Last night I took my family and a few friends out to dinner. We choose outback, this would of been my second visit in just two weeks. Now I'm not a "yelper" but today I decided to make my premier. To start, the hostess were extremely polite and prompt with our seating. Secondly, our server an older gentleman was extremely energetic and friendly. Our food cooked to perfection. And to top it off the manager visited our table twice to make sure everything was perfect. He was funny, outgoing and personal. This young man (the manager?) was there for both of my visits And each time he had us laughing and made sure our visit was nothing short of perfect. So I give the food a 4 rating but that manager and his staff a solid 5 stars!!! Thank you

Crappy service, cold and stale bread, incorrectly cooked sirloins. Bad outback experience overall.

This is your standard chain steakhouse, with a better wait staff and actually good food. The blooming onion is a must when we go, not only for the deliciously breaded and fried monstrosity, but also for the sauce. I would bathe in that sauce if given a chance. The steaks are steaks - not memorably special but always prepared how you ask. And since this gal asks for steaks "As rare as possible. It can't be too rare for me," but still gets medium-done steaks from more celebrated steakhouses than this one, it is to be greatly appreciated when a steakhouse gets it right. This steakhouse will always get it right. Prices are reasonable, though they did increase the price of the onion. And like I said, the wait staff is always good, and the place is pretty much always busy.

Consistent experience which is decent food and fairly attentive service. That said, if you ever want to know what the bartender or server thinks of their customer, shift, co-worker, etc. just sit at the bar and they'll talk at a level that makes it obvious to anyone within 10 feet.

Came here on a Sunday afternoon. We were sat at a table and did not meet our server until about 10 mins after sitting there waiting. Then our server came over and apologized because he wasnt informed that he was serving our table. I can move pass the lack of communication between staff members. I was totally disappointed in the food at this location. Ordered the 22oz. bone-in ribeye steak medium rare. But as I was cutting into it started to notice that it was more on the rare to tartar. It was so rare that it was requiring me to be very firm with my cuts into it. Also I cut about 6 ounces of fat from my steak and sat it aside. It wasn't edible in anyway unless you're a dog. But at least the staff was willing to take blame for it and stand with the kitchen staff on the bad food they are serving up. Doubt I will be back to this location anytime in the near future.

Food was good! My Server Lauren MARCOLINA was a delight, she made my dinning experience a true pleasure!! She was very pleasant and her knowledge of the menu was extremely helpful! I will definitely be returning and requesting her as my server she was that wonderful'

I'm so disappointed at how my steak turned out. I ordered the bone-in ribeye thinking it was going to melt in my mouth with the seasoning just right but unfortunately it was not like that at all. The sweet baked potato was amazing and the service was not bad. The manager came to talk to us and she insisted that my steak was medium rare but offered to have it cooked longer if I wanted. I declined as I had already lost my appetite. I'm going to stick with Texas Roadhouse.

We have gone to this particular Outback tree times now and have had the same consistent service, quality of food and portions. I know that their salad portions for example have decreased over the years, I think that is more a corporate thing than any particular location. I personally would rather have a smaller portion of a good quality lettuce, than that cabbage mix they used to throw in there that was almost undigestible! That being said, we have gone on a weeknights, were sat immediately and we out the door in around an hour, not feeling rushed one bit. Expectations are high for a steak dinner at Outback and I have not had a problem with this location and will continue to go here as long as they keep it that way.

I've been there so many times that I may as well finally review the place. It's a good Outback location; food and service are above average. My favorite is when they have the steak and lobster special. There's no question that I'll be back here again.

If it wasn't for the 45 min wait after calling 20min prior I would have given them 5 stars. Our server (wish I could remember her name) was outstanding and very friendly. She took our drink order and appetizer order at the same time. Drinks came out right away. I ordered a 22 oz beer but got a 16. Our waitress picked up on it after I drank most of it. She went and got the 22 and I wasn't even charged for the 16. My steak was cooked to perfection and so was my wife and sons. Both our appetizers and our main dish came out with perfect timing. The mashed potatoes were slamming too. I recommend calling 30min prior to your arrival especially on a Saturday night.

Ordered online and was told order would be ready by 7:10. Arrived around 7:00 and was told it would be right out, and would I like a drink while I waited. Hostesses were great. At 7:35 a hostess finally went to see what was "taking so long" and came back after a few minutes with the order. When I got to the car most of the entrees were missing something I had asked for, no extra ketchup or anything and the real kicker was that everything was bland, cold and stale, despite the fact it wasn't even ready at the original time.

The service overall was very slow, from the appetizers to the salads to the steaks. The restaurant was not busy as my got there at 9:30 pm. I ordered the Ribeye medium and it came out well Done so I sent it back. It took another 10 minutes for the steak to be done but it was brought out by the manager. She had me cut into to make sure it was correct this time. It was and tasted very good. Our server Joi was great and very apologetic of everything.

The service was very average, my son and I ordered the filet mignon with unlimited shirmp, but it took 15 minutes for the waiter to bring out the second batch of shirmp. It rakes wait too long for waiting for a second batch of shirmp. The shirmp was small and there were only 10 each batch. It does not with ordering it....

My teenage son loves steak, and though he is broadening his food horizons, he's just not that picky about his slabs of meat. So, when he's willing to dine with us, he usually chooses here and we get quality family time that doesn't break the bank. Usually it's a passable 3 stars, but tonight was a 2. His steak and shrimp combo came with 4 of the saddest little shrimps; his requested medium steak was tough and more on the rare side....but he was ravenous so he ate it. Hubby's porterhouse was also to be medium and was practically well done. Well, maybe my tilapia would redeem it? Nope! Overly salted and I left kind of queasy. Sigh! Should have gone to El Limon where we'd all leave full and happy, with 70 more bucks in our pocket.

Unlike some, i really don't have a problem with a solidly performing chain restaurant. There is something to be said for predictable a-OK food anywhere in the country, especially when you've had to travel for business as much as I have. Some nights you don't really want to find out that Tex's Yum Yum Steakhouse is gross. You just want a decent meal. This Outback fits the bill nicely, with solidly performing predictable food. They got the "Pittsburgh Rare" right - something not every griller can do. The Bleu Cheese & Pecan Chopped Salad was seriously YUM, I could have that as a meal all by itself. Here's what sets this one apart - really good service. We ordered, devoured the bread, then the next thing we know Kaitlin the very nice Manager was apologizing for the delay we hadn't noticed in getting our appetizers to us. OK. Philly in general is not a great steak town (As opposed to, say, Kansas City, Tucson, or anywhere in Texas). So for a decently cooked flavorful steak, you really can't go wrong with this Outback. They take care of your experience there too, which is a plus.

Difficult experience with the waiter. The manager fixed our issue. We'll see how the rest of the evening goes.

Tonight my grandmother and sister took me here for my birthday dinner. Although we got there around 8:30 and we were seated right away, no one came to take our drink order or greet us for about 15 min or so. I mentioned that the other Outback I usually go to has better service and we would have had our drinks by that time as a server passed by. A few minutes later, a server, Dave, came over to introduce himself and apologize for the wait; apparently there was a problem that had caused our prolonged wait. Plus half way through the meal the manager came over and apologized as well; he offered us free dessert and a $25 gift card for our trouble. All the food was average: my salad was fine, my shrimp were okay, but my broccoli was slightly overcooked. My sister only had a salad. My grandmother said her steak and lobster platter was great. The service was good after I made my complaint. Our server, Dave, was extremely attentive; my glass was never below half, plus he was very polite to begin with. Plus, I can't complain about how the manager handled the issue of us being ignored for so long. I guess I'll be back to use my gift card and see if round 2 is any better!

I have been to Outback in Conshohocken many times. I have always enjoyed whatever I ordered. I'll keep it short - I think they give you a very good meal for the price (which I find to be very reasonable). I Love going there.

Steak was tough...others were under cooked. Veggies were soggy...and waitress was nowhere to be found.

DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT!!!! This has to be the worst Outback I ever visited. The service was lousy, even had the server spill a drink on me. The blooming onion was under-cooked, which was something I've never seen before. And if that wasn't bad enough, the steak was overcooked. I don't know what is wrong with this store, but they definitely have issues.

Went for a quick lunch yesterday and it turned out to be anything but. We were sat quickly, but then waited a good ten minutes until our waitress showed up. Ordered everything at once and waiting another few minutes for bread to come. Two women then sat down next to us and ordered a few minutes later. Another 10-15 minutes later, they received their food and we were still waiting. The restaurant was almost completely empty, two or three other tables total. After flagging down the hostess, our meals finally arrived. My fries were old and cold. Sat for a few more minutes until the waitress came to check on us, I asked for a new order of fries. Once the new fries came out and we started eating, the food was good. Bad service really ruins the meal though so it is hard to give this trip higher than 2 stars.

I had a nice experience at this particular Outback. Service was very friendly, and the atmosphere was good. Food quality and amount was good, but I have never had a bad experience at any Outback. I did not wait very long for my food, especially my favorite the Blooming Onion! Cooked to Outback standards, and always tasty in my book. It was a little confusing the night I went because somehow they lost power to their outside lighting so I thought it was closed, but luckily someone was outside to explain the situation. My burger was cooked like I asked, and the ribs that were also served at my table were cooked well, and tasted great. Can not complain about the experience.

Wow, what happened to this place? Used to love it here but not anymore. Bad service, food stinks and portions have gotten way smaller. Bloomin onions aren't crisp like before. Sadly we won't be going back here but luckily texas roadhouse isn't far and they know how to do it.

The service was very slow capitalize SLOW!! We called ahead and we still had to wait 30 minutes? Like isn't that what their new click thru seating is for! The food is great but the service is slow. It's worth coming for but you better have a lot of time on your hands!

They under cook their food here!! I ordered a medium burger for take out and when I got home it was completely raw inside! Sadly, this isn't the first time this has happened. :/

Being a self proclaimed obnoxious restaurant snob, I somewhat begrudgingly agreed to go to the Outback with a friend in tow to please our steak hungry men. I ended up getting ribs and a california chicken salad (joint review w/ Katie B). The ribs were SO good. Too good. Not to mention the classic bloomin onion. Who doesn't love a fried greasy onion every now and then? Fellow diners loved their meals as well. Everybody left full and happy. Fun was had by all. I hate that I loved it?

Soup and salad lunch was very good. Had the clam chowder which was fantastic. Just enough heat to kick it up.

They use food runners, so your server never knows if you're getting what you ordered. By my experience, this system is flawed. 1) My drink order was wrong. No big deal, a beer's a beer. 2) My salad order was wrong. Ok, this is not going well. 3) My side entree was wrong. Ok, this is just stupid. The food runners never asked if everything was correct. And our server didn't check on us until I was already done eating my steak...so I didn't get my side order with my entree. They got 3 things wrong AND they made me pay for the beer that I never ordered. #fail I would have challenged the server, but she was so absent, it wasn't worth the wait. Food was actually very tasty. But for the price point of this place, the service kinda ruined the experience.

Never been to Outback till last night. Had my one steak a year, a filet that was very good meat and cooked right. Large GF menu. Easy access for friend on crutches.

I realize that I've written a number of reviews of chain restaurants starting with a standard hedge: "While I generally don't go to chain restaurants..." I've opted not to start this review that way, as it appears that, by number of times I've written that, perhaps I do go to chain restaurants. Anyway, while the reviews of this Outback tell a different story, I have to say that I had a good experience there last night. We walked in at a busy time and found two adjacent seats at the bar. We ordered dinner, and it came out to the bar quickly and was very good. My prime rib was cooked well, and my wife enjoyed her Outback Special (that sounds like a euphemism). I thought the pacing of the food was exceptionally good. An oft-overlooked facet of dining out, pacing of food deliveries from the time the order is placed is essential. We didn't wait too long for our salads, and our entrees came out a few minutes after our salad plates were taken perfect. If I have one pet peeve when it comes to restaurants, it's when this pacing is off. Nice work, Outback. My only disappointment was the beer selection. I feel like it should be standard these days to carry beers that aren't from huge breweries--it's just good form to carry some local beers. While I really wanted some Victory or Yard's, I ended up with the closest thing they had: Yuengling. Anyway, now that we're established that I do, in fact, go to chain restaurants, and that this experience was not bad, perhaps I'll be back...perhaps...

Never had a good steak from here but the bloomin onion and bloomin burger make it worth the trip. The bloomin onion is big so it's probably the perfect size for a group of 4, but if it's only two of you it may be a little too much with a salad, bread, and entree. They should offer a mini half bloomin onion then I'd order one each time. And since I get the bloomin burger (burger, bloomin onion petals, spicy bloom sauce, amer, tom, let) it would be a little redundant getting the burger and the onion. They also have awesome salad dressings. My favorite is the blue cheese - creamy w/ large chunks of bc.

There'd been almost no alcohol in our sangria pitcher. Pitchers are pretty cheap to begin with but I usually feel it after a drink. Chicken wasn't done properly, my friend's lamb was raw inside. I think I'll be staying away from this place for forever.

I honestly think this is the worst Outback I've been to. I worked at two different Outbacks as a waitress for two years so I'm quite familiar with the menus/quality of service at other restaurants in this chain. The servers are fine and service is fine here. Often times managers walk around to make sure all the diners are having good experiences. My main problem with this place is the menu. This Outback seriously lacks side dishes. If you look at their side dish options it's basically all some sort of starch and very few veggie options. Basically the side options that aren't potatoes of some variety are salads and mixed veggies. Otherwise make sure you love french fries, baked potatoes, mashed potatoes, or sweet potatoes cause those are your only other options. I've gone here three times with various friend groups and all of us are sort of underwhelmed by the food quality here.

Guilty Pleasure Alert. I feel like I miraculously came here on the best night of service and food here ever or something. I haven't been to an Outback in ages - I'm talking at least 15 years. I remembered that I loved the pumpernickel loaf and that certainly did not disappoint. My friend and I shared a half-rack of ribs with sweet potato fries and the California Chicken Salad. We loved them both - seriously. And, we're both ligit food snobs. Our cocktails were pleasing as well. The guys who were with us both loved their steaks. We were entirely too full to attempt dessert. Instead, we went and worked off the meal by bowling at Facenda Whitaker. A perfect suburban night out!

i just have to say, that while its a chain, this Outback not only has consistently good food (my steaks are ALWAYS cooked to my liking), but THE best service you will ever get. i almost always sit in a booth near the bar, and maybe i get lucky with my waiters, but it is worth every penny of the 30% tip i will leave. this place will also never leave you wanting more bread, get like 3 loafs and then just take your dinner home. trust me.

Busy, Loud, Long Waits for a Fair Dinner and Service. Food is prepared well for a seafood, and steak house. The preparation of their steaks is fairly a decent good job for a chain restuarant. Their appetizer are good. Chicken wings are filling, and have their own little way of doing it. Still enjoyable to eat. Their crab/lobster meat is absolutely HUGE ... Its fill with meat and good. The honestly do, do an acceptable job with their meals. Its yummy. However, for a 45 minutes to an hour wait, its alright, I'll pass. Always busy with larger groups, and loud/messy kids. (I don't hate them, I just think they are extra loud.) But if you are looking for a place just to eat steak/crabs, and chicken wings with kids and large groups, its the place to be!

A solid 3 stars. We were a party of 4. Called ahead for a 5 pm reservation on the Sunday of Labor Day weekend. We were seated immediately upon arrival. The restaurant did not seem busy at all, although there were lots of cars in the parking lot. We did not get a booth, but we didn't care enough to ask for one. Our waitress was very nice, brought bread immediately (and two loafs since we were a party of 4 - very appreciated). She asked if we wanted any starters so she can put them in immediately. Apps: We ordered the Bloom'n Onion as an app. and also got a ranch dipping sauce on the side. The Bloom'n Onion was OK... very oily and the breading fell off easily from the onion. The dip that comes with was not particularly tasty as it was heavy on the horseradish, but the ranch dressing (which was a bit spicy because they add pepper) was a better dip. The app came out really quickly, which was nice. Entrees: Filet Tenderloin & Stuffed Shrimp: The shrimp were REALLY bad... overly greasy, tasteless, and the lemon butter sauce was just not good. I'm told the slow-roasted filet tenderloin was pretty good, paired with the au jus sauce on the side (it doesn't automatically come with). Ribeye: We ordered it medium-rare and it came out properly cooked. Got the green beans on the side, and they brought out a lot of them! I was told they were really tender and well cooked. Got a salad for the second side, and damn that looked like a nice, fresh house salad. New York Strip: Asked for it medium-rare and it was perfectly cooked (red in the middle, pink for the rest of it). The texture of the meat, however, was disappointing since the quality was obviously not there. The garlic mashed potatoes on the side were very good, but the fries were unfortunately undercooked and almost inedible. The server was really the highlight of the meal. She was fast, efficient, nice, and very accommodating (brought out the side of ranch dip, exchanged the stuffed shrimp for one with the sauce on the side). Overall, the food was a 2.5 but the service deserved 4 stars.

I don't even know where to begin. 1. Outback doesn't take reservations; instead they do "call ahead" seating to try to reduce wait time. We arrived and had to wait at least 25 minutes to be seated (even with calling ahead...sigh). 2. The restaurant was extremely loud and very busy (ah yes it was a Friday night...heavy sigh) 3. Our waiter was not too confident (actually it was his second night on the job...really heavy sigh). 4. The wait for our food was more than 30 minutes (hungry sigh). 5. When it finally arrived, the steaks were not cooked the way we had asked them. I asked for medium well and got rare (angry sigh). 6. I wanted something for dessert but ended up wanting to leave because the whole night had been ruined from the exact time I had "called ahead" (grumpy sigh). Thanks Outback..next time I will just pay more and go to Sullivan's.

It's a chain. You kinda know what you're getting into when you go, so no witty observations here. Just the facts. Our waiter told us he had been at Outback for 5 years, but didn't have the confidence to do ANYTHING without asking our permission, including taking the bread plate after we'd told him 3 different times that we did NOT want any more bread. I understand not wanting to take anything for granted and piss a customer off, but my husband and I both agreed that he was like a puppy dog waiting for approval. The caesar salad tasted like it was soaked in a fishtank with anchovies and then had black pepper poured on it to remove some of the moisture. We heard quite a few servers, including ours, describing in detail what to expect for each steak order. My husband got the prime rib and I ordered the filet, at the suggestion of the waiter who stated that the difference between the Outback Special and the Filet was definitely noticeable. After all, it was our 8 month wedding anniversary! My husband's prime rib was fine, but had NO rub or spices around the outside, which I think anyone who has had prime rib can attest is the best part. My medium-well steak that I was told would have a strip of pink through the middle was almost charred and had one tiny bit of pink right in the middle if you searched really hard. And by the middle I mean the COMPLETE middle, not the middle of each strip that I cut. In all, it was alright. I'm not saying I'd never go there again. But it left a lot to be desired.
