Good, but not worthy of five stars. Friendly service. Dining companion liked food and coffee more than I did. I found coffee to be weak and fried potatoes tasted of oil used to fry other things.

It used to be a great place to go to. Not sure what happened to this family friendly restaurant. I sat at the counter, and ordered a half sandwich and substituted chips for fries. They charged me for a full order or tasteless fries. Waitress never refilled my coffee, and never came back to see if I needed anything at all. It was really hard to even pay my bill. This is the last time I'll be coming here.

To describe this place in one word? Solid. If unspectacular, definitely solid. Nothing really wrong with the place but nothing special either. The food isn't bad, the service is pretty good, the portion sizes are fairly large. A good breakfast if your running errands in the area but not worth going out of your way for.

Completely over this place. Terrible service (most days they have one busser - and New Year's Day they had not one). Poor management. Dirty ambiance. Food is decent and affordable, but the poor management of this place will leave you sitting at tables without service (the waitresses are spread too thin) for a long time. Do yourself a favor and try Pumpernicks or any other diner.

Food and service were good, but didn't blow me away. As other reviews stated, coffee was just OK. I got the eggs benedict, once again, good not great. They really missed the mark on the harsh browns. Some of the potatoes were still not cooked through and I asked for fried onions w them and all they did was put the onions over the potatoes over the top. I thought they would have cooked everything together.... Fail... Bottom line, I will most likely go to another diner next time.

Went here today for lunch with my husband and 2 young kids. Can't tell you how the food was we didn't get to the order part. When we just got there, I was trying to get a high chair for my one year old, the waitress I asked about it was very rude, she told me you gonna have to wait. And we waited for good 10 min, when she finally noticed us standing by the table, since the little one wouldn't let us sit. So she asked someone else to bring us the chair, saying (again in a very rude and loud way so everyone could hear) I just had a surgery. And after we sat again waiting. We didn't have menus, no one talked to us for another 10 min. My kids start to get impatient, so I went to look for someone, trying to avoid that lady. So finally I found the same guy who got us a high chair, he was very nice and immediately went to get us the menus, but by then my husband was too annoyed and upset to stay there, he got up took the kids and left. We went down the road to a diner and had great service. Won't be back to that rude horrible place.

I've tried Tigers II a few more times since my first review. Unfortunately, each time was met with incredibly slow service. Also, beware when ordering atypical diner food. I was served a salad with rancid sunflower seeds on it. Yuk. I'm not sure why it's impossible to run a decent diner in the Plymouth/Blue Bell area. Sadly, the most consistent is probably IHOP.

Went here yesterday with my family for breakfast. We ordered a variety of food - omelettes, pancakes and waffles. My country omelette was hearty and tasty. We had side orders of bacon and they cook it the way I like it - crispy! The waffles and pancakes were a hit with everyone. The service was prompt and attentive. For the money, I find this place to be a really good place for grabbing breakfast.

Don't go here if you have children. Food was fine but not a family friendly atmosphere at all. Actually got turned down for service from one nasty waitress and she passed us off to someone else before even sitting down. Our actual waitress was very nice but our experience was already ruined. We have one 18 month old and felt very out of place. Go somewhere else!

Went here for breakfast with my college buddy with whom I was visiting. Eggs over medium, wheat toast, home fries, and strong coffee. But what made this breakfast over the top (and 4-star worthy) was THE SCRAPPLE. I scarfed down this elusive, mythical (like a unicorn), and legendary breakfast meat that can be found only in the commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Can't find this stuff in Jersey. Scrapple is basically rendered-byproduct meats and organs from a pig. Trust me, it taste better than it sounds.

Lunch places, hear Tiger's II roar! This awesomely-named spot is a delicious detour no matter where you're heading. There's plenty of parking, and plenty of seating. Service is swell - thanks Trudy - and so is the food: For breakfast, the Tiger's Special (two eggs, home fries, toast, and your choice of meat) will keep you fed for hours on the cheap. I'll be back for the eggs benedict I keep hearing about...

I was looking for an awesome breakfast place near blue bell. Well i went there and waited 5 minutes to be seated. Mind you 5 minutes see longer when other diners are just looking at u while eating. Then we had this young brunette girl as our waitress, who was nice in the beginning. But she never stopped by to check on us. We waited forevrr just to get refills on our coffee, our check... I think we just ended up grabbing the napkins from the corner where they had the supplies. It wasnt even that busy. She went by us like 5 times attendjng to others. On top of that she dropped the check off while were in the middle of eating- which ok fine ill deal with it. We placed our card over the receipt and waited not knowing we had to bring it over to the cashier. She walked by us numerous times and i saw her looking at the card and never told us we had to take it up. Wtf. She was the worst ever. The food is okay but the service made the whole exp so bad. Next time im going somewhere else that may have the same quality of food but better service!

I went to Tiger's ll for breakfast with a friend of mine. We sat down right away and the lady was very nice. We got our order in a good pace and the food came out in a good time. I got 2 eggs crambled and homefries. The eggs were great but the homefries were burnted and not alot of potato. But I would go back there anytime with my friend or my family.

This place was a let down. After reading all the previous positive reviews I was excited to hopefully find a new place for breakfast and unfortunately I don't think I will be back. One word that sums of my visit for this place is SLOW! You walk in and seat yourself but when they are packed you are awkwardly staring at everyone waiting for someone to get up from their table so you can take it. We expected it to be busy since we went on the weekend but the slow service we received was just ridiculous. When we first sat down we had to grab our own menus from another table that wasn't using them. It took at least 10-15 minutes for our waitress to greet us and ask what we wanted to drink and by then we knew what we wanted to eat at the same time. We waited almost an HOUR for our food to come out!!!!!!!! For breakfast food for two people that is insane!!! I had french toast and my boyfriend had an omelet. Everyone around us was having the same problems and all had said the same thing, the wait was unacceptable. I don't know if this was an off day and someone called out of work for a sunday shift but it was just ridiculous. No sign of an owner around to even tell them how unhappy we were. As far as the food it was just Okay. The whole waiting an hour for breakfast food just put a bad taste in my mouth and even if it was amazing food I would not come back.

It's not just good but its good enough. Standard breakfast fare, but nothing to write home about. Definitely a good price for what you get. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the breakfast hits the spot for the right price.

Where do I begin??? Went on Sunday morning for breakfast. My Wife and I + two young kids. Joint was packed, but no hostess to seat you. Self serve seating... Not a good sign. Found a table and asked for high chair... 4X. Non-English speaking Busser #1 finally brought one... Buckle was broken. Again self-served to find one that works. Busser #1 asked if we wanted coffee, but couldn't understand the additional request for a cup of ice. Waitress intervened. Delivered coffee, but nothing for the kids. Waitress took orders and the wait started.... 20 minutes in, finally brought kids drinks. At 30 minutes kids were getting antsy so I went next door to Joanne's Donuts and bought a snack. ($0.50 for six donut holes. Best money spent thus far.) 40 minutes need a coffee refill... 50 minutes refill delivered. 60 minutes and food finally showed up. My omelet was fine. Nothing to write home about. Wife's had one (bad luck), two (food going back) black hairs in it. 70 minutes in, more napkins requested from Busser #2 (Never delivered.) 75 minutes, bad omelet taken off the bill (by management). Not like we were going to pay for it anyway. 80 minutes in packed up and ran back to the Donut shop for a Strawberry Cream Powdered Donut for $0.90. (Second best money spent this morning.) Will we be back? No habla Ingles.

Never really noticed this diner just a few miles away, but we swung by today for breakfast and the food was excellent. Nothing fancy, but just your standard diner fare done very well. I had an omelette with mushrooms, tomato, and cheddar cheese -- it was cooked perfectly, meaning not overdone (eggs just set, instead of browned) and very tender. Home fries were very crispy, not at all greasy, and I got a very good bagel instead of toast. My gf got wheat toast and she was very pleased that it was not soggy like most diner toast (she also got, and enjoyed, an omelette). Another plus: Sriracha on the table. The coffee was good but not dynamite. Waitress was cheerful and food came quickly, though we didn't get offers of coffee refill until well after we were finished eating (in fairness the place was packed and our server busy, so no bigs). Ambience is pretty much standard diner -- not dirty but sorta drab, but who cares, you probably dont come here for the vibe. We'll very likely be back semi-regularly, especially when we don't feel like driving into the city for a somewhat fancier brunch and whatnot.

Very tasty breakfast for reasonable prices. We got orange juice, 2 of the Tiger specials (choice of meat, eggs, toast, and hash browns) for $6.99 each. We also tried their French toast made from Texas toast for $3.99. Everything was very tasty. They were pretty busy on Sunday morning but we only had to wait a few minutes for our table. They had lots of servers/bus boys running around so we didn't wait too long.

We have spent 4 years in Norristown/Plymouth Meeting/Blue Bell looking for a great diner and been sorely disappointed. I'm so glad we finally tried Tigers II (right in the tiny parking lot with Sushikazu and Rita's on the corner of Skippack Pike and 202)! Tigers II is only open for breakfast and lunch, which is a shame because we'd eat dinner there weekly if it were open.. We have yet to order anything that wasn't excellent. The pumpkin pancakes with nuts are delicious, as are the veggie burgers (roughly chopped homemade style, lightly fried). Next time you wake up on a Saturday wishing for a great egg sandwich, grilled cheese, or grilled sticky bun, head over to Tigers II.

DH woke up Sunday with a craving for "diner breakfast." It was Father's day, and I'm mighty fond of crispy fried potatoes myself, so who was I to deny him? A half hour later, we were settling in to a booth at Tiger's. No wait, even with the holiday; the place was busy, but not packed. Tigers does diner right. In fact, they do Mom and Pop they way you want Mom and Pop to be. When people speak of it as something nostalgic and desired; not as kitsch, but as clean, comfy, fresh and good.... this is what they mean. From the laminate ad-top tables, to the glass brick, to the lunch counter check out with assorted candy, local newspapers, Kiwanis Club mints, and whirling ceiling fans. I must have missed the rotating pies; but I'm confident they were lurking around somewhere. A "good" diner experience, just cannot be replicated in the corporate sphere; no matter how many prefabricated tchotkes get hung on the wall. My omelet (egg substitute with goat cheese, spinach and fried onions) was fluffy and came with crunchy hash-browns and rye toast. The Hubs and the Kid had French Toast (thick, not too eggy and with a hint of cinnamon) and split a fruit cup. They serve syrup in squeeze bottles, which got major points from me as those little pitchers are perpetually sticky and have a high *ick* factor. The only *meh* moment was the coffee. I've had institutional coffee, this was gov't issue coffee concentrate all the way. I'm subtracting a star because, hey; diners NEED good coffee. It's in the manual. A note to parents of small children: highchairs are available, but no "entertainment" is. (crayons...etc). Pack some, or be prepared to make jelly packet towers.

Friend and I stopped by here for food once. It was a great deal! This family owned eatery makes their burgers FRESH. I mean really fresh. I could taste the juiciness of the beef. The price is hard to beat! Come give it a shot. It will only set you back ~$5.

The wife and I were conflicted about where to go to lunch, so we tried out Tigers II today. Both of us decided to order off the breakfast menu. The menu offered a lot of good options and I was looking forward to our order. I ended up going with the Ultimate which is 2 eggs, 2 bacon,2 sausage, 2 pancakes and 2 french toast. The plate looked great when it arrived at our table, however the first bite of egg had more butter than actual egg. The meats seemed to also be cooked with a lot of oil, butter or both which in my opinion is not really needed for bacon. The french toast was bland and the pancakes were overcooked. I was honeslty dissapointed after hearing the rave reviews from others about their breakfast food. Maybe it was the time of day, or just the cook today, but its going to take some convincing for me to try Tigers II again in the near future.

Tucked away in a bit of a random strip center you will find Tiger' II--dont miss this one because you'll be VERY sorry! My wife and I have been living around the corner for well over a year and are quite upset that we did not find it sooner! Sure, Tiger's II is your garden variety local breakfast/lunch joint...but there aren't any of others in the neighborhood that compare! Good food, decent service at a reasonable price. They take credit cards have ample seating and parking. As others have already commented on the breakfast fare, I won't rehash. However, I would be remiss if I failed to mention the quality of their lunch dishes. Tuna: excellent, not too dry and not too wet. Their subs are great (rolls from Conchi bakery), triple decker sandwiches are also swell--pun intended. Don't hold the fries here! They are thin and crispy; remind me of that place with the golden arches. Staff is all family or friends of the family and most diners are regulars which makes for a nice atmosphere--the 'everybody knows your name' rings true at Tiger's two.

Tucked behind El Sarape restaurant on Rt. 73, you have to spot Tigers II from 202 - or when standing in line at Rita's Water Ice - but worth the search, if you haven't visited it yet. The service is quick, friendly and provides the right amount of attention you want when scarfing down a breakfast (keep topping off the coffee cup!). The food is good, portions generous and the simplest of fare, i.e. eggs over easy, hash browns, bacon and toast are cooked and seasoned just right. Nothing to knock your socks off - no 'eggs-travaganza' items, just good, solid food, served well. Really, what more can you ask for?? In Blue Bell, it just doesn't get any better for a breakfast spot - unless you're being served in bed at home!

This is a good diner spot. The menu is creative. The food and service were very good. It was pretty tight and crowded and the actual building is not that great, but worth the trip for a good, low cost meal.

Creamed chipped beef on rye and eggs over easy for me. Spinach/goat cheese/olive omelette fo' the DC. Coffee, of course. The place was pretty busy, but service wasn't bad- except for getting a refill on coffee, which is a dangerous place for a breakfast joint to slip up... The place is much bigger inside than it appears to be on the exterior. Primary decoration is charcoal drawings of celebrities, some of remarkably good likeness. It's on the short list of breakfast spots now. It's a shame we didn't go sooner.

Found ourselves hungry and looking for somewhere to eat after Ikea. Tigers came up on my phone and sounded like a winner. Thanks again yelp app for android. Went there for breakfast and it was delicious. Tons of menu items to choose from. Fantastic build your own omlettes,eggs benedict. Was really good but i was hoping for a version with crab meat. No such luck. Staff was friendly and attentive.

I am obsessed with Eggs Benedict. If I go to breakfast anywhere, I ALWAYS order it. Tiger's II has the BEST EGGS BENEDICT. The best. Perfectly poached egg and a wonderfully buttery hollandaise sauce. The bacon is really good too - I think it's how they make it. It looks like picture perfect BACON on your plate - not all weirdly shaped and super greasy like you get at most breakfast joints. Everything we have ever ordered here has been superb. This is our favorite neighborhood breakfast place.

First off, I'm a certified personal trainer. I've been scouring this area to find a place where I can eat a decent healthy YET tasty breakfast on the weekends. Well, I finally found it! If you want to be a glutton and have your pancakes or waffles, hey they have all of the normal breakfast foods. But what I love about this place is that they have some really amazing non-standard options. For example, I had an omelet that was on special, it had bacon, onions, sun-dried tomatoes, and feta cheese. It was fantastic, great taste, light, and not a calorie waste-land like most greasy restaurant omelets! Plus as a side dish, they have a fruit bowl that's really amazing, because they didn't simply open up a can, each fruit was fresh, it had strawberry, grapes, kiwi, watermelon, cantaloupe, and honey dew. This place is high-quality food, reasonable price, and friendly service. It's my new favorite spot on the weekend!
