Delicious food though some may not appreciate the shortness of the list. Very thoughtful appetizers and entrees that pair well with the drink menu. The differences between the gin and vodka are succinctly demonstrated in the Social Gimlet. The vodka variation had a clean taste, that though delicious, was not challenging to the palate. The gin variation on the other hand challenged one to identify the various layers of lime and infused gin, that make up this delicious signature drink. Herbalist was a refreshing combination of cucumber and rosemary. And the Raspberry Robbery was a pleasant and tasty end to the evening in lieu of a desert menu. All and all, a delicious dinner in an atmospheric building with tons of architectural features to keep any conversation going!

Amazing place with amazing drinks! The cheese plate is definitely a must!

Good: Ordered a simple vodka tonic, which was excellent. Service was friendly. Meh: Ambiance/vibes inside felt a little stiff. Also, their hours are pretty sad for a place with such a heavy bar slant (8pm on weekdays, 10pm on Fridays and Saturdays). Hopefully they plan to stay open later after they're more established.

A must visit if you like craft cocktails. The gin is definitely superior to the vodka. The hopper was my personal favorite. A very dangerous drink indeed. The tapas menu is small but adequate. Food was above average. Decor is stark and it's a bit bright on the main floor but they do have a second floor lounge area where you can kick back out of the sun a bit. They are bringing rum on board as well in the near future. SS is the best new happy hour destination in the valley, hands down. A great place for groups and couples to grab a drink and snack pre dinner. Prices are reasonable, wait staff is attentive. Very nice addition to the valley cocktail scene, no whiskey, no beer.

This is a really good place if you are just going out for drinks and tapas/apps. We went there for dinner, and it really isn't a dinner place. Don't get me wrong, there are a bunch of fancy drinks and the food was really good, but as someone who was hungry for food, it wasn't really for me. We got the rustic Flatbread and it was delicious. But for 10 bucks and it's size, it isn't really a good meal place. And unfortunately I'm not really a cocktails and tapas type person. But if you are, this is an awesome place.

If they had half stars I would rate the Social Still a 4 1/2. We visited here during greater Bethlehem restaurant week and we ordered off of the price fix menu. They started with a cocktail, main dish and then a dessert. Sorry I can't remember the full name of the drink I had but sassy was in the title and it was made with vodka and Jalapenos and it was very good. Two people in our party tried the sampler which was of their own vodka and gin. I liked the vodka as that was all I tasted. I'm not a gin fan so your on your own with that. Don't go here if you are looking for a full meal. What I mean by this is they have tasty bites. This is a good place to meet up with friends and have some drinks and a few snacks. On their website they do not list their menu so you wouldn't be able to come to that conclusion. Needless to say I came home still hungry after our visit and I'm not a big eater and usually bring home half of my meal so that for what it's worth. Our service was excellent!!! They had staff checking in on us quite often and they had no problem taking care of our requests. We were never told "Oh, I'll let your server know." They worked very well as a team and everyone was doing what they needed to do and that was taking care of the customers. The only thing I would complain about is how long it took for the food to come out. We were there for 2 hours+ and we had a several drinks, two each and then our main dish which was 2 flat breads and 2 tuna tar tar and then 2 cheese cakes and 2 cannolis. Keep in mind this is a very small place so there wasn't a ton of tables but, all of the tables were full. We were out with friends so it's not like we were in a hurry but something to keep in mind if you are on a fixed time schedule. Our main dishes were very good and everyone was happy :-) Also the noise level is pretty loud as it is a small place......

Five stars for a small function we held there in mid July. About 25 of us were upstairs for drinks and small plates. Four drinks were featured and all were tasty and prepared with care. Small plates were down right delicious. Olive tapenade and hummus were right out of heaven. Anti-pasta meats and cheeses were super delicious. Service was top notch and overall, we had s great event. We were in the upstairs loft which has a nice view of the bar below and of 3rd street outside. Great addition to the city and the neighborhood.

I have been remiss in updating this review. Still my favorite place in the Lehigh Valley. The menu of cocktails and food has grown. They now are making their own vodka, gin, rum, and have whiskey aging in barrels. I've had the tour a few times :) They also had (and will have again) barrel aged gin which drinks more like scotch and is delicious just over ice. For food, I have a hard time not ordering the tuna martini when I am there. I could eat that every day. They also do events with other local business, so when Full of Crepe is there you can have their crepes with Social Still's cocktails. Tough to beat that. The mixologists are all extremely friendly and make wonderful cocktails. My wife and friends and I like to sit around the corner of the bar and chat and drink and always enjoy Social Still.

I really wanted to like social still. I love their aesthetic and what they are trying to do with homemade liqueurs---which are pretty good by them-self, but, there were some issues. First, the food was mehhh. I got a flat bread, it tasted like it could have come from a fast food place. Not bad, just blasé. Then the $10 cocktails. Once again not bad, but nothing special or worth the mark up. The old bank building is great and the interior is nice, though the acoustics are tough---they definitely need some sound dampening panels. Overall lots of flash, but too little bang. Id be back if my friends were going out, but it wouldn't be my first choice.

Fantastic spot. Great atmosphere inside. For someone who generally only drinks wine and neat scotch, I tried 3 different of their specialty cocktails and they were all unique and incredibly good. If you think its just because I don't know cocktails, the rest in my party are more experienced cocktail drinkers and really enjoyed their drinks. The menu was very limited but great. We split the ham panini, hummus plate, cheese plate, and tuna. Every one was great. I wasn't going for the food, but I would. We spent some time talking with the founder Adam (hopefully I remembered that right). Great guy - really has a vision to be a part of the community. And, pick up a bottle to bring home. I can't wait to try their whiskey (maybe in the spring or summer)

We cam in for dinner around 6:30 on a Saturday and were seated promptly. They do not take reservations, but I was told on the phone that most people do not need to wait more than 20 minutes and this appeared to be true for those that came after us. The cocktails were unique and well made with infusions of the vodka and gin made on premises. The still, which is behind the bar, was set-up and lit in the same way that the nearby steel stacks are, which I thought was a very cool touch. The food was fantastic, we were there for restaurant week and chose that menu. I had the Southside revival, the Braised & Blue Flat Bread, and the cheesecake. All delicious. I also had the gimlet, which was one of the best I have ever had. You can buy bottles of their spirits to take home, and you can actually enjoy your meal in the bank vault. Things that you should know going in: They have their own parking lot, which is a treasure on the south side. Since it's in an old bank sound echos, if you can't deal with a lot of background noise, you may not enjoy your experience. The menu is very limited, but every single thing on it is fantastic. Make sure you have a designated driver, the cocktails are not watered down. Social Still is definitely going to the top of my list for nights out!

Fantastic drinks, good music (I was not there for live music, just what they had on the speaker system), friendly service, nice atmosphere. Only con is that the food menu is tiny, but maybe that will grow with time.

This is a decent little business which I hope is able to get off the ground. My brother and I visited this past Sunday. I think they have been open less than a week at this point. I ordered "The Herbalist" which was a gin/ herb cocktail. My brother, who is more a Miller Lite kind of guy ordered the "Raspberry Robbery" which was a fruitier vodka drink. It was worth the trip just to see him drink that pink girly drink, lol. Out of our two drinks, I think his was the better choice. The menu said it contained egg whites, which sounded gross, but turned out to be totally fine. We sat at the bar, given that there was pretty much no one else with us in the bar, and we had a great view of the distilling equipment. There was also a pretty neat area where it looked as if you could sit inside the former bank vault. My one criticism would be that some of the furniture looked a little lawn furniture / patio-esque and not all that comfortable. The waitstaff / bartenders were awesome and super excited to share info on drinks and their product. One bartender mentioned that brewing beer may also be in the future if the place takes off - very cool!

We really wanted to try this establishment since from the exterior it looked very nice & something that we expected to have good drink & food. Horrible mojito with extremely tiny chopped leaves that we had to let settle to the bottom. It also had a lot of spoiled brown leaves. Food was tasteless. Not impressed at all & definitely not going there again!

What a great place. As you can guess, all of the drinks feature the gin and vodka made in the distillery. ATMOSPHERE: It's an old bank that has some new life! The group I was with had the pleasure of sitting in the banks vault which still has the cage inside of it (neat touch). Trendy looking place. DRINKS (and such): They have a drink list of about 12 named drinks, a few non alcoholic ones, and I imagine you can get their gin and vodka mixed with one other thing (et al...you vodka and cranberry juice people....I imagine they could do that). Loved the Southside and the Herbalist on the mixed drink side. They serve small plates if you are hungry....about 6-7 appetizer sized items. Didn't indulge this time, but in the future for sure. SERVICE: EXCELLENT!!! The server was incredibly knowledgable and knew the ins and outs of the place (you'd have no idea that they just opened....she seemed very seasoned). I don't know the owners, and I'm not necessarily a gin / vodka person....but I do know I liked the place, and the drink was very very good (refreshing as weird as that might sound......you wouldn't think so being alcohol and the like...but that is the best way to describe it). Go here......just for one if not indulging (or two or three if you have a driver)...and I don't think you'll be disappointed. You certainly can taste the gin and vodka.

My favorite place for a cocktail. Hands down. I've never ordered fewer than 3 in a visit, determined to work my way through their ever changing menu. They are THAT good.

Been here twice for drinks with friends. The atmosphere is great inside. Situated in a former bank, the high vaulted ceiling, two story windows and huge glass display of the distilling equipment define the space. Plenty of room on the main floor and second floor seating areas for groups, large and small. During my first visit, we were seated in the vault, which is an experience. Not being a fan of Vodka or Gin, I was pleasantly surprised by the drinks I chose (Raspberry Robbery and Crazy Mary). My wife had a drink with pepper infused vodka and much to my surprise, it tasted great. I sampled the vodka by itself, and while it wasn't the best I've had, I understand it's a work in progress. The menu is pretty limited, featuring some smaller appetizers, so don't come here with an empty stomach. I didn't eat anything, but friends said what they tried was good. I'm curious as to how long it will be before distillation of whiskey and rum, which are liquors I prefer. It's also interesting that another distillery is opening just down the road in the near future. It's great to see businesses like Social Still taking advantage of the redevelopment of South Bethlehem.

Went on a Thursday night with my husband to have a couple drinks before going to the sands. We ordered the social gimlet with gin and the jalapeño heist. Highly recommend the heist, sweet with a spicy finish. Like nothing I ever had! The social gimlet was infused with basil - unfortunately I didn't taste much basil and it had small pieces of basil that clogged the straw. Tab for two drinks was $24, seems steep but the drinks were worth it in flavor and alcohol content. The atmosphere was relaxing and the service was great. Lindsey was very inviting and friendly. I would recommend this place for a drink after work or on your way for a night out. I was surprised they close so early. Check out the satellite Franklin hills wine shop inside, great addition to take home a couple bottles on your way out.
