Gets packed at lunch and I can understand why! There are different lunch specials every day; Tuesday is $6.95 for any sandwich except the "Super Sidewalk Special" and the double cheesesteak. Totally worth it! I had the Reuben sandwich on Jewish Rye with swiss cheese, sauerkraut and Russian dressing. My favorite is the sauerkraut and dressing. I could probably eat that with just the bread. Our table also had the tuna hoagie, Italian hoagie and a side of fries to share. The hoagies were HUGE and I was told it was delicious. The fries were nice and hot when they came out and not very oily - just the way I like it. There is construction going on and the day we went happen to be a party day where some of the parking lot was closed off which made finding parking a bit difficult. And there are 2 doors to this place so you can park at either parking lot. I definitely plan on coming back for more!

Tasty sandwiches for great value. I'd recommend the club sandwiches & chicken cheesesteak, which is what my friends ordered. Not much of a brunch place. French toast was no longer served a few minutes after noon. Ordered an egg white omelette with mushrooms, onions & peppers. Took 15-20 minutes for my food to come out and was pretty disappointed. Omelette was not well assembled, vegetables not diced but in large chunks. Had to cover it in ketchup for taste and do my best to eat it while it fell apart. I've had much better omelettes from college dining halls. Interestingly it came with a side of fries & toast. Fries were probably best part of the meal to be frank. tl;dr don't order an omelette, get a sandwich here

I just had breakfast at Diane's and it was the best egg and cheese sandwich that I've had in a long time. I've been here a while back for breakfast and wasn't too impressed then but today's hit the spot. I think I even saw a couple of customers from my last visit which makes me wonder if they're just regulars. That's certainly a good sign I'd think. I had the bagel, ham, egg, and cheese sandwich and it was cooked to perfection. I tend to be picky about my breakfast but I didn't have any complaints about my experience today. It does get busy though but I think its from all the businesses around and it's peak time for breakfast. So I did have a bit of a wait but I'm not complaining.

I would have loved to have tasted the food here but... first I had to track down a waitress, then give her the order after she spilled coffee and orange juice all over the table and then I never got served. 15 minutes later I see my waitress walk out with my order except it has bacon, which I specifically said I didn't want. She pretends it's not my order and then offers someone nearby the bacon from the plate and then she goes back behind the counter puts down the plates and then comes to me and says "they lost your order back there in the kitchen". I kid you not folks, this happened right in front of my eyes. It's a shame really, I wanted to like this place. It's quaint and out-of-the-way but the service here, in a word, sucked! Go ahead, try the place, but remember I warned you that you may never get served...

I got the breakfast platter 2. Eggs were done perfectly over medium as I requested. The pancakes were fluffy and delicious. I have moved to Chesterbrook a year and a half ago. It took me this long to "find" this place. I'm regretting not finding it sooner. I'll definitely be back

We were in Chesterbrook for business early this week and were told about this place. WOW - Amazing sandwiches! They make their own corned beef and it is amazing. The service is excellent. We even got sandwiches "to go" after lunch (to eat for dinner) and they were so thoughtful in the way that they packed them so that the bread wouldn't get soggy and the ingredients would stay fresh. This is the best deli I have ever been to and the prices and service make it an even better experience. GO. You won't regret it.

Really great food. Awesome breakfasts and killer lunches. There are two entrances into Diane's (one from the parking lot and one from the center of the courtyard). Walking down the hallway brings a sense of homecooked freshly made food. I order the 24a - Special Club Sandwich - consisting of turkey, ham, bacon, lettuce, tomato and mayo on white toast. Honestly I have a feeling I'll be getting this everytime I come. It was that good and filling. (maybe for breakfast I'll get something else... maybe) Don't forget the 6.95 lunch specials!

Very friendly owner and servers. Have come here for 15 years and what I like is that the quality has never changed. Some places go downhill after awhile or change portion sizes or charge crazy prices but this place has always served up delicious, fresh food and the pricing remains fair especially considering the large portions. I love the egg salad and the turkey specials. My kids love the grilled cheese and the fries are awesome. Breakfast is great too!! I just wish this shopping center would see a revival.

Great little spot hidden away. Lots of regulars obviously come here. Actually forgot this little gem was here. Clean and resonably priced

It's been several months, so shame on me! Joey and I visit when we can because this was on of his grandmas favorite spots. My Mom use to come here when my Dad was alive and now that's she's gone, I'll bring him up as long as their still there. Great omelette and home fries and joeys #2 with a side of home fries is enough for a family with 2 small children, teen age boys can really "house" some food. Thanks for breakfast.... See ya next time!

I am so pleased at how GOOD Diane's Deli really is. Classic sandwiches - breakfast and lunch items. Huge deli-style sandwiches, chicken and tuna melts. The decor is dated - but comfortable and clean - and the service is great. We love it here for office-related lunches. The closest thing to a REAL deli you will find near here - and the sign simply says "DELI".

Whenever we are at Valley Forge, we always visit Diane's deli. The cheese steaks are delicious and made the way they use to be 50 years ago at the shore . Not only are they the best in the area, they are also enormous and at $9.99 a real bargain.

My company often uses Diane's Deli for catering events at the office, and that's how I first got introduced to Diane's. The catered food was always good, so a bunch of us decided to go to their location for lunch. As others have mentioned, it's not much to look at and the place is often packed, but they seem to do a pretty good job of turning the tables over. Service is also fast and efficient whenever we've been there. Prices are reasonable and portion sizes are HUGE! I ordered an egg salad sandwich once and I think they must have used close to a dozen eggs in just my sandwich alone! It was piled so high that there was no easy way of eating it. Food is consistently good. When we are really hungry, Diane's is where we like to go!

There is a big pharma company in Wayne, PA and they are a key client of mine, so I am in Wayne often. What's a big city girl to eat in small-town Wayne, PA? We walk into Diane's in our client-ready attire and briefcases and realize that this is the place where workers of all types come to get a massive sandwich and a Coke. Almost everyone is male, and some have paint or dirt or bits of plant matter on their clothes. Eeks! But everyone is friendly to us and smiles abound as we walk on by. This is what I refer to as GIANT TURKEY SANDWICH COUNTRY, and Diane's is the reason why. Before an important meeting here last year, my colleague decided to pick up sandwiches for each of us to eat before the meeting. These sandwiches were easily 16 inches long and STUFFED to the brim with turkey. Granted, the turkey was juicy and freshly carved and all kinds of delicious. But let me tell you, it was amazing that we stayed awake, presented well, and were awarded the business! So I was back here yesterday with my colleague, and we smartly decided to SPLIT a pastrami on rye. With fries, of course. The fries were enormous, hot, well salted, thin, and tasty. A+. The sandwich was again huge, but split between two girls, it was fine and I didn't eat most of the bread. Yummy pastrami but nothing beats Katz's. That's the way I roll. Mediocre pickle.

First of all, just know that inside this place doesn't look like much, a fact that my dining companions from work noticed right away. Whatever you do, don't let appearances fool you. For a mom and pop deli, the quality of food here is generally very good. In fact, it might be better than a couple of local well-known delis in the area. I was very happy with my turkey special which was piled high with fresh turkey on good soft Jewish rye, and I was also very happy with the chicken soup which had good chunky hearty ingredients. My colleagues were very happy with their chicken cheesesteaks and fries, which they said exceeded expectations. Service for us was very friendly. We definitely had one of the sweetest waitresses around. Now, being an autograph collector, I always like it when places put autographs of local celebrities on the wall. But, let me say this... any place can put autographs of really famous people on the wall. This place has an autographed picture of Nick Leyva. Who's Nick Leyva? Look it up.

This place is a bit of a hidden gem. It's tucked away in the rundown Chesterbrook plaza and it isn't much to look at inside or out, but the food is no-fuss good. I've gotten hoagies for take out. They are prepared quickly, are a generous size (enough for leftovers), are under $10, and stuffed with meat and fillings. Bread is fresh and over-sized. I love this place for a great hoagie. Both times I've gone the service at the counter was genuinely friendly - what a pleasure especially for a casual joint.

Fresh food and friendly service. A small enough menu as to not make selections too complicated, yet broad enough to meet your entire family's needs! Breakfast, burgers, chicken parm (that both kids loved) and more! Thanks to Yelp for another fine find! Note: it's tucked in a little plaza, so be sure to look for them! You'll be glad you did.

Went here for lunch once. It's small, but pretty well staffed and service was decent. I ordered a ruben. They have good specials. That day it was any sandwich for 6.95. My ruben had a decent ammount of meat on it, but it wasn't one of the better rubens I've had. I was fine paying the special price for it, but wouldn't pay the around 10 dollar price it is on the menu. I'll probably go back sometime and try something else.

Best local Jewish-style deli restaurant, especially compared to Michael's in KoP. Go to Michael's if you are picking up Jewish deli staples by the pound (Diane's doesn't offer that), come to Diane's for a sit-down restaurant experience. Biggest annoyance here is their hours, its only open to 2-3pm most days and they are sticklers on timing for switching from breakfast to lunch and shutting down the grill 30 minutes before closing. The decor is a bit utilitarian, but they did a mild refresh/remodel last year and it is improved. The daily lunch specials (eat-in only) are very good, the take-out lunch specials aren't bad, but you are better off on the eat-in specials. The sandwiches range from sizable to large,to insane. Cheesesteaks are very good and sizable, and the club sandwiches are huge (BTW, go on club-sandwich lunch-special day of the week, you will get a great deal). They have this sandwich which may be more of a marketing gimmick by intent (except for the fact that I have ordered it regularly over the years) called the "Sidewalk Special", basically its combination of: 3 Pieces of bread (my preference is toasted) 2 big mounds of meat (corned beef, pastrami, turkey, roast beef), cooked or uncooked Russian Dressing Coleslaw It looks ridiculous (like those Dagwood sandwiches in the comics) when assembled and requires at least 2 sittings (I can never finish in one sitting). Its so huge, that if I have a take-out order, I ask them to separate all the components and I assemble on site before eating. It easier to eat when its not all soggy. I say its the best deal in town and if you split it with your dining companion, you will rarely be sorry.

First time I have felt let down by yelp. First the good - huge portions and really friendly and efficient employees. Price was ok given the amount of food, I suppose. The food, however, was not impressive at all. I had the chicken salad and it had lots of fresh chicken but was completely bland - almost no mayo and nothing else added to it except a very few small bits of celery. I could have taken my leftovers home for 1-2 more meals but why would I?

Doesn't look like much from the outside; but this place rules. Top notch corn beef piled high. Big win for the home team.

We just moved our office to Berwyn, and a friend recommend Diane's Sidewalk Deli. It doesn't look like much from outside (just a big DELI sign), but WOW is this a hidden gem! All of the employees are very sweet and efficient. They know how to get people in and out for lunch. The first time I dined at Diane's, I ordered a tuna salad sandwich and my friend ordered the chicken salad sandwich. The bread was piled high with delicious tuna and chicken. How do you eat such a tall sandwich?!? That is for you to hungrily decide. We have since gone back, and every visit is a real treat. Anything we have ordered has been served fresh, and the ingredients are high-quality. I am converting my coworkers to Diane's fanatics. Only drawback is that they get very busy during 12:00-1:00, so maybe arrive a little early or late if you need quick service.

Outstanding lunch spot...small Mom and Pop type diner atmosphere but wow what great food. Here on business for two weeks and was brought here by the locals for lunch and came back about 5 times...cheesesteak on garlic bread with provolone...my usual order. And get a basket of fries...somehow they are the best I've had in a long time. Highly recommend....wish they were open longer...:( The owners are great people...very friendly Our waitress Lindsey was always a sweetheart.

Diane's is a great lunch spot with huge portions and a vast menu. The lunch specials are a great deal during the week and I usually order based on the specials. Salads are very large and somewhat difficult to eat at times, at least with keeping it all on the plate. Sandwiches are very good. Great fries and onion rings as well. Overall, I try and eat here at least a few times a month. Give it a try if you haven't!

If you're in the Philly suburbs and looking for a great lunch place you have to try Diane's Deli in the Chesterbrook Shipping Center. The chicken salad is great and the corned beef is worth the drive from the city. Plenty of local regulars so arrive after 1:00 if you don't want to wait in a long line.

Large portions and reasonable prices have kept me coming back for a very long time. The corned beef special is very good as is the chicken salad. The onion rings are a must have! Cheesesteaks are also very good.

This place is great, every sandwich I have ate at Diane's left me feeling guilty only about calorie intake. I cannot remember ever having food being served that left me remaining hungry or not tasting delicious. Do yourself a favor and visit this place.

Family run deli. Few like it around with such a great reputation. The waitresses have been there for years and they will remember your name. The owners are there everyday and work hard to keep the place consistent. Great food, large portions for a great price. It's Chesterbrook's best kept secret.

Great find! $5 lunch specials and the sandwiches are gigantic! I usually can only eat half and can take the other half home for dinner. Corn Beef Special is my fave.

This is a true deli restaurant with enormous sandwiches, terrific sides and really friendly service. Don't miss their lunch specials. This just like walking into the Stage Door Deli in NYC but without the rude and surly service. The waitresses here are all super and sweet.

A nice friendly place. Normally very large portions of food and a decent price. A family run place.
