So, it's been a while since I've gone to Alfredo's. The people seem to be the same. The ovens are the same. But why oh why did I start getting very mediocre pizza??? It's been overcooked, it's been undercooked, it just hasn't been great like it once was. There are just too many other options to go out of my way for average pizza. I won't refuse it, I just won't put them first on my contact list, regardless of their name starting with an A.

Such a great establishment. Always consistent, accommodating with coupons and the customer service is on point. They're always open and have delivery available rain, snow or shine!

DH and I were in the area last week picking up our car from the shop after work so I did a quick search to find a place for takeout. We found Alfredo's. The stars must have been aligned just so because after a few years of hunting for a great pizza in Media we finally found the BEST pizza in Broomall. I'm enough of a pizza aficionado that the drive is no big thing. We got the hot wings, a chicken Italiano sandwich and the pomodorino white pizza. Everything was excellent ...more flavor than the normal pizza/sandwich joint. The wings were perfectly cooked and very meaty, just the right amount of vinegary hotness. The Italiano sandwich was drippy yet very tasty. But the pizza? OMG the pizza! We recently came back from Rome and this white pizza took us right back there. The quality of the crust, the cheese, everything, just awesome. The cheese has that nice pull and tastes so fresh. We loved it so much we went back yesterday. At first I called to see if they delivered to Media. Alas, no. But the owner (yes, it's Alfredo) was so apologetic that he doesn't come out our way that he insisted on giving us a 2L bottle of soda when we got to his place. What? Awesome food and gracious owner? We will be back. Good prices too.

I've driven by this place many many times, thinking nothing of it. But last night I had a stung craving for pizza. Not just pizza but I wanted the big, thin, NY style pizza. So after reading these yelp reviews I decided to call this am for lunch delivery. AMAZING. The Alfredo's special is amazing with lots of fresh veggies, along with meat and pepperoni. The large will feed us for many days! And the soup was amazing - the steak and potato - it was ALL steak and potato - so chunky and delicious. Also I wanted to say - when I called in for delivery - they couldn't have been NICER on the phone. When I've called in to other places, they usually talk real fast and can't wait to drop you before finishing your order. Not at Alfredos! Great service and delivery was uber fast too! Within 30 mins, I had my meal for the family. This is going to be our new dedicated Pizza place for sure! Thanks yelpers for your great reviews!

This is a small family type business which explains the great service and delicious food. I ate there today for the first time. I will be back! This is not a full service sit down establishment so don't go there for that kind of service. They only have 4 or 5 booths. Take out or delivery must be their main trade. We grabbed a booth, and enjoyed great pizza and wings.

Had Alfredo's again Sunday evening. Happy to say this is still 4-star pizza! Alfredo was in this time and added a nice personal touch by calling me Mr. Dan. Thanks Mr. Alfredo, I'll keep coming back if you keep turning out these delicious pizzas.

I've ordered from here a few months ago for the first time and the pizza was really delicious. We had called ahead while out and picked it up on our way home. We all agreed that it was really good pizza and that we would order again. A few months roll by and the super bowl is around the corner. I ordered a couple large pizzas, along with a few dozen wings, some jalapeno poppers and onion rings. I got there a bit early and the workers were just finishing up my order. They noticed me waiting and kept pushing my order so I could leave. It wasn't necessary but I appreciated they great service. My guest couldn't say anything bad about the food and besides ordering too much pizza, everything else was finished. The margherita pizza especially got a lot of praise. Thank you Alfredo's Pizza for doing what you do and for making the on of the best pizzas and foods in the area!

On a whim my wife and stopped in to grab a snack and to use their bathroom...ODR needed a diaper change. We enjoyed two fantastic slices of pizza - the "inside out" slice was simply extrordinary. It's good to be back where pizza rocks, and we stumbled upon this joint by chance. If you're close or in the area, give this dude's za a chance; it rocks! NOTE: It isn't a really posh place- so don't expect to enjoy the ambiance of a refined restaurant, it is a pizza joint-and as such they get my 5-star vote.

I was recently diagnosed as "gluten intolerant" and i was devastated. I mean, I LOVE pizza. What was I supposed to do?? So on a tip from a friend (thanks Julie), I took my lunch break to head over to Alfredo's for some gluten free pizza. I'd never had any before, but I was willing to try it. Even just walking in, they were so nice and helpful. I ordered the gluten free pizza and sat at a table to wait. This wasn't some frozen pizza as some people had predicted to me it would be. I watched the guy carry it out with fresh cheese and sauce and place it in the oven, so that was a good sign. Alfredo brought the pizza over to me and told me to let him know how it was. I fell in love with it immediately. I don't know if you've ever had gluten free bread or anything, but it normally just tastes/smells like rice wine vinegar and personally...I can't stand it. This wasn't anything like it, it was good slightly chewy (i'm going to assume it involved corn flower) but not mealy. Ok, so round 1 was amazing. I have been back twice since because my sister has the same stomach issues as myself and this time I got mine with spinach. It came out with REAL spinach sauteed with pieces of actual garlic on top. My sister got the pepperoni. We're both fans and I predict we'll keep going back for the pizza. Above all else, the staff and Alfredo himself are so incredibly nice it's a pleasure to eat there. Every time I've gone, I've had a pizza cooked specifically for me and I'm still in and out in less than an hour and served by such insanely nice people.

We had the meatballs & garlic bread first. Meatballs & sauce are real good! The owner ( Alfredo) was very nice & appreciative. The two delivery guys & young girl on the register were also nice...and polite. This is unheard of on a "pizza shop"! We also had the pizza which was also excellent. Definitely would go back!

My cousin took me here since I was craving for some cheesesteaks and it was the nearest spot in his neighborhood. I ordered their mushroom steak and it was really good. It was no Pat's or Tony Luke's, but it really hit the spot! I really appreciated their service, especially one day when they actually waited for the fresh rolls to arrive to make sure that my cheesesteak had fresh bread. That's great service! And their meatball pizza is really good too! Next time I come back to Philly, I'm gonna ask my cousin to take me here again!

Hands down the best meatball sammich I've ever had. I couldn't believe how big this thing was. It was pretty much a whole loaf of bread with a row of meatballs and melted cheese. Definitely worth the price, it was only around $7-8.

My wife and I wanted pizza for lunch while doing some last minute Christmas shopping on Christmas Eve. We stopped into Alfredo's and ordered 3 slices of pizza to split between us. The slices were large enough that one was sufficient for a meal - $8.40. The pizza was absolutely delicious. My wife and I both had huge smiles on our faces the whole time because we couldn't believe how good the pizza was. We got a grilled chicken slice and 2 sausage slices. Other restaurant patrons ate steak sandwiches and wings while we were there. The steaks looked hearty and the wings smelled and looked delightful. We'll definitely be back to try those out when we're in town next. In addition to the delicious food, it is worth noting that the owner of Alfredo's is a man with a heart of gold - this was evident from how he treated each customer who walked into the store. You can expect delicious food and you can also expect excellent customer service from an owner who loves people and loves the community that he serves.

Awful. Plenty of other places to order food from that have a more customer friendly staff. First and only time i will ever order from this place. I live just under 3 miles away from this place. One night I ordered 2 large pizzas for my family and they didn't show up. After an hour and fifteen minutes I called to ask if their driver had left and the girl's response was " I am glad you called, we wrote your phone number down wrong so we couldn't get a hold of you to tell you we are not going to deliver your food. We don't deliver that far." I asked her why they took my order in the first place and why they didn't just deliver the pizzas regardless and she responded by telling me it wasn't their mistake. (Please keep in mind...I LIVE 7 MINUTES AWAY.) I voiced my concern to the manager, informing him that my children are now very hungry because he refused to deliver to my house that is under 3 miles away and he told me that he would call me when they were less busy. A BUSINESS WHO DENT PUT THE CUSTOMER FIRST AND TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR MISTAKES MIGHT NOT WANT TO BE ONE THAT HANDLES YOUR FOOD.

This is the best pizza in Broomall. The staff is great - especially Alfredo who, no matter how busy he is, always has a kind word for his customers. For the purists the plain pizza is unbeatable in the area, if you like to try all types of funky junk on your 'za - that's great here too - especially the BBQ chicken. They even make a great stromboli here which is a rarity in Delco pizza shops. Personally I like to make stromboli's myself at home, and when I do I go to Alfredo's for the dough. Alfrerdo's. The best. Eat it.

Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations.
