Connie's cakes is AWESOME! They decorated my son's 10th birthday cake for his party last Friday. They made it so easy! They were on time, the cake was exactly as ordered, the cake itself was perfectly designed and delicious, and the price was right. I thought it might be tricky to get a Golden Freddy from the 5 nights at Freddy's video game exactly right, but the young lady who decorated it knew what I was talking about and had access to the images I emailed to them. Connie herself is reasonable and straightforward. My son was so happy with the result, and the cake was the hit of the party! Well done, Connie's Cakes! I'll recommend your shop to anyone who is planning a party, because you got it right.

I just ordered a cake from Connie's for my mom's birthday on 1/12/2014. I uploaded the picture above. I asked them to make her cake look like a quilt, since she is a quilter, and it turned out BEAUTIFUL. I also found the price to be great, too. I would have expected to pay more for such a beautiful cake. The store is small and homey. There is only metered parking, but I only had to put a quarter in for me to run in and pick up the cake. Not only did the cake look beautiful, it tasted great! The cake was almond flavored (with small pieces of almond throughout, soooooo yummy) with a layer of chocolate mousse inside. It was to die for. My whole family raved about this cake. I definitely will be going back to Connie's in the near future!

I have purchased every cookie, cake or cupcake I have ever used for any major occassion (baby shower, bridal shower, baptism cookies with kids pics on it, kids first birthday themes for farms, zoos, and kids subsequent birthdays themes) from Connie's. Her work is always amazing, the cake is so unbelievably delicious and moist, and its incredibly easy to order. Plus, the price is just right for the quality and craftmanship that goes into making a cake not only taste delish but also look gorgeous! Connie's has and will continue to always get my business, which is hard given that the Valley has a ton of other choices...but this one is still first class.

Connie definitely knows what she's doing when it comes to her delicious creations. Her cakes are very impressive looking, but most importantly are always impressive tasting. The biggest positive for Connie's is that everything is consistent. I've ordered numerous cakes from her and it's been good every time. Also the taste is far better than the swill that you would get for a cake at Giant, Redners, or Weis. The only downside to the store is that there is no parking at all. There are only a couple of metered street spaces and once those are gone you are either parking a block or two away or need to go into a parking deck. Connie's is the perfect mix of taste and value.

Every year, we throw a new challenge for a themed birthday cake for my daughter, and they come through every time. This year's Tardis (Doctor Who) cake was amazing.

Good place to get shoofly pie near Allentown. Connie works right there and is generous with her time and advice on selecting goodies. Got a nice selection of cookies and some pie to share. Tip for those unfamiliar with the area: West Broad St does a funny skip so the restaurant is off a side street (Guetter St). Edit: forgot to mention that you can buy really nice dog treats as well. My girlfriend's aunt's lovable but snobby dog, adored them!

I'm a big fan of Connie's. This small, privately-owned shop is such a great addition to downtown Bethlehem. Connie definitely knows what she's doing when it comes to her delicious creations. Her cakes are very impressive looking. She made my sister's engagement cake (decorated in fondant icing and ivy vines trailing all over) and it was beautiful and elegant. Her baked goods are really special here. Try her unbelievably delicious kiffles. You and everyone you know will be raving about them. I guarantee it. Her cakes, although beautiful, tend to be on the dry side (as most designer cakes are). They're still tasty, but if you're looking for a very moist cake, you might not find it here. I always enjoy coming in and picking up some random treats. The workers (who are almost always her family members) are all very warm and friendly. You'll definitely feel welcomed here.

This place reminds me of your grandmother's kitchen. The woman who runs it is sweeter than pie, and her baked goods have a homey feel to them. As such, they're not super fancey, but they are cheap and delicious! I primarily snatch up the cookies, but the cake is pretty good, and from the displays in the store she seems quite talented. Check it out sometime.
