My wife and I went here for lunch yesterday and I must say, we were not impressed. We got two appetizers, chicken strips and cheese fries. The chicken was hand breaded which is good but all the breading falls off into whatever,out of the jar, dipping sauce you choose and the fries were ok but a little heavy on the garlic. I ordered a bacon and blue cheese burger "medium" which was so well done my father would surely have been a fan. My wife chose a rueben, which has become her standard sandwich whenever we go for lunch, and was equally disappointed. There was very little meat and what was there was cooked till it was tough as leather. We split a slice of the "Colossal Ny Cheescake" which was indeed colossal and almost worth the visit, but at 6 bucks a slice, it should be. We both agreed that this would be our one and only visit to Garfields and we wish we had, once again, chosen Texas Roadhouse for our lunch date while at Clearview Mall.

We stopped by 6 other restaurants in the area, and walked out of all of them...Garfield's was given a bad review, since all the good reviewed restaurants looked dirty we looked in Garfield's ,decided to give it a try, it was clean and air conditioned . Julie was our waitress and she was wonderful. Everything that she recommended was just as she described. The food was good, and in a town that gives Mc Donalds 4 stars this was great!trust us,we live near Manhattan and eat out a lot,this was definitely not a 1 star compared to every other restaurant around there

All I can say about this place is Yuck! The food is bad and the service is bad. One thing that really bugs me is they use "plates" with a dome like arch to them. That makes it look like you're getting a lot of food when you're really not. Above the bad food I don't like being cheated or lied to.

An abysmal commitment to service that has been going on for years. I called the day before Easter and was told by the manager they would be open till 5pm on Easter Sunday. Got there at 3:15 only to see a sign on the door, "sorry...closed". I was so mad, I nearly laid a colored egg. You may want to go there, because the food isn't bad, but as far as the service, just remember, some bunny warned you!

My family took me here after we went on a little road trip. Not knowing the area, we stopped here. I have to admit if I had known what it was going to be like I would have stayed hungry longer for a better place. The ambiance is very generic. It is well lit, but when we were seated they had forgotten to wipe the table down. After we pointed it out a busboy quickly wiped it down without so much as a smile. Then they forgot to give us our silverware for some time. The menu is relatively small with the standard fried foods with more fried foods. We ordered our drinks and they brought us completely different drinks then what we ordered. We sent them back, and waited another ten minutes for our drinks. The actual food was all right. I ordered the fried shrimp with cocktail sauce, which is a pretty safe bet. The rice that came with it was all right, nothing to seriously complement. Overall, I left without feeling hungry. I wouldn't go back though.

If i could sum this place up in two words, I would call it upscale McDonalds. It is nothing short of mediocre bar food. Kings would make better food, and that is really saying something because I am not happy with them either! The last time I ate here, I was sitting in the restroom and this drunk guy was standing outside the urinal and urinating on the floor! That's right, urinating on the floor! I told the staff about it and they reluctantly sent someone in there to clean it up. I don't think I am going to go back there again!
