Although just a little bakery/café, Joli was by far the best quick bite option in the Sands. While I only had a breakfast sandwich, I was impressed and would have gone back if they were open later during my visit. Just a breakfast sandwich was impressive for the following reasons: 1) I ordered it around 4pm. 2) I got to customize my order. Egg whites with sausage, and provolone on multigrain bread hit the spot. 3) Although it was a quick order, it was a customized order. They had to assemble it fresh versus pull it off a shelf and reheat it. 4) Even after all of my additions and upgrades, my nicely sized sandwich was only $6.25. Take that casino pricing. 5) They were the closest healthy option near the Event Center. Now if only they were open late night hours...

I've visited Joli Bakery and Cafe 4 times now and every time I go then have a new assortment of delicious pastries. When they first opened I was a huge fan of their homemade gelato, and now that it's cold I get a wonderful Illy half-caf Cap and a hot crossant. The staff is really friendly too. I highly recommend you try this if you go to the Sands.

I've been there 3 time. For French pastry, it is perfect. I don't know of any place within an hours drive that is even close to the quality. This last time I was disappointed that they used a cardboard cup instead of a traditional one for the cappuccino. . Just isn't the same, they told me I should have asked. It is worth the price and it would be a shame to lose them do to lack of support.

I don't understand how a bakery that prepares their breads in-house is unable to provide ingredient/allergen information about their products. Isn't that required by law, or at least common sense?

Went there for the first and last time. Had a " ham and cheese croissant". The cheese was there little swipes of burned cheese on top, and the filling (maybe) 1/2 ounce of ham rolled up down the middle. Not worth the money or time to go. They do serve Illy coffee, and the server offered to are it fresh. They need to learn to bus tables, and show concern about their customers. When you go to the Sands, there are better places to go.

Great little breakfast spot at The Sands Casino. They have a barista brewing up small doses of rocket fuel. I had 1 1/2 iced cappuccinos (my fiance didn't finish hers...women, amiright!?) and I was having minor heart palpitations. The good kind though. They have friendly staff at the counter. They have a wide array of fresh baked pastries, muffins, brownies, etc. I had a bomb dot com ham egg and cheese on a croissant, made to order, super fresh and very reasonably priced. Chocolate chip muffin was awesome too. They even serve Hershey's ice cream. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to eat and run the morning of check out.

This review is for the bread only. I just stopped by and bought a baguette and a loaf of sourdough. I haven't found any real good bread makers in the Valley, but I was very pleased with their bread. I bought it late in the day also, so it wasn't real fresh. Adam the owner was very pleasant to talk with. The only negative to me was having to park and walk far to get good bread.
