Nice family restaurant with nice decor and appears clean. The salad was fresh and plentiful. The house vinaigrette was lite and delicious. The pizza came out very hot and was tasty. We thought the service was also very good. We didn't have to remind our waitress to refill our waters. We will become regulars here!!

We love it here!!!! Pizza is amazing. All pasta dishes are great. Occasional slow service but generally fine. Best fried calamari I've ever had!

Only had pizza and garlic knots here but each time was good. Sauce is good which is important doesn't taste like a can. Prices are good as well

Very good. Garlic knots with real garlic. Pizza and gnocchi were a winner as well. We will definitely be back.

TL;DR I did not enjoy the food at Ecco Domani. It was sub-par and I would not recommend to others. I would also not return despite some of the positive things we experienced. I suppose I'll start with the positive aspects of our first visit to Ecco Domani. Our server was personable, and very accommodating. We had a groupon that gave us half off, but we left what we saved as a tip to him in thanks for his great service. The pumpkin roll for dessert was the tastiest thing we ate, and my fiance really enjoyed the cappuccino he ordered to drink with it. Since they don't have a liquor license, you can bring in your own bottle of wine to drink, or get a glass of complimentary wine with your entree. And that concludes the positive things about Ecco Domani. My fiance and I both ordered pasta. He got the lobster ravioli, and I ordered the Rigatoni Maniata. We both had the New England clam chowder instead of a salad. The soup was where we started off badly: thin, too much butter, and nuked in the microwave. Burnt my tongue on the first bite, had to let it cool, and while I did that it formed a thick crust of butter that I had to skim off the top. There was also sand in the clams. After the second sandy bite, I opted not to finish mine. Of my fiance's entree, his statement was a simple shake of the head followed by, "Not very good." As a man whose palette is "edible=yum", it was fairly significant to me to hear him say something did not taste good. Of my own entree, I did not like it. It had a tomato sauce mixed with ricotta and tossed with rigatoni, but extra sauce had been added on top, almost as an afterthought, along with a dollop of cold ricotta. The rigatoni itself was either undercooked or old, chewy, reheated noodles. As the server told me the rigatoni was cooked fresh, I am assuming (and hoping) it was simply undercooked. I sent it back, and the server told me it would be another fifteen minutes or so to make a fresh one, which I was more than happy to wait through. The second time around was a bit better; the cold ricotta was gone, along with the extra sauce, and I asked the server to please tell the chef that I appreciated the effort to accommodate me. There were other things I could touch on regarding my experience but what truly mattered was our food, and it was disappointing.

Delightful! Friendly staff, delicious food, and leftovers that bring back the enjoyable experience of being there! The garlic butter that is served with the bread is super strong, so be prepared to have that taste in your mouth for the remainder of the day. My family got plates to share, and everyone enjoyed each one of them! The penne with vodka sauce was great as was the chicken marsala. All of the staff was attentive by making sure we were enjoying every part of our meal. Extra star for a complimentary glass of wine with an entree!

Cute little restaurant when you are in the mood for some good Italian food. Their pizzas are delicious, Im always for a place that lets you put artichokes on your pizza. Their philly cheesesteak sandwiches are to die for, and HUGE, get a small unless you come in dying of starvation. The only thing I did not like about this restaurant was their garlic rolls, they slather the bread with butter and tons of fresh raw garlic. Im just not a fan of raw garlic, its too abrasive, especially to be eaten with something as delicate as their bread. So, in my opinion, skip the bread or ask before they bring it to lay off the garlic!

I had an early dinner here once. The portions are really huge, so my husband & I shared a sandwich and both got salads. My side salad was just romaine with dressing. I like garlic bread, but this was pretty bad; just huge pieces of garlic and way too much butter. The italian sausage sandwich with peppers was pretty good. Service wasn't bad. Maybe it was just what we got, but I'm not tempted to go back.

My wife and I have eaten here a couple times, once for dinner and another time sandwiches for lunch. Both times were very good. I especially like their white pizza with garlic and oil. This evening I picked up a plain pizza and a cheese steak on my way home. The order was ready on time and both were good.

In my opinion best Italian food in area. All fresh ingredients. Garlic bread served at tables is so good. Don't eat too much or u won't have room for your meal. Big portions for your money.Bring your own bottle there is no liquor license here. Owners are great and willing to accommodate ur needs. Check it out but FYI it gets really busy on weekends so u may want to reserve table or call ahead-especially for big parties.

Been going to Ecco for years, and think that it's the best Italian food in the area. They are super friendly and very courteous and fast service. My favorite dish is Chicken Francese, but everything is good. Al and Julio, the owners, have often made me meals that were't on the menu, like Chicken Valistono, which is my second favorite meal there. They offer complimentary glass of wine with your meal. Their garlic knots, served before your meal, are excellent. My wife and I have never been disappointed with any of our meals there. Go and enjoy!!

Good food and friendly waitstaff. Place was fairly crowded on a Saturday night but we (family of 4) were able to get a table. Menu is fairly extensive and has a kids section. We will go back.

Very nice experience. Surprising for its location. A lot of employees running around the place. Started with Calamari a huge plate arrived sauce was sweet and delicious calamari was just a tad chewy. We had two of the pasta specials mine Pesce Pomodoro, clams, mussels, shrimp with fresh basil garlic and grape tomatoes over linguini was great. The other was a wide noodle with eggplant garlic also delicious. I would recommend it was 3pm so it was not very busy. I do gear it gets busy and I do believe they have a liquor license as they have a wine list. Enjoy!

We love love love Ecco . We live about 20 minutes away and make ever excuse to go to that side of town just to get out "Ecco fix"!! The pizza is amazing and consistently amazing. The pasta dishes are AMAZING! We have never had an issue with service! The one lady reviews that the bread was not good, it's not actually bread, it's more like a garlic knot with a dish of oil and garlic, we think it's triple yummy!! We love Ecco!

Favorite place to eat in Coopersburg/Center Valley area. Love the bread & garlic served while you wait. If you're going for pizza, I recommend the Blancaneve- mozzarella, tomatoes, garlic, & spinach: Out of this world!! The servers are always friendly with the exception of one girl in particular.

We took our friend out for her 60th birthday and saw the Groupon and decided to try this restaurant. It was pretty crowded but was seated immediately. Our waitress was very nice. We both ordered the seafood combination over pasta with white sauce. It was not white sauce it was slightly flavored water. Our entree sat in a large puddle in the bottom of the dish - I did not like eating my pasta in water. So disappointing. We both ordered the same dish. Some of my clams and muscles were not even open! There was no flavor ! The calamari was not able to be eaten because it was boiled so long it was like chewing on rubber bands. Needless to say, we went elsewhere for dessert.

Best Italian restaurant in the Lehigh Valley - SERIOUSLY! The specials are always changing but consistently delicious and the pizza has been second to none for a decade. The staff is so friendly.... Oh and the price is unbeatable!

Got steak sandwiches and fries. The fries were stale and dry. The steak sandwiches were ridiculously soggy. Called back to express my concern. They said that the food sat there for 1/2 hour before I picked it up. I called at 5:30 and was told they needed 20 minutes. I picked up at 6:05. The food might be okay under certain circumstances, but I'll never order take-out again from here. p.s. I ordered food from Mario's in Coopersburg. I let it sit for over a half an hour on the table at home and it was still delicious by the time I ate it. Been here a few times, this was the first bad experience........so it's not always bad.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
