Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

Wow, I had a totally different experience than most other reviewers! I got here just before noon, and there was no line. I ordered a veggie burrito like usual. I was really happy that their veggie mix had way more green peppers than onions in it. I hate when other Chipotles use so many onions as a filler. They had all of the toppings I wanted, and they gave me a huge scoop of guac (fyi it's free when you order the veggie). And my burrito tasted great! The staff members were also very friendly. The first one asked me how my day was going and smiled. One of the other staff members who added salsa to my burrito was really pleasant and wasn't annoyed that I asked for 2 scoops of pico. And everyone else seemed nice. I would definitely come back to this Chipotle. Maybe it was an anomaly that I had such a great experience here, or maybe they took the negative feedback to heart and did something about it.

I don't really like chipotle but my fiance does, so sometimes i'll go to satisfy him. The line moved pretty slow considering it wasn't very busy when we went. I usually get the chicken quesadilla from here and it isn't bad at all, but I still don't get the hype surrounding this place. We ended up eating in here, which is when I noticed the place is pretty dirty. Which makes it feel more like a mcdonald's than a fast casual chain. Prices are cheap, though.

This has been the best chipotle experience of my life. Fresh ingredients, lots of meat, perfect ratios. I am enlightened.
(5)Lindsay G.
I absolutely love Chipotle, but this location isn't managed well. They are very slow, out of things alot and the staff is goofing off half the time. There was no line when I got there, but it still took me almost 20 minutes to get my food. The CC location gets me in and out in 10minutes or less even with a huge line.
(2)Bruce S.
Been here three or four times. This isn't a great location, but it isn't horrible either. Food: Hey, it's Chiptole and everything you'd expect from them. Good and fresh, portion size on the small side compared to Qdoba. Qdoba is the best! I understand the limited menu theory, but I'd still like more options. At lunchtime the line moves slow... even with their limited menu. The people behind the counter are very disconnected from the people giving orders -- have to repeat your order more than once. Part of the issue is how ridiculously loud it is in this place... I feel like I want to start using sign language. The other problem is the employees just don't seem to care... I liken them to cashiers at McDonald's. They'll take your order, but then their job is done. The place is noisy and the seating is never adequate at lunchtime. The people who eat here act like vultures circling, circling, circling and then dropping in on a table before the people even stand up. It's ridiculous. Also, my phone doesn't get service while sitting down. I don't know if it is just me or what, but I rarely have issues with service... probably the sheet metal construction of the place. I'd suggest free wifi... which they do not currently have. And parking is beyond ridiculous... the lot at the strip mall is always full and you can't park next door at McDonald's because of the nazi-esque signage all over the place. So, I don't have any real suggestions on how to make it better other than free wifi... but if you want a decent, overpriced burrito -- this is your place.

This Chipotle is A-OK. My only complaint is that the place seemed a little bit dirty and worn, and the bathrooms were nothing short of disgusting. However, the food was predictable and the bottom line is that's what you want when you go to a place like this. My burrito bowl was huge and delicious, even if the atmosphere left a little something to be desired.
(3)Eduardo A.
I swear this is the last time that I go to this location! This is the worst chipotle ever! I've been here 3 times and my burrito looked more like a Twinkie than like a burrito. Maybe the Main Line customers don't complaint because they are either on a diet or they don't mind buying 2 burritos per person. Do yourself a favor and drive either to the Havertown or the City Line locations.
(1)Todd S.
This location continues to amaze me with it lack of proper management. This evening was just a messsss!! People were leaving orders on the station because they were out of so many items at the station. The area was dirty and not wiped clean!! No cheese?? No cheese?? Are u kidding me.
(1)Janelle J.
This Chipotle location is the absolute worst that I have ever been too. It start with parking, which has very few spots in a small parking lot. Once inside you can expect to wait to order your food no matter if it's the lunch rush or right before closing. Employees are always talking with each other and not paying attention to your order that you often have to repeat. Additionally, they are ALWAYS out of something...salsa, chicken, cheese, lettuce, etc. it's ridiculous! To top it off, the staff is rude, slow, and incapable of folding a burrito tightly. Oh, and if you can find a table to sit at, it will be filthy. The dining area does not get clean. Chipotle is wonderful, but this location is the worst.

If I could give this place a 0 out of 5 I would. It has nothing to so with the taste of the food but of the poor, unprofessional service. The line workers especially the tall female (about 5'10) who has a bad attitude and shouldn't be working there any longer - that's the problem I have with this place. I don't intend to go back and I will let everyone I know not to eat at this establishment. If workers are that unhappy with their job, perhaps they should choose another profession. What happened to customer service? This place has none. Customers beware- if they don't seem to like you: expect eye rolls, attitude, and much smaller portions than usual. You could simply ask a question or be a female and I'm sure you will get a negative response. This place needs to truly revamp their customer service and hire better quality employees!!!!
(1)Daniel M.
Six people working today 20 people on line 27minutes to get food, no fajitas. Corporate why can't you fix this location?
(2)Benjamin R.
I generally don't visit chain restaurants and never eat fast food. Chipotle, however, is the exception. This is the perfect cheap lunch spot. You can get a burrito the size of a small pillow and a freshly brewed iced tea for under $8. Chipotle gets 5 stars because it knows exactly what it's supposed to be. it does one thing and it does it well--makes burritos (and the occasional taco or salad). It has a simple menu that still manages a decent variety when you factor in the various sauces and toppings available. The assembly line setup provides for a custom, freshly-made burrito in roughly under 3 minutes. Chipotle also gets a nod for sourcing more humane meat and dairy products, unlike the antibiotics-stuffed rain forest beef and battery caged chicken most other places use. The Ardmore location, which I frequent the most, is generally clean and offers ample indoor and outdoor/sunroom seating. The staff is pretty efficient, as well. Bonus points for Chipotle's iPhone ordering app. Although lines move fairly quickly, nothing beats a few taps on your phone and then being able to cut to the front of the line to pick up your food.
(5)Lacey A.
First of all, I have to say that the food and portions are really satisfying to my mouth, and the money that I hardly have to begin with walking in here...I spend less than 7 bucks for my burrito, which is way better for paying for Santa Fe Burrito down the street, even though their ingredients are much fresher, but anyway.... I have no problem with the food itself, but one particular experience I had made me just have to knock it down 1 star: One of the girls that works there messed up my burrito and had to put my insides in a different wrap- I totally watched her dump my choosings into a COLD wrap and then still continued to have TERRIBLE roll game (and didn't even seem to care that she did)....This is pretty much the main problem they have here with most of the employers, but other than that I have received a free burrito right before they closed for the night, and generally have a great, quick experience each time! This is a really quick and easy location for me to get to, even though the parking lot sucks- It can be really packed during rush hour, and you have "know-it-all main liners" talking on their cell phones while driving their precious mercedes-benz, rather than paying attention to NOT crashing. But that is something I am used to living out this way. Oh well.....I will STILL be back!

I just want to share some facts about Chipotle, because the some of the people posting on this page are misinformed. 1. Chipotle is not owned by McDonalds en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ch… 2. Its not called Chipotle Mexican Restaurant for a REASON, its not a Mexican restaurant, so don't complain when you go to a freaking BURRITO place and complain about the lack of menu diversity. Finally, the Ardmore location is not nearly as good as City ave, go there if you want the best Chipotle experience in Philadelphia.
(5)Gwen R.
love the salads
(4)Jessica A.
Service seems to have gotten better now that this location has been open for a little while. There are still some people working there who clearly don't care about their jobs or the customers, but there are others who are great.
(4)John B.
I got a horrible case of food poisoning from this chipotle. It was a pretty terrible experience and lasted for quite a while. To make it even awesomer, it occurred about 2 weeks before I was scheduled to take the bar exam. I was pretty pissed and called to complain and the management pretty much said "oh sorry, but we actually don't care." As a result, I hate this place.
(1)Lisa K.
This place rocks! Awesome crew that cares about you getting a great and fresh burrito and they always have success in my experience. Have been to other places in the franchise but this one is special.
(5)Adam R.
As others have said, this Chipotle establishment has gone extremely down hill over time. I've been here more times to count, and the past 4-5 times have been nothing short of abysmal. This past time will be my last. On top of the rude and disrespectful staff, there always seems to be core burrito ingredients missing during all hours of the day. I've been there when beans, rice, steak, chicken, chips, and cheese have been out of stock. Coincidentally, every time I've been there they have never had a shortage of their 'world famous guac'. Convenient how the item they charge $1.95 for is always abundantly overstocked. The worst part is you have no knowledge of said missing ingredients until after waiting fifteen minutes in line. I mean c'mon. CHEESE? I feel like a place that thrives on burritos should let you know they're out of cheese before you're at the end of their assembly line. To top this off, every burrito I've had made in these past 4-5 times has been ripped. They simply have stopped asking if you'd like a re-wrap after their failure to roll the burritos, and rather try to sneak away with a mediocre finished product. If I wanted a taco salad, I'd order a taco salad. In closing, don't go to this Chipotle. It's a joke of a franchise, and the franchisee in charge needs to get their act together. Go to West Chester or Wayne.
(1)Leah H.
I've gone here for years. This time they had NO GUACAMOLE. Keep in mind this was 11am so they didn't run out. They never had. The steak had zero flavor. There was no ice They suck I would have more enjoyed eating my foot.

I've been to this Chipotle countless times however it's only been getting worse and worse over the years. This last experience was especially appalling because of the behavior of the staff and I have officially decided to never come back here again. Upon walking in, there were signs written in sharpie claiming "NO RICE". This was not the case, as they had plenty of rice that the worker seemed to be mushing into a ball with her hands before placing on a bowl of lettuce for a customer. The line was move HORRENDOUSLY long and moving slowly because the employees were flirting with each other and messing around in the back. All these things, I looked past because I was hungry. BUT THEN... I'm a vegetarian so I do not eat meat. My friend does not eat pork for religious purposes. In all other Chipotles, this has never been a problem since you pick your own ingredients. NO SIR NOT HERE, the employee who was attempting to serve us, was mixing the pinto beans (made with pork bone) with the black beans. She then flung shredded pork all over my friends' burrito, and within the sofritas and other ingredient containers. When my friend kindly asked her to make the burrito again, since she could not have pork, the employee literally snickered in our faces and asked rudely "oh do you want me to change my gloves too?". This is the food industry, she should know better. Being, insulted and hungry, we decided to go to the Chipotle in Wayne which was the best choice we made all night.
(1)Pawel Z.
Every time I am here, which is usually 2-3 times a week, I have a great experience and get great food. I just wish they had a promo from time to time or perhaps a reward card?
(5)Joe B.
I really really love Chipotle. I would definitely say that I have a borderline addiction. I've been to this Chipotle a number of times since I recently moved to this area, and it was conveniently within walking distance so I found myself at this location often. I will never come back. I noticed many of the issues that have been noted several other peoples reviews- slow line, terrible customer service (rude and employees talking to each other while ignoring customers), and the general level of messiness that this store displayed. I was able to look past all this, because in the end it was still the delicious chipotle I love. What I just ate was not Chipotle. If you want under-cooked, unseasoned plain white rice with over-cooked beans and salsas that seem to be missing half the ingredients then by all means come here. I'm going to go find a Chipotle that can actually handle making Chipotle.
(1)Elise C.
Horrible service and horrible food! Waiting in line for over 30 minutes with a toddler - we were about the sixth customers in line - I could understand if the place was packed but it wasn't. The workers seemed to be more concerned about fulfilling online and call in orders than taking customers waiting in line! I wouldn't mind waiting for good food, but the food was horrible. I had a chicken bowl salad-the chicken was nasty and tasteless. Worse Chipotle ever!
(1)Chris L.
Horrible customer service. I will never go back. I seldom leave bad reviews and I often go out of my way to report exceptional service. However at 9:15 on a friday night my 10 year old daughter and I stopped in for take out. The tall African American women behind the counter refused to acknowledge my daughter and kept talking to other customers in line. When she finally started our order she was disinterested and then just walked out of the store to pet a dog outside! She just left the order sitting there. The place just stopped. I asked to speak to the manager and the rest of the staff played dumb " I am not the manager she is in the back" Then the worker came back in and when I commented that she bailed on our order she yelled at me. She never washed her hands before moving to the next order. She was horrible. The manager needs to go to. Went to rittenhouse deli around the corner and had some awesome Mexican food.

I've been to Chipotles all over the country and this is hands down the worst. They're sloppy and slow with inconsistent portion sizes. Someone from the head office seriously needs to send someone to Ardmore to clean up this franchisee.
(1)Jeasica C.
Let me be clear- Chipotle is one of my favorite fast-casual chains. This is a review of the staff and service at the Ardmore location only. I have been to this location dozens of times, and each visit has gotten progressively worst than the last. The employees are unbelievably rude, constantly rolling their eyes and acting as if doing their jobs is too much to ask. When I requested extra cilantro, an employee replied "we don't have that." A restaurant that uses cilantro in almost all of its ingredients doesn't have any available? Beyond the cilantro debacle, they ran out of guacamole. When I asked If they could prepare more guac, the employee sarcastically remarked "mmhmm... I don't know", then made no effort to inquire with a supervisor. I have had many dreadful experiences with the Ardmore Chipotle's inattentive, lazy staff, but today's was by far the worst. My visit to the Ardmore branch today may be my absolute last. The Wayne and Havertown locations aren't nearly as awful.
(1)Kristin W.
I came by on a Saturday at 2pm expecting to be able to grab a quick Salad with Chicken, but there was a considerable line despite the late lunch hour. After a 20-minute wait, during which the kitchen ran out of chicken (which further contributed to the delay), I was finally getting ready to pay the cashier and asked for the chipotle-honey dressing, to which the cashier said "No." When I inquired why, she said "We're out". It would have been very helpful to know that there were no salad dressing options before I had waited 20 minutes to order a salad. When I said this to the cashier and suggested they let the rest of the line waiting to order know that dressing was not an option if they ordered a salad, she gave a non-committal response that made it clear that no one was finding out about the lack of dressing unless they inquired proactively. I'm sympathetic to a restaurant being out of stock for certain foods due to a late afternoon rush, but as a customer, I would have appreciated better communication up front. I did like my salad, even sans dressing, but I have to dock a star for poor customer service.

I sent this to Chipotle via their website: First, I would like to say how much I love Chipotle in general. I have visited the location in West Chester Pennsylvania countless times as well as others when we've traveled and always have a good experience. However, the location in Ardmore Pennsylvania does not hold up to your standards. After countless unpleasant visits to the Chipotle location in Ardmore Pennsylvania I finally had to say something. The staff is typically rude, short, unpleasant and poorly trained. They truly seem to be annoyed that they have to make a burrito for me. Every person puts a different amount of food on my burrito or bowl. When I have asked for more, they have attempted to charge me for double meat/veggies/rice/beans/etc. I only ask when the amount given is far below what I typically have received at other locations. The food is always inconsistent and not at the quality level of other locations I have visited. The chicken is almost always over cooked, to the point that there are hard inedible pieces in it. I have to choose my bean choice not based on what I prefer, but on which of the two choices doesn't look extremely dried out. They are also often out of items. Additionally, it seems that no one knows how to properly fold a burrito. I am always amazed and impressed at other locations that the burrito stays together and closes. Here, however, I almost always end up having to eat my food with a knife and fork because of the sloppy job they do. The reason that I am writing this today is for a completely separate reason. After waiting in line for a half hour or more I got to the counter and said that I would be ordering 3 items (I was there alone). I was told that I was limited to 2 items because it was "rush hour." Now, I don't know if this is a company wide rule, but it is absolutely ridiculous. Is Chipotle not family friendly?? Can a mother or father not go to Chipotle at dinner time and get food to bring home for their family. Am I required to bring every person with me to Chipotle if I want to feed everyone at my home?? Furthermore, if this is a rule, it should be clearly posted at the beginning of the line and throughout the location so I don't have to waste my time. What I decided to do was walk out and go to the location in Wayne Pennsylvania. There, the food was better, the staff was very friendly, the location was cleaner and better maintained. AND I HAD NO PROBLEM ORDERING 3 ITEMS! The only reason that I visit the location in Ardmore is that it is only 3 blocks from my home. I will not be going back to the Ardmore location anytime soon, I've had enough with the staff, the special rules, and the sub par food. And being that the Wayne location is 15 minutes away, it looks like I will be eating a lot less Chipotle. Please look at the Yelp reviews, I'm not the only person to think this. And, I know this is a busy location, but that isn't an excuse to ignore and not fix the problems that exist here. I would guess management and hiring are the issue here. A new staff would probably fix the majority of problems at this location.
(1)Remi S.
Look, I love chipotle, I really do, but this one always disappoints me. Every time I'm there they're either out of rice, guac, meat, or veggies, it's ridiculous. I went tonight after work and I had my usual, they we're our of veggies and lettuce ok whatever, but then I proceed to checkout. I love chipotle so much that I know how much my usual order is. They're out of change so I pay in exact change and she tells me my order is a dollar more than usual, seriously!? I get your prices went up but I didn't get veggies OR lettuce and I have to pay more?!? That doesn't make sense to me, hence the 2 stars, and that's being nice, this chipotle sucks.
(2)J E.
Horrible, horrible customer service. The employees are disrespectful and have no problem expressing that they don't want to take your order by their facial expressions. It was my first and last time of ever going to this place. All the females do is give you attitude and stare you down. Really... At Chipotle though? Even McDonald's next door is 100x nicer.
(1)Nando F.
Well seeing my wife is spanish(Mexican descent)i stopped in to see what these guys got. Now seeing i get this anytime i want and fresher i wanted to give them a try. I went and ordered some Barbacoa tacos soft shell. I had the option for hard shell or soft. First off there wasn't alot of meat, and it was a little too chewy, wasn't shredded down enough, not too much flavor to it. The tortilla they use tasted store bought, not made in house. I guess this being a chain they need to cut some corners. They asked if i would like it to be spicy and had different options of hot, medium, or mild.. I clearly like it to be spicy and if that was their hottest then they need to go back to the drawing board and figure out where they went wrong. The lettuce they put on there looked like it needed to be thrown out, and the corn looked like they sat in a dish to long . I guess i am spoiled from my wife and her family's version of barbacoa and how they make it. The service could be better, they had one person up front and he was making the food for people ordering, so i had to wait for the girl to come up from the back .. doing what, i don't know.. but for someone to call you , for you not being at your station.. She had a bit of an attitude like i'm at fault for messing up her girl chat in the back. Place was kinda not busy , maybe she could have been cleaning a little, some of the tables were messy, the floor were sticky... the bathroom was not the greatest(had to wash my hands) I will most likely not come back to this location, they do have one around my way.. i'll try them again, hopefully its a lot better than this spot
(2)Eric S.
They are ALWAYS missing something. Whether it's cheese, salsa, forks, or a poorly wrapped burrito, I have wanted something more every time I've been to this location.
(2)Shaun S.
the line was very slow but the staff was friendly. there is not enough seating during the busy hours. the bathroom was not the cleanest but it was also not the dirtiest either. it is expensive compared to Qdoba but offered decent food
(3)Brian S.
Review This rating and review is a reflection of this particular location, not Chipotle as a whole. I love Chipolte's concept on quality food, good service and just good food. This location is lackluster on all three. 1) Good ingredients done badly. My lunch of choice is a barbacoa salad. The romaine lettuce was the worst i've experienced in any Chipotle which is usually top notch. Its not that the lettuce was old, it just lacked in the quality that I expected. The rice was under cooked and chewy. The barbacoa wasn't shredded properly. It didn't come apart in manageable pieces but in large chunks. It simply lacked the effort in getting it done right. 2) the employees here don't care. This is clear from their attitude while serving you and the little effort that is put into preparing your food. There is little or no interaction. 3) Just a bad meal. I feel that I wouldn't judge this place as harshly, if i hadn't been to numerous other Chipotle locations that did this so much better.

Ever want to feel the frustration of being in a foreign country, where you are unable to comprehend the native tongue and consequently feel rushed and bullied to complete simple transactions? Well, I actually had that experience...the local dialect? English. You see, Chipotle takes Henry Ford's assembly line concept and applies it to burritos and in so doing dispenses with trivialities like communication and comprehension. After braving the 20 minute wait or so...USSR queue-like...I finally arrived at the start of the production line. I made the catastrophic mistake of asking a question. The indecipherable gibberish of the response, rushed so that entire sentences became just a word or two, left my head spinning. I literally had to ask the same question three times, and still wasn't sure of the answer. Things only got worse as literally every worker on this burrito production line had learned the art of Chipotle-speak, where the cliche of "time is money" is applied to spoken words. My thoughts turned to the workers in the garment districts during the turn of the century. I was just glad at the end that there was something to eat, as I had no idea what the hell I ordered or received. Finally, $10 bucks is a lot of money for a pile of rice and beans. I mean really, people, you're getting flippin' rice and beans and a dollop of meat. Given the lines and the glazed look in the eyes of those eating here I can only assume that they purchased the Rosetta Stone for this dialect and were happy with the hypoglycemic crash that follows from such a huge pile of rice.
(2)Liz C.
Worst chipotle location I've ever been to. I waited close to 30 minutes for my burrito. They had no veggies so I waited for them to make it. After they were done, they gave me the same burrito, rice and beans that were sitting out while I waited for my veggies and didn't give me a new one when I said something. The people are rude and the place is a pigsty.
(1)Emily S.
This is the worst Chipotle location I have ever been to. The servers are so rude and unfriendly. I ordered on the mobile app and got there 15 minutes past the time they were supposed to have my order ready by. I went to the front counter, as usual, and told them I had already ordered via the app. They said okay, rung me up, and had me waiting without an explanation before I asked when my order was going to be ready by. The girl rolled her eyes, pointed all the way down to the start of the line, where they were just beginning to scoop rice into my bowl, and said, "It's right there." It took forever for them to make my order as the place was pretty busy. I don't know how the whole online system works, but I understand that they may have been too busy to check the incoming orders every minute. However, I think I deserved at least an apology, not a nasty attitude, and maybe some attempt on their part to try to make my order quickly since it was already 20 minutes past pickup time. I don't give it one star just because it is Chipotle and I love Chipotle. However, even though it is closer to home than the other locations, I'm going to try to make it to the City Ave. or Wayne location next time.
(2)Barry G.
I usually love chipotle . I ordered online for the first time. I for there to find they were out of rice. I don't understAnd how toy can run out of rice. The other issue was they didn't call me to tell me thAt and save me a trip. They let me drive down to say we didn't make it until somebody tells them too because I have 5 items all with rice.

I am extremely disappointed to see any negative reviews for the Chipotle in Ardmore. This is one of my absolute favorite places to go in the world. I have been coming to this Chipotle at least once per week (sometimes more) since I moved back to the area after college in 2009. The food at Chipotle is DELICIOUS, the portions are huge (I usually save half for lunch the next day), the service is good, and the atmosphere is good considering this is a "fast food" restaurant. This location is almost always busy with a line to the door, but the employees are always working their butts off and hustling like crazy. I am always greeted with a smile. On occasion, they will run out of some things, but what else can you expect? The only thing that could make me love Chipotle even MORE would be to somehow get a "free burrito for a year" card like the Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson. I have also heard about the elusive "free burrito" gold coin and waiting to get my hands on one of those! I love, love, love chipotle and was tempted to have my wedding catered by Chipotle but realized that might not be in good taste! Thank you Steve Ells!

This fast food Mexican eatery is set up like a cafeteria, you move along the line which always seems to be long but it moves fast. It's a popular place. The ingredients are high-quality, fresh and tasty. They have the usual items, so I will focus on what others might not have. Their rice is seasoned with lime and cilantro. They have a corn salsa which is tasty. You can get a burrito in a bowl with no tortilla wrap, so you can eat it with a knife and fork. You know how normally you eat a burrito, juices dripping all over your fingers and hands because it leaks because they stuff it to the gills, right? By the fourth bite it is cascading all down your arms and some of the stuffing falls on the floor and your dog gets it, and you yell at him because it's too spicy for him, right? The bowl is very easy on the poor hands. Only one napkin needed. You can add any of a number of different hot sauces in a bottle to spice up your dish if you like. The whole place is very clean, someone is constantly sweeping and wiping up tables. Service while you're waiting in line is fast and friendly, a rarity for fast food. It's fast, but it doesn't taste like fast food at all, it is a cut above.

This location has the least amount of fruit flies in their buffet line! Also only one of my friends has had explosive tendencies after enjoying their meals. I recommend a combination of the shredded pork and beef in a bowl it comes in a soup base that mixes well with the cardboard plate!

I eat in here at least once a week! I live right down the street, so I'm within walking distance. The food is always delicious!!!! The service, however, varies on who is working. Sometimes it is really fast, other times very slow. Sometimes you get a ton of rice, beans, meat, etc. Other times, they are very skimpy and you have to ask for more. Some employees are really friendly and others are cranky. But I love the food and I live very close, so I keep coming back. Free refills on soda is great. The burrito bowl is my favorite thing to order! I like Chipotle more than Qdoba because Chipotle is spicier.

I wanted to specifically write a review for THIS Chipotle location. I love Chipotle normall;y, and the Cityline location and the locations in downtown Philly are amazing. But THIS location SUCKS, What the heck is going on here? It's not a fluke either, because I made myself go back like 5 times (it's so much closer to my house than any other locations) 1) when I'm paying 7 dollars for a veggie burrito, i want a lot of vegetables. The kids who work behind the counter must be trained to put a teensy tiny scoop of every thing you ask for on, because every time I went (again just at this location) no matter which person was serving me, I had to ask for more of everything. Don;t give me the hairy eyeball when I ask for more tomatoes damnit, my freaking burrito is 30% tomatoes and if i want more give me more! I shouldn't HAVE to ask for more. seriously, they fill their already tiny scooper up half way and sprinkle it over the beans like they're doing me a favor. I feel so petty complaining about this sort of thing, but after the 4th or 5th time of having to beg for a full sized portion, i just had to write a review and bitch somewhere. Luckily, I see they are opening a new Chipotle location in drexel hill (right by my house) soon, so I will never ever have to go back to this location again! Hallelujah! AGAIN, I LOVE Chipotle, I hate the Ardmore location.

Yesterday at 4:45 they were out of guacamole, corn, and basket wrappers. Sub-Par. I eat at a Chipotle once a week and the last 3 times I've been to the Ardmore Store, they've let me down.

I am giving this place an upgrade since they finally seemed to figure out that they needed to stop hiring rude and unpleasant people to work here. Most of the people that I've come across have been much more polite and upbeat. However this Chipotle has the same problem that every other Chipotle has, which is that because the turnover rate for the staff is so high (seriously I see someone new every time I come here) no one ever knows how to prepare what I want, and I feel like I have to train someone how to make a cheese quesadilla every time I want one. Almost half the time they burn it or under cook it, and it is really getting old. The food is good but it would be really nice if they knew how to put it together.

Went to the Wayne Chipotle and wow I really appreciate you now. Ardmore Chipotle is 100x better. Employees greet you, SMILE, and attempt conversation. Wayne makes my salad, had me ask about dressing three times and was redirected three times, then after paying they tell me they're out of dressing. Will stick to Ardmore from now on! Sorry for straying

This is not the best Chipotle. First of all, the place is about 1/4 the size of a normal chipotle, so along with the line being crowded, there is barely any seating. They also started offering brown rice, but usually it is not cooked thoroughly. Plus, it doesn't really look/taste like real brown rice. I don't know what it is sometimes, but it seems like whenever you get a bag of chips, there are only like 8 chips in there. That being said, they often give you salsa that is uncharged.

5 stars for a burrito joint? Heck yes. (Oh, and it IS a burrito joint and not a Mexican restaurant so know that going in and, if you feel inclined to review, base your review on a burrito joint.) No Dara M., it is NOT owned by McDonalds. They were an early investor. In fact, organic farmer Joel Salatin (featured in the movie Food Inc.) supplies the local Chipotle with beef and pork. I love Chipotle for when I am just NOT in the mood to cook. Their tacos, burritos and salads are awesome. Try the corn salsa for a change of pace. My only complaint is the inconsistency. Sometimes the barbacoa is spicy as all get out ... other times not so. The guac is invariably amazing. Portions are huge and the burrito actually makes for two nice meals in my book (the veggie burrito is excellent cold the next day).

We were given free cards to try out Chipotle because we'd never been before. I think our experience is hopefully 1 in 200, I hope. He said: She's a mute. I don't think she speaks. She said: I think she was just new; that other girl was being mean. He said: "Communication! COMMUNICATION! HELLO! HELLLOOOO!" Bottom line: there was a scene caused from a girl working behind the counter at Chipotle. One girl seemed to be giving the other girl attitude because she wasn't fast enough and yelling "Communication" and "I can't work with her!" while we were trying to a) decide if the girl who wouldn't speak had even heard our order (she wasn't responding and wouldn't make eye contact--we're assuming she was too embarrassed to) and b) what to do next; do we proceed down the line as if this wasn't happening, or do we back away slowly.... Eventually one of the guys stepped in and took over the orders and apologized while telling the offending clerk to go to the back to 'cool off'. I know it gets crazy in fast food, but this was crazy! We had a bit of a laugh afterward, but then we realized that the girl who had huffed off was the person who cooked my boyfriend's burrito. Or should I say, not cooked. Ech. Needless to say, we won't be hitting this one up again any time soon. Although kudos to the dude who stepped in and saw that the girl losing her cool needed to STEP AWAY FROM THE GRILL, YO. My chicken burrito bowl was decent, but super sloppy and not as heated as I would have liked it to be, due to the er, confusion.

Pretty much the worst Chipotle I have ever been to. I go to many different Chipotles and this is by far the worst and most in consistent. They are always out of menu itens and you are stuck waiting for them to make it. Making it also typically consist of yelling for someone in the back to come out and do the job that should have already been done. In addition to the lack of organization and preparation the food here is horrible. Greasy chips, rice that tastes like it was soaked in lime, and worst of all fatty barbacoa. THough the food here has been pretty bad the worst part of this location are the employees. They are rude, not accommodating, and seem to be pretty bad at their jobs since they are never prepared. Avoid this location and go to one of the other Chipotles in the area. GIven this location plenty of chances but I am over the poor food. Chipotle customer service has been great about listening to the feedback though.

Did you know this place is owned by the McDonald's corporation? Weird, since it's kind of modern. Fresh like ingredients, various choices of drinks, food is marketed as if it's "hormone free' etc ( like a giant glob of meat, guac, and cheese could be healthy even if it was organic) and the staff is actually friendly. Weird. My oldest loves it here- shiny clean tables and chairs, she loves burritos and she gets to pick ingredients that look very edible and not fast food like. Decent food for being in a hurry.

Chipotle is a fabulous chain. Have never had a bad experience till I went to the Ardmore location. I found the employees to be extremely rude. I visited twice 6 months apart thinking that it was just one employee - but sadly no - it seems to be an issue with the location in general.

I love my healthy satisfying meals here. Bare bones interior but works for me.

This is the most recent franchise of the very popular environmentally friendly Mexican joint...I tried this one today and was pleasantly pleased. The food was reasonable priced; the restaurant very clean. The staff was mainly inattentive to the customers and almost seemed robotic as we went through the line...no smiles, no courtesy, nothing. I would have given this restaurant an additional star of the service was a little better. The location is in a great place in Ardmore West and features an outside patio area where you can eat on nice days. I'll definitely be back but hope the service gets better by then...

Words cannot describe how much I want to give this place 5 stars, but I cannot bring myself to give a full rating to what is essentially a chain fast-food joint. My food snobbery aside, this place is, quite simply, the tits. The food is fresh, delicious, and I am pretty sure sprinkled with crack. I seriously lash out at friends and family and shake violently if I fail to have a Chicken Burrito in my system by at least Tuesday of every week. This particular location is clean, efficient, and equipped with a friendly staff that that handles the business of skirting my Jones with proper care. Boys and girls alike, you need to get this in your mouth.

Confession: from 2003 to 2008 I wrote eight letters to Chipotle Corporate Headquarters, begging them to bring the Chipotle I loved in New York and Los Angeles to the Greater Philadelphia Area. Finally, finally, they came through... and it's awesome. I only removed one star because it's a chain, and it's owned by McDonalds, and I really don't dig that, but otherwise this place is a hit.

As always this place is AWESOME. This one has really good service too. Not sure what more I can say about Chipotle, except that they make a damn good burrito.

Chipotle anywhere in the world is as good as it gets. Clean, relaxing environment and some of the best Chips (and the best salsa) you'll find east of the Mississippi. Hard to believe this was started by McDonald's (don't let it scare you! remember - McDonald's is legit in Europe).

Chipotle is an assembly line Mexican food chain that provides fast, fresh, and delicious eats. The place is clean and the staff for the most part was attentive (we had to wait more than 60 seconds to pay the cashier who was m.i.a.). My dear friend TJ swears by the place. I personally prefer Qdoba but Chipotle is respectable and it beats the hell out of Taco Bell.

I work close by, and I enjoy Chipotle for lunch often. You can order online and pickup without having to wait in line. The staff has always been very friendly and attentive, and hard working (it's always clean and well stocked). As far as the food, you won't be disappointed. They have selections for all diets and tastes. I love their different salsas, and their chips are crispy and salted well. They have Tabasco at the napkin/cutlery station which is great for a hotty like me.

Fresh oversized burritos. Clean modern and friendly staff. Not my favorite for mexican food but a nice new choice. They get an extra star for having Mr Pibb.

This place has really improved since my last review.

I would normally give Chipotle 5 stars since I absolutely love the food but this Chipotle is just not as good as the other ones I've been to. The service can be incredibly slowwwww and they don't always listen to what you want to put into your burrito, burrito bowl etc. Multiple times, my girlfriend has asked for them to put a little bit of the medium salsa on it and they just end up dumping an entire ladle full of it on her food. Not cool. Thank goodness, the food is still delicious, otherwise I might be driving out to the one on City Ave. even though it's twenty minutes away compared to 2 minutes. I'm hoping that maybe they'll get some new staff soon but even if they don't, I'll still be going to get my Chipotle fix.

The food at any chipotle is very good but the reason I give this place 3 stars compared to the others is the quality of service and the general attitude of the people working there. I have been there a few times and am not as thrilled with this location compared to the others.
