Did I burn the roof of my mouth? Yes Was it worth it? Definitely Yes All I ever get is their brick oven pizza, and it's freaking amazing. The dough is light and thin, no flour residue all over the bottom. The tomato sauce tastes fresh. Ton of delicious cheese. And you can get any toppings you want and they're generous too! The biggest thing that blew my mind was that they had fresh mushrooms!!! None of the cheap canned stuff. Most people would wait at a Starbucks if they're early for a meeting. Well I come here and grab a personal pizza. Friendly staff. Great food. 5 stars because their brick oven pizza is delicious.

10 years after graduating from high school I still have to stop in for their taco pizza!! I've never had a slice of better taco pizza. The pizzeria itself is in a strip mall and nothing fancy, but it's a great place to grab a slice of pizza with a friend.

I'm a believer now in this place. It has surpassed all other local pizza joints in the Collegeville area.

Hubby and I frequent Rocco's about once a month. I love their pasta dishes. Last night I had Pasta Milano (bow tie pasta w/ spinach, sun dried tomatoes, and chicken in a rustic cream sauce). The portion was huge, and the meal did not disappoint! I also love their personal brick oven pizzas. Just the right size and the crust is always done just right! Their curly fries are really good, too, but I don't like how they bring them to the table way ahead of your meal. Other than that, no complaints.

A pizza place with a little extra. Been coming here for years now, and it's perfect for in a pinch or not wanting microwaved plated food. All the pub food is great, fresh, and satisfying. Always a good crowd around dinner time. Definitely a local favorite. As for dining in, some of the specials and pasta dishes are pretty good, but nothing too crazy that the average person can't make on their own. Portions are fairly generous though. I love their wings! Wait staff is usually that of high school or current college kids but are very friendly.

Food is fairly good but it is amazing how often they screw up your order. Part of it is my fault that I forget to check and find out it is wrong after I get home. They screw up at least 1 out of 3 to go orders of mine. I've caught them in the past and then I have to wait around while the rest of my food gets cold. My order on Saturday included a small pepperoni and sausage pizza and I got a small pepperoni and onion pizza. They are so close to my home but I have to cut back from ordering from them. They use to be our once a week pizza place but no more.

This is my go-to place for wings, hoagies, and such on the weekends. Ordered from them on a number of occasions for the Eagles football or Flyers hockey games. A phone order (only ate in once) usually takes about 15 minutes before being ready for pick-up. They always double check to make sure everything is in the bag / box. Their menu is large and if you don't see something on the menu, just ask them and they are usually able to make it for you. Have a few friends who for some reason like Taco Pizza. Wings are ok, although I've had better at Buffalo Wild Wings and at the local Trappe Tavern. They are best described as a local pizzeria with good food. While you will not be overly impressed, you will not be disappointed either.

"On top of spaghetti.... all covered with sauce..... I found three poor meatballs.... Oh well, it's their loss..... I sat down at the table.... Right by the back door.... And then my poor meatballs.... Couldn't hang anymore..." Yes, because the sauce was great. It's seasoned enough for a pizza joint (as in, I didn't feel like I was eating a mouthful of Hunt's tomato paste). The shrimp pesto pizza was also pretty good. The rolls were nice, and I didn't need much Parmesan with the little that they'd sprinkled on the pasta. Simple meal, nice workers, decent price.... Support the local economy and drop by Rocco's for a good meal.

I stumbled across this Collegeville gem when a nearby mexican place wasn't quite open and I was starving. We walked in and the people behind the counter were very friendly. They welcomed us and pointed out the specials of the day. I immediately saw the any panini special and knew that was what I wanted. I looked at the panini menu and ordered the Americano panini. Turkey, avocado, bacon and american cheese with a sundried tomato aioli, how can you go wrong. My fiance ordered a slice of the taco pizza. We took our seats and our food arrived quickly. Everything was hot, tasty, delicious. I ate until I could eat no more. We have some leftovers and I told the woman who handed me the box, that I had never been there, but loved the food. I literally went back days later. FYI, this place is BYOB. It's a small place, family friendly, and prices are great. I can't wait to go back.

A staple from my college days, a friend and I went to Rocco's the other day while in C-ville. Everything was exactly the same as I remembered; which in this case was great. Rocco's is a really nice little mom & pop style pizza place that's been around for a long time. The food is delicious, and I've enjoyed everything I've ever had here. I like the pasta alla rocco: chicken, shrimp, and sausage in a vodka rosa sauce. Large and rich, but very satisfying. Their pizzas are great; I like to go adventurous in the taco pizza with steak, lettuce, tomato, and hot sauce. Their pizzas can come in a personal size, which is awesome when you don't have friends to share with. On my most recent trip, my bff got a turkey panini with bacon and avocado with a tomato aioli that was really delicious. Perfectly moist filling with crispy bread. Prices for everything are super reasonable, and you get gigantic portions. The place is BYO, which was perfect for my 20 year old self and company to bring in cases of natty light, when I used to think that was cool. There are a few older guys there, most likely owner & manager something like that, that are super welcoming and knowledgeable. The actual waitresses are just so-so though. Mostly young girls that are nice, but definitely mere order takers and not particularly speedy if it's busy.

When you open the door you smell the greatness of this place. The aroma makes your mouth water. We ordered some pasta and the Margaretta pizza and we were very pleased with the whole meal. The service was fast and great and the food even better. This is a place that I would recommend for sure!

I'm a fan of Rocco's and have been going there for many years. I find that the pizza is very consistent and the brick oven is the best in town. I only wish they delivered because that's the only reason I would pick another pizzeria for dinner. I don't eat in their dining room much, so I couldn't comment on the servers. However, if you go in there on a Friday night they always have the same counter servers and I think they are always very nice and pleasant.

Decent local place. The pizza is decent, but I think overpriced for what you get. The pasta dishes are generally pretty good and well priced. The Italian Stromboli is very good and reasonably priced. Overall usually happy with the place. The two issues that bother me are: 1. service when it gets busy absolutely SUCKS. Each server has way too many tables and it takes FOREVER to get served. Secondly, they started adding a surcharge to credit card payments, which is a joke, as well as in breach of their contracts with the credit card companies.

I just had the pasta with arrabiata sauce at Rocco's, and I felt compelled to review it. I've had pizza and sandwiches from Rocco's before, and I've always been pleased. In fact, the brick oven pizza is probably the best in the area. But after tonight I'm a true fan for life! I am a huge fan of spicy food, and I rarely find a place that advertises spicy and actually SERVES spicy. Rocco's did just that. Not only is this sauce flavorful, it was HOT! This is exactly what I was looking for. I'm tired of reading in a menu that something is spicy only to order it and have to load it up with pepper or hot sauce. This place has gained a loyal customer for sure!

Great pizza and decent sandwiches. Employees are pleasant and welcoming. Smells like an old fashioned pizzeria, my dad likes to go with my husband to pick up the pizza because he loves the smell (so does out grandson). Haven't tried the pasta dishes but they look great.

We go here all the time and it was really good but the last 4 times we've gone it's gone down the drain. Pizza is sloppy, too much cheese, greasy, and they couldn't even cut it right...looking for a new place.

Perhaps the WORST pizza I've ever ingested. Very greasy, sauce is flavorless, too much cheese... a total mess. This place is stealing money from the customers. MUCH better pizza within a 5min drive (Trappe)

This place is the best. Both when we eat in and when we call for takeout. When we come to pick up for takeout its always ready when they say it will be.

  • Bren H.

Have been coming here for years since they are convenient, both in the location in the shopping center and in proximity to our house. The quality is consistent with whatever we get from salads to pizza to stromboli. Our all-time favorite is the taco pizza. It is the best we have ever tasted. Baked to perfection. We usually do takeout and I can't recall our order ever missing anything once we got home. Friendly service and you are bound to bump into friends and neighbors when you go there..especially on a busy Friday night.

Awesome specialty pizzas: buffalo chicken, BBQ chicken, TACO! get the taco pizza. Service is decent. Some waitresses are good, others... Are not.

  • Rachel S.

Rocco's is, without a doubt, the best place for pizza in this area. Their crust is perfectly cooked and the sauce : cheese ratio is perfect. They have a bunch of different types of pizza (buffalo chicken, taco pizza, etc), so you can always find something to your liking. I usually order a personal size Bianca (white pizza) with spinach and tomato and it is absolutely delicious. They have the usual pizza shop favorites- calzone, stromboli, cheesesteaks, etc., but they also have a great selection of Italian foods and fresh salads. Their food is consistently delicious and the staff is very friendly and accommodating.

Rocco's is the best pizza place I've found in Collegeville. Their brick oven pizza is very nice (and I'm pretty picky about my pizza). It's got a nice doughy crust, the cheese sits on it nicely, it's a quality slice of pizza. They make a great tomato pie, you'll have lots of leftovers if you order that. It's a behemoth offering with a thick crust and chunky tomato sauce. My favorite dish there is the chicken stromboli. Oh man what a beautiful dish that is. A nice thick, doughy crust surrounds a chicken and cheese filling that is topped off with a nice side of tomato sauce that you will use every last bit of. Sometimes it can be slightly watery, but this remains my favorite dish. The place itself is a classic Italian American pizzeria. Philadelphia and sports themed art decorates the walls, TV's are mounted high up. A few things that bother me: 1. They still use a number system for taking orders. This seems to always cause problems for them when I go to pick the order up. Just take my name and when I come in things should go smoother. 2. Foul-Ups....As much as I LOVE Rocco's....I gotta say....they mess our orders up probably 50% of the time (and I'd say we order from there every other friday or saturday). We've learned by now, we check the bag before leaving the restaurant. We had one time where we got home and there was an entire sandwich missing. Another time, fries were missing. The side of tomato sauce doesn't always find its way into the bag even though its a complementary addition to many menu items. Outside of that, great place overall, very clean place. UPDATE FOR 1/9/09: Unfortunately, I'm going to have to knock Rocco's down to 3 stars now. Since I originally wrote this review, the errors in our orders have become more frequent, making it less tolerable. We stopped checking orders before leaving the restaurant and that was a big mistake. I've gotten home only to have to leave again and go get missing parts of our orders on more than a few occasions. Very disappointing. The food is still great, but they are downright horrendous when it comes to filling orders. UPDATE FOR 6/23/12: Wow, it has been quite awhile since we've been back to Rocco's! 3 years?? That's the damage that can be done by racking up so many errors. Perhaps we need to give them a shot again...

My go to place for pizza in Collegeville. So good! I love their brick oven pizza, and get it often. Great slightly crispy crust, delicious sauce, and lots of toppings to choose from. But the past two times I ordered it, the pizza was way to greasy and dripping with olive oil. Despite this, I'll keep on getting it, and just chalk those pies up to an off night. Their sicilian is also very good; thick ariy dough and not too heavy. The basic tossed salad is decent too. They have lots of other options menu options as well (pasta, salads, sandwhichs, pannis, seafood, chicken), which I haven't tried. Great for eating in. It's BYOB, so make sure to stop by the liquor store right down the street, and get a bottle of wine to go with your meal. Pick up has been great too, never had any problems.

This is my favorite place for pizza in the Skippack area. I stayed in Motto St Anastasia Sicily a few years back and ate pizza almost every day. The margharita pizza at Rocco's is the closest I have ever tasted to the pizza over there. One caveat though. Rocco's advertises their pizza as brick oven. They do have a brick oven, but it was broken when I last visited there in September 08. However they are still advertising the pizza as being brick oven.
