I grew up in nj and there was a small Italian sandwich shop that made the best Steak sandwiches . Now this place is actually better by far !

I moved away from the Philadelphia area last year and was visiting family for the holidays. I just NEEDED to satisfy my cheesesteak cravings and found this place on Yelp. I have to say Laspada's did the trick! I called ahead and arrived about 10 minutes after I called, and had to wait another 5-10 for them to be done. I spent about $28 on 3 cheesesteaks (mini, regular, and large) and a large bag of chips. I wish I could tell you the price of each but I did not keep the receipt. They have provolone, sharp provolone, and american cheeses available. They were not the best cheesesteaks I've ever had, but they were pretty darn good!

We travel 50 minutes roundtrip at least once per week to get LaSpada's for takeout. These are BY FAR, hand's down, the BEST hoagies in the Philly area. They NEED to be featured on Food Network for their work. This is a hidden gem that deserves more wide-scale recognition for what they do with a Philly classic. The big names in the city are not all there is to Philly, and it's time Food Network recognized the phenomenal stuff going on in the 'burbs! To start, LaSpada's is extremely generous with their meat and cheese. They pile it on and I often eat some of the meat off of it before I can bite into it, they are that generous. The onions/lettuce/tomatoes/peppers/etc. are always evenly disbursed so you get diversity in every bite. Again, they are so generous with the veg elements I often have to pull 1/3 to 1/2 of them off and give them to my husband because there are so many. Basically, I could probably make 2 hoagies from another place with the ingredients in a LaSpada's hoagie. Also, the architecture of the hoagie (mayo, cheese, veggies, seasoning, meat) is a lot easier to eat, and does a lot more for taste than other local places who imitate Subway and put their skimpy slices of meat and cheese on the bottom, followed by meagre slices of toms, onions and peppers, and then pile it high with iceberg that looks like it's been through s shredder and then laden with oregano that seeps into all the water from the iceberg and makes for a strange taste. LaSpada's has put a lot of thought and effort into getting it right and making your mouth HAPPY! Decades ago, my grandfather would stop at LaSpada's for family takeout each week. My dad did the same for us in his day. Now my husband and I live 25 minutes away, but we still frequent LaSpada's because it's that good! The BEST hoagies in the Phila area for my 30+ years' experience (and the 2 generations of local hoagie-eaters before me). My husband works in S. Philly and gets the serious official S.Phil dish on all the hotspots for the "best" steaks, pork sandwiches, and hoagies in the city. (To give you an idea, you mention a bakery name around the water cooler and threats are made at anyone who doesn't agree on whose rolls are the best.) There are nonstop heated debates over hard or soft rolls, etc. They decide special occasion banquets by the hoagie rolls, seriously, or no one will show up. So we've been to the best of the best of Philly hoagie and steak places, and this is hands down my favorite. LaSpada's cannot be beat. LOVE you guys!!!!

I use to go to Laspada's every time I would visit my grandmother in Swathmore, PA. This is the best cheese steak I have had outside of Philadelphia. The steak is mixed perfectly with onions and cheese and comes on a tasty hoagie. I would also recommend grabbing a bag of Herr's potato chips.

Best cheesesteak I've had over here. And guess what? No long a$$ tourist-packed lines or a battle to find a parking spot. Got a provolone steak with all the peppers they offer. Perfect for Sunday hangover recovery meal. Steak is buttery and tastes REAL because it isn't that frozen crap. Will definitely order take out from them consistently. Fries are fat and tasty too.

Sandwiches are some of the best in delco. I work only five minutes from this place. It's located in a strip mall, and the sign reads. Original real big. With a tiny laspadas in the corner. We jokingly call this place Originals due to this. Just an ongoing joke. That's all. But plenty of parking , quick friendly service, and top quality sandwiches. They also use real Kraft cheese whiz. Check it out. Great spot

So I tried to order lunch from Laspada's today. I tried to order they mini lunch combo through grubhub. I understand when your online ordering system and actual store ordering does not match up.Apparently they do not have the mini combo on sunday. But there is not need to be rude. All I wanted to know is what is the difference in price for my order. If it was 13.75, what is the total now. Not what it might be, or what it could be, an actual price, please. And the rude young lady I talked to, I understand your frustration, I didn't understand what the big deal was either. But you cost your company my business. I will continue to order from Pat's from now on. At the very least I don't have to deal with such horrible customer service.
