While the pizza was good, the customer service was both non existent and horrible. I ordered 2 slices and my wife ordered a gluten free pie. My slices came out in about 8 minutes and they were barely warm. My wife's gluten free pizza came out 15 minutes after my slices. And I had to inquire about here order twice. Adding insult to injury, my wife's pizza was not slices through. I went up, got the gluten free pizza wheel and did it myself. Why didn't our food come out together? Why don't any of the workers here give a damn about customer service? Good pizza is great, but without great service, it is never worth it. Sadly this place is not one that I would recommend to anymore or that I would return to myself.

First things first: The pizza is really good. The unique flavors (BBQ chicken, mac and cheese, baked potato) are delicious. However. I personally witnessed the manager harassing some of the female staff. He would make inappropriate comments, touch backs and shoulders way more than necessary, and I even saw him slap a girl's butt. She tried to laugh it off, but you could see how uncomfortable she was. What really made it 1 star, though, and is keeping me from ever returning, was the rat I saw crawling on cords above the salad bar and making his way further into the kitchen. Absolutely disgusting. My skin crawls just thinking about it.

If I don't want just a plain piece of pizza, Peace A Pizza really is my favorite single slice. I've felt the quality might have slipped in recent years, but it's still good. I think they changed their dough a bit. A lot of my co-workers don't want to return, so I tend to go by myself. The soda selection is local New Hope better quality soda. Some of those taste good, but others are iffy. I'm not a huge fan of the tomato sauce, but most of my favorite slices don't even have the sauce on them. I love the white pizza and the buffalo chicken pizza. Also, a lot of the slices I get have BBQ sauce on them. I keep coming back and I've brought my sister and young nephew here for a meal. Some staff members are better than others. The parking lot is the biggest pain, but I try to get there before the stay-at-home moms come in.

I love this place the food is great. Love the delicious unusual pizzas. The only downside is the service is all high school and college students. They don't take there job very seriously. The place also really needs to be cleaned the tables are covered with crumbs and so is the floor. On the bright side they have this really awesome healthier soda, not any of the main stream brands they were really interesting and fun to try.

Loved this place! There were many choices of toppings and they don't skimp on them - my friend and I both got the Mediterranean and the slices were huge! This location was also well served by having Hope's Cookies in the same space, so a great spot for a quick dinner and dessert.

Decent pizza. Lots of specialty pizzas that are different. I enjoy the potato pizza. Carbs on carbs on carbs. Kind of pricey but good for a quick slice. Get a cookie or froyo at hopes that is next door/ attached.

I was looking for quick bite, I've been to a few locations before, however Bryn Mawr location was new for me. I walked in and a few varieties of pizzas were available. No lines around 5:10pm on a Monday, so service was quick. Tables and floor had crumbs or paper, bit sloppy that I hesitated to sit in. Pizza dough was not fully cooked and taste was bland. I had buffalo chicken and veggie pizza. Bathroom was clean. I personally wouldn't return.

Peace a pizza is a really cool pizza shop but I was not impressed with my experience here. The menu has a ton of options, however if you are just looking for a slice or two your options are slim. The employees are not very welcoming and often cold towards the customer. I have been back a few times but I am not sure I will go again from here on out

It confuses me that anyone thinks this is good pizza. It literally tastes like cake. Everything is so sweet... the sauce, the dough... it's like eating dessert. Plus the cheese is never melted evenly, so it forms a gross skin on top.

I used to love going to the Peace A Pizza in Ardmore before it closed. We stopped in the Bryn Mawr location recently for a quick dinner before going to the movies. They have a lot of cool specialty pizzas. I got a slice of the bbq chicken, which is my favorite. I think their pizza is really great. I also used to love doing the make your own pizza here with my friends but I think that is supposed to be just for kids. But, despite the good pizza, this location is not the best. It was pretty crowded and difficult to find a small table for two. Also, the service kinda sucks. It's a lot of teenagers working here that don't seem to know whats going on and don't have the best attitude.

Yikes. This place needs a major rehaul. While I was thinking, "if you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say anything at all," there are many improvements that could be made here. Ambiance: This location is busy, and as such the dining area sees a lot of activity. With that said, the messy dining area with the crumbs and sticky tables is gross. I wish the staff would clean off the tables more regularly. Service: Very, very disorganized. In the many times I've frequented this place, all or some of the following has happened: very long waits from the point when the order is placed to the time the food is ready; untrained staff do not know which salad cheese is which, and cannot answer basic questions about the salad dressings; incorrect items are charged on to my credit card; etcetera. While I point all of these things out, I believe they are a function of under-trained staff, not carelessness on the part of the individuals. Food: All issues aside, the pizza is good, salads are inventive, and the cookies are great, Highlights - the barbecue chicken pizza is awesomely flavorful, as is the Nutty Goat salad, and for dessert, the chocolate walnut cookies are loaded with candy and nuts.

I remembered this being a little bit better. Not bad, but not great either. The woman working behind the counter was very friendly and patient. There were a lot of creative choices, but I got intimidated and stuck with pepperoni... I figured it was fool proof but I wasn't a fan of it. I guess, I'm difficult when it comes to pizza. The crust was thick (i like it thin) and I didn't like the cheese or sauce. They were both bland. Aside from the pizza, I have to complain that it was unbearably hot. I couldn't tell if the ac was on, which is a problem when eating hot food. And I noticed that Hopes had an iced water dispenser, it would have been useful at Peace a Pizza too. Loved the homemade soda though!

I would not give the pizza four stars (it is good, but not my favorite), but had to because of the customer service. The pizza was ready fast, and when they ran out of sausage for one of our pies they quickly called me back asking if we wanted to sub something or change our order. Also a huge plus that it is connected to Hope's cookies :)

What it really comes down to is that I think this place suffers from what I like to call Main Line delusion. That is, a lot of people on the Main Line may think pizza doesn't get any better than this, which means they don't really go to places like South Philly or Fishtown too much where they are making real pizza. Now, that all being said, I've always been OK with the food here. It's generally decent pizza with a good range of toppings. Getting two slices, one with buffalo chicken, and one with eggplant parmesan on top, is definitely a good option to have. And while the taste may not bowl me over, it's definitely a good tasting slice in general. It's just not worth driving over 4 miles for when so many better Mom and Pop joints exist.

We were so excited to try this place. Well that is where the excitement ended. We ordered a few different slices to trade and try. All of our slices were barely warm. The bacon cheeseburger pizza tasted like a lot of bacon bits dumped on top. The pepperoni pizza was chewy. My two yr old didn't even touch hers. What a disappointment. I wanted to ask them to reheat it but it was Prime Dinner time and the cafe was filled with Hope's cookies customers. One a better note: they do have a cute kids corner with Tv and little table. There is just one or two but at least it is there if available. They also have alot of high chairs. They really need to do something about their execution here. Just such a great concept and with a tad bit more work I bet this place would be amazing...

Pizza itself is quite good, especially the crust. They also have some unique toppings. However, as others have noted, the service is horrible and disorganized. My last two visits have highlighted their poor quality service. Most people show up and order slices, and the servers generally do ok. But I ordered by phone and was told to arrive in 20-25 minutes. Although I came 30 minutes later, it became apparent that they did not even place my order. They didn't even put the pizza in the oven until I showed up resulting in another 15-20 minute wait. Because I looked extremely unhappy, they did offer the pizza for free. The most recent visit I ordered online and wanted to use the 50% introductory offer for ordering online. When I got there they tried to have me sign the credit card for the full amount. It took them another 5-10 minutes to agree to it and figure out how to give money back. When I checked the pizza, I saw they forgot to put pepperoni on one of the pizzas! So they took it back, sprinkled some pepperoni on it and put it in the oven for about 2 minutes. Not surprisingly, the pepperoni was still raw but slightly warm. So I asked them to take it back. The pizza baker actually said "well it is still a pepperoni pizza." They put it in the oven for a few more minutes and it was a little better but they couldn't bake it any longer because the cheese and crust would burn. Since I had already spent 20 minutes there I decided to take what they gave me. While they make good pizzas and do a satisfactory job of serving walk-ins who want slices, they tend to be slow and disorganized and get pizza orders mixed up. Poor service doesn't make up for a pretty good pizza. It may be a while before I give them another chance to get it right. But it's two bad experiences in a row now.

All Peace of Pizza locations seem to have high school kids running the place with no management of any kind around. This one is always dirty both in the kitchen area and in the dining room and the pizza is ok. Great concept poorly executed.

YUMMY pizza. Such a variety of toppings/pizzas to choose from. Fresh and huge. Def. one of my fav pizza spots. Beware when entering that you may leave w/ more slices then you originally wanted. Also tastes great the next day.

Pizza wasn't what I stopped in for. I actually was here to get some cookies from Hope's Cookies. But since I was already here, why not have a couple slices.. There are plenty of specialty slices made here. I went with a slice of spicy chicken, which wound up not being spicy at all. If anything, it could be described as chicken parm on fresh dough. Still pretty good tasting. The other slice I had consist of pesto instead of a red sauce, topped with mozzarella, fresh basil, and sausage slices. Not bad either. You can't go wrong with any of what's served here because it's hard to be not satisfied with how soft and fresh the crust is.... These slices were a nice change from the usual slices that I would buy at my neighborhood shops...

Salads are really good here, and priced very reasonably. The breadsticks that come with them are awesome too. We went through a phase of ordering salads almost every night before the holiday season a couple years ago because we were so busy. They were always prompt and courteous despite the holiday rush. They forgot bread one time but corrected it on our next visit when we let them know. Always a solid source for takeout.

Meh. A souped up Domino's pizza. Bland crust, sauce, and cheese. Only redeeming feature is the ability to go outside the box (cheeseburger pizza, chicken fajita pizza, etc.). Almost not worth the calories.

For meat lovers: Bacon Cheeseburger For veggie lovers: Mediterranean Salad Pizza - which is really a lot more appetizing than it sounds. Nice salty feta + olive oil + olives + roasted peppers = pretty delicious. For cheese lovers: White Pizza - an oldie but goodie. For carb lovers: Macaroni and Cheese Pizza Look, if you're going to pay under $5 for a meal, don't expect some real Italian decadence. You get what you pay for, and Peace A Pizza delivers a $3 slice for $2...which isn't a bad deal.

Great quality and memorable menu! Give it shot and be sure to try a salad as well. We had a slice of buffalo and bleu, and Mediterranean plus a green salad. Only thing I missed was the gooey greasy taste that you expect to get with east coast pizza.

To sum it up in a word: meh. I went with my friend here for some pizza when we were studying for a midterm, so really, the pizza was mostly to not be hungry, if anything. They do have some interesting gourmet pizza, but it's overpriced and not THAT tasty. Furthermore, the customer service was also a little lacking. Somehow the lady at the counter thought I wanted 3 pieces of pizza. Um, no. Maybe that was a mutual miscommunication. Even still, she didn't seem so pleased when I challenged her assertion on the number of slices I ordered. I might come back, but I wouldn't count on it.

I'm sorry, how can people eat this? Quick tip - any person, place, or thing that labels itself "gourmet" (with the sole exception of the now-defunct Gourmet Magazine, RIP) is guaranteed to let you down in matters of culinary taste. I don't like to generalize, but this is one generalization you can take to the bank, along with the one that "luxury condos" are never luxurious. The "gourmet" pizzas at Peace a Pizza are of a type - the type that thinks you need to pile endless tons of "inventive" crap on top of overly thick crust for a satisfying and "gourmet" bite. When will these types of pizzerie learn that the best pizzas are the ones that take care to produce a chewy crust - not thick, but well-stretched, flavorful, and chewy - and feature a few carefully chosen toppings, rather than an avalanche of entrees? Novelty is overrated. Macaroni and cheese on pizza is wrong. Ranch dressing on pizza is wrong. Alfredo sauce on pizza is disgusting. If you want to eat a cheesesteak, eat a cheesesteak, not a cheesesteak pizza. There's something to be said for learning to do it right, rather than trying to be "original" and provide "variety." I'd rather have a plain cheese slice from any pizza by the slice place in Philly any day, or every day for the rest of my life, than another slice from Peace A Pizza.

Definitely not the greatest pizza but I have to give them props for sheer creativity (mac-n-cheese pizza anyone?). The crust is a bit too doughy for my palate and is not always cooked completely through, at least not for the strombolis. Not a big fan of the sauce either. Yes, there is a Hope's Cookies attached so I suppose you could justify getting pizza here by getting a cookie afterward but why not just get the pizza elsewhere, like Vic and Dean's and grab some cookies to go? Also, this is rather trivial but the prices on the menu board aren't actually the ones that they charge (it's maybe twenty cents more per slice but just fyi).

Eh, as an old friend would say "It makes a sh**" In other words, if you need to eat, it's food. The atmosphere was chaos. There was a birthday party there, and most of the rest of the tables were filled. It was loud and crowded. The tables were dirty. The service left much to be desired. "What do you want?" does not make me want to order. I had never been there before so I had to take a minute to look at the mystery pizzas in the display. What's with the chicken and peppers and random things? Oh, that's buffalo chicken pizza? I never would have guessed that one.... I don't know the area, so I can't say what I would do if I lived there, but I'd probably go somewhere else if there was another non-chain place in the area. Disclaimer: I was bordering on hypoglycemic when I walked in, so I was very grumpy to begin with, which may have colored my view. Take it as you will.

Its a quaint little building in Rosemont. The Parking is sparse and I think you may get towed away if you try to use the Borders lot. The place is home to both a Hopes Cookies and Peace A Pizza, which in my opinion is a better combo than Taco Bell/Pizza Hut. As other people pointed out, its full of mainliners ( there was actually a middle aged "cougar" in the requisite tennis outfit) and High School and college kids. These are people i usually try to avoid at all cost. My plan was to get some cookies and a Pizza ( so I was in the right place). I had heard some recent ,positive reviews and thought it was about time I tried it. I ordered a large cheese pizza (about $13) and while I waited I went over to Hopes. This will be a 2fer review as they share a building. I got the Heath Bar, M&M and choc chip. There was a tip jar there but I really dont see tipping for someone putting cookies in a bag and charging, maybe if I got icecream but otherwise....and this from someone in the service industry who often relies on tips. I ate a few while I waited for my pizza. They were exceptional, especially the Heath. Mind you, I am a baker so it takes alot to impress me. I would come back just for the cookies. They are a little pricey at almost a dollar a cookie so only for special occasions.... like morning and evening. I took the Pizza home and ate it and this is where they lost me. The crust was a little doughy for me, and I would have preferred straight up crust than a herb infused one. The sauce didnt know if it wanted to be on the sweet side or the spicy side therefore failing on both counts. The cheese was nothing special. Overall it was like a frozen food bought Fresheta pizza. Not a fan. And trust me, trying to put a Hopes cookie on it to make it taste better doesnt work. Overall, I guess its a cool place. If I lived or worked or studied in the vicinity I would probably go more often. Otherwise, Ill stick to the places I like better. Oh well, cant love'm all.

While the food is good, it is hardly worth the hassle of the incompetent service. I have ordered delivery countless times and rarely have I received what I've ordered. Multiple times, my chicken salad has arrived missing any chicken whatsoever. The delivery guys rarely have change and in-store service is rude at any given time.

I never liked the "Sorry, We're Open" sign. How depressing. I do, however, like the big cow outside! I almost had to steal it for one of my hell week trials... bwahaha.... The idea of this restaurant is nice, and I'm all for peace... I just never liked the pizza very much. They have plenty of original toppings and flavors, but I never found one I was in love with or anything. I mostly came here because it was attached to Hope's Cookies. Which is, undeniably, the bomb.

Peace A Pizza is a chain of pizza places around the Philadelphia recipe. It specializes in "Gourmet style" pizza which pretty much means pizza with funky topics. We went a little with a classic upside down pizza and tried their more "funky" chipotle veggie pizza, a pizza with BBQ sauce, tomatoes, monterey and jack cheeses, red peppers, cilantro, black beans, and corn. The chipotle pizza was definitely interesting. The BBQ sauce gave it a tangy spicy flavor. Not sure if I would get it again but definitely worth a try. The upside down pizza was tasty, the sauce was sweet. The dough was soft and chewy with a hint of sweetness (this wasn't noticeable with the BBQ sauce and hard to tell if it was really the dough or the sauce on the upside down). Although Peace A Pizza has several locations around the Philadelphia area this one is especially tantalizing because it's connected to Hope's Cookies which are fantastic. Definitely giving this location +1 stars for the Hope's Cookies connection. Although I'm not sure if I'd describe this pizza as "gourmet" it's definitely tasty.

My wife and I love this place! They have the best pizza in town and it's within walking distance from our house. If this place is busy as hell that means the business is kicking ass! My wife also tells me not to buy the Hope's Cookies because she knows I will eat ALL of them! I love the Heath Bar Cookies!!! Plus the ice cream- my favorite is the Choc. Chip Ice Cream!

It does a good job of being a different pizza place, but the pizza just isn't that good. There are a whole bunch of different toppings and pizzas you can try, but different variety of bad pizza is still bad pizza.

Some of the best pizza ever! i love the fact that there are so many combos, from mac and cheese, to bbq chicken, buffalo chicken blue cheese, many outstanding veggie combos and there is a salad bar too! reasonably priced as well, but be sure to get there early before they run out! however, they will make a pizza for you if there is someting you want - oh the eggplant is good too as well as the chicken parm. another msut stop - and there's a hope's cookies attached...dinner and dessert in one!

i gotta hand it to them, their pizza is definitely original.... thats as far as my compliments go. the pizza is just not that good, especially when you're in the philly area where there are so many good options of delicous, big floppy, drippy, cheezy italian pizza. if i go here its only for hopes... sorry P a P... your pizza is gross-o and so are your salads.... yes, i'm sorry you're open too...

Great, casual by-the-slice pizza joint. The toppings combinations are original and flavorful - baked eggplant parm, black bean taco, mac 'n cheese - but my favorite will be always be the simple white pizza. Bonus: the restaurant is attached to a Hope's Cookies. Plus, even though it's lame, the glowing "Sorry, We're Open" sign always makes me smirk.
