Being the first time here, we got a free sample of the wings. They aren't your typical buffalo hot wings. They are served with grilled onions. I thought they were good. I got the roast beef sandwich. The rosemary on the focaccia roll was so overwhelming that you couldn't taste the roast beef. I didn't care for it. We also got a small calzone with pepperoni in it and it was huge and loaded with cheese. It was so good! I would like to try the pizza next time as it looks really good. I liked the beer and the atmosphere. Service was spot on too.

The pizza here was OK. Very acceptable pizza, but nothing to write home about. Not good enough to come again, but not bad enough to tell my friends not to waste their time here. It could very well be good pizza to someone else. I should mention, that it was good for suburban pizza. Up in the burbs we don't have many authentic or non-chain style pizza options, so in that regard, this place is good. But when you compare it to some of the authentic pizza places downtown, it doesn't stand much of a chance. I found it strange that if you order a beverage, they give you a bottle...they don't serve fountain beverages, even though they have a fountain at their large bar. I just don't get why you serve bottles if you're already paying to have fountain service for your bar. Since there are bottles only, that means no free refills. For an appetizer, we ordered some wings. There were no choices for flavorings or sauces, just straight up wings. They were lightly seasoned and charred (coal-fired), but mostly flavorless. They are served in a heaping pile with wilted cooked onions. We also ordered an appetizer of meatballs. They were served covered in sauce and garnished with basil, a dollop of ricotta, and a few wedges of pita. The meatballs were good, but just like the pizza, nothing fantastic.

Not impressed and felt that it was way over priced. I did not like the taste of the pizza crust at all. I was disappointed.

I wish I could give this place more stars. The people here are just awesome. The greet staff and the fantastic servers and bartenders make this place a stand out. They have a first rate craft beer selection. The bar staff is very knowledgeable and make recommendations to suit your tastes. The wings are amazing and the pizza toppings are spilling off of the pie. The meatball and ricotta pizza is my favorite. Fantastic service, drinks, and food!

I tried Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza for lunch a couple weeks ago and had a nice experience. I had the lunch Italian Salad, which was a nice size and very tasty. Plus, you can add protein to the top, which I will try next time as it wasn't extremely filling. On Mondays and Tuesdays every week, Anthony's does a "Coal Fired & Craft Beer" deal where local craft beers are half off. What a great deal!

Great pizza and you have to try the wings. Good atmosphere with a bar and a lot of tv's

I have to agree with Elizabeth M's review. The product is "green" and needs development of flavor. The pizza is just okay, expected more as thr menu boasts ingredients used, but when tasted there was zero "wow" factor. The mini meatballs are bland, with a processed taste & texture, reminiscent of the type in canned spaghetti with meatballs. The pizza claims "plum" tomatoes, they are not fresh but actually the skinned canned plum tomatoes - again bland. No oregano, garlic or basil or spices that typically grab the taste buds with Italian pizza. The crust is very good and carries off the pizza, creating interest & making it more palatable. The selection of draft craft beers is very good. Overall, will not recommend nor return. There are several other "burb" pizza places in the area that have standout flavor, quality ingredients, and texture. Plus side, Anthony's staff is very welcoming, accomodating and efficient. Their name emphasizes the pizza product, not the wings, salads, etc...if they develop some key flavors that would set the pizza, sauce & topping(s) apart this could be a place that would draw more people in.

The pizza and salad are the best in the area. Be careful on a Saturday though-every time that I have been there that day they are doing a large t/o or catering order which makes the dining room patrons (which there are not many) have to wait forever for their meals. The very friendly servers straight out tell you that your order is taking long due to this. Honestly, I think they should at least provide a gratis appetizer or even a bread plate when this is the case. My kids were starved tonight because we went after hockey and the wait was 45 minutes to eat-at 4:30!

Great pizza, got one with sausage, hot peppers and ricotta. Three people could eat from a large, so worth the price. Left full and happy. The service is amazing and I will absolutely go back, will be great location when the Penguins new facility is up and running.

Food was very good, the service was a bit strange - we seemed to have three waitresses who would come and go periodically, some of whome were friendlier than others. The pizzas were very well cooked, as we're the chicken wings (although I don't think it was necessary to bury them in pan-fried onions, I didn't like that at all). I do feel that the additional toppings are quite expensive, having to pay a couple of extra bucks for some anchovies seems a bit much, I'd think $1.00 is more reasonable. My other dislike is that the soft drinks are not from a fountain, they are bottled meaning no refills. I'd definitely return though, because the pizzas were very good.

With the exception of the Broccoli Rabe pizza - just not a fan of the flavors in this one- everything is excellent ! Best wings ever!

Pizza is very good. Meatballs very good. Like their salads. Attentive waiters. Only complaint is drinks served from bottles. No fountain service. Strange.

This is my new favorite lunch joint in Cranberry. You are greeted at the door by the super friendly host staff. Service is very attentive. On our first visit, we were treated to a sample of their wings. They are really good, grilled and topped with a pile of caramelized onions. BJ declared they are his new favorite wings. We decided to share a lunch portion salad and a lunch sized pizza on both of our visits. Their Anthony's Italian lunch salad is amazing. Loads of incredibly fresh lettuce, red onion, tomato, kalamata olives and hard boil egg and topped with Gorgonzola and served with focaccia bread. This salad is plenty big enough for sharing. You also have the option of adding meat. For our pizza, on our first visit, we got olives and sausage. Yum. Second visit, we got olives and sweet peppers on our pizza. The crust is extra crisp and chewy with a titch of burn. We really love this place!

This place is fantastic. Mon/Tue 1/2 off drafts! Amazing pizza. Friendly staff! Anthony's jumped straight into our lunch rotation with ease.

We went to stop by for drinks one weeknight and saw they were closing in 5 mins so we decided to try another time. We tried again on a Saturday night at 10:15. Once we seated ourselves at the bar, the bartender greeted us with "do you know we close at 11". I wouldn't think this is something that should be said even if we had come in the night with 5 mins till close. The bartender was clearly in a rush to leave at ONLY 10:15. Even the customers next to us said wow your really in a hurry to get out of here. I ordered one beer and had planned on ordering another, but after 30 mins of the bartender purposely ignoring us, I gave up. With about 10 mins till close she asked if we wanted anything else. I was half expecting her to come back saying sorry there was already last call if I had gone to order another drink. I don't ever recall not tipping a bartender, however she did not give me a bill for the draft which means she didn't enter it in the POS so she most likely just pocketed the $6 anyhow.

First experience. Terrible. Ordered a sandwich after confirming its vegetarian with waitress . But had to realize meat was in there when took the nite. Waitress was not even felt sorry and said it will take minute to give me 'vegetarian' one. Took almost 20 minutes . Very disappointed first experience.

I went there for the first time on Monday night. Half price craft beers Monday and Tuesday! They had a great selection. I had the Fatheads Bumbleberry and it was so good. My boyfriend had one of the IPAs (I can't remember which one) and he loved it too. We both are craft beer lovers so it the half price deal was really awesome. The bartender was very knowledgeable about the beer. Since it was our first time she gave us a sample of the wings and we were sold. So good. We got a small pepperoni, too, it was really good. The manager was very attentive and friendly. I gave this place five stars because I would come back any day. The service and food was a breath of fresh air considering the selection in the Cranberry area.

The salad was excellent and the pizza was very tasty too... the only downfall... the price... $19 for a 6 slice pepperoni pizza?!? Sorry but that is ridiculous.

  • Jeremy B.

The bartenders and draft selection were great...unfortunately that's all that was. I like the concepts of the wings...they just needed a little more flavor. The texture, onions and focaccia were good. The wings needed more..perhaps a good dry rub. The pizza was so disappointing. I got the broccoli rabe and sausage. It was completely smothered In broccoli rabe. It is a strong ingredient and a little would go a long way it had way to much. The sausage was bland and the tomatoes/ sauce non existent. No where near worth the $18.99 price for a 6 slice pizza.

It is pretty good but 60 dollars for two small pizzas and a salad is obnoxious.

I love the cauliflower pizza! I keep wanting to order something else ( other than the killer wings (and I don't eat wings) with caramelized onions) but I can't. My taste buds take control of my tongue and out comes large cauliflower pizza every time. One day...

Way overpriced, pizza and wings were burned. They aren't lying, their pizza is well done, [burned]. Look behind counter, there are piles of dough laying out in the open waiting to be used, absorbing any contamination that is in the air, very disgusting. Way overpriced and overrated. Don't waste your time or money.
