I know this a large chain in the darden company (Olive Garden, etc) but it is surprisingly decent, albeit a bit pricey for this area. The staff are really friendly and the ambience is nice and clean. The menu is typical of the chain but all cooked perfectly and quickly. The apps are understandably unhealthy but don't make you feel like death afterwards and are all very tasty. I was surprised at how well fried the shrimp was and had a good dipping sauce. The chicken wraps were not my first choice but a bit healthier and still good. Stuffed mushrooms were almost decadent and delicious. Entree wise the steaks are all well cooked as were the other options and sides. The chicken tenders were perfectly cooked and they even let you have cheese fries as the side if you want. The sweet potato with the fixings is also delicious.

Service was a bit on the slow side, but pleasant. The medium rare steak was underdone and had to be sent back. It came out fine the second time. The medium well steaks were done just right.

Waitress was great but the steak was ordered medium it was well it was a t-bone it was thinner then most pancakes...for place trying to be elegant they need to bump up there steak selection to more elegant cuts

We like this place the best of any restaurant in Chambersburg. The ribeye is our favorite item on the menu--juicy & highly flavorful. The prime rib is very good as well. When it comes to sides, we're big fans of the roasted sweet potato & the steamed broccoli. The salads aren't special but are OK. I really like that they offer a "long pour" of wine--a glass & a half. Service is always excellent. The last time we were there, I asked the waiter for an honest assessment of the French fries & he said they weren't great. That's the kind of honesty we all want but rarely get!

When you go to a steakhouse, you typically want a steak. I don't eat steak very often at all, but it really sounded good to me. I ordered the 6 ounce sirloin with a side of green beans. It was awesome. I like well-done steaks, and despite the no-pink, it was juicy and very tender. The green beans complimented it well. The salad was a bit lacking. Simple iceberg lettuce, a few chopped veggies, and drenched in dressing. I highly suggest getting the dressing on the side! My hubby ordered a burger which had shaved meat on it as well as mushrooms and sauteed onions. He raved about it the entire time. I was disappointed in the lack of beer selection. A few beers available, and that is it. I expect a little more choice at a steakhouse. Sure, they have a plethora of mixed drink capability with a fully stocked bar, but I want a beer! A few more choices (and maybe some more local like Roy Pitz or Troegs) would be great. Prices are reasonable for the steak quality. For sandwiches, or other chicken or shrimp entrees, I feel it's too pricey. Appetizer prices are off the charts, too, and portions are small. Our server was super nice, attentive, and very pleasant. She even told us if we didn't like something, to let her know and she'd give us something else. I don't know that I've been to anywhere that tells you that! We all liked everything we got, so it wasn't put to the test. It was very clean, neat, and orderly inside. I liked the decor, it's warm and inviting. If I get in the mood for a steak again, I know where to go.

This is my family's thrid trip to long horn in Chambersburg Pa, we also attended one in Winchester, Va. Everytime our food has been burnt. Charred to the point we couldn't eat part or all of it. The service was friendly but the cook is either untrained or longhorns have a really high temperature they expect raw beef to be "cooked" to. My advice go to Texas up the road.

I only eat beef twice a year. Driving by and seeing two steak houses close together I used Yelp to make the decision. And true to form Yelp users are right. My table had skirt steak and ribs. Both were satisfactory. Ribs were fall off the bone. BBQ sauce was mild. Broccoli was steamed perfectly, but unseasoned. The fresh bread is always a treat. Rice pilaf was overdone, and too soft for my taste. As another review suggested; DO ask for the dressing on the side with a salad. Very over dressed. So, overall, good as chains go and priced as expected. If I knew of a local Steakhouse I'd try it next. But side by side with Texas Roadhouse this was a good choice.

The food is okay but waaaaayyy overpriced. I got a better steak at Knute's for a lot less. The appetizers are good though. The atmosphere is pleasant and clean unless someone is drunk and yelling at the bar.

this place is nearby a bunch of other food options but it never lets us down the service is 5 star and the food is amazing get the Victoria Filet, don't get swayed by the lesser cuts (like cheap sirloin)

The service and atmosphere were great. The 7 Pepper Sirloin salad was ok but the steak came out very chewy and undercooked.

Normally I would not write a review for a chain restaurant, but I have to give a shout out to our server last night. Her name was Amethyst and she was awesome. She was very nice, attentive, brought us a dipping sauce that wasn't on the menu that she thought we would like, and it was very nice to my niece and nephew. A server who is not only patient, but good with kids was very pleasant. The food was great but Amethyst's service really stood out and everyone should request her!

This location is very new to Chambersburg, PA... I think it has only been open for a month. The place is beautiful, nice bar, lots of seating. The service is excellent. Any desert is great! The house salad was fresh, the homemade blue chhese dressing is to die for! The bread they serve was excellent and hot! ... The lunch specials were not so great... Stay away from all sandwiches.. they are greasy, portions are way too small and they all have some type of greasy cheese on them. The soups were ok, as for appetizers I was not impressed at all.We had the mushrooms and they were a creamy/cheesy /oily mess! My husband & I went in for the lunch, had a appetizer and a desert. We did not have any drinks other than water and the bill was $45! This included a 20% tip. On a scale of 1-10 I would give this place a 5 tops! Nothing to rave about.... has great curve appeal!
