I can make this REALLY short and sweet for you. Had 4 long Island ice teas in about an hour and half and walked out COMPLETELY sober. Not really much more to say folks. Bottom line; Drink somewhere else.

This is a mixed review. If I had been the only diner, I'd have awarded two stars, but three of us went. My son loved his burger with bacon & BBQ sauce. My wife thought her crab cake one of the best she ever had. I found my shaved steak & cheese & onion panini close to tasteless. In fact the primary flavor on half of it was the Italian salad dressing that drenched the on-the-same-plate salad and totally soaked the bottom piece of bread. Service was cheerful but a bit slow. We used up all the Trivial Pursuit cards on the table while waiting for food to arrive. It was pretty noisy, but it _is_ a sports bar. Nevertheless, given that I was able to see at least three TV's set to ESPN you'd think they could have turned on the captioning on at least one of them.

The chow is pretty good here. The wings were covetous. We shared a plate of twelve for an appetizer, and I kept looking at the the plate after I wolfed down my six. "You going to eat that?" My friend picked up the quesadillas. I ordered the sliders pictured here. Tasty. Not as tasty as the wings (Sorry sliders), but they pass muster, and mustard or any other condiments. A lot of flavor on it's own. It comes with fries that also leave a pleasant feeling in the subconscious warehouse.

After a great wedding. Ten young professionals want entry to this establishment. We were denied because of out party size. Family of the bride who has lived in the area for 40 plus years recommended this place. Loss of business.

Great wings, and nice beer selection. Service is always great! If you are going to watch any Philadelphia game the boat house is always a good choice. They have lots of tv's. They also have two nice chiclid aquariums that the kids will be mesmerized by. Great for groups and happy hour.

They have redbridge gluten free beer! I have been here quite a few times and first off they give you a gallon (well maybe a little less than a gallon) for your drink...biggest Diet Coke I have ever seen! And their service is always great and fast. I have tried the burger (no bun) and the bacon wrapped shrimp and they were both delicious. Everyone I have gone with has also commented that their food was delicious. I like that it's kinda "homey" in here with pictures on the walls and such. They have a very large bar area and a nice mix of tables and booths.

They have a great selection of beers! I ordered a blue moon with a fresh orange slice! It was great and I will be back to sample some more beer but their food was not that impressive. Our table started the meal with fried Calamari. It was terrible. It was too heavily breaded and very dry. The sauce that it was served with was pretty decent but overall this dish alone gets one star. I also ate the Crab Cake Sandwich and it was not terrible. In fact, it was pretty tasty. I am glad I ordered it because it was better than I expected. The crab cake had a lot of crab meat in it instead of just filler and breadcrumbs.

In the inevitable comparison between GREAT AMERICAN and BOAT HOUSE I'm gonna have to give it to the BOAT. Nautical themed dining is no doubt a disaster on paper- but the Boat House actually does a nice job keeping it aesthetically strong without being too tacky. Food is to die for. When it's not *free wings with pitcher* day (incredible), I always hit the chicken avocado wrap. The cheese fries.. Wtf insane. The girls I see running this place are very sweet to boot. Always accommodating when my squad rolls in.
