, 1 bo kho and 1 bun rieu and it was placed on our table in/around 10 minutes. Before we got our check, we also ordered their banh mi to go, which turned out to be pretty OK but they did take their sweet time making them (10+ mins)...which I didn't particularly understand but whatever. Prices are slightly bit steeper than what you'd find in the city but it's not bad. I'm not sure how I feel about the service, it's probably one of those hit or miss things. This would be a good place to go after you're done shopping at H-Mart and happen to not be in the mood for some good ol' korean dishes.

It's quite interesting to see a Vietnamese restaurant in a somewhat Korean area so I thought perhaps I should give it a try. Big mistake. Went in there and had a bowl of Pho. It was so watered down that it tasted like water with salt. No flavor of star anise; the key ingredient to making a good bowl of pho, no flavor of anything for that matter. An order of spring rolls is pack with oil and so greasy I didn't even want to touch it. This is definitely not the authentic Vietnamese food that I am used to eat in Philly. First and last time here. They do give a free salad which was not bad. But I paid over 20 bucks for a salad with no meat; I could have gotten that at Olive Garden where the salad tasted a lot better.

Good and authentic viet food. I love the pho! I also ordered the pad thai which is amazing coming from a viet restaurant. The service was quick and friendly. I would return any day!!!!

I have been going her for awhile now and I love the PHO! It was here that I tried my first bowl and I am glad. It's very authentic and delicious. It.s the closest place to me, with that being said it is probably my second or third favorite in the whole Phil area. Ii love that they have a shrimp Pho with no other meats. I say this because if you go to Washington Ave. and get Pho, you have to specifically ask for Shrimp Pho. The shrimp versions they have on the menu have other seafood and or meats. It is jumbo shrimp, which I prefer and it's fresh and delicious. Their beef pho is also declicous and authentic. They give you the most sides than any other place I've been, a plate with a TON of sprouts, basil, mint , peppers and lime. It's very affordable, which is an added bonus. The service is pretty consistent. I also love the Vietnamese hoagies, a great size and the rice paper summer rolls! I will continue going, its a great affordable and huge meal. very satisfying!

first of all, the price here is pretty low. and their pho is pretty awsome. but the downside of them is the service isnt so good. I guess they need to pay more attention to the customers and be a little bit nicer. and I dont know if their summer rolls are already made, sometimes the rice paper is super dried so its hard to chew.

Some experts have told us that as far as Vietnamese food goes, this place is considered fast food. Well, it sure beats any American fast food. I pretty much always have a decent meal here and the service is friendly and attentive and it's very casual and cheap. Not too bad.

(3)Frank P.
Hidden gem in Upper Darby next to Hmart. Had the pho special & spring rolls. Comparable to spots in S Philly. Cheaper than rip offs in other burb locales.
(3)Sally S.
Dinner for 5 for just over $50! Cute little spot with nice staff. Had a great vegetarian Banh Mi and delicious Pho. Also the spring rolls and summer rolls were delicious!
(4)Steven B.
(4)Mimi L.
(4)Ethan T.
(4)Nicole A.
(1)Michael G.
Huge menu, large portions and fresh ingredients. Fantastic Pho!
(5)Steph L.
Awesome pho!! I liked the food more here than at Saigon around the corner. Parking kind of sucks, but that's kind of unavoidable in this part of Upper Darby. Would be easily accessible by Septa!
(5)Dan R.
(3)lin h.
Pho is awesome and meat is very tender. They give you a lot of noodles too. Their Vietnamese hoagies are AWESOME, and CHEAP! Prices are very fair. I go here all the time! Service is just ok.
(4)Ginger S.
Well priced, fast service, and lots of noodles! Not the best Pho but still delicious- I highly reccomend the jackfruit boba.
(4)Sheila F.
(5)Michael C.

(4)Charles T.
(4)Joseph K.
Best Pho in Philadelphia! Especially the spring roll!
(5)Philip L.
(4)Jea L.
i love this place. pho's are packed with noodles and meat. pork/chicken banh mi's never fail.
(4)Danan R.
(4)Brenda D.
Quality of spring rolls (salty greasy chewy wrapper) and beef and chicken bun (low quality meat, dry noodles) can't compare to how good Little Saigon around the corner is
(2)Genevieve C.
I. Love. This.
(5)Edna C.
(4)Florentina L.
(2)Buoi B.
Best Viet place around Upper Dabby Area. Good food, good service, good atmosphere.... :) Give it a try, you never regret it.
(5)Becca -N- Drew F.
(5)Renton R.
(4)Douglas K.
(4)j h.
There is a Vietnamese place around the corner that we never go to because the first (and last!!!!) time we ate there baby roaches were crawling on the walls right next to our table. That restaurant rhymes with "Widdle Daikon." Come here instead!!!
(5)Clare H.
It's fresh, flavorful authentic Viet--currently one of my favorites in a region with plenty of great Vietnamese food.
(5)Chris M.
My go to Pho place! Other food is also good here but with the quickness of a hot bowl of Pho to warm you up nothing compares.
(5)Isaiah T.
(5)Mike N.
It's ok I guess, but I'm not Thai or Laotian either.
(3)Isidora A.
Hands down the best pho around. My family and I eat here regularly. Also their Thai tea is ON POINT.
(5)Kate F.
(4)Eric W.
(2)Anthony R.
(5)Kay P.
(5)Ana K.
This restaurant it's no my favorite but the food it's really good the coffee drink it's so dark and strong I recommend try the drink it's green with coconuts bubbles and ice in the top it's so delicious and refreshing
(4)Melissa W.
(4)S L.
Nice people free salad as a starter! Their pho and fried rice was good! P.S Normally, I get very thirsty after having Pho, but my mouth wasn't dry at this place!! That means, they use very little MSG or NO MSG!!
(4)Michelle K.
love this place. this is our go to spot when we are in ud. anytime we go anywhere else we are always disappointed. i love the beef cubes and the lime sauce they give you!! yum!
(4)Richard S.
(5)John L.
(4)Bernardo S.
I Give this a five star because ever since from day one never a disappointment eating here or to go order. We always left full and satisfied. Friendly staff is always a+. Highly recommended.
(5)Marissa R.
(1)Greg Y.
(4)Quan T.
(5)Ed W.
Great Pho and spring rolls,

Not quite Pho places in S.Philly but for sure better than suburbs. Chicken pad Thai exfellent

Excellent bun and pho! Really tasty and fresh! We got the first banh mi on the menu...also delicious. Portions were generous, service was friendly and fast. Highly recommend!

This place is not bad for being far from the Vietnamese side of town, def one of my go-to's for a quick fix. The regular banh mi here is okay. The bread isn't as great as others I've tasted and it could have more meat (and the pickled daikon or whatever that is), but the flavors are okay. They're good about the paté, which I appreciate, although towards the end of my hoagie I was eating pretty much paté on bread. The banh mi with the BBQ pork is good, too. I've also tried the broken rice dishes - kind of hard to get this wrong, really, unless you overcook your protein. The dish comes with all the standard sides - the weird fish/egg omelet and noodles, veggies, fish sauce (they give you a good amount), and so on. I was a little saddened that their Vietnamese coffee was more ice than anything else, but overall, it's a decent spot to try if you're looking for something in this area.

(4)Kimmy N.
first of all, the price here is pretty low. and their pho is pretty awsome. but the downside of them is the service isnt so good.
