Wow! I wish I could give less of a rating. My fiancee and I had dinner. I got the beef on weck witch is a staple for this area. The roll was so soggy I could read the Bradford era through it. I got a bottomless cup of coffee witch I never got a refill I had even pushed it to the edge of the table for a hint..... she had the fish sandwich it was a dried out pice of frozen fish but they claim it's fresh... skip this stop if you come to town!!!

Grew up eating here. It will always be my favorite restaurant. The Texas Hots, fries and gravy, chopped sirloin, chicken tender sandwiches, tossed salads and pancakes are excellent.

Stopped by for dinner one night because we already hit all of the recommended restaurants in town. Just wasn't impressed. The meat loaf was gelatinous and flavorless. The coffee was weak at best and the gravy was pretty salty. The fries were pretty good and the place was very inexpensive. I guess you do get what you pay for.

Done breakfast here a few times passing through. Highly recommended the platter special. You will leave stuffed! Never been here at other times so I can't vouch for other reviews.

You won't leave hungry. The reviews are right, the pancakes are good and they're huge. I had the breakfast special, 3 eggs, choice of meat, home fries, toast and a drink for $4.99. The good was okay, but you can't beat the price.

The pancakes! Not enough can be said about the pancakes at this joint. Amazing, buttermilk goodness. And generously portioned! Love.

The Lighthouse serves up an excellent breakfast. I usually get eggs w/crispy bacon and my hubby and his mom get pancakes w/crispy bacon- both served with a smile and as ordered. This place has plenty of room for your whole family! Special Note: Cheap local honey for sale at the counter!
