Come here if you want to be treated like family, then stay for some good food. I went the pizza route and this Chicago girl was quite pleased, especially with the tasty sauce. My sister decided on the chicken sandwich and said it was amazing. The real winner here was Ted. We were welcomed in, all our questions were answered, and we even got a joke or two with every water refill. Also, it's within easy walking distance of the Conshohocken Residence Inn, and the hike up the hill to get there more than earned me the right to order a large pizza. Well, at least, that's what I kept telling myself. This place is no-frills, so don't make this a first date destination, but if this place isn't good enough by month two or three, throw that dead weight to the curb.

My husband and I tried Ted's since we've thought about it for awhile, well we should have just stuck to our usual. They claim they make their dough fresh DAILY! No way! The dough was dry, hard and seemed pre frozen, not fresh. The toppings were good. We got sausage, peppers and onions. They only had sweet peppers, eh. We also ordered 12 wings and they were tiny! SO not worth it. I previously ordered an Italian hoagie and it was decent, nothing amazing. I can't say that I'd ever go back to Ted's again and IF they are making that dough fresh daily, they need to change the recipe.

I love this place. I've been coming here since I was about 9-10 years old. My family and I used to come here, without fail, every Thursday night. We always got pizza, cheese fries, and salad. Back then, Ted was also able to teach me a little bit of Greek in order to earn a Girl Scout badge. He has gotten even sweeter over the years. He and his wife remember all of their loyal customers without fail (which my grandfather, who grabs food there every Friday, absolutely loves) and they always seem to be in a good mood. I've never experienced slow or bad service here. Definitely a place to hit if you are in the area.

Some friends and I were in town for a day and some of the locals recommended this place. The staff were very polite and accommodating. We all had cheesesteaks and enjoyed them. The food was fairly inexpensive so if your looking for a good place to eat I would recommend Ted's.

Pizza is decent and the cheesesteak is pretty good but this place doesn't stand out among the competition (namely Franzone's, Lenny's), in particular. Everything is good but not the best in the area. If you like your steaks freshly toasted, you will like the ones here. Service is very friendly though (Ted is awesome!) and it is a good place when you want a wide range of options. There is something here to satisfy everyone.

I've been going to Ted's forever. I don't eat meat anymore, but back in the day they had the best cheesesteaks in Conshy. I have no idea what they do differently but they were seriously delicious. So delicious that as my boyfriend ate one a few weeks ago I couldn't help but salivate as he ate it (he said it was awesome). I got a veggie grinder, which was really good. Veggies and provalone on a Conshy Bakery roll all toasty and melty. Their Greek salads are to die for, and their pizza has a really good light and flaky crust (their mushroom and onion pizza is crazy good). The staff is also really friendly and family-rum and the place hasn't changed a bit since I was a kid (thankfully!).

We came here for subs because Lenny's up the street was closed and I'm glad we did! We got the pizza cheese steak and a mushroom cheese steak and both were good subs and huge. I could only finish half of mine. They were both reasonably priced and our total bill for the two sandwiches was a little over $11. The lady who took our order was super friendly and nice, food was prepared fast, and the inside had a nice little dining area (nothing fancy, but there's a good deal of seating) so you can eat inside rather than carrying out. We'll be coming back for sure.

Ted's Place This is probably the best pizza I've had in Philadelphia (Although it's located in Conshohocken). There is something different about this pizza- a little extra spark. Ted himself touts that he cooks his sauce and adds provolone into the cheese mixture which makes it extra flavorful! The owner, Ted, is an old school Italian man w ho we have chatted with on numerous occasions while getting our pizza. He is always full of cooking and life tips. He has given us samples and tastes of his sauce and garlic butter a swell as helped us with a calamari recipe we were making for Christmas Eve dinner. Pizza isn't the only star of this restaurant. He also has awesome chicken parm sandwiches, roast beef, cheese steaks and meatball sandwiches. This is definitely the place to get your Italian take-out in Conshy. Enjoy!

Yeah, Ted's Place is fine. I came here a few years ago and enjoyed my food in rather unmemorable fashion. More recently, as in about a week ago, I marched down the hill and around the block to Ted's for a household worth of buffalo chicken cheesesteaks (BCCs) and a side of cheese fries. As our house is currently testing the waters for the best BCC in Conshy - this being the fourth or fifth on the list we've sampled - my girlfriend really enjoyed this one, even calling it her favorite. Me, I thought it was only okay. It wasn't overstuffed, particularly spicy, and just not as flavorful as I expect a BCC to be. Dimeo's pizza is better, Lenny's BCCs are better, and they don't do breakfast sandwiches. Frankly, I don't see the point.

Great family owned place, people are always friendly. Love the Meatball Parm sandwich here, and have to say they make some pretty good pizza too. Its your usual pizzeria menu, but what keeps me coming back is the owners, they treat people like family, and you dont get that everywhere.

Currently my favorite cheese steak place. Meat is chopped up, put in a roll, topped with american cheese then placed in the oven to melt the cheese. What cheese steak place shows you that much love? When you are done eating there should be a nice pool of grease and cheese on your plate. That never hurt anyone. I don't know what he does to the meat but its seasoned well and tender. Must be high quality beef. CLOSED SUNDAY

I only eat cheesesteaks and wings once in a while and thought I'd treat myself today. What a waste. I don't know who cooked for the people who wrote the previous reviews about these being tasty cheesesteaks but mine was almost taste-less. The two stars are just for going to the extra step of toasting the bread, which would be great if this sandwich tasted like anything at all. Half went in the trash, it just wasn't even worth eating something bad for you when it doesn't even taste good. The wings were worse. Straight in the trash. Rubbery, soggy and completely inedible. First and last trip to this place. Sorry Ted.

This is a pretty good place. Their cheesesteaks and grinders are better than their pizzas. The cheesesteaks and grinders are always hot and fresh. Their pizza crust is not that good through and I think there's too much cheese and not enough sauce. The service here is very friendly and they treat you like family.

Huge, tasty cheeseteak sandwiches. Massive hoagies, great stromboli. Pizza is good too. Mostly a take-out place, though they do have a couple of tables. Wish they delivered!

I tried the cheesesteak Stromboli after reading some of the rave reviews on google and even though I don't know what a really good cheesesteak tastes like, I have to say that this was pretty good! I was a little surprised that it takes them 25min to bake a stromboli, but when it finally came out, the thing was freaking massive. They said it usually feeds two people, which is quite good considering it only cost about $10. I would definitely recommend bringing a friend to help you devour the thing. If you are a local, I would recommend checking out this little place. They seemed to have a pretty devoted clientele. Watch out for parking though because there aren't a lot of space!

Delightful and delicious! A warm, welcoming, family owned place. The pizza smell from the outside invites you inside. My parents got cheesesteaks, I got a Greek salad with chicken. They loved their cheesesteak hoagies, which were piled high with meat, cheese and veggies. My Greek salad was enormous and just what I wanted after a day of traveling. The service was divine; the owners were working behind the counter and though they were busy baking pizzas they were friendly and cheerful. I would absolutely return here! (except next time, I have to try the pizza )

Talk about being pissed after going to this place. And by that I was telling my co-worker who took me here, how the hell did no one take me to this place yet. We order cheesesteaks for work all the time and no one has taken me here yet, I said. He just laughed and said most of the people at work aren't from the area. I must say the place doesn't stick out when you are passing by and when I walked in there were 4-5 people ordering at the front counter. We went in and sat down and someone came over to take our drink order. I checked the menu out and saw that the Royal was the best thing to try at this place, that I have never been. The Royal is mushrooms, sweet peppers, fried onions, pizza cheese and sauce in a hoagie roll, for those not familiar and upon delivery it was everything that I thought it would be. Add in a side of the cheese fries we got and I was in a very happy place of fried food heaven. Apparently the pizza here is also pretty good. I will have to go back and see what's up with that. Make sure you check this place out.

A friend and I heard this was the place to go for a cheesesteak. I was a bit weary because I knew that a genuine philly cheesesteak is quite different from what I've had elsewhere, but this was super tasty. Very meat heavy, lots of cheese, with some small onions/peppers mixed in. The bread was surprisingly soft and not too doughy. We both stuffed ourselves beyond what humans should be capable of eating. Yum.

We got their pizza and wings tonight and was quite disappointed with both. The pizza although had a decent amount of topping overall tasted very dry. The dough tasted like it been frozen and was almost cracker like. Joe Corbi's pizza, the fundraiser pizza, has competition. The wing should not have been called wings at all. The biggest ones were tiny and the smaller ones were barely bigger then a quarter and that is not exaggerating. They must have used baby chickens to get wings that small. I am giving it one star, since this was my First time ordering from there and won't be going back. Not worth paying to be disappointed again.

I'd take my review of this place with a grain of salt. I only stopped in once, spontaneously, while in the neighborhood. I was hoping to just grab something and then decide whether or not I wanted to sit down and eat it. Didn't pan out, opting to dine in is also opting for table service which I was okay with. I was in an indecisive mood and went with a buffalo chicken cheesesteak, and while I think a chicken cheesesteak is harder to mess up than a regular one...I do have a preference. I'm a bigger fan of whole, fresh chicken breast chopped and seasoned on the grill as opposed to thin chicken slices. What I got here was the latter. And it tasted of freezer burn. That was off-putting and disappointing. I'll give this place a second chance but based on that one experience alone, I was not a fan. (Despite the nice photo of the cheesesteak.) It also had...too much cheese. Service was friendly and pricing was quite fair, so they had that going.

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
