8 years in the area, and I have totally ignored this place for 6! How could I? Well in my (lame) defense, I have passed by it several times on 4th Street, Bethlehem, never realizing I was passing by deliciousness! Machu pichu! Yes an iconic landmark of Incan civilization, and in Bethlehem, an iconic landmark of food!! Well if it is not so, it better be! Its a little difficult to find, specially at night, but once you do, go in and just eat! Peruvian food is all about meat, good seafood and potatoes. Machu Pichu never disappoints. Their tamales (corn meal stuffed with your choice of meat) and papa ala huancaina (sliced boiled potatoes in a spicy cheese sauce) are divine. They have a pretty good variety of food, but I almost always go for their steak stew served with rice and french fries. Delicious! So is the grilled chicken and rice. Tender, flavor in every bite, just perfect! This is a no frills place. Simple, delicious food. Thats all. By the way, the food makes for incerdible leftovers. And if you are up for the total Incan experience. Wash down your delicious food with some Inca cola and feel like a king!

I'm in the area two or three times a month and when I am I eat here ! Food is Slamming and you can't beat the price back home in NYC you would pay double.

I always get their seafood platter 14$ and it's a very good value, shrimp, fish, octopus, calamari, squid Very very delicious.

Ate there last weekend in May 2013. the food was DELICIOUS. the sauces, the calamari, the seafood...the potatoes with that special orange colored sauce. OMG!!!! would go back 100 times, sooo goooddd. Prices were pretty reasonable. The service was OK, wasn't great, wasn't bad. It had AC, it was clean and the moreover, the food was out of this world good.

Cold, not so cute but it's good food and they treat you really nice. Go for lunch when it's less crowdy and enjoy everything you eat. Give it a try to the inca kola and chicha morada. Try the alfajores too! You'll love them!

This was a rare find in this area. The food was fantastic...we were a group of 6 and everyone raved about their meals. They are still talking about them in fact !

Authentic Peruvian food in my backyard! As with many South American restaurants the servings size is a bit much - which is good for sharing and leftovers --mmm. i love left overs- I ordered some type of roasted chicken w/ rice and it was filled w/ flavor. Its a nice restaurant and worth a try!

A very modest neighborhood place. The only restaurant (flanked by two bars that also serve food) within a few hundred yards of the Sands Casino. Only open for lunch and early dinner (closes 6pm or 7PM), it is not super cheap ($8 to $12), but you get a large excellent meal for your money. The menu is about a dozen Peruvian favorites. Spanish music videos are playing semi-loudly. I would recommend it as an alternative to the blander food served in the casino. As you walk out the casino, follow the sidewalks cross route 412, and head up the hill above the skatepark. The city of Bethlehem has plans to expand the "Greenway" which is a linear park following an old railroad. If they complete these plans by putting a small tree lined park across the street, the area should become more inviting for college students and for casino guests.
