Fantastic atmosphere tables aren't to close plenty of personal space for private conversation. Waitress was very sweet and helpful even though she said it was only her second day Had oysters appetizer, fried but breading was so light and the oysters weren't over cooked . My friend had fish tacos.... Recommended by our server, Seana, they were Yummy ! She was surprised there were TWO tacos on the plate, she was expecting only one. Nice portions . Second trip was just as good. Had blackened shrimp. Again not over cooked - perfect. And our server Misty suggested a wine that was perfect too. Every time someone wants to have lunch dinner or a drink with me -Golden Eagle is where I take them. Oh yeah ...Pineapple Beer on tap in the pub! Don't knock it till you try it ..!

Can't say enough good things about the Golden Eagle inn. Clean beautiful friendly and the food... Ah yessssss- the food! The chef here is young, talented, and passionate . Folks - that's a great combination . About halfway between Pitt and phila, it's the perfect stopover if you want to cut the trip in two. When it comes to B&B's, the Golden Eagle soars. This place is a keeper.

My husband and I have a vacation home near Bedford. We went to The Golden Eagle on a Saturday night with another couple. The Inn is a historic building and the restaurant is pleasantly decorated to match. The staff was very attentive. The menu was creative American-style cooking. We had the shaved Brussels sprout salad as a starter which was amazing. Try it even if you don't like Brussels sprouts! My main course was flavorful hamburger with interesting and tasty garnishes accompanied by delicious hand cut fries. Everyone one else was very pleased with the thinly sliced flat iron steak, well prepared to order atop garlic mashed potatoes. Fried peach pie with ice cream for dessert. Yum! Try this place!

The Golden Eagle Inn is a white table cloth, nicer restaurant. My friend and I stopped in on a snowy November afternoon looking for lunch on our road trip (we were in jeans and had just pushed our car up a slushy hill). Nevertheless, our waitress was friendly, and we were seated quickly. I chose this restaurant because I had read that Grilled Fish Tacos were on their Specials menu on the website so I was disappointed to learn that they only had one daily special (not the tacos) for lunch. I usually make a point to avoid ordering salads at restaurants (it's rarely worth it), but I couldn't find anything that appealed to me so I went with the Autumn Salad ($8) with Roasted Chicken (extra $4). I am very glad I added the chicken because I would have otherwise received a pile of very lightly dressed arugula - I don't use a lot of dressing, but I couldn't taste any dressing on 95% of my salad - with four very small pieces of butternut squash. The chicken was moist and flavorful, but the dish was so disappointing and definitely not worth the amount they are charging. It's worth mentioning that my friend did enjoy his Short Rib Macaroni and Cheese. ATMOSPHERE: 4/5 SERVICE: 4/5 FOOD: 2/5 VALUE: 3/5 OVERALL: 3/5

We are staying at the omni and wanted to eat off the grounds for a night. We came here for lunch and my wife had a meatloaf sand which to die for and I had a solid Cuban. We came back for dinner and while much of the menu was the same it was also fantastic, the steak was great. Small simple menu but well executed. Try it!!!

Had a fantastic meal here. Was initially impressed by the old-fashioned charm of the restaurant, albeit a little nervous that the restaurant was empty at dinner time. Despite the quiet environment, the food was superb. Most of my party got the hanger steak - which was seasoned nicely cooked to perfection - and one chicken piccata -which moist and flavorful. The sides were also delish. After our main dish, we were excited to continue trying their delightful dishes and got the flourless chocolate cake that was one of the best I've ever had. The waitress was very nice although seemed somewhat new to the job. Overall, lovely experience and would certainly go back and recommend to others.

My husband and I just left the Golden Eagle Inn Restaurant and can't stop raving about it! Our food was phenomenal...compliments to the chef!! I enjoyed a Chicken Piccata and my husband had the Pork Chop. Both served over mashed potatoes. We had a late reservation, so we weren't surprised that two menu items were not available but the replacement of chicken piccata instead of chicken porchetta was excellent!!! The chicken was breaded perfectly and so tender. My husband's pork chop was nicely done with a bacon Brussels sprout on top. And for dessert, we shared flourless chocolate cake which needs no explanation. Our server was great!! I wish I knew her name to put on this review but I imagine all of the servers are great. Ambiance is very comfortable and inviting.

We went to the pub last evening. Granted it was a Saturday night. It took 45 minutes to get our drink order. No silverware, no salt and pepper on any of the tables. I had to ask for all of that. I had to continually flag down the waiter for what we needed. Bartender/owner also seemed oblivious to the patrons at the table. Chatting it up with those at the bar. Again, took forever to get our drinks and others at the tables looked equally frustrated. That being said, the food was phenomenal! I will return just for the food. I would advise this place but not if you are in a hurry, particularly on the weekends.

We stayed at Omni and came here for dinner. We ordered the scallops as an appetizer and paid $14 for two scallops. The flat bread is not flat bread it is an inch thick pretzel bread. My wife had the lamb which was cooked excellent but the lamb itself was very fatty. Many of the dishes were overly salty. For the price we should have eaten at the Omni Resort.

I have dined at the Golden Eagle Inn for lunch and dinner several times and it is fantastic! I have been to a lot of great restaurants around the US so I definitely know a good restaurant when I see one. The service was wonderful and the owners Tom & Mary Jane were very attentive and check with our table and all the others around us to see how everything was. Every time I come to town I eat here because their specials are always changing and never disappoint! I also want to add that the brunch if fabulous as well!!! Great job guys!

Food was overly salted. I ordered Shrimp and Grits. The shrimp was served with the shells on; I have never eaten shrimp and grits with the shells on. It was very messy to eat and I should have sent it back and ordered something else. I don't go to fine dining restaurants to eat with my hands. We won't go back.

Half way through our first meal at Oralee's my wife said what I was thinking " I've found our new favorite restaurant." Every meal we have had here has been superb from the mandarin orange salad to the buttermilk pie. Choosing a favorite dish is like choosing a favorite child .... it can't be done because everything is wonderful. The staff is very friendly and professional which is becoming harder to find these days.
