My wife and mother just had Sunday lunch here, our first visit since they moved from Cata. The ladies had crab cakes, very good quality and size, little to no bell pepper in the mix, the way we like them. I had ribs (not a regular menu item ). Meaty fall off the bone great sauce. I hope they continue.

Love. Me. Some. Edith's. We usually try to go for breakfast (and always order the Gravy Train because it's amazing) but we have gone for dinner as well. The best burger in the area, hands down. Perfectly seasoned, big enough to share, and the chips are to die for. The kids burgers are also HUGE, so keep that in mind if you have littles. Service can take a little while, especially if they're busy, but the food is definitely worth the wait because it's so good. The waitstaff is extremely friendly and loves kids. The walls are painted with chalk paint and chalk is throughout the restaurant so you can color all you want! Our favorite place in Danville.

Another fun and yummy visit to Edith's Kitchen!! Home cookin', comfy atmosphere, great service and friendly staff!! Love this new location! Edith's continues to serve fresh specialties, great, fresh baked bread, and now, daily VEGAN items!! We had crab cakes, Kobe beef burger, homemade potato chips, fresh brewed sweet tea!! Dessert?? OMG--save room for dessert!! Oh and BYOB-the staff helps with wine glasses, ice buckets--anything you need!! Definitely recommended!!

Went for dinner with entire family of 10 people. Had reservations at 6 and was seated by 6. Good so far right? Sat till 620 until someone got us drinks, 635 waitress who was friendly and polite asks if we are ready to order, how could we no one gave us menus. Order food at 645 and then sat and waited for 50 minutes for our food to come out. Food comes out and 4 of ten meals were cold, one had 2 long hairs wrapped up inside a chicken wrap, and one order of liver and onions was legitimately way under cooked with maybe 5 pieces of onion on top. Major disorganization within the business and service is at snail pace. Big sign on front door that says WE ARE NOT A FAST FOOD RESTAURANT!!! Great I didn't want fast food I wanted a home cooked style meal but had no intentions of spending 2 and half hours to get that style meal. Just so you are aware a sign out front of your business does not give you the right to do as you please. Service is terrible hope you all get better.

Tried to go here yesterday for a late breakfast, but turns out they stopped serving breakfast at 11am. That was fine, since I was really looking forward to trying this place out anyway. My boyfriend had the Rancho burger and I got the "Fan Favorite" Buffalo Chicken wrap. The burger was decent, and he says he would have it again. My wrap was very very salty. Our waitress was super nice and offered to have another wrap made for me. However, that tasted super salty to me too. I'm not sure what it was that made the wrap taste so salty, but my boyfriend agreed with me on both instances that they were salty enough to make your mouth pucker. We also both decided to get coffee, but the coffee was on the watery/weak-end, and not to our taste. My boyfriend would compare it to as weak as McDonald's coffee. The place itself is very quaint and spacious, and the staff is super nice and helpful. Not sure yet if we will go back.

This was the only restaurant open on a Sunday morning. It is a fairly large restaurant with many tables so you will probably get a table. I ordered the Fruity French Toast with blueberry and walnut syrup. This was three pieces of French Toast cut into six pieces. The blueberry syrup was very watery, like kool-aid, with blueberries and walnuts floating in it. I would have liked the syrup to be thicker, although it would have made the meal heavier. I used the bathroom which only had one stall. The Fruity French Toast and coffee cost me $10.45. If I visited Danville often, I would probably visit this restaurant again and order different items from the menu until I found something special.

This is my second visit to Edith's Kitchen. The sign outside warns customers that this is Fresh Food Not Fast Food so one should be prepared to wait. We came for Father's Day Lunch with a 12:45pm reservation and had our food finished around 2pm. So not a bad wait. The waitstaff was attentive and very friendly. We ordered three different styles of hamburgers -- the Greek (red peppers, onions, spinach, and olives which was yummy), the Ranch (with mushrooms, onions, cheddar and of course ranch making it delicious), and the Apple Tree (Apple slices, melted Swiss cheese and bacon which was surprisingly tasty). We also had an order of the roast beef filling with mashed and stuffing which was disappointingly flavorless. We finished off the meal with Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie which has a wonderful graham cracker crust and was topped with fresh whipped cream. Overall the food was good, the service friendly, and the atmosphere pleasant. We would come again.

I recently visited Edith's. The wait was unbelievable long. There was a party of 20 that came in but otherwise the restaurant was not crowded. We came at 9:20, left at 10:45. The waitress came over once to apologize but then went missing. We had to track her down for more coffee. When we eventually got the food it was good but not worth waiting for over an hour. I would not recommend this restaurant.

I love their breakfast!!! Best local restaurant and homemade food than Perkin!!! I ordered omettle Cheese (pick any cheese you want) and meat (pick any meat you want put) bread and two brown potato!!! Awesome!!! The waitress did sign language to me! I will go to there again!!!

Ate here once before. Service was horrible. We waited 25 minutes to order. Drinks were never refilled. They ran out of some of the food we ordered but didn't bother to tell us for about 25 more minutes. Food came out at different times. They forgot all our sides but didn't forget to charge us for it. The owner talked to us but made no effort to correct this. Food was pretty good but the service is horrible. I would recommend almost any other place in Danville to eat.

Went for breakfast, waited an hour for three omelettes and French toast. Server disappeared during the waiting time leaving us with empty drinks and little explanation. Server came once to apologize for the wait, then did not come back again. We had to approach her across the restaurant to get another carafe of coffee, and waited another 10 minutes until it came. The food was good once it came, but the terrible service and attitude ruined the experience. We again had to ask for the bill, then wait, and finally approached the desk instead. Won't be going back here again.
