Some pretty harsh critics up in here...! It's a McDonald's just off the Pa Pike in Carlisle. I've been using it as a way station for years as the halfway point between Bucks and Westmoreland Counties. Convenient place to take a break, or exchange passengers for trips east or west. The food is pretty much standard and the bathrooms are clean. When my son was much younger, he enjoyed the playroom for a few minutes to burn off excess energy from sitting in the car too long. While I have found much better places to eat in the historic town of Carlisle, this Mickey D's is still the closest place from the Turnpike exit to meet fellow travelers, and the turn around and head home. Yes. And sometimes I do sit down for a Happy Meal.

If I could I would put 0 stars. The fries were horrible. After standing there for 5 minutes with no one there we said hello and the manager came out and said what!! Like we were a burden to her then she messed up our order. We stopped her before and it seems to have gotten worse since the last time we thought a mcflurry sounded good no we asked for an m and m mcflurry and not one m and m. DO NOT GO HERE!!!

What everyone says about the drive thru is true. The slowest "fast food" service I've ever experienced.

Decent place. I just stopped in for a quick bite. The order taker (appeared to be a manager) didn't seem thrilled when he took my order but at least he thanked me and wished me a Happy Thanksgiving. I just had a cheeseburger, fries and bottle of water. The food is what you would expect from a McDonald's. Thin piece of meat on the burger, lots of bun. Good ketchup/mustard flavor with the pickles. Fries were good also and evenly salted.

They really screwed the pooch on my mcflurry. They only gave me a half a mcflurry when I paid for a whole price one. If I wanted half a mcflurry I would have paid half the fricken price. #worstmcdonaldsever #thisplacesucks #imangry

Took a while to get thru the drivethru in the evening. Must have been there for 15 just for a cup of coffee. I ordered iced coffee. It was too warm, and it wasn't black even though I asked for black.

Once again, very slow service. There were three of us in line. There were only TWO people working behind the counter. One preparing the food and one taking order for BOTH the counter and drive thru. The gentlemen I was in line with agreed with me that this was the slowest McDonalds I have ever been to. I left without placing on order because I did not have the time to wait. This is not the first time I have registered a complaint about this restaurant. Someone needs to be retrained, hired, fired, whatever. Customer service is truly lacking.

I ordered the breakfast platter with hotcakes. There is no fork, knife, butter, or syrup in the bag. This ruins the breakfast and makes it difficult to eat like a normal person. Maybe your employees do not need a knife or fork to eat, but I do. Do I need to specifically ask for every piece to make sure your employees can place it in the bag. Common sense tells me me they'd be in the bag, but I guess that doesn't exist behind those golden arches. Next time, I will speak really slowly to make sure your employees understand, and take my time, look in the bag, and demand to get what I pay for. There's a sign I can see my car that reads "FAST FAST FAST". Maybe it's time to make sure your employees understand how to put an order together. Also, I did not receive a receipt, and the woman who took my payment (via debit card) seemed sickly.
