First time here. Great food, burgers are well cooked. All burgers come on a pretzel bun but they have GF option as well. Service was a little slow even though the place was not that busy. We would come back next time we are here for a Knoebels weekend. Would want to see them do better with paying attention to customers though. That would earn 5 stars in my book.

Amazing soft pretzels, the group order comes with 3 large pretzels and 3 sauces. Probably the best honey mustard dipping sauce of my life. Recommend the curry cauliflower soup as well. All around good food, friendly staff, and great beers.

This place can be frustrating. The portions are large, the waitstaff is nice, but the service is slow and the food is mediocre to good, at best. The chips served with everything are nothing special. It can take a long while to get something as simple as a sandwich, which can be very frustrating, especially if you're there with children. It's fine if you want to stay in Danville and don't want to to travel to eat.

For anyone that is in Danville and wants to go out and enjoy some different beers Old Forge is the place to go. I enjoy going here when I just want to enjoy some beers with friends and don't plan on getting to crazy. They have this awesome deal where you can get four little five ounce beers for $5 if you want to try different beers. Each night they have 16 beers available so it's not always easy to make a choice. My favorite is Saison because of the summer vibe this beer has. Celestial blonde is also a great beer I recommend. My only negative about this place is the music, sometimes the music is so loud you literally can't talk to the waiter or waitress , so when my friends and I go here and the music starts playing we leave because there is simply no point in staying and trying to talk. Trying beers is a hobby of mine and I truly love trying different and exotic beers which is why I do really enjoy coming here.

Two floors of modern, clean, woody space. Full lunch and dinner menu - large with good variety. Pretzels were great, sandwiches looked decent. Perhaps a little underwhelming for food and not so cheap. Can do a flight of the beers they have on tap. I think it was $8 for 7 beer flight, which is very good. However, most of the beers had some off-flavors such as oversteeped grain tannic and had thin, over-attenuated bodies. One or two were enjoyable. Service was quite slow and not used to a large group, which is understandable.

Beer. These people know what they're doing. Had dinner and BEERS here recently. I can't remember which beers I had, but what I did sample was delicious. You can tell the brewers are serious about their craft. Excellent service, too, you can tell a place is good if their employees look genuinely happy.

Although I don't drink beer, there is multiple choices to chose from. The food is great, the pretzels, oh the pretzels, the best I have ever had, if you go, you must not leave without having at least one pretzel. Everyone has a big brights smile, it is family friendly. It is just a fun time in general! Would recommend if you are in the area.

Service at bar is fine but beer is still just "ok". Having 4 different types , ( no Ipa on tap) Bitter has a nice beginning but odd watery bland finish as does the pale ale & Slightly Rood. Cherrywood smoked porter is VERY smokey. Not eating food but I hear other people here at the bar recommending another brewery to eat at.

    1. Kat behind the bar is great 2. Blue Jerk burger is excellent, burn a quarter to add crumbled blue cheese to kick up the "dressing" 3. 2 different craft brown ales, seriously? Both exceptional 4. Thought there was a mistake on the bill, nope! It's just that great a value!

it took 40 minutes to get a wrap and two kids grilled cheese sandwiches and there were only three tables! We almost left, probably should have because the kids were disgusted by the sandwich But the fruit was fresh.

My only issue with this place is inconsistent service. Sometimes, it is phenomenal, others, it is just okay. Their house salad is outrageously expensive at 6.50 for a half filled plate with only field greens, a few pieces of tomato, and about half a pound of red onion. Sometimes you get carrot, cuke, spinach, and croutons, but that's rare - again, inconsistent service. Also, their menu changes frequently and sometimes their website does not follow suit. However, that doesn't keep me from going. The food is good and the beer is great. A really great place to eat in the area.

I absolutely love OFBC and try to come down when I can on my lunch breaks. They have a great atmosphere in a nice location with the added benefit of being able to see all the equipment they use for brewing. The staff is friendly, attentive, and very knowledgable of both the beer and the food. Their home made sodas are adventurous seeing that no other restaurant around does that, but they're really not for me. Half of the time I come to OFBC for the beer because the rotating menu and attention to detail that is paid to every single drop really comes out with the first taste. If you've never been their before, ask your server for the beer sampler so you can try them all out. As I'm a fan of IPAs, I always find myself drawn to the Overbite IPA and the Underbite IPA but I have yet to find a beer that wasn't delicious. When it comes to their food, it is equally as interesting and delectable as the beer. The burgers are great, full of flavor, and minimally greasy. If you get an appetizer, I recommend the chicken quesadilla. The little bit of apple that they add to it really sets the it apart from many other places. Nine times out of ten I find myself ordering the colossal club wrap. A little bit of ham, a little bit of turkey, a little bit of roast beef, add some sharp cheddar cheese and some fancy sort of mayo and I'm hooked. It's BIG too, hence the name. If you get a chance and you're a fan of chili, don't let theirs slip by you. With a dash of Frito's on top, it adds a nice little twist. If you're looking for a relaxed atmosphere with an equally great and uncompromising beer and food selection, OFBC is the place to go.

Nice place with great atmosphere. Prices reasonable. Good food. Desserts made in house, not shipped in. That's pretty cool. We'll visit again!

Love the place! But be warned I am a hop head. Lucky me so are the brew masters at Old Forge! The new location allows for many more tap selections which is always a good thing. (Not saying I love every one of them...but almost) However, if you want any of the majors...you are SOL. They only serve what they make...a true brew pub. Menu is very good. Not saying you'll like everything but the menu is large and good enough there's enough for every palette. The staff is the true gem. Friendly, fun, and good. If it is not right they will make it right. Also, owner is on site a lot and more than willing to talk beer. Definitely worth the trip.

We stopped in while visiting friends in the area for lunch. The restaurant was not very busy on a Sunday afternoon so we got seated immediately and was tended to by a very attentive waiter. The pretzel appetizer with beer cheese dip was delicious. Our waiter selected our beer flight and all were great. I dined on the Cuban sandwich which was tasty and nicely done. Lots of choices to choose from.

A great staple in Danville! I enjoy their Celestial Blonde beer, soft pretzel appetizer and regular burger or bean burger for main dish. Swap-out chips for a side salad (additional charge but IMO worth it after carb loading on beer and pretzels!). Staff is always kind and the restaurant is always clean. An all-around good time, every time, for me!

Great Atmosphere... I was there several years ago and the expansion to the dining area was awesome. I ate their during bacon week and the food was delicious. I had the bacon keg, bacon cheeseburger soup and bacon baguettes. I highly recommend this place if you are in the Danville Area.

Finding a diamond in the rough, off the beaten path kind of place is what it's about. "Not your average restaurant" is what your looking for. As a business traveler, I'm not satisfied with mediocre dining. This place was perfect. It features craft brews, local wines and a menu full of tasty fare made from local sources. I had the maple-almond dip with tortilla chips then followed-up with a burger sourced from a local grass-fed farm. You gotta check this place out. But, better come prepared because Tuesday's trivia-night included an entire round dedicated to the U.S. Constitution. After all, it is in the heart of Pennsylvania!!

We found this place by using the yelp app. Nice inside and for a Saturday lunch it was busy but we sat quickly. My friend ordered a sandwich and when she asked if she could get fries the waiter responded "we don't serve fries, we re trying to be healthy". It seemed off since this place is full of non healthy food and instead of fries they serve nachos and cheese hahahah! The food was overall good. We'd go back if we are ever in Danville again. Especially since they are so healthy

Great little gem in the quaintest of towns. The food better than average, the service prompt and friendly, and the T-Rail Pale Ale ever so much better out of the can.

I love this place! Every time we come to Danville to visit our relatives we stop by at Old Forge for some beer and appetizers. The staff is always so nice, the ambience so inviting and the food is so good and they always have a great selection of beer.

Not much you could say against this place. Beer is top notch compared to other local breweries. I prefer beer off one of the two available nitro taps. Just had the flatbread pizza special and it was delicious!

The only good thing was the pretzel and the Overbite. Food was mediocre, we had nachos, or a couple nachos and a bunch of crumbs. Our service sucked, our waitress never checked on us. Thank god I like the beer.

Spent some time in the area hiking and town exploring. Great little area with some really good food and beer. OFBC was no exception. The staff was knowledgeable and attentive. The beer was excellent, as was the food. I has a burger and it was very tasty. So good I didn't miss the fries. Yeah that's right no fries. You get tortilla chips and cheese dip, that makes you forget about fries!

Great beer and burgers. Service was amazing. This has to be the best place in Danville... If I ever come back to Danville, I will definitely be coming back here.

Not consistent in the kitchen. Wish the staff would take the same amount of care with the food as they do with the beer.

Great tap selection, good sandwiches. Really not much more to say than that. Shortest review ever. Really good tap selection...

I had the Cuban sandwich and loved it! I have never tried a sweet tart soda before and that too was incredible! Highly recommend!

Great place. Informal and nice interior, very clean, pleasing decoration. Good variety of beers, excellent menu. All dishes out group ordered were well seasoned and came in a respectable amount to satisfy our hunger. I will defined come back to try other items in their menu.

I was visiting the area for an interview and apparently this is the best restaurant in town. I had the bellows brown ale which good. Had the spinach dip for appetizer which was decent. Main dish i had the bacon swiss and mushroom. It was good but nothing special. It came with nacho chips and dip instead of fries like most restaurants. It was busier than Bjs smokehouse across the street, but menu is pretty much the same. This is just an average restaurant. If it was in a big city, I wouldnt even go here. But its in the middle of nowhere and I guess theres nothing better around. If you come from a big city like me, you wont be amazed.
