Went here for a quick snack. And beverage. It definitely cleaned up well, but the service was a little lacking. If you weren't a regular, you got cut rate service. That being said, the muscles I got were plentiful, plump and cooked perfectly. I got the far diabolo and they were nice and spicy. I'd go back just for those. My husband had the fried cheese... Holy god in Heaven ... It was like a big fried grilled cheese that, while heart attack producing , was fantastic! Go ahead, give them a shot.

The interior of the pub is setup just as Gavins was minus the pool tables. The difference is that its much cleaner and brighter. They have a good beer selection and the food is ok. I asked if the burger was made in house and not frozen. I was told it wasn't frozen but I have my suspicions that it was. Having said that It was tasty and the fried egg was cooked correctly. I would stop in again if some friends where there I didn't leave feeling like I needed to come back.

Very impressed! We booked the larger room for a surprise party with about 50 guests and were thoroughly pleased with the atmosphere, service, facility, food, & prices. The management and staff were extremely helpful in assisting plan the party, setting up decorations and ensuring we had enough food throughout the evening. There was plenty of room and numerous tables for our guests. We enjoyed the excellent selection of food from the catering menu and guests seemed pleased with the taste/quality of the choices. The private bar in the room was a big advantage as well. Our group also enjoyed the music (DJ taking requests), darts, and beer selection later in the evening on the bar side of the pub. We will definitely be back!

Good place that can be great with a few tweaks. Solid beer list, though theres too many stout offerings for June to suit my tastes. Regardless there was good variety and quality for me to come back for a couple more. Food....Start off and say the burger was good, and we both agreed the cheeseburger soup was excellent. Now the quibbles - The buffalo shrimp appetizer was good, but could use a few more pieces in it for the price point. For an upcharge on fries, you should get a few more as well. Gripe on the wedge salad was the use of grape tomatoes instead of diced ones. Not really an issue until foods skidding across the table. Service was good. Greeted promptly, drinks were kept full and our food came out in a timely manner for dinner hour and the place was filling up.

Really wanted to love this place.... For the most part, it was good... not great. 1st off, the address is listed in Ambler... I wondered why a place in Ambler would be called "Horsham Pub". Now I know... it's in Horsham... Dahhh. We were very pleasantly greeted and promply seated. Place looks nice. seems clean, nice sports bar vibe. Sat down... was totally ignored by wait staff for 10 minutes. Finally the hostess noticed and came to take our beer order. Bartender poured.. all looked good.... but... The beers proceeded to sit there for 12 minutes. Now, I'm not really the picky type that writes reviews all the time, but in THAT 12 minutes I began to write this one LOL . The place did not seem that busy at all . There were at least 3 waitress that we saw. for approximately 8-10 tables. K... so we get the beers, (but not from our waitress), it was another waitress that noticed them sitting there. Probably in their way I guess. The beer selection is really great! Lots of draft variety. Ordered app: "Bee Sting" wings. (not from our waitress) Food came out very promptly, (delivered by other wait staff) Wings were good... a bit of a kick, but not too much.... jus' right Had 2nd round of beers... went smoother this time (finally from OUR waitress) Ordered Main dishes Food came out very quickly They had a special; macaroni 'n cheese with buffalo wing sauce and blue cheese. 'Hafta say this was really good, and huge portion. I had the fish 'n chips. Also really good (4 medium sized pieces) good portion All in all... nice place. May give 'em 'nother try... not rushing though.... they didn't LOL

Frequent the place every so often and the food is good. Especially the homemade hummus.. Staff is friendly and cordial. Can be a little dark at times with the lighting but I love all the tv's which always have different sporting events on.

Great food, friendly service and an excellent craft selection! Definitely worth a stop!

Definitely and upgrade to the old Gavin's! The atmosphere is a typical sports bar with lots of tvs. The servers are all friendly, and the owner even stopped by to see how we were doing. I've been here a handful of times and waited to review it until I had tried a bunch of menu items: - The Cheddar Alfredo Mac & Cheese is by far the best thing on the menu. Very rich, and the appetizer size is plenty of food. - The nachos are pretty good. Was happy with them the first time and just as happy the second time. - The Cobb salad was not good. The lettuce clearly came from a bag, and the toppings seemed to be pre packaged as well. - The buffalo mozzarella fries are good. - The fish and chips were good. Crispy just the way I like them! - I wanted to love the Prospectville Burger, but the egg and pork roll were way too salty to enjoy. - The Porchetta Sandwich is sandwich is great. Juicy and flavorful on a seeded roll. - The hummus is a great appetizer choice. It has a great flavor. - The Ambler Burger (BBQ, Bacon, Cheddar) was very good!

I did have some terrible experiences here in the past but after about a year off I have slowly started trying the food again. It has been a lot better but there have still been some hiccups. They need to tighten up the management big time.

WHAT A SELECTION OF CRAFT BEERS! I recently downloaded that app on my phone called 'UNTAPPD'. Its an app where you try different craft beers and rate them. This place has SO MANY craft beers! They recently updated their food menu. The wings are by far my favorite! They have so many different sauce choices and they are have priced Saturdays during the day & all day Sunday!! Not only do I love the beer and food here, this is my favorite place to watch the FLYERS! They have sooo many TVs that every seat in the house is a good seat. They also put surround sound on! The staff here is so attentive & fun! I would definitely recommend this place to family & friends!

Gotta say, this place delivers: its not only a great neighborhood bar to grab a beer and watch the game, but its also good for a casual family dinner (definitely family friendly wait staff during dinner hours). And the new menu is great! Repeat customer!

I visited here last week and I will say, the service is wonderful! Friendly staff, servers and funny bartenders. My friend and I both had a burger. It has a fried egg and scrapple on it. It was decent. You can definitely tell the burger was a frozen burger but it was good nonetheless. The flatbread we got was amazing. Full of flavor and just enough kick from the buffalo sauce. I will return here. the atmosphere is fun!

Great local place with tasty food, friendly staff and good service. Plenty of big screen TV's to watch the game and a nice choice for sitting at the bar or grabbing a quiet table. I tried the Buffalo chicken Mac n Cheese (appetizer size) and it was fantastic. Also had one of their cheese steaks and it was very good. Honestly can not wait to go back and try one of their burgers - the guy next to me had one and it looked REALLY good!

I would have liked if this place improved since we last went here, but I can't in good conscience give it another star. Service was better than the last time we were there. I had the cheese steak spring rolls, and they were good, but somewhat greasy. I realize they're fried, but that doesn't mean they should have excessive grease on them. They were served on a bed of greens which meant that the greens were covered in grease and therefore inedible. The special sauce served on the side was out of this world good though. We also got Irish nachos. They were okay, but not outstanding. Just waffle fries that were frozen, not hand cut fries which was a disappointment. Also they had jalapenos from a jar on them and not fresh jalapenos which are so much better. At least they didn't have canned cheese on them. Overall the execution could have been so much better. This place still doesn't measure up to the Jamison Pour House, but I'm sure we'll give it another try.

Food is very good ,but when the bar gets a little busy the Saturday afternoon bartender will walk by you. Unless you are a regular. 11.16.13

Consistently good food. I really like their wings and burgers. Plenty of TVs if you are into watching a game. I always get double Rum & coke with dinner, and have never been disappointed. Staff is always friendly, good food, good drinks. When in Horsham, stop in and try it!

The food was okay in my opinion. I wasn't over thrilled by it and it was my first time I had been there as well. I also wish their drink selection was larger than just beer and some awful tasting mixed drinks. It definitely was not a great place and I don't plan on going back any time soon or at all. The people were nice for the most part though. I could tell when I sat at the bar though that the one girl working looked at my friend and I and then said something to the person she was working with and he came over to us. It was clear she was trying to avoid us for whatever reason she felt was necessary.

3.5 Stars. Good all around place: sports on many (nice flat screen) tvs, good selection of craft beers on tap, good bar food (i've never tried any entrees), decent live music on certain nights (no cover). friendly bartenders and wait-staff. Darts and Golden Tee game in back area. Good spacing even when crowded. Crowd is nice folks, good mix of older, younger, and in between. Not at all rowdy or low class types. Safe and good atmosphere. (Have seen family's with younger children here at tables away from bar and seems quite fine.) Negatives- everything seems a bit overpriced. A cheese steak with say. Fried onions and mushrooms adds up to be $11 plus. Comes with chips, so adding fries a little extra. A bit dark usually. Not that anyone wants it bright- but they dim these ceiling lights really low.

So I have come to notice that food/service is hit or miss. Have had a few less than satisfactory visits recently. Not sure if it's due to newer wait and kitchen staff. Hopefully they can their consistency back.

Formerly Gavins, except someone actually took a mop, rag and brush and cleaned up that pig-sty. A few things I came away with last night (1) a clean place with a good draft menu draws crowds; this place was packed last night (2) you don't need great food nor food menu if you have good beer; the cheese steak was 2 stars, the sweet potato fries were 4 stars, the empty ketchup bottles on the table were a nuisance (3) polite and attentive servers in a three star place will get you to visit again; and their attractiveness doesn't hurt the cause either ;-) (4) as I was meeting with some old college buddies, I found that I look damn good for my age ;-)

Great for football and family! Completely different experience than the previous place that was called Gavin's Clowning Around. It's bright, friendly, smoke free and great for the whole family! The food is great and the wings are the best around! The manager Joe stops by and could not be more welcoming. If you like a local spot, this is it

Sadly, three more visits since the first one were all terrible experiences. We are not going-back. In the proverbial nutshells... One visit our table was infested with baby spiders. We moved to a new table, and another party was sat at the infested table. Really? Food took over an hour to come-out. Another visit the food came out cold. Wrong items put on our check. (The waitress laughed it off saying our table number was close to the other tables numbers in the room) Another visit not offered desserts (they wanted the table for someone else?) It's a shame since when the food is delivered hot, it is good. But this is more the local place to come in for booze or a trendy draught of seasonal beer with some food along side. No longer a nice restaurant for the family or friends. Two stars (instead of 1) for the friendly people there and the good food, when it is good. Now they are advertising Fireball shots specials... Proud to serve propylene glycol to the community!

I don't know -- I was expecting a little more. To be fair, we didn't eat a ton of their food, but what I did have I was fairly disappointed with -- and that's the wings. I would go so far as to say they were among the worst wings I've ever eaten. The problem is not the sauce -- we had the bee sting and it was really pretty good. They were also amply sauced up, so I wasn't disappointed on that front, but the meat was weird, grisly, and chewy. It was difficult to get all of the meat off the chicken bone in some cases. Undercooked? Overcooked? Poor quality wings? I don't know, but they were disappointing in a big way from a texture perspective. The place itself is nice looking and clean -- I had never been to Gavin's, but it seems like the entire place was renovated. With that said, it was a weird mix of families and bar patrons, so it just wasn't that fun in there. Maybe it livens up later in the evening (we left by 9), but I just wasn't feeling it. The place has a feel similar to that of P.J. Whelihan's, but I think P.J.'s is overall more successful atmospherically speaking. Our waitress was very attentive and was back to bring us more beers regularly. She was also quick and not grumpy about bringing us waters and refills on waters. We couldn't seem to find her when we wanted to get our check and head out, but otherwise, she did a good job. The bartenders were also very pleasant and weren't grumpy about us asking to move to a table and transfer tabs and what not. If you want a pleasant staff, this is the place to go -- I would probably bump this place up to three stars on that front, but the wings truly ruined my day. I would go back if others were meeting up there for beers (they did have a decent craft selection), but I wouldn't go back on my own.

Went here for dinner with my family the other night. Our waitress was wonderful! Very sweet and came to check on us often. They do have a good craft beer selection to chose from. We got nachos as an appetizer and they were REALLY good! But I got ribs for my meal and they were burnt and covered in BBQ sauce. Not really enjoyable. I would definitely go back, just not get the ribs! The food came out quickly as well which was great even though the place was packed!

Had a great time here...loved the live music and bar games they had. The food and drinks were great, too. We plan on coming back soon!

Waited forever for my meal. Was at a table of about 6 of us and 3 ordered sandwiches the rest ordered wings. Seems like it too forever to get the meals out and they weren't very busy. Don't go on trivia night unless you plan on playing, its loud and annoying.
