Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

AVOID THIS PLACE! The "Italian" sub is ONE SUPER THIN slice of ham and 2 thinner slices of salami slices on the worst pizza dough I've ever had to gnaw on, hands down! This guy who says he's from NJ is full of shit. Look at the photos. We also had an eggplant parm sub, which seemed to be green and half rotted zucchini mush on the same crappy dough. I seriously almost puked when I tasted it. I really think I'm going to call the board of health. The owner should be ashamed and hide himself in a cave somewhere, seriously! NO excuse! NOTE TO OWNER: Make a deal with a local bakery to buy high quality Italian bread and put some meat on it! Your profits are in volume and soft drinks, not selling crappy sandwiches no one will buy... and for cryin' out loud, learn to make eggplant parm,, with fresh eggplant, or take that slop off the menu! I would be ashamed to have my name on that place with what you serve!

The sandwiches - oh, sweet lord, the sandwiches. They are insanely good. Freshly baked bread! I'm from New Jersey. I know subs; subs are a way of life where I'm from. So when I tell you that Angelo's in obscure Brookville makes some of the best subs I've ever had, please understand the magnitude of what I'm saying. The subs are offered on the menu as "cold" or "baked". Get them baked.

Stopped at angeles on our way back to pittsburgh, and was pretty happy we did. This place is less than 5 minutes off of route 80. We both had the baked spicy Italian hoagie, and it was really quite good. I recommend adding banana peppers. This is an "order at the counter" place and they bring your food to you. I'm guessing most of their business is takeout/delivery. The buns for the hoagies are fresh baked and they're made from the pizza dough as far as I can tell. While the crust is pretty crispy, it isn't overly so. The bun would easily hold up if you went with a meatball or chicken parm.

They bake fresh pizza dough to use as rolls for their subs. I had the chicken special, which is a crispy chicken sandwich. It was excellent. My wife and kids had a simple cheese pizza. Again, excellent dough, with quite a bit of oregano in the sauce. Nice job guys!

Stopped here on the way back from Michigan to New Jersey. The chicken parm was great and the bread was awesome. The staff was great and let my kids watch as they made pizzas.

I'm a New Yorker, so I know pizza! I stopped in here on a road trip, and ordered the pizza sub. It hit the spot; really great bread and sauce. Plus, the girl behind the counter was super cute - admittedly not really relevant to a Yelp review, but I felt like sharing!

This is my go-to place in Brookville. I can't remember the last time I had their pizza, but I know it's good. What I go for is their subs! Get it baked! Delicious, football shaped sandwiches in their homemade bread. Can't go wrong with the pizza or anything else for that matter, you can watch them toss and make the pizza from your table.

The best pizza and stromboli in town for sure, but what really gropes my goose are the sandwiches. My affinity for them will surely lead to the development of type II diabetes later in life, but when in my golden years as I am reflecting on my time spent shoveling carbohydrates into my face as quickly as possible at Angelo's restaurant, I will have no regrets. Even as my toes are being removed one by one, my eyesight is deteriorating due to years of glucose build up in the capillaries, and my kidneys are limping to life's finish line, I will still be eating Angelo's subs because they are that good. I keep a rotation heavy on the turkey, spicy Italian, and cheese steak deluxe. I generally try to avoid ordering an extra side of bread and sauce, but I admit that my will is weak and I often succumb to the primal urges that come hot and heavy when I'm thinking about that sweet, sweet Angelo's bread. But hey, this is just my opinion. Maybe you're the type of person who'd prefer to take the advice of some hick slap from Big Run (population 686) who thinks the board of health cares whether or not he liked his sandwich. Maybe you're the type of person who would rather follow the lead of a guy who will make "NOTE TO OWNER" posts on Yelp instead of just talking to the owner while you were in his shop standing next to him. Maybe you are the type of person who gets so offended by sandwiches that you use CAPS LOCK!!! AND EXCLAMATION POINTS!!! all over a restaurant review site. If that is the case, Angelo's is probably not for you, so kindly retreat back to your shanty where you can continue authoring malicious diatribes against great food and great people without exposing the rest of society to your ignorance. If you are not that type of person, I'd recommend the Spicy Italian (baked, duh) with LTO, oil & vinegar, and maybe an extra bread and sauce for later.

I'm a self proclaimed NY pizza snob, and I can tell you Angelo's is the absolute best west of Hoboken! Great crust and seasonings, great service. Highly recommend!

They have great pizza and french fries! And are very nice people.

Gollll-ly. Can't speak to the quality of the pie, but those sandwiches are crazy good. Must be that bread. Don't know what it is or where they get it, but that's the best sandwich bread in history. Can't beat one of Angelo's Italian subs.

A favorite when we're in town for pizza and sandwiches! The secret to the sandwich bread and pizza dough is that they make it themselves. Definitely the best local pizza around.
