This is a typical American-ized Chinese restaurant. Not bad for what it is. They need to take a chance and provide some more authentic Chinese fare. However, this is Clearfield, and you know what happened to Babu (spelling?) on Seinfeld.

For the money this place is awesome....the rice was a little soggy, the generals chicken didn't have much meat on it, the soda was watered down and only 2 1/4 bars of the 3 1/2 bars had anything on it (the half bar was only half full and nothing on one of the bars entirely). I will say the place was spotless, the service was awesome and the decor was a little more than I expect that's probably why they got so high on my list. I will also give them that 7 something ($10 out the door with tip included) isn't bad at all for a lunch buffet with drink. Just need to give me some variety and make what you make the way you can make it. Clearfield has some awesome places to eat so.....IMHO find one of them (unless you're set on Chinese)

Very average Chinese buffet. Food was kept at proper temps. Not a great amount off variety on buffet. Very clean and efficient.

Me and my wife stopped here for some lunch while traveling through Pennsylvania. A solid 3-star leaning towards a 4-star. The food tasted good. The portions were plentiful and the price was right. When our food was served, we were impressed that the chef came out to check on our satisfaction. The restroom was spotless; which I always take as a good sign. The decor was traditional and our casual attire was acceptable. Good and attentive service.

I am a fan of Chinese Buffet Restaurants. I have had lunch and dinner at numerous Chinese places in PA and when traveling out of state. To be fair to this business, I went in for lunch at 2:45 on a Saturday afternoon. So the food was pretty much left over from the lunch crowd. However, the Sweet N Sour Soup had no flavor, it was hot, but that's about it. I like General TSO Chicken, but what they put out for the Buffet were small pieces of chicken that were mostly breading. They did not have a Chinese Vegetable dish, and in order to get some broccoli I had to pick it out of the Chicken and Broccoli tray. They had one tray of Shrimp in Butter which featured the smallest shrimp ever caught on this planet, and that's all it was, tiny shrimp cooked in butter. The only thing that was decent was the Vegetable LoMein, and of course the ice cream I had for dessert. I could give them a pass for it being between lunch and dinner, but what they had in the serving trays wasn't worth the $5.99 lunch price. I thought it sounded like a bargain when I came in but they charged me $1.25 for hot tea on top of that, which most Chinese Buffets provide free with lunch. Total was 7,70 out the door, which as about what good Chinese Buffets cost. A waste of money. This is probably the only Chinese Buffet right in Clearfield, Skip it, its terrible.

Best place in Clearfield for Chinese. Weekend is usually packed. Food is warm and plentiful. The buffet is a must-have.
