I haven't gone back in a long time. Their clam sauce was good and one of their waitresses was very kind to us. I used to go all the time. However, the cheese on the pizza didn't taste right and I ordered it again and it happened again. It tasted as if it was a few days past its expiration. Also, I was there with my friend, and the waiter was very rude. They weren't closing for 45 minutes and they wanted to leave early, so he was rushing us and wasn't nice about it. My friend needed to talk, so we ended up talking out in the cold outside the restaurant and he kept looking at us through the window and was annoyed. I won't go back unless my family wants to go there. Their service and food is not what it used to be.

Perfectly adequate for a quick dinner stop on the way home after a weekend upstate. Pizza was fine; service was fine; it was fine.

Very good pizza, the slices aren't too big or too small. lots of other very good food too. My favorite place for pizza!

This is the second time we have gone here in the past six months. We ordered a chef salad and cheeseburger hoping it would come out quick being that we were Xmas shopping. 70 minutes later we were walking out because there is one waitress for the whole restaurant. She is great but I don't know if one person should be serving 15 tables at once. She suffers in tips and the patrons suffers in service. The owner needs to realize it affects his bottom line. We won't be back after this time. Last time we waited for quite a while as well and all we ordered was a small pie and fries. Definitely went downhill and the owner is either ignoring complaints or doesn't care anymore.

We were meeting friends from NY and Clarke's Summit was the halfway point, so we decided to meet here for dinner. Overall, very good Italian food and reasonable prices. I had chicken parmesan, which was a very large portion and very good. My wife had a seafood pasta dish, which she loved (she is picky about seafood, it needs to be done perfectly). We were with our daughter and another couple and their two kids (everyone else liked their dinner, too). The waitress/staff didn't seem to want us to allow the three kids (ages 7-12 years old) to sit at their own and told us they needed the other tables for the dinner hour (we were there around 5pm on a Sunday!). The waitress wasn't friendly, which is why I have this at three stars. If she were nicer, this would easily be a four star restaurant.

I have wonderful childhood memories of this place. When I was a kid, my mom used to bring my brother and me here as a treat every Friday. After a long day of shopping or school, we would sit, talk, and eat some of the best pizza around. It was kind of "dive-y" ... but in that way that was quaint and friendly. When I moved away for grad school, I would make this my first stop on the way home. And, I would literally bring another pie back to school with me to share with friends (with a bag of Middleswarth BBQ chips because they had never heard of those either). In a way, a stop at Dino's was emblematic of "being home." Fast forward a few years. The pizza has changed several times (each time for the worse), the place was completely remodeled (it is warm and quite pretty but the television is intrusive), and the prices have doubled (probably as a result of the remodeling). I miss those cool bar stools, I miss the former cashier (she was such a doll), but (most of all) I miss that old pizza. It was like nothing I have ever had ... anywhere. (I think the cheese was a blend of Parmesan and Romano?) For some reason, I keep coming back ... somehow hopeful that a cook will find the old recipe or that the owners will allow the old one to be made (maybe it was too expensive?). Over the past year we have had two genuinely "bad experiences" here. In one instance (early this year), we order-out two pasta meals. When we arrived, the cashier (a man) said the total was $42.00. We asked for a break down of the bill, but he couldn't really explain it (and he gave us no receipt). We were starving, so we paid (knowing that we were being ripped-off but too hungry to care). We did not return until summer when we ordered a large pizza and apps. The pizza we received was shockingly small. But the cashier insisted that was the new large. Once again, we hated ourselves for returning. (I guess we are optimists to keep giving this place another try). Last week, we visited again (I guess there was enough of a time span between the last incident). The service was great (he was super friendly and helpful), but the food was so slow to come out that we wished we never stopped. We were there for over eighty minutes ... we ordered a pizza and two sodas. And, the pizza? Greasy, bland, boring. Ughhhh. I guess we are "done" again. I wish I had a time-machine and could return to Dino's for my favorite pizza. For now, it appears to be gone forever. Bummer.

I am not from the clarks summit area. My wife however is. Someone I always end up going to Dino's when we come for a visit. Her Grandma and sister loves the place, so inevitably at some time during our visit we get sucked into going there. Her dad hates it. He says it used to be pretty good before the kids took over, but now the food is bad and he won't go back. I have to agree with him. When I go here though, I always make sure I get the pizza, which while not the best isn't terrible. Or I get a sandwich, because they're not too bad either. One time I made the mistake of getting fettuccine alfredo. It was terrible. I mean, not terrible where you can eat it, but you say I've had better, I mean terrilble where I couldn't even eat it it was so bad. I can get a jar of alfredo sauce at the grocery store and it will taste half decent. Another reviewer said it was dirty, but they recently remodeled it, and it's pretty nice inside now. Just the food isn't that great. There's enough good italian restaurants in the area that you don't have to settle for the food they serve here.

While here visiting family, I was craving chicken parm. I have not had good chicken parm in 19 years when I left the east coast. I could not heave been happier. The chicken parm here was fantastic. My husband enjoyed the linguine aioli, my sil the gnocchi. The sauce was a little sweet, the cheese the perfect amount of gooiness. The garlic bread was perfect. Oh how I miss good east coast Italian food. I wish I could bring this place home with me.

In an area where delicious creamy cheesy pizza flows like blood from a stuck Orc why anyone would want boring Ney York Style pizza like this is beyond me, the place is filthy, the bathroom smells like an elephant's outhouse and the food is sub-par, it's not THE WORST, but its so average, which isn't a good thing. Go up the street to Calarusso's to have your pizza mind blown to tiny little cheesy shards!

I've eaten here a bunch of times and every time like it a little less. Their pizza is undeniably good and maybe I would recommend take out here, but not much more. I know this place has been here forever and has an almost cult status with the people that like it, but if you look at it objectively it has definitely "fallen from grace". The staff is made up of disinterested high school girls and rude, middle-aged women. Don't get me wrong, I can appreciate a "tough as nails" broad serving me food as much as the next person, but there is a fine line between that and disrespect and they consistently fall in the latter category. Their non-pizza italian food is underwhelming and the last salad I got there was far from fresh. The round pizza is good, though, I must admit. It was tempting to give 3 stars for that, but you need to do more to get that rating from me.

Time to check this old favorite out again! Remodeled from front to back. Big screen TV for the game, new dining area, new bathrooms and new wait staff. What is the same is the delicious food, reasonable prices and RC cola. Most nights you can get in without a wait but Friday and Saturday nights you may have to wait a few minutes for a table. Was there for lunch the other day and the food is now coming out hot without a long wait. DEFINATELY BACK! I highly recommend this place.

I attempted to get a late dinner, and called ahead to make sure the kitchen was still open, as its 30 minutes before closing. When I arrived the hostess was friendly but not very knowledgeable about the menu or how the food was cooked. She went into the back to get answers, and was told pizza and hoagies only, when I attempted to order a grilled chicken hoagie and was told they would not make it. The atmosphere was nice, the place was clean but I am.not sure I would go back.

I have to say this place is much better than the reviews state. I had the spaghetti and meatballs with a salad and it was very good. I was hesitant after reading the reviews here. I depend on yelp alot as I am not local and travel a few deal. I think this place is definitely worthy stop

The food here is actually quite good, and inexpensive, but the service on the other hand (one server in particular) is absolutely horrible. We had the same person on multiple occasions ( nice, just has no restaurant etiquette) and expressed our disgust with the poor service. Needless to say we no longer eat there. Had their service been better I would have given them a higher rating because their food is actually very good.

I've been going here since I was a kid. In high school, almost every day I would go tanning, then to the gym, then to Dino's..haha I know, not the best choice after the gym. I haven't lived in the Clarks Summit area for over 10yrs, but make my way back every time I'm in town. I have to get the Buffalo chicken tender hoagie! It's still so good! Just now, I have to ask for light bleu cheese dressing-can't remember if they always put a ton on, or if my tastes have changed. My sister got the wings and of course I had one--so good! Great spicy sauce and crispy! I couldn't tell you the last time I had fries covers in cheese sauce and hot sauce, but so good! I was torn between those or the gravy fries-next time. When looking for some good home cooked food, def worth a stop! I'll be back the next time I'm in town!

I usually don't complain, but I have to this time. I chose to ignore the negative reviews because my boyfriend and I were in a pinch and wanted some Italian food. We regretted our decision and probably would've gotten better service across the street at McDonalds. We had a rude middle-aged waitress named MaryJo, when told that the wings were actually hot instead of mild (like we ordered), she said that they were mild because that's all that the cook had left.. What? Didn't know that what the cook had left was automatically what we ordered. She also fought with us when we told her we ordered 12 mild wings.. Her service was enough to stop anyone from coming back.. All other employees seemed to be disinterested and absolutely not friendly enough to be working with people. My pasta was decent, but the service will leave you uncomfortable.

I had been here when I was a wee lad back in the 90s and have only recently returned to the area. Upon my return, my buddy's wife picked up a tray from Dino's. I had remembered their round being good back in the day, but never had their square...until now. The square is goooood. Crunch crust which was tasty. Last month also went in for sit-down service. It was a bit slow, but whatever, they were going to bring me pizza so I didn't mind. I got the round, it was delicious as anticipated. My bro in law had the pasta which was a huge portion (he crushed it). His rents got salads which looked good (I'm anti-vegetable). I split the round with my sister and I think she only got 2 slices. I had the rest.

If you are looking for good service, and friendly workers, keep going. The food is average, what makes this place avoidable is the staff. Rude, and totally ignorant of their customers. Caesar salad was more like soup, too much dressing. Pizza is OK, boneless wings were good.

Very very slow right from the start waited a good 15-20 minutes before the waitress ended her conversation with some guy at the desk as far as the food goes very good we all were happy with the food !

The wings and pizza are good, but service was extremely slow and impolite/rude for no reason...not even at a busy time. Not worth the trouble in my opinion
