Jess and I ate the same thing for dinner here. A chicken Gyro that came with chips and a few pickle slices. We both also got by far the very best Manhattan Clam Chowder. I have never had a soup so good with a rather generous amount of clams as well. I also had coleslaw. It was a bit pedestrian for my tastes. But the Gyro and the soup were absolutely fabulous ! Our service was perfect as well and we ate here on a Friday even too. Very friendly and attentive. Personally I don't need an automatic refill on a drink unless I am parched because it's mad crazy hot out. We also played mini golf here too. But the restaurant is far better.

Not too bad. Best part about this place is the price, the service and amount of food they give. The waitress was friendly and nice, and very helpful during our visit. 3 of us had 3 Sunday specials and it was under $25. I got the pork chops with mashed potatoes, which came with apple sauce, soup, salad and a dinner roll. Definitely a lot of food for under $9. Pork chops were okay, as was most of my other food. I didn't like the mashed potatoes. I don't know if they were instant mashed potatoes, but they had the gritty taste of instant. Had to add a lot of butter to make it palatable. My family had the liver with onions, along with the same sides as mine, except they had baked potatoes instead. They liked their food just fine. Overall, a good place for families looking to feed everyone without paying too much.

This is my wife and myself second time here. The food is good and the menu is packed with a bunch of great comfort foods. I recommend the open face roast beef sandwich and the tuna melt. The service staff is very pleasant and best of all the prices are very good. This also is a great place to plane watch.

I love this place for breakfast, the food is always great. The service is fantastic! I have not tried it for lunch or dinner tho.

The mini golf course was ok. There is a large water feature in the middle that was about 2 feet low on water and looked like a cesspool. The greens all had debris - little stones, leaves, etc that affected the way your ball rolled, which is frustrating. There are holes where you send your ball through the first hole and it is supposed to send it through a tube and into the hole, but your ball ends up somewhere else on the green, which is annoying. Also, the holes are not numbered, so the group behind us got confused, and our group kept having to check our score card to see what hole we were on. While we were paying for our game, a second employee came behind the counter and kept interrupting the guy helping us, so it took twice the time it should have to get us on the course. This could be a good course with a little more attention to detail and a little concern for how things look and feel for the customers.

Great local restaurant especially for breakfast. Not fancy but good home food.

In terms of local area mini-golf the Oasis is a good place to take kids because the course is not so punishingly hard that they will lose interest. In terms of ice cream their stuff is pretty good because like the lady at the counter told me: " We have a little extra fat in there and that's what makes it taste good ya know. No fat, no flavor I always say." In terms of the food I can't imagine many places that could be as bad. Chicken Parm that came out looking deep fried with a hard blackened crispy outer shell on it that you can only find at cheapo dutchy diners. Mashed potatoes that were a 100% tasteless glop of garbage and the service that was "interesting" to say the least. The server was a little overwhelmed trying to get thru all of the people around the ice cream counter and was walking around/thru them at a very loud level telling everybody in her way to "beep, beep and get out of the way". I guess excuse me is out of vogue these days? To go here for the mini-golf or ice cream is a good idea as the price is reasonable and both are good. But to sit down and and have dinner is a mistake the you don't want to make.

I've been eating here for the last 25 years. My family has always gone for a good fast home made meal. Price is right the food is better then diner food. I love their soups n they make great steak sandwiches outside of Philly.

This is my least favorite of the local diners, but it's the closest to where I live. I went for breakfast, and that was decent. How hard is it to screw up over easy eggs and toast? Coffee was diner coffee...service was more than pleasant. The bulk of this review comes from a lunch experience on a busy day in the summertime. Let me say first that it was packed. If the restaurant is under-staffed, I can't blame the server for slow service...that's the restaurant's fault. Service was slow, but more importantly, I seriously disliked my meal: a hot roast beef sandwich with gravy and a cup of chicken soup. This is a diner staple meal for me...hot sandwich and soup. The roast beef on the sandwich was dry, flavorless and fatty. It tasted a little bit like it was overcooked, reheated, and then sat around on a plate for a while. The gravy was overly salty. It may have come out of a can, it tasted slightly institutional to me. I don't mind pre-made gravy, but it should be flavorful but not overly gloppy or salty. This was both. The potatoes that came with it were extremely bland, and probably instant. And the most disappointing was the soup. I love a good chicken noodle soup. This, however, was so salty, I couldn't eat it. Again, I can tolerate a lot of salt, but it was inedible. Because the service was slow, I gave up on getting something else or sending it back (and I don't really like to do that anyway), so I ate what I could. Let me also say that I will eat just about anything and am not hard to please...but I was seriously disappointed in their lunch. I would go back for breakfast or for ice cream.

We've mostly been going here for b-fast, but that will change w/ the warmer weather. They have mini-golf right on the premises & a decent selection of ice cream & sundaes! My hubby really likes this place for their breakfast quesadilla wrap w/ salsa & sour cream. I like their blueberry pancakes. The food is adequate diner food, so don't expect anything too fancy. The staff is friendly enough & you can seat yourself if the place isn't too busy. Very kid friendly. UPDATE - I'm upping to four stars because I ordered their chicken gyro & the meat was the sliced, seasoned chicken like you would get from a spit & not just pieces of reheated chicken. YUM! The mini-golf is open. The course is fairly easy, so bring the young ones! & don't forget to get ice cream inside the restaurant @ the counter before leaving!
