Amazing. The most perfect breakfast and lunch café around. Portions are large, delicious and everything is always fresh. The chicken salad is some of the best I've had. Service is always excellent, Kelly is the best!!

Great little place for breakfast. Was a little Leary when I went in because I was the only one there. As I sat waiting for my order. I felt a little better as huge take out orders were leaving and then 3 State Police officers came in. I ordered the TasteBudz special, 3 eggs, French toast, scrapple and sausage and home fries. Passed on the toast. Coffee and juice included. Excellent value and very good food. Good service. Could have turned the AC on though. They have serious issues with air conditioning. Little hot on these summer days. Needs to be turned on. Makes usually great breakfast uncomfortable.

Breakfast was great, went back a week later and lunch not so good. For breakfast I got a bacon eggs cheese sandwich which was amazing. One of the best I ever had the sandwich was humongous I couldn't even finish it but I really wanted to because it was so darn good. Also had a huge portion of home fries. For lunch I ordered a buffalo chicken wrap which was not so good. The chicken fingers were drenched in a bad hot sauce. It reminded me of the hot sauce packets at a fast food joint. And the portion of chicken was small . My father got the chicken salad and said it was ok. I highly recommend this place for breakfast but I do not recommend it for lunch.

Ok so just a heads up this is a sit down diner, not a typical "cafe" spot to grab coffee and go. Service was much faster than I expected when I accidentally wandered in. I had hurt my neck, and wasn't great at making eye contact, and I was obviously confused. I'm sure I looked crazy, but the staff was ultra friendly. My chicken was juicy, and the iced tea was the good kind (aka unsweetened). They passed my good diner test with excellent French fries.

I have ordered from taste budz cafe several times, and everything has been excellent . The meatloaf off of the dinner menu is huge, and so tasty. I've also had the cheesesteak eggs rolls, they are the best I've had. I would recommend this cafe for breakfast, lunch, or dinner! If you want to go over the top the chocolate milkshakes are good as well (:

Decent place for breakfast and lunch but they do not or will not turn the air conditioner on. No one wants to sweat while eating. We went there a week or so ago and the A/C was either broken or just not turned on. We stayed but were uncomfortable due to the heat. Gave them another chance this week, walked in and immediately turned around and left. I cannot believe they will not turn the A/C on. Just unacceptable in my opinion.

We found this place by accident right before we moved out of state. Wish we had found it sooner. Cozy place good food crazy on weekends for breakfast. Very pleasant owner and staff. Just an all around good place to eat and be treated well for spending your money.

My husband has been wanting to try this place since it opened several months ago so we finally stopped in for a quick breakfast this morning. Glad we did! Their menu wasn't overwhelmingly long like some other places are... There were only a handful of omelettes to choose from other than the choice to build your own... This wasn't a problem for me though as I quickly settled on trying the BLT Omelette which caught my eye right off the bat. After asking the waitress (who we know personally and is more or less family) if it was any good, I decided to try it. I thought it was great - the bacon and tomatoes are combined with the eggs and once the omelette is cooked they put a little mayo on it, fold it in half and then top it with some shredded iceberg. I usually get rye bread with my breakfast, but since it was a BLT, I went with the typical white bread. Overall I really liked the omelette and didn't find it salty, even with all that bacon in there! That said, I did find the home fries to be on the salty side, but since I love salt, I didn't mind one bit. Just didn't add any extra at the table. But people who don't love salt like me will most likely have a problem with that. Anyway, my husband had the Taste Budz special or whatever is was called... Two eggs, two pancakes or french toast, homefries, two meats, toast, coffee and OJ for $7.99. To my surprise, he ate every bit so I know it was all good! Taste Budz is a great little addition to the area... I will definitely be going back and definitely recommend giving it a try!

Love this place. Work close by and when I have time, will stop in for breakfast. Never disappointed. Great breakfast sandwiches and omelettes. For lunch you can't get a better chicken caesar wrap anywhere. Servers are always friendly and do a great job!

Ordered from here for lunch today, and to my surprise, they deliver! Any place that will deliver breakfast to me gets a bonus star just for that. If you order the Taste Budz special for takeout/delivery, and get french toast with it, (you can also get pancakes) request that the french toast be in a separate container because I ended up with cinnamon on my eggs. Other than that it was tasty. Co worker got the cream chipped beef with a side of sausage which he enjoyed. Another got the Taste Budz Burger which he loved. We'll definitely order from here again.

Taste Budz is an extremely welcome addition to the Aston area! My family and I have been struggling to find a decent place for breakfast or lunch in the area with options that aren't just basic eggs and toast and sandwiches. I've been here a few times now and am always extremely happy! Their omelets are the best I've ever had, and they always have new and interesting specials and soups. Yesterday I went for lunch and had a tomato braised chicken sandwich with avocado and bacon and it's was amazing! You can't get anything else like that in the area. My family and I hope to enjoy their food for years to come.

Friendly staff and fantastic breakfast. It's not fancy but perfect for a nice casual breakfast and they serve lunch all day too!

I was a little leery about trying this place because honestly their sign is not very appealing, lol. But I'm glad I did. First off, inside was clean and neat. The staff is super friendly and they remembered me the second time I came in. The food is good. I like the breakfast better than lunch, but to be fair I haven't tried much of their lunch items. Happy customer.

This is definitely a casual place for breakfast/lunch. My husband and I have lived in the area for years and have been so pleasantly surprised with this newer addition in Aston. We have a 20 month old and the staff is so incredibly friendly and interactive with him every time we come in. They offer coloring books/crayons and have a toy box for kids to take home one small toy. They also have cups with lids for children which always comes in handy. The food is very good and moderately priced compared to others in the area. We highly recommend!!

I typically don't write reviews however this place was perfect. I went on Saturday late morning with a couple of girlfriends I haven't seen in awhile. The service was excellent, I mean everyone was really attentive and just overall friendly. The food was really good as well I was skeptical at first because I didn't know what to expect since I'm not that familiar with the area. I had the Vegetarian Hoagie which was great and I tried the Belgian waffles which were amazing, I will be getting them next time. It was really nice too because my friend brought champagne so we could make our own Mimosas which is always a nice added perk.

More and more local businesses are opening in Aston, which is a very good thing. Taste Budz Cafe is housed in the old Memories Grill, and recently opened for breakfast and lunch. I really wanted to like this place more, but they still have some work to do on their breakfast menu. Atmosphere - Nice new pictures and paint have been put up over the drab colors of the old Memories Grill. Taste Budz has also added a few comfortable booths, but kept some of the old furnishings from Memories Grill which really are uncomfortable for seating. Still has TV's in the restaurant, and while the Saturday morning cartoons may be geared toward the family atmosphere, for those diners without children it can be a bit much. Other than that, everything still has mostly the same look as the old restaurant used too. Waitstaff - Our waitress Mallory did a great job of coming over to greet us, and was very friendly throughout our service. The large water glasses were very much appreciated and she was prompt at getting out food out and doing a great job following up with us. Other waitstaff were engaging and friendly as well, this was one of the finer points of dining here. Food - Tsk, tsk. If you're going to be known as a breakfast place, you really have to do breakfast well, and my party felt as though the breakfast was lacking. I went with a ham and cheese omelette and some cinnamon toast. The omelette was a bit salty, and the cheese wasn't all the way melted in the omelette. I could tell they used sliced cheese instead of grated cheese because the shape was still clearly visible. The home fries were bland, no real taste or crispiness to them. When you say that with your meal that the bread was the best part, that's saying something. My other diner ordered an omelette as well which she said was very salty and agreed, no taste with the home fries as well. I also ordered a side of scrapple which was highly disappointing. Very lean and all you could taste was the fried outside, too thin to have any meatiness to it. Intangibles - The restaurant is right next door to a karate studio, which had an active class during our meal. Every time someone hit a bag or stomped on the floor, you could feel the vibration from our table. A worker said while we were there that Saturdays are the only day that they have this issue, thought I'm not really sure how they could solve for this issue, but it was pretty annoying to have happen during the meal? The prices here are fantastic, as we were both able to dine for less then $20 before tip, but I would prefer to pay more if the food quality increased from the breakfast that I had. Overall - Taste Budz Cafe has a way to go for breakfast, and I have to say, there's now some competition in Aston, so hopefully these things will get better as they grow. I'd be willing to give them a try for lunch, as they had some interesting items on the menu as well, but as far as for breakfast in the future, I might try one or two other spots before going there again. However, if you're a family looking for a low cost, kid friendly value meal, this might be a spot worth trying out.
