Well let's get the elephant out of the room. This place has lots of female employees with short skirts and half buttoned shirts with their boobs popping, some of them even looked to be painfully popping. Beer was cold, food was hot and delicious. Had wings as an appetizer with their signature sauce. Very good. Will I be back, sure if I am in the area. I would not make the hour trip to to eat here though. I stopped today because my buddy and I were on a road trip to jersey. 3 beers, wings, kilt club, chicken flatbread, lots of bulging breasts.. $48, Not bad, not bad at all !!!!

The food is flat out terrible.

Worst served burger ever! It was cold, over cooked, bun was just out of the refrigerator, and it was missing the fried onions. When I asked for a new one they insisted I pay for it so I refused the replacement burger and left upset. I cannot believe the server even brought it out to me and the cook doesn't belong in the kitchen.

Tilted kilt for hoppy hour. The food is so,so but the beer is cold and I love the TVs;) I will definitely be back.
(4)Luis D.
Food is bad and greasy. Service is below average, servers think they are top models because they wear kilts, show their breast, and are more or less the only females 5 miles around. This place is not particularly clean either.

Having visited multiple of TKs all over the US, I always look for something in each location that makes it stand out. Unfortunately, I've never witnessed anything unique about this particular location. In fairness, the food is decent, the place is clean, and the servers (the real reason you're here) seem friendly enough. There isn't anything that makes it better than your average TK. But each time we've been here, the food has taken a ridiculous amount of time to arrive. I've been here during meal rush and mid-day lulls, and I don't think I've ever waited less than a half hour for my food. Most recently, we arrived at 11:15am for early lunch and there weren't any other customers. My buddy and I each ordered a burger, and for whatever reason, it took almost an hour to get them. Our server kept saying she'd check on it and that it was almost ready. Not sure what happened there. Overall, I think this place works just fine as TK. You probably will enjoy yourself, and shouldn't have too many problems. But the odds are you will have to wait a while and won't remember anything unique about this place other than the delay.

We went here for the first time last week and ordered three different pounds of wings, which we heated up and ate the next day for the Super Bowl. The sauces were delicious and we loved the wings. At the bar, I had a 14oz Miller for $2.00 (special) and my wife had a 16 oz Blue Moon for $3.50. Good value. The waitresses were very nice and attractive. Overall, we liked it but next time we'll try different food. The wings were very good.

This is the second time I've ate here and after reading the Yelp reviews, I was a little surprised. I actually prefer this place over most of the Hooters I've ate at. Tilted Kilt at heart is a sports bar, even more so than the average Hooters, but much less greasy looking. It serves bar food, wings, burgers, etc. except the women are in Celtic outfits. Lots of girls with tattoos when we ate, which I thought was interesting. Our service was fine, no problems there. Food was good; I liked my herbed chicken as it was done perfectly. Friends I was with got chicken strips and BBQ dipped chicken strips which they were happy with. Overall a fine experience.

This place sucks! Or should I say one specific waitress: Trisha. I came here to grab something to eat while driving back from PA to NY. Upon bringing me my food Trisha managed to dump an entire glass of coke all over me. I exaggerate not when I say my (unfortunately white) pants were soaked with coke. But what irked me to no end was the fact she proceeded to charge me not only for the meal but the coke too! I refused to pay for the coke. I doubt I'll ever be this way again but if I am I'll be sure to give this place a miss.

First visit. My husband and I went in on a Sunday for lunch. Tia, our bartender, was very sweet. The place was empty until about 1:30. The crowd there was sketchy, old men ogling the girls, I feel bad for them...the girls that is. I imagine when they opened that location they were hoping for a younger crowd. Maybe Saturdays and evenings draw a different crowd. Food was good, typical bar food. They had an impressive selection of beer. I have to say the most disappointing thing to me is that it was clear that Tia had not been trained on pouring a Guinness. Shame on the management. That is the one thing they should do well. We had the Bloody Mary bar. It was good but after seeing the clientele this place draws, I would not do that again...I question the cleanliness. Anyhow, I'd come back, this is Allentown after all and there aren't many options, but next time I will say something to management about the Guinness pour. That was unacceptable.

I'm not quite sure what the problem is here. I LOVE the theme of the place. Great idea. I'm guessing it's a managment problem. I've gone here with friends and it always seems that something is incorrect every time. Either the drink is made wrong, spilled, the check is overcharged, etc. I remember even one time sitting at the bar with a friend and it took about 10 minutes to even get a glance (let alone an acknowledgment) that we were even sitting there. I would not allow the bartenders to have their cell phones behind the bar either. Too much of a distraction for these girls. The only reason why I gave two stars is because I enjoy the Celtic theme and SOME of the waitresses bust their ass while having fun. I'll let you figure out which ones don't. ?

We were here for happy hour and ordered a couple of items off of the happy hour food menu. We had the Celtic Poutine, meatloaf slider, corned beef and cabbage rolls, and also an order of calamari. The service was pretty iffy, but what do you expect from a girl who was only hired there because she looks cute in a "kilt" and a belly shirt? Moving on... the Poutine sounded excellent, but was actually quite gross. For some reason, the gravy had a sweet taste that resembled barbecue sauce. The corned beef and cabbage rolls were mostly cabbage and the cabbage inside was like a paste. The meatloaf slider was nothing to write home about, but wasn't terrible. Last but not least, the calamari was kind of rubbery and the sauce was like a "boom boom" sauce. I didn't expect great things from here, so I can't say much more. I'd probably come back for cheap appetizers again, but would try something different.
(3)Zack S.
Food was alright. Ordered 10 boneless wings with "kikted hot" sauce. They were ok. Parm and garlic fries were very good and the mozellera stucks were on point. Definitely a fan of the T.K. Lager (own house brand). Decent selection of beer on tap. Will return if in the area again.
(4)Mary S.
Good beer list, big menu. Mostly bar food, but with an Irish twist. Mango habanero wings are tasty.
(4)Roger M.
Honestly, this place would be way better if they just cut people off when necessary. But, if you like 4 guys yelling curse words at the bar and bringing that wholesome family feeling to eating here, by all means! The worst part is that I've seen people bring their young children here. Everyone is free to do what they want with their kids, but I will never bring children of mine here, ever. In my opinion, this place is not family friendly or service friendly. My recommendation: stay away unless you have a large party to attract service with a potentially big tip.
(1)Christine P.
We stopped here on the way home from a long trip. The service was slow. I had the hamburger with applewood bacon and a fried egg on it. The burger patty was dry. The bun was stale. The garlic fries were okay until I got to the bottom of the pile and then they were an oily blob. I ordered the pasta with butter for my two year old. It must have sat under the heat lamp for quite some time because the top of the pasta was crunchy and the bowl it came in was screaming hot. It's a good thing I grabbed it before my son did. Dad had the Irish stew, it was passable. All in all, meh.
(2)Scott S.
I love going to the kilt, I have had good experiences and bad but 90% have been good. The food is good I wouldnt recommend the boneless wings they are really small. With the new menu it seems like they are trying to become a more upscale eatery which they are not. I love the fish and chips and used to love the fish tacos but now you can't get fried fish for the tacos Hugh mistake in my eyes. Still love the place and even when the parking lot is packed there is always room in the place to sit. Never had to wait to be seated.
(4)Andy S.
This is my first visit to a Tilted Kilt. I had heard it was better than Hooters. I would agree. I like the feel of it better. The wings were good, small but tasty. I had the Kilt Burner sauce. I expected hotter but they had decent heat to them. Can't knock staff for talking more to their regulars, but hey, I could become a regular. What I did not like at all is when I returned from the restroom to find that my seat had been moved. And no one offered a reason why. Doesn't really matter, but still. I'd come back. Good times on the way to great ones.
(3)Scott S.
First time here at a last minute decision. Was not aware this place existed. Kind of feel it is a spin off of Hooters. I was told it was people in kilts. True and yes the males wear the kilts as expected. But the females wear short kilts and small tops with the push up bras. Some compliment nicely. Others glow in the dark and need a tan. The bar itself is much like a sports bar and with good food. Good for social times
(3)Patrick M.
I've been here a few times but honestly don't know why I keep going back; every trip is underwhelming. The girls are hot and dressed in even hotter uniforms (yes, it's hotter than Hooters). However, it's 2013; I can see scantily-clad women on my phone for free any second I want. Sexy women are great, but you can't have your restaurant depend solely on them. Tilted Kilt depends solely on them. The food is below average. They do have lots of beers, but none of them are off-the-beaten-path. They don't show enough pay-per-view boxing/MMA events to really justify the "sports bar" claims. Finally, their customer base are just sticks-in-the-mud. I came here for St. Patrick's Day (one of the funnest days of the year), and everyone was just getting hammered. The problem wasn't that they were getting hammered, it's that they were JUST getting hammered. Nobody was laughing, joking around, dancing or being social; they just sat down and nursed their drinks. I've drank Robitussin with greater enthusiasm.
(2)Erik A.
I think the restaurant itself has kind of a cozy feel for the larger size; you can tell it's a "chain" type place but it does have a nice feel. The "theme" is really a Hooter's but in kilts so there is no big deal along those lines. I did think that with the attention to detail paid on the atmosphere the food would be better than a Hooters - I don't like their food. Unfortunately I was greatly disappointed in the food - it was definitely on the lower scale of "pub fare." The service was sub par as well so that didn't help the overall feel of my first visit either. Looking other reviews it seems this is the trend for this place so I won't rush to visit again.

Third strike, The TK is TKO'ed. Ok, This was our third visit to the TK in Lehigh, and it was our last. Not only has the service continually been horrible, but this last time, rather than just working with us amicably, the manager that came to spoke to us (can't remember her name) seemed to give us excuses and imply that we were lying about waiting for an hour for our food. Briefly, our experiences have been: 1st visit, shortly after opening their doors, had to wait 1/2 hr for our order to be entered into the system. Computer POS system had gone down (supposedly). Ok, we could understand that with a new place and all. 2nd visit, flat out slooooooow service. Food, decent. 3rd visit, We waited for a table about 5 minutes, not bad. Seated 5 minutes before our drink orders were taken (5 of us). Ordered our food once our drinks arrived. Saw no sign of waitress or our food until 50 minutes later. Then, only to find out that one of our entrees was never entered in the system; waitress admitted forgetting.By then, we were annoyed. Asked to see manager. She comes over and says she's going to pull the ticket. Comes back with ticket of our order to say we only waited 25 minutes for our food and that is within their normal guidelines. I told her that was not possible as we had clearly gotten there an hour before. She then tried to tell me that I should not be counting the time we waited for a table, and I told her I wasn't. Now it all made sense; the waitresses sit on entering the orders! It seems like they don't enter in the orders too early so as to use this argument on days when they realize they wont get your order out in time and that they just verbally place orders to the kitchen. It seems, however, that we all made a big enough stink that they took off the cost of the forgotten item off the bill. Once it came out of the kitchen and was rushed out to us we had to have it immediately boxed it to take home. BTW, that night was a big UFC game that TK was promoting to get customers. It was also a night that was windy and rainy. Guess what... their satellite system went out in the whole place and no one got to watch ANY sports. My suggestion to ANY place that wants to be known for hosting sports on TV, don't be a cheapskate and anty-up for full fledged cable!

If it weren't for our horrible waitress, this would have gotten a 5 star review. As with any other Tilted Kilt, the food and atmosphere were amazing. Our waitress rarely checked back for drink refills, got drink orders wrong, forgot for over 45 minutes to put a food order in and put a "to go" order as a regular one. The manager was not very accommodating to the customers for the ongoing errors. I'll cut them some slack since it was opening night but one would assume that's when they should be on top of their game! On a positive note, the wings were amazing and where our waitress failed, the rest of the staff made up for her horrendous service. I'll be back but I'll make sure not to request D****e.
(3)Roz B.
Went in expecting a lot of fun with "over the top" waitresses and decent food. What we got were boring to the point of serious waitress (no fun at all....and the other waitresses acted just as bored and boring with their tables) and terrible food. When hungry or looking for a fun place to go...pass this one by.

Drinks Only Review My 1st time here yesterday & probably my last. Met my buddy there for a NYE drink in the mid afternoon. The place is kinda like a NJ strip club, they don't show much & the places are full of mostly goofy looking older guys - Sausage alert. The bartender was weak, took awhile to get a drink (bar was half full) and my buddy didn't like his weak drink & wanted to get a beer instead, she gave him an attitude. He said get your manager. Manager was fine & helpful 2 stars for the boobies jumping out, thats it
(2)Brittany S.
food is really good! service is a little lacking due to such young servers but we keep coming back for the food! I highly recommend the pub pasta.
(3)Jennifer P.
I tried the grilled sweet and spicy wings, mozzarella sticks, and sweet potato fries. Everything was on point. I also tried a regular fried wing it tasted dry and overdone. The wings are sold by the lb. They were tiny so they were at least 10-11. Wednesday is wing night so they were half priced. Service was fine. The waitress asked if we were okay ever two minutes. If you constantly need service then they are on top of it. But it was a bit annoying. We had a good experience I'd recommend anyone to try it. I saw some other menu items that I'm interested in trying. They will not be my go to place for wings. There are a few other locations I'd rather pay full priced for (even though these weren't bad)
(3)Kerry H.
Our party sat for 15min before we were even approached by the manager, not even a server. Manager said it was "shift change" and apologized for the delay. Five minutes latter waitress came over & took our drink order. 18 minutes latter got our drinks. Did not order food for fear of waiting more than 30 minutes for what would guarantee to be below average bar food. After another 10 minute wait, we were able to pay our tab & leave. We will NEVER be back! Worst service I have ever received in an establishment. Off to our local haunt where the beer is ice cold and food is great, even if the waitresses don't wear kilts!
(1)Dave C.
My wife and I gave it a try last night. Having no idea what the place was like, we were quite surprised when we arrived to see "an Irish Hooters." TVs EVERYWHERE! All young good looking waitresses and even bus boys kilted and 'wearing' the restaurant. It was a loud place, but not too loud. The dress is VERY casual. I've seen people more dressed up at Fridays. But we smiled about it and waited for a seat. Arriving at 7:30, the place was still packed. We tried to get a beer at the bar while we were waiting for a seat, but the bartenders were all over and not reading the bar very well. So we gave up and decided to wait until we were seated. Our waitress was pleasant and attentive. We started off with the Irish nachos and enjoyed them. For dinner my wife had the Gaelic Chicken over Garlic Mashed and I went with the traditional Shepard's Pie. We were both happy with the food. Not the best we've ever had -- but served piping hot (a big plus for us) and tasty. When I ordered the Shepard's Pie, the waitress asked if I only wanted one...Having seen the serving size that I got, I understand why. I'd recommend at least getting a salad or app if you're hungry -- the Shepard's Pie on its own would not have been enough for me. We had a good time and will likely go back.
(4)LeeAnn R.
Went there for wing Wed, all (4) orders of wings had to be sent back to be reheated, also got the buffalo chicken dip which had to be sent back for a reheat, not one piece of chicken in it! We had to ASK for help with our cold food and the "manager" Theresa took our food (3) different trips to be reheated! Never once offered and kind of compensation, we had to ask for it and she came back with a 5% discount, $4.08 off our bill!!!! Then we said that was unacceptable, Theresa said, "Well you did eat it, right?" Are you kidding me??? We eventually got the 4 orders of wings taken off $20.00. We will not be going back! Horrible service, boneless wings were awful and cold.
(1)JoAnn C.
Our first trip to the Tilted Kilt. Waitress was very nice, Lunch service, however, was slow. When the Swiss burgers finally arrived, they were topped with very few mushrooms that were not even warm, the cheese had no taste, and the French fries were cold. For ten dollars each, we were not impressed at all. No return visit from us.
(2)Tim M.
Waitress Diana H delivered top notch service this evening. I always observe how well, or not so well, the wait staff does their work. Diana did it just right, paying enough "attention to detail" at each of her tables. Well done. Food was great, and I look forward to a return trip when in town.
(5)Troy C.
Wasn't what I was expecting kinda like hooters accept some less than flattering bellies food was average. Wouldn't not go again but it would be my first choice
(3)Lucy A.
You would think with a party of 13 people the service would be excellent, WRONG! We SAT around waited for drinks and service. I guess our waitress was too busy flirting with the other guys from another table to come around for us. She even closed out out check before asking us if we were done, which we weren't since we were there to watch a football game and it was only the third quarter . The waitress figured that a party of 13 she had her tip secured so she didn't give us much service to say the least. We have been to Tilted Kilt in Allentown and the service there has always been excellent, so we figured we would have similar service at the Tilted Kilt in Easton which we didn't, what a disappointment. I would never recommend this place to anyone with a large party because you will not get the service you deserve . The only reason I gave this place to 2 stars is because the food was decent. When we have another large party like this we will either go to the Tilted Kilt in Allentown or another place or have the party at my house before coming to this place.
(2)Liz P.
I went here a couple nights ago with some friends and I found it to be a pleasant experience overall. We had a nice and attentive waitress, but she didn't hang around our table, which seemed to be an issue for a lot of reviewers of this chain. The food was pretty good - enough to come back, but not a culinary masterpiece. I had a basket of wings with their signature tilted sweet and spicy sauce (yum!) and everyone else at the table had beef stew/shepherd's pie and seemed to enjoy it. They have nightly drink specials, which is a definite plus. ...and for those of you that care, all the girls (that I saw) were gorgeous - so, enjoy some wings and get an eye full. : P
(4)Tom B.
Meh.....that's the best way to say it. Wings were decent....other items just OK. Service truly was slow. I get they are trying to be a nitch.......they sit at the table and chat with you......and I get they do it at the beginning when they ask if you if you've been there before, but they continue to do it to either: a) buy time for the kitchen or b) continue to do their "thing". It's just annoying......and almost like they are trying to pander for more tips. It doesnt't sell well....I'd rather them cover themselves up more with a t-shirt....and fly around the place getting food, drinks, napkins, etc FASTER. I'd give it another try......sure...why not......but this place is trying to be a PJ Whelihans, with scantlier clad women (or a Hooters) and this falls far short. The Tilted Kilt needs to keep trying. They are not there yet.
(2)Ira W.
I want to go back to the Tilted Kilt. I like the bar food - and everyone who works there was super friendly. Really.
(4)John K.
This place is strongly advertises their waitresses to get customers and all I have to say is they need to say is there are way better he place was crawling with girls but I only seen one good looking waitress. I'm not trying to be rude in this review, it's just the fact that the advertise smoking hot women and there was only one piece of eye candy when I went there, Our waitress didn't know what she was doing. If you can get over that, it is a great place to grab a bite to eat with friends. It's has great crowd plus it has a large bar. I ordered chicken fingers and they were delicious. If your going with a group of people I recommend the place to watch a few sports games.
(3)Al B.
I had some wariness after reading the previous reviews, so here goes: I didn't go for the "eye candy," but certainly wasn't affected one way or another by "the looks" of the serving staff. On the other hand, I really didn't pay attention to that particular detail. Our female server was quite nice and really efficient. The food order was taken within five minutes of our being seated and came out in a timely manner. The check was handled quickly as well. Both my wife and I really liked the food. I had the hottest wings and the jalapeno burger. Good wings - could of been hotter, but honestly, I can pretty much eat fire. The Jalapeno burger was really good, huge, moist - not overcooked at all. Really, really outstanding. My wife had the fish and chips and liked the dish very much. We definitely plan to go back for the food. Don't really care about the quality or lack thereof regarding eye candy.
(3)Dexter M.
For a sports bar, it's definitely 5 stars. And for the record, it's definitely aimed for men, with wall to wall televisions and half naked female wait staff. That being said, the BBQ pulled pork sandwich was tasty, the fries were great, and the amount of beer you get for $5 is amazing!
(5)Bruce S.
We have been waiting for this restaurant to open for some time now... and yesterday we saw that it was -- therefore we went. (Kind of a build it and they will come kind of thing...) Location: The location is a curious one, right on the border of Allentown and Emmaus area at the end of the Auto Mile on Lehigh Street. I look around and wonder if *anything* beside the McDonald's that I can see from the front can actually survive here. But the moment I walked in I was struck by the size and ambience of the place. It was like walking into a large, busy pub. That being said -- the place is VERY loud. If that's an issue for you, you won't enjoy your meal. The bar is large, there are a lot of tables and dozens of scantily clad women. Ambience: A word about the scantily clad women: the outfits are super cute. And throwing all politically correctness aside for a moment, unlike one of the previous reviewer, I found them to be very attractive in the outfits. Yes, they aren't perfect -- but they aren't plastic dolls either -- they are women. If you are going to see hotties in little skirts and bare bellies with boobs popping out, this is the place. To balance the scales, there were a number of young, good looking guys in kilts too (bus boys, no need to worry -- the cute girls are your waitresses). Let's put it this way: The girls at the Tilted Kilt make Hooters look like Old Ladies. I will, however, agree about the tattoo thing. There were a couple of girls with visible tramp stamps and tummy tats that I found killed the illusion. Not my thing... Note that while were were there they had bag pipes playing every fifteen or twenty minutes. Fun the first couple of times, annoying after that. Another notable thing: there are TVs a-plenty. Looks like a great place to have a couple of beers and watch EVERY football game at the same time. Service: Our waitress was very cute, friendly and was TERRIBLE. She got out order wrong, brought our the wrong food and our dinners came out exactly thirty seconds after our appetizers came out. Not cool. She was visible, refilled drinks when asked and corrected her mistakes quickly -- but she still made more than one. Her tip reflected that. The Food: For appetizers we ordered the Drunken Clams and Irish Nachos (they were on special for $5). They were both very good. The clams has a little spice to them, which was very welcome and the chips that the nachos toppings were on were very good. I ordered the spicy jalapeño burger, my wife ordered the irish dip (think french dip), my friend got the fish and chips and little man for chicken fingers. My burger was delicious. The meat was cooked perfectly, the mayo sauce was tasty and the jalapeños were fresh. The bun was soft and slightly warm. My only complaint was that beyond the peppers it had no hot spice to it at all. A very minor thing, but I was hoping for it. A solid A- on the burger. My buddy said more than once how he enjoyed his fish and chips -- I didn't taste it but he really enjoyed it. My wife said the irish dip was so-so. The meat was ok but the roll was kind of hard -- a definite no-no with a dip sandwich. She did convey that the sauce was delicious. I stole one of little man's chicken fingers (he's only one year old, so he wasn't going to eat it) and they were freshly breaded hunks of white meat chicken -- A+. We got a mixture of garlic fries and regular fries. I have to agree witha previous reviewers. They were just OK. I was hoping for a Red Robin french fry experience but didn't get one. A solid B. Overall, this place was great. A fun atmosphere, hottie waitstaff, moderate pricing (we all ate with apps for a total of $60) and very good food. It was made its way on our "Places to Dine List". I just reallllly hope the service improves. The girls are cute, but that only goes so far.

I have to start by saying that I have been there 2 times prior to going yesterday, Veterans day. I was celebrating my son's 23 birthday and he has never been there. I thought based upon my 2 previous visits that this would be great. Well I could never have been so wrong! Our visit started with a welcome from the hostess which made us feel that we would enjoy our visit. We were seated at a table that was for a much larger party, we had a party of 5 so this gave us plenty of room. After we were seated the waitress came over and introduced herself. I immediately asked if one of the 3 TVs that were in the area of us could be switched to the Baltimore Ravens vs Oakland Raiders game. She said that she would ask the manager and took our drink order. I have to point out that the waitress made it seem like we were an inconvenience to her. She then brought our drink order and we followed up on our request for the Ravens vs Raiders game and she stated that they could not do this. Well, as I remember on the website, they advertise that they would be carrying this game. As it turns out they had only 3 games on in the whole place. They advertise that they carry all the NFL games. Well, I then asked for the manager and our check. Well the manager (Ray?) said the "box" does not accomodate anymore than 3 different channels. So we got up and we going to find another establishment to watch the game. As we were leaving I stopped by to inform Ray that we did not drink a sip out of any of the drinks when the waitress yells you can't leave you owe me money. The manager turns and grabs the check out of here hand and yelled "I got it". Let me point out, as a Veteran on Veterans Day, I could of went many other places that offer a free meal to Veterans on Veterans day but I chose not to. I came here thinking that I have been here twice before and I had great service and the food was also good. However, I am the type of person that goes out to enjoy myself and to me that starts with great service. Unfortunately after this visit I don't know if I will return. This was totally unacceptable.

My buddy and I went there just for wings, after ordering the wings extra, extra crispy they come out just barely cook. Ok no problem so we send them back...to my surprise they deep fry the same wings load them up with sauce and put in a fresh basket and bring them out...humm I'm now beyond pissed because all that did was cook the sauce...so now being pissed and hungry on top, I ask the waitress just to order new wings extra crispy....20 minutes later bam wings the way they should have been the first time, unfortunately because of this bs we will not be returning anytime soon if at all.

I've been to two Tilted Kilt restaurants, one in Pittsburgh and the other in the Lehigh Valley. To be clear, this review is about the Lehigh Valley (Allentown) location only. I'll get to the Pittsburgh review at some point, but in short the Lehigh Valley location was leaps and bounds better than the Pittsburgh venue. Let's talk through the good, the bad and the ugly: The good. Somewhat surprisingly the food is decent. On the several occasions we have frequent the establishment we have tried a variety of classic pub fare, from hamburgers and onion rings to more British Isles cuisine including Fish and Chips and Irish Stew. If you go one the 17th of each month you get a special selection in celebration of "St. Practice Day" - where I can tell you the Scotch Eggs are fantastic (hard boiled eggs coated in sausage.) Compared to similar pub like restaurants, the food was superior. The bad: Service can be spotty. The mini-skirt clad girls and kilt wearing guys seems to spend more time conversing amongst themselves that serving tables. Perhaps it is the nature of the people who would work here, but they seem more interested in themselves than their customers. The ugly: While the girls are mostly attractive and fit, the tattoos exposed by most are quite distracting from the supposed Scottish/Irish motive. Never before have I seem such a large number of asymmetric, poorly penned body artwork. Of course you can tell I am not a fan of tattoos, but in this case it seems so out of place! I'll be back, but for the food, not the entertainment or service.

Three of us went for an early dinner the other day. After reading the other reviews I was expecting poor service. We either got lucky or they have the service problem corrected or maybe a little of both. The service was fine. Our waitress was always there to refill our drinks (sodas - it wasn't driving up our bill to refill), took our orders very well & the food Inc appetizers came out timed very well. The food was all very good. We got wings as appetizers (the hottest are not overly hot) I got the big arse bacon cheeseburger and it was cooked nicely. My wife got a pasta dish that she liked and our son got a club sandwich. The girls were nice to look at but I really don't care much about that when out to dinner one way or the other. This seems like a fun place to go with a group of people and watch a game or a NASCAR race on the many TV's on all the walls.

The food is 5 stars but it's just not my type of place. I probably won't ever go back.

I found the food exceptionally good for this sort of bar and restaurant. Our waitress was attentive, attractive and accurate. Over all it was a good experience. However I personally didn't realize that this was more of an Irish hooters, not a tgi Fridays. Took me off guard and made the experience a little awkward. I, as a spoken for man, didn't feel right gawking.

Not a bad place. The food was OK. I had their Big Arse burger and the wife had the fish and chips. The burger lacked any flavor, but the garlic fries were really good! The wife's fish and chips were pretty good. The coating didn't come off when I bit it! The menu itself needed to be cleaned. Pages were stuck together and it was gross.

I went here with high hopes and left thoroughly disappointed. THE worst service I've received in a long time. I sat at the bar, and was greeted quickly. It was all downhill from there. Took 10 minutes for her to come back and take a drink order. Then she slammed the drink down and ran away before I could even order food. That took another 10 minutes for her to come back. The wait to receive my check after finishing eating was well over 25 minutes, with me just sitting there as she walked by several times without even looking in my direction, and not listening to my trying to call her over. I know these waiting times were legit since I had little else to do but keep checking my watch. I couldn't even just get up and leave, since if paying by credit card, they insist on holding it from the time you sit down and order. One other staff member at the bar spent most of their time chatting with a group of people who were apparently her friends. It wasn't even that crazy-busy, 1/3 of the bar stools were open and there were at least 3 other people working the bar. The chicken sandwich was a disappointment. The chicken patty barely covered half of the bun. If I wanted a "bread sandwich" I'd go to Subway for half the price. Fries were not awful, just average. Presentation was awful, the sandwich was laying in different pieces in the plate, I had to re-assemble the whole thing. Yes, the female wait staff wears skimpy outfits with bare bellies. Too bad so many of them are out of shape or are covered in tramp stamps. I swear one was actually several months pregnant, and I was not the only one to make this observation. I've never actually left zero for a tip in a restaurant, but this is the closest I've ever come to it. I won't be back.

For what it is this place is a decent spot to grab a beer and watch a game. Them menu is decent...I got the sliders which were okay as well as the potato skins that were pretty good. They have a ton of beers to choose from and very large dining room and circle bar. Service was good. I would return.

My friends and I came in to watch a hockey game and we were VERY surprised. Our food was AWESOME, they were super accommodating to put the game we wanted on the TV in front of us. The girls were beautiful and nice and went above and beyond to get us anything we needed. We will definitely be going back!

First time here and quite disappointed! The wings were so little! I've seen parakeets with bigger legs! I wish there was a Hooters close by!

Going to be a great place to go with the boys or the wife to watch football on Saturday's and Sunday's. It is going to blow the competition out of the water. Great Food, Good View, A ton of TV's, Numerous beers on tap.

Now that Tilted Kilt, on Lehigh Street has been open for a while now, I am updating my review. I still find the food better than most restaurants in the Lehigh Valley, but service is now going downhill quickly. On one visit, arrived with a group of 10 during off peak time (basically only a few tables worth of customers in the entire place). This was a time frame when it was not going to get any busier for a few hours. 5 waitresses at the hostess booth, doing nothing but talking. Here was an almost empty restaurant and they were having difficulty trying decide what table to send us to. We were rudely scolded that we must always call in for a large group, then taken to a very tight seating cove near the kitchen. We were barely given enough room to eat without nudging each other. On another visit, in a group of 4, we waited at least 20 minutes for a waitress to even acknowledge us and the food took much longer than usual. The managers need to realize that if you want your business to survive, you do want customers to fill your place, even during off peak times. They should also teach their hostesses to be a bit more pleasant before they begin to send more customers away. All of the people, that were with us each time, had never been to Tilted Kilt before this. They were all so dissatisfied that they have decided to never dine their again (yes, a bunch of men, where lack of service trumped the scantly clad waitresses). So in 2 of my various dining visits, they managed to lose 10 future customers. I'll still dine their from time to time, but even my patience is dwindling quickly.

Have visited outlets of this national chain in various locations throughout the country, and was looking forward to a good experience following the tasteful renovations of a former Bennigans. Stopped in with 3 guys the Friday after Thanksgiving around 2 pm. The place was 2/3 full, a good sign, but the experience was flat. No music whatsoever, leaving the feeling we were in a morgue. Lots of nice flat panels with sports, nice looking staff - the only other thing lacking was SMILES. We all had a beer and bolted, with he assessment that you only get one chance to make a first impression, and none of us would likely go out of our way to go back. Management needs to put this place on critical care to ramp in up, fast. There are too many good places locally offering the same menu. Location is awkward to find the entrance, you have to drive through the Turkey Hill. It's only open a week, hopefully they get their shit together.

The scenery was fantastic for the male customers. The service was great. The food was just OK. My wife and my co-worker buddy had steak sandwiches that were more bread than meat, disappointing. I had a pastrami- Reuben style, that was good. The french fries were ordinary but good. We also had a Caesar salad and the dressing was different and not so good. Good place for the guys though! Prices are a little high, typical for a Pub.

This place is okay, the food is good, the service is good and the girls, well.... they're why people go I suppose. We had to wait about 10mins for a table at 6:30pm on a Friday night. Our waitress was prompt in taking our order. We got our food in about 15mins (although our main courses came out before our appetizers). We both got Pastrami sandwhiches which were good. I hear the cheesesteaks aren't good. The drunked clams were spicier than I expected but also good. Our waitress was attentive and the price was reasonable. We would go back, nothing out of this world but standard pub fare.

Ok. Scantily clad girls in a pub/sports bar environment. I get it. But once you've got your fill of the scenery, you're going to want to eat your food. Or are you? If you're looking for authentic Irish dishes, forget it. Their Fish and Chips were tantamount to two McDonald Filet O' Fish stacked against each other. Soups so salty, they're inedible. Shoddy service didn't enhance the experience. If you want to have a few beers with your buddys and ogle the girls - fine. Just don't eat here.
