OK, tough choice here: do I go to the fast food place off the highway, or the old school biker bar / pub restaurant that's less than 1 block away ? Bar area is at one 1/2, restaurant is on the other. Super friendly service/staff, very kid friendly, very nice back yard/outdoor seating area, big menu w/ lots of tasty stuff, very little of it I would be apprehensive about ordering in a pub. They also claim to be the King of Wings. The wings were def. not bad, but not sure if I would say that they are actually the King. Locals love this place, and if you are from out of town, they won't love you, but hey, thats part of the charm. Also, lots of sweet Harley's in the parking lot. I think I even spotted the tricyle-style one. Although its not actually posted on a sign (maybe its illegal, and at the very least, not PC), my guess is that "Rice-Burners Are Not Welcome" (that's Japanese-made motor cycles); same probably goes for your Ducati. Also, I believe Wed. PM is Wing Night - 45-cent wings !

I love this place. All kinds of people hang out there. The drinks were good. Karaoke night was amazing. Almost everyone could carry a tune.

Went about a month ago or so. Weird experience. Food was ok but nothing to rave about. What I thought was more strange was how they served things. So ok I get it, it's a bar, fine. So when I get my spinach dip & chips appetizer served on a nice white square plate I'm like, sweet. Then I'm handed a cheap, not even good paper plate with it, It's one of those styrofoam ones. I'm like WTF? Such an odd mix. I get a taco wrap. Why? I'm not sure. Seemed different, I like tacos, why not. So I get this big wrap with a lot of meat, some cheese, whatever. Then they gave me these two little mini clear plastic cups. Like maybe the size of a quarter of a cup. One has sour cream and the other has salsa. Now not for nothing but these two little cups for this Huge wrap. Disappointing to have to ask for more of it and REALLY disappointing to find out they charged us .50 cents for it. I mean WTF? You should supply me with enough of that for the size you give me, but if you don't and I need to ask for more, don't nickel and dime me with it. So annoying. Then ok the other odd thing, my boyfriend ordered disco fries. His burger came on a regular plate again and the fries came in a basket. A basket?! Like you get at one of those fast food places with the paper lining on the bottom. How and better yet WHY would you serve gravy fries in a basket? I just don't understand. By the end the paper lining was all yucky and coming apart. Just weird. They need to switch it, put the burger in basket and that on the actual plate.

3.5/5 stars for me here. In the past 2 years they have celebrated 91 years in business, they've been voted #1 Wings & #1 Tavern & #1 Friendliest Pub. That's good enough for me! Headed back to NYC from a weekend in the woods of Drums, PA we jumped on to YELP and looked for a spot along the way. Sure enough, we were lead to Pocono Pub. We were able to score a table for lunch during football games. This really was your typical pub scene...Bikes parked outside, guys in leather harley jackets smoking cigs, old locals at the bar flirting with a younger bar tender, football on all tv's, guys shooting pool...you get the picture. Don't be fooled though, it has a TON of character and the food was great. Our waitress was very helpful in suggestions of what to order. We ended up staying for a while and then hit the road. If you happen to driving along route 80 and can afford a quick stop off, this is a great place to check out and totally worth your time. I think we will certainly make another stop off. Until next time...

Heard they had good homemade food here but upon walking in, it looked like a gross motorcycle dive bar. Once I sat myself with my boyfriend, it took about 15 minutes for someone to serve us. Underwhelmed, I ordered a Sprite, (or Sierra Mist, not sure what I got exactly) I could tell it was almost out of CO2 and something tasted off about it. It tasted like a flat rancid sweet tart! I wonder if they ever cleaned their soda tap??? I thought a moment and got a bottled alcoholic beverage instead so I could ignore my flat rancid sweet tart. My bf's beer tasted a bit flat too. I ordered a cheesesteak which wasn't too bad actually and my bf ordered wings that were a bit dry. I had to quick nab our waitress once while passing by to get ketchup for me since she didn't check back after giving us our food...In her defense, they had some weirdo dude playing cover songs (too loud I couldn't hear my bf and we were fartherst away in the corner) tonight so the outside area was open and pretty full of people. She looked like the only server! This place only has one waitress on wing night??? Anyway, it took an hour to get food and finally get out of there. Weird how long it took us when all we got was a cheesesteak, wings, and beer. I am going to be so surprised and lucky if I don't get sick from my rancid drink! (not even kidding.) The only highlight I would say had to be the marinara sauce I had with my steak sandwich. It was good... (meat sauce I think with chunks of fresh herbs...) wish I had more good to say about my experience. Not ever going here again...sheesh

This place has one of the best burgers in the Pocono's that I have found. They make them from fresh ground beef and you can tell from the very first bite. The bun is always fresh and the portion generous. The beer is cold and there is always a local who can tell you abut the area as your right in the beginning of the "touristy" area. The beer is cold, burger is good fresh and hot and the price is right... what more can you ask for!

Most of the time, the service is good. But once in awhile, at night, you become invisible as the waitress is busy socializing with her friends.
