I guess I'm going to jump on the 5 star bandwagon, mostly for their commitment to service, although the food is almost as good as their concern for customer satisfaction. I really enjoyed the crispiness of the bread on my sandwich and the home-made sides. For those of you familiar with the area, they occupy a remodeled restaurant on Route 8 that used to be Dino's Deli. Keep in mind, they are NOT OPEN Monday or Tuesday.

I have been to this sandwich shop three times now, and have had a variety of experiences. The first time I ordered their reuben and it was excellent. Second time had the roast beef, which was missing the horseradish, and it was mediocre. Third I had the steak, which was acceptable, just very... plain tasting. I'll be back though, surely. Good bread, good vegetables, average meat, average cheese, good sauces.

Sandwiches are great! I got the petite pork which was 2 pulled pork sliders on pretzel rolls. They were very good and just enough! I also had the macaroni salad which is almost the same as my mothers recipe. The only downfall is it would be nice to have some fresh brewed unsweetened iced tea. Everyone there is super friendly and the price is right!

What a unique environment. The King family is creating their own empire north of the city. If you haven't been to this great little sandwich shop, or to thier farm store, or their donut shop, get there quick before everyone else finds out about them!

If you want sandwiches, here they are. Drawn in by the 5 star Yelp ratings, we stopped by for lunch and were disappointed though we did eat all of our food. The atmosphere is cute farm-style and the menu descriptions are tasty. The service is on top of it. I appreciate that the ingredients are good and especially that the meats are high-quality from their own farm. Overall though? I would rather go to Chipotle or Five Guys. It may be that it is better than all the other local options. I wish they would taste test the menu items and rethink some of the recipes - in particular the pulled pork and chili. grilled cheese - actually baked not grilled so not butter/greasy on the outside, nice big slices of bread hot dog - good! 6.50/2 so 3.25 each, probably very good quality meat if they make themselves chips - nice selection of bagged chips side of wild slaw - nice rolls - supermarket, Kaiser for example pulled pork - extremely mushy with what tastes like generic bottled ketchup sauce but is probably homemade, I found this extremely inedible, frozen? hot Italian sausage - okay, better than Costco's offering from their hot foods, not too fatty, not spicy and not very Italian-y (spices), probably very good quality, just little flavor chili - this was lukewarm, watery (frozen?) and had little meat and rather large chunks of pepper and various sizes of meat bits, did it have any chili powder? was the chili powder generic? No one would finish it and we love chili. I would expect at a church potluck. It was very inexpensive. sliced beef - fine, maybe a bit lackluster on flavor And, so the other reviewers may be all relatives: IMO, This is not a unique sandwich menu, sandwiches are not large enough to take 1/2 home unless maybe you weigh 100 pounds, need better reviews.

One of the best sandwich shops I've ever been to! I can't wait until I'm driving through the area again so I can have another of their sandwiches.

This is not your usual sandwich shop, it has the most unique sandwich menu and the quantity and quality exceeded my expectations. Their chicken salad sandwich was huge and excellent ingredients. Now their Reuben Sandwich was not the usual corned beef, but pork based ham. Excellent sandwich, large enough to take half home. The most unique aspect of the food is that it is all home grown, vegetables or meats. Highly recommend you try this "homegrown" sandwich shop, and while you are there, go across the street and visit their "family" farmers market. Quite a "jewel" in this area of Pennsylvania.
