(If you've been reading reviews I've written, you're probably thinking..."Another Filipino restaurant reviewed by this girl?!" Um,sorry.) It's quite a challenge to look for this place, but once you get there you'll be glad you found it! On a pre-Christmas trip to Bethlehem my family decided to eat here for lunch. This restaurant serves delicious Filipino food at affordable prices. I ordered the BBQ (my go-to order) and it was flavorful, the skewered meat was practically drenched (in a good way) with sauce that had the right combination of sweet and spicy. My mom had the dinuguan, which she claimed was on the sour side. I guess they added vinegar,or lemon to give the entree (stew with chunks or pork in its own blood) a bit of a kick. I'm guessing this restaurant used to be a Quiznos based on the set-up and the hanging signs by the counter. However, the owners/managers did a pretty good job of giving the place some Filipino touches, with posters of the Philippine map and national landmarks. That gave me something to glance at from time to time. They have a mini grocery,as most Filipino restaurants do. We bought two packages of ensaymada. Of course,I also ordered bibingka (my other usual order) to-go. The next day, back on Long Island-I ate my edible souvenirs from Bethlehem's Pinoy Kitchen...and had some regret we didn't order more of those. The bibingka was pretty phenomenal as was the ensaymada. Again,it's a place to easily pass by,and its size is quite decent, but if you're in the mood for good Filipino food and you happen to be around the humble town of Bethlehem...I highly recommend Pinoy Kitchen and Grill!

Very good. I wanted to get my Filipino fix and it definitely got the job done! The owners were very nice!

This little jewel is tucked away next to WaWa, but they serve traditional Filipino food, if you've never tried it give it a shot! You'll be pleasantly surprised!

Drove an hour to get here. I came early in the ni afternoon on a weekday. The place is simply decorated with food posters and combo offerings. The food despite the limited selections by the time I got there, the flavor however was spot on in the authenticity of filipino food. If you're not familiar with the area like I was, it is a place that is easy to miss. Thank goodness for the wawa next to it. The empty shelves intended for some grocery items are an eyesore. Either get rid of it or fill it up, just an observation. The food however was worth the drive. A couple of customers came in for their bbq skewers but they were out unfortunately, but the owners gladly accommodated the customers' needs and fired up the grill willingly and with a genuine smile; a testament to filipino hospitality. Kudos!

Food is great. My favorite is the barbeque and sisig. Also their business times have changed. They are open on Monday-Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and closed on Sundays

Great service. Just like being at home at lola's. Cooking is Kapangpangan . Best I have had in awhile.

Nice Filipino place (a first for the area). TV tuned to Tagalog broadcast all day. All pre-cooked food. Competition will be brutal as Mi Chong's Chinese, and Pasta Rio share the same strip mall, and Schoenersville Centre across the street has Starbucks, Dickey's Barbecue, Saladwoks, and Moe's Southwest Grill (soon).

I just moved to Easton months ago and friends brought me to this restaurant. They have really good food, lots to choose from and very affordable. I also like the idea of "turo turo" style, which makes the experience an authetentic filipino dining. Owners and staff are very accomodating and kind too. Lechon kawali and pork bbq are one of my fav. Their leche flan is superb. If you are from around the area you don't have to drive all the way to Jersey or Queens NY just to get good pinoy food, this is the place to go if your from this part of PA.

I stumbled upon this gem! Filipino food is my fave, so what a pleasant surprise. the location is away from the main road behind Wawa. We walked over from the nearby hotel. it is interesting to see that in typical fashion, food was displayed like cafeteria style, the food looked fresh and it sure tasted fresh. I went for the easy pickings like the chicken adobo and other delightful dishes. it was just like home cooking. great place... hope it is still here when I make another visit to the Bethlehem, PA area.

Great place with authentic filipino cuisine. We were expecting more people but it was empty. It wasn't bad though, I liked the privacy. They were helpful and we are impressed with the young boy taking our orders. He explained some of the pinoy dishes to my husband, they're efficient. While waiting for our order, we looked around in their mini grocery and it was nice seeing familiar brands. The place was clean and comfortable, Highly Recommended!

Yet another fantastic addition to the Lehigh Valley food scene. Located at a little strip mall along with Mi Chong's chinese restaurant. For those who have never tried Filipino food, you MUST give this place a try. I have never eaten in but I have taken out 5-6 times and each time I was a very happy puppy. Filipino food is different from the more common chinese and thai cuisine. The food is characterized by a beautiful marriage of sweet, sour and salty sauces and delectable meats. I usually get their 3 entree combo meal (3 entrees and rice), and in addition I take out 2-3 separate entrees (costs me 20$!! only). While you order and wait for the food (which is usually pre-prepared), you can have some Barbeques pork/chicken or some grilled pork belly. They are absolutely delicious! For the entrees, I highly recomment their Longanisia (Filipino sausage), Pork/chicken adobo (a filipino classic, meat braised in garlic, vinegar and soy sauce), Beef tapa (cured beef-tangy, soft and yummy), Dinuguan (fatty cubes of delectable, soft pork cooked in a mole sauce), Paksiw na Lechon (roasted pork stew in vinegar, garlic, soy sauce and spices), beef calderata (beef stew) and chicken curry (akin to thai yellow curry, but much lighter and subtle in taste). Try their desserts too! I love their Bibingka (hot rice cake). I have no doubt that for those who get out of their comfort zone and give this place an honest try, you WILL come back for more. It is a family owned place and a local business that absolutely deserves our patronage.

Our experience totally different compared to all the glowing reviews this place received. The pork BBQ were rubbery, the grilled squids were rubbery, the foods from the tray were cold and tasted like left overs. We should've paid attention to the warning signs when we pulled in at the parking lot. Such as: a. Dinner time but parking lots were empty. b. Dinner time but we were the only customers in there. c. The whole time while we were waiting for our orders (about 30-40 minutes), they didn't receive any order from other customers. We will never eat here again.

This is a unique eatery that was within walking distance to a hotel I was staying at by the airport. It was authentic filipino food. My favorite item were their eggrolls. One order has about 10 mini crispy egg rolls - something unique about them. I wasn't all too impressed with my chicken dish. Bone in chicken - authentic, but not my preference. I ordered their signature smoothie drink which is made of purple yam ice cream. I liked it until I got to the actual "stuff" in it....lots of dried jellied fruits. Brought a yam pastry home for the kids to try, which was delicious. Owner was very nice. Store has a small grocey section of imported Filipino foods.

Second time coming to this place and the food is mediocre at best. I like the cuisine but not from them. The food is overpriced and I guess they can do it since it's unique to the area. I ordered pretty large dish and it came up double to how much I usually pay at other Filipino restaurants and it didn't it even come with a side dish or anything.

I have now tried Filipino, and I want to thank you other Yelpers for finding me this place. I didn't believe there was anything good off of US 22 in the ABE area! (This is a converted Quiznos, so until fairly recently, there wasn't!) I had the three-selection entree. I got two scoops of rice, chicken adobo, mung beans, and beef... something or other. All of that for just $8 and change, amazingly. I basically asked for what the most Filipino dishes are. The cuisine seems like an amalgamation of Latino and Asian - maybe vaguely Hawaiian? Anyway, in reverse order: * The beef was Asian-influenced, in a dark but pungent sauce with a moderate amount of heat in it. This was the chef's recommendation. * The mung beans had some meat as well. A more mellow taste, but very well done. I don't like a lot of salt, but some people may find it not salty enough. (Then just add more salt, obviously.) * The chicken adobo is what sold me. More salt, but just an unbelievable marinade. I'll warn you here - it comes bone in, so use a knife and don't bite too hard. But the meat pretty much falls off the bone into your mouth. I found myself eating sauces by the spoonful. I used some Viet sweet chili sauce on the rice and that was delicious. Here are a few caveats, that normally would have subtracted a star, except this place is so delicious that I just can't: * A lot of dishes aren't available at any given time. There was no lengua (tongue) and maybe half the other displayed dishes. So don't walk in with your heart set on any one dish. That said, I would trust any of the ones available to be superb. * No special Filipino drinks or sodas, at least when I was there. Just water or Coke. A little disappointing. * I wanted to get dessert, and all they had left were a few cups of the Filipino traditional dessert, a lot of diverse chunks of sweet things in a cup. I just wasn't in that mood tonight. They have six or seven other desserts advertised, but none available. Again, don't come with your heart set on anything. Considering the lack of other viable options around here for a foodie - everything else is a chain or Chinese food - I will certainly be back, as long as it's within the business hours. Guys, stay open a little later! I know you want to open at 11 for the lunch crowd, but closing at 7 is too early! P.S. The owner's family? or chef's family? or someone's family was there. Older man sitting, young kid running around. I happen to love that atmosphere. Again, just know before you enter that it will be quite casual. If you're the type that doesn't like kids running around, then you don't deserve to eat good food anyway.

Wonderful Filipino cuisine! Today was another good visit, and they have added some Filipino grocery items so it made one less trip for us. We had pancit bihon, longanisa and sinagong. Owner was really nice and very helpful in picking out a few grocery items. its located in the plaza next to the Wawa for those who have trouble finding it. We will definitely be back.

As a filipino, there are hardly any restaurants around that serve traditional filipino dishes. There was one in Philly, but not much to talk about. So when I went up to Allentown for work, I had to try it with my co-worker. Everything I had was great...the mechado was awesome and the lechon was even better. There were filipinos dining in for lunch as well, so that's a good sign. You don't see much Chinese people eating at take out chinese joints. And Chinese food gets old after a while, so filipino food mixes it up nicely. The two entree meal was good enough for me, though they do have single and 3 entree meals. All in all a good experience and hope they get new customers that like to try out filipino food. Don't forget to get the turon (plantains) dessert...it was to die for.
