Came in for lunch today with my lady. :-) The Allentown roll was amazing. We also really enjoyed the perfect match roll. The lunch all you can eat menu is small but it's only $9.99 so enjoy the gems it has on it. I know I'll be back to check out the dinner menu. Service was good too our waitress was polite well spoken and attentive. Thanks for a great lunch!

Amazing, just amazing. This is the only place in the area that I know that offers AYCE sushi besides the Chinese/Japanese buffets. Lunch is 9.99 and dinner is 19.99 and the sushi quality is just as good as some of the more expensive places like Kome. Soup, salad, and appetizers are also included. Highly, highly recommended.
(5)Nuria L.
Some of the best sushi in town for a great price. I've been to many others like Kome and none of them compare to lily's specialty rolls, the Walbert Ave roll is really good, same with the Allentown Roll. Bottom line, the sushi is great; the place is pretty and the servers are friendly, but they could stand to pick up the pace a bit.

We really wanted to like this place, because we love sushi, but it didn't happen. The service was wonderful and friendly, but the food was sub-par. Sushi pieces were small and not all that fresh. The rolls were huge but too much "stuff" smothering the rolls. The sushi chefs were very sweet giving us a free fatty tuna sample, but it was still frozen and was more like a tuna slush. We won't be going back or recommending.

Sitting at Lily's dumfounded after being served apps after main dish and sending back dish because chicken while seared on outside was raw inside. Got a whopping 10% off bill. Never again.

I'm impressed. Exceeded my expectations given the '$19.99 All You Can Eat' sushi dinner offer. The sashimi was fresh and tasty. My babe liked the hibachi. Angel, the bartender, was very informative and cool. The interior is in need of some coherency as far as style is concerned. And the bar's exposed soda boxes are not appealing to look at but the food is good. Did not see the dining room, so I cannot speak to that. Will come back and order online for sure!!

Mediocre food and service throughout. My stir fry dish was served cool the first time it was brought to my table and only mildly warmer the second time. (And that's stir-fry, people, which is usually piping hot!) My wife's duck was subpar, too -- lacking in flavor. Salad (which was served after my entree arrived) was swimming in dressing. Ugh. Our server seemed unprepared but was apologetic. We were really hoping for more as it's close to home and a locally owned place. Hope they get their act together.
(1)Lauren S.
Food was great, but I agree with the other reviews that the service was sub-par. But HONESTLY, what do you expect from a place where people are ordering AYCE sushi?? They were sooo busy filling orders. We ordered 6 sushi rolls at one time and I'm sure lots of other people were doing the same thing. I will return again, very soon. It was worth the $$ and worth the wait.

You can't judge a book by it's cover, this place is very unsuitable and dirty the servers have no manners and very unprofessional red hair and looking beastly blue hair all crazy and than eye piercings etc. The owner isn't very nice and food takes forever or our server forgot as she laughing in back room. Don't go you can go to a buffet and be happier serving yourself!
(1)Hady Y.
Best sushi restaurant in Allentown. The food is amazing the appetizer are delicious, 19.99 all you can sushi you can't go wrong with that, friendly staff and good service, coming back for sure.. Keep up the food work
(5)Amy E.
I love this place! Service is always excellent in the bar area and the owner is very involved. The food is good and the bartenders are knowledgeable.
(4)S W.
This is my new favorite place to get sushi in Allentown. The sushi is fresh, beautifully presented and very fairly priced; the service has always been pretty good. I haven't tried their Chinese dishes yet, but the Thai ones I've had have also been very good. The restaurant is a little out of the way from main roads and highways (Tilghman and 22), but so totally worth it!
(5)Skyler W.
My expectations were pretty low based on other reviews. The sushi was just ok but for $10 all you can eat lunch it was decent quality. Probably could charge $15 and get away with it. I had seaweed salad and hot & sour soup as starters and tried 4 different rolls. The spicy tuna was just "meh" but the other stuff was good enough. The server (Ivana) was a bit frustrating. I had to keep waiting and waiting for a freaking napkin. She kept saying "oh yeah ill go grab that napkin" then would forget each time she brought something out. Can a guy wipe off his face!? Apart from that she was nice enough and helpful. I'm giving it a 4 not because of great food but because it is more than you'd expect for the price tag. Dinner is $20 and unless the dinner rolls are MUCH better it's probably asking too much. But I can't speak to it. Give it a shot. Don't expect to be in and out in 5 minutes though. Definitely a sit and wait type of joint. Decent atmosphere.

Decor nice Ambiance nice Service Very slow Also not too keen on the assumption that as a big person I am coming just for the AYCE option..I wasn't. My wife and I had originally planned to have what was listed on the online menu as a sushi bento box for $11 but that item was nowhere to be found on the actual menu, they should probably consider updating their online menu. We considered leaving but instead opted to try the Teriyaki Bento Box..My wife got shrimp and I got Chicken. We both also chose the brown rice option. Both were off to a great start with probably the most flavorful miso soup I've had anywhere in the Lehigh Valley with fresh shiitake mushrooms, chive & french's fried onion bits. The only think I didn't much care for was there was a mushroom stuck to the bottom of my soup bowl which made me think that I wasn't eating out of a clean bowl. The Salad with Creamy Ginger dressing and a chunk of cucumber I thought was quite good but my wife thought was too soupy. Then the meal came. The Bento Box was huge. The Shumai shrimp dumplings were good, the brown rice was good, I also liked their brand of soy sauce thought it was very flavorful. The tempura shrimp, broccoli & sweet potato was good but my Chicken Teriyaki was less than impressive and worst of all was the flavorless California roll that came with the meal. People rave about the AYCE sushi..and I'm sorry but if had to base this review strictly on the roll that came with my bento box you could be sure I would never eat here again for the sushi..bleech..There are better places in the Lehigh Valley to go to for that. I had also hoped that by choosing the brown rice option which was a dollar more that they would've made my roll with the brown rice as well, which lead me to feel that the sushi isn't fresh or made to order. The green iced was good. Took a really long time for our waitress to bring us a box and then the bill. Really, not that busy to warrant such slow service. Why no chopstick option ? This is the only time I've never had that option. I guess they only give you chopsticks when you order the AYCE sushi..which is kinda funny because sushi is finger food. I'll stick to Ichiban & One Third when I am jonesing for sushi.

For $10 ayce sushi, I'd come back. The first round of sushi and appetizers arrives in a decent amount of time, but after that, the waitress takes forever (15 minutes) to come by again for more orders. There weren't that many people there, maybe like 4-5 other tables--so it was weird that we didn't see the waitresses often. They're pretty slow to clean up the finished plates/dishes (we stacked them) and refill drinks. A few of the things we ordered and were pretty good were: Allentown roll (fried), Philadelphia roll, spicy tuna roll, king roll, etc. The dumplings were really good, and the seaweed salad wasn't too soggy-like. Miso soup lacked tofu cubes, but the broth was pretty good. They also offer brown rice instead of white rice, but it's an extra $1 per roll. I also asked about an appetizer that didn't come in the first round, and she tried to claim that we didn't order that appetizer. We only looked at her blankly, beginning to doubt ourselves... and when she gave us the order paper back it clearly said we ordered it. So maybe she just forgot... or didn't look at that part of the paper? Anyway, the rolls were really good, and make sure you know the rules to the ayce sushi place, they charge for any uneaten pieces. And it was convenient that the waitress knew that we wanted to split checks.
(4)Allen F.
The only roll I liked was the eel roll and the dumplings. Everything else was just not very good tasting to me. I told Tanya I did not like the food and she still made me eat it which I thought was very rude. DO NOT EAT HERE!
(1)Bryan M.
So.. great concept, but trying to get a refill on sushi or tea is a complete project.. actually had to waive server down.. then the people who make the sushi talk shit when a person orders more than 1 roll.. Reminds me of a tattle tale running to the owner/manager saying he order more than 1 roll for 1 person.. really dude? Iam actually watching the staff argue as I type this..lol.. been 20 minutes since I ordered a tuna roll wtf.. now she cant find my order.. this place sucks... 5 people dining in here...30 minutes now.. someone just returned something and the sushi guy put it back for someone else... really? I finally receive my order that sat on the counter for 10 minutes due to the incompetent waitress (that received $0 for a tip).. no wasabi or ginger on the plate wtf.. I ask and wait.. she came back and I dont know where she got it from but not where the first wasabi and ginger came from this came from where she took the used dishes. . Hmmm.. not eating that.. then she brings my bill assuming iam not ordering anymore and never returned... iam leaving Make sure you read all the rules on the menu! Really? Rules? I came here to relax and have a good lunch.. not to have to think the entire time. Nice try.. sushi was decent not the worst and definately not the best.. I will never return here due to the rules and attitudes.. dont have all you can eat if your going to be goofy to your customers.. honestly I would have rather just paid for each thing I ordered and relaxed and enjoyed.. if 0 stars was an option that is what this place would get.. for those of you that rate this place more than 2 stars.. you need to get out of allentown more often and experience real cousine...
(1)Cristina C.
The dinner all you can eat sushi is pretty amazing for the price, it's fresh and fast... my reasoning behind the 2 stars is the service. My first time there I went alone on my lunch break to enjoy some 9.99 all u can eat and catch up on some charts. I ordered 3 rolls and the nice woman (sarcasm) told me that that was enough for one person and took the menu away.. who was she to tell me how hungry I was??? Sooo again I was there this past week with a friend for dinner and guess who waits on us.... Ms.Nice Woman. We ordered edamame and 5 rolls whelp she told us that 5 rolls were TOO many and that she'd bring out 4 and if we finished (like good little children) we could have the fifth roll!!!! Again she took the menu away WTF!? I understand the no waste policy you pay per piece yada yada... I get it, I hate to waste food but for f***s sake we are two adults btw a banker and surgical assistant we CAN AFFORD leftovers. Nevertheless the food was very good, especially the Snow White Maki it was our favorite but the "service" left a bad taste in our mouths, no pun intended. I doubt I'll ever go back.. first time shame on you, second time shame on me.

Wonderful, quality sushi! It's pretty quiet there, I'm surprised it isn't more popular. Pricing is decent. About the same as regular sushi prices, but they offer deals that I was able to take advantage of for discounts. The sushi is very good quality, salmon are fresh, there's just enough rice on the rolls, no excessive rice. There are also Chinese food available here, though I only focused on the sushi. Overall, I rate it 5 stars.

I visited Lily with my fiance and one of our friends, expecting something not quite stellar but still enjoyable. There is quite a bit on the $20 all you can eat sushi dinner buffet but.......I would rather get my heart pulled out like the gentleman in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom than ever eat here again. My meal began with a flat Yuengling Lager from the filthy bar. Then we ordered some egg and spring rolls from the all you can eat menu. These were actually quite decent, and the only bright spot from the meal. We moved on to sushi next, which was as disgusting as you can get. The rice was cemented on the rolls, and once you were finally to disengage it with your tongue chewed with the consistency of gummy bears. The sushi was not freshly made, there is no one who can convince me otherwise. Whoever recommended the Allentown Roll on here, please check your mental status, it was terrible. They stuff it with a glob of cheese that comes out of the roll like Elmer's glue when you bite into it. The regular tuna rolls were average, Pink Lady was eh, just not very good sushi. Ultimately, it is a $20 all you can eat buffet, so I was not expecting the quality of sushi like you get at DM Sushi in Palmer (if you have not tried it you must!) but it was just all around not a great experience. I will say though that our service was impeccable, which seems to be the complaint of many on Yelp. The food was just subpar.

ordered take-out for lunch and got five different kinds of rolls: california, spicy crab, spicy tuna, shrimp and avocado, and chicken tempura. apparently the shrimp and avocado roll was not supposed to be on the lunch menu, because instead of giving us our food when we picked it up, the woman holding our food completely ignored us and berated a server for allowing us to order it. we ordered general tso's chicken and specifically asked to substitute tofu instead of chicken, but our request was also ignored as we were given chicken. there was a soup missing that was ordered as a part of a combo. we also discovered a large piece of plastic wrap in a cheese wonton. my advice: don't order online, as the menu must be outdated, and based on another review i read, watch out for rogue pieces of plastic. the sushi is good, which is why this review is two stars and not one.
(2)Ed S.
I've been here a few times. Twice for take out lunch and once for all you can eat sushi. As for the lunch, I was very happy with the General Tso. I had to stop eating Chinese because I couldn't find a place that used quality ingredients and seemed to be up to date on their health code compliance. Lily passed both of those tests. The portion was alright and it looks like they used white meat. The AYCE sushi for 19.99 was great. There were tons of options and you don't have to get just sushi. Katsu, dumplings, teriyaki, and tempura were all available. The sushi was very good quality. The ordering was very confusing since our server didn't explain how we were supposed to fill out our order or how to order the second round. Also, there's an ominous warning on the menu that says they'll charge you for each uneaten piece. It lists the price for each type of charge (ball of rice=0.50, etc). I felt like that took a little bit away from my enjoyment. I mean... I understand, and it's probably just to scare habitual food wasters, but I felt like I was getting yelled at before I started. Overall, I liked it and I'll continue to go there.

Saw the sign for all-you-can-sushi while driving to work one day and was impressed with the pricing ($10 for lunch, $20 for dinner). The sushi here isn't the best that you can find, but considering the area and the price, it is absolutely worth a trip (and several repeat visits...). The lunch menu is decidedly sparser in terms of selection as compared with the dinner menu. However, it's hard to say that the dinner options are worth an additional $10. Service is really the limiting factor in the AYCE experience. If you come at the right time, with few other people in the restaurant, it's ok - still not great because the waitress randomly disappears even though it doesn't appear like she's busy serving other parties. But if it's busy, forget it - even if you get an attentive waitress (which is quite rare), the kitchen is so backed up with orders that it still takes forever to get your sushi. I'm between 3 and 4 stars on this one - 4 stars on a good visit when service is good and I'm the only one there eating; 3 stars if it's busier and I'm waiting 15-20 minutes for my food.
(3)Ted T.
decent sushi, good not great. you pay one price and eat all you want... but getting service and the next serving is SLOW ( I think it is a business tactic ). I would go again, but it is not like OMG sushi, it is alright
(4)Jill B.
Went to Lilys today with coworkers to try something new for lunch. Our server was friendly, the $9.99 all you can eat sushi gives great options for the price, and there's options to meet most dietary needs. The only downside was the salads and also a shrimp lunch dish ordered by part of the lunch party seemed to be drenched in a lot of dressing/sauce which left them wishing they asked for it on the side.
(4)Simon W.
The owner who was privately messaging me since I made my last review. I thought they might take my advice, but instead they downgraded their Lunch menu. Instead of adding to the lunch menu, they decided to take things out. The one thing I was looking forward to was the Shumai, but they got rid of it. Instead make the dinner "cheaper" so they decided to have less food on the lunch menu. I highly doubt people during dinner would be ordering shumai. The owner is Asian! Asians eat "dim sum" for breakfast and lunch...not dinner. This is an obviously a bad decision. I heard others also complaining within their groups that the menu for the buffet has diminished. I don't think I'll come back here again. I can go to a few chinese buffets around the area for $6.99 to $7.99 with the same amount of sushi varieties plus the usual chinese buffet dishes they have. The other dishes that we ordered was a disappointment. Do yourself a favor, even if you have to try this place. Go for their sushi only. When a restaurant starts mixing all different culture food in the mix, they aren't simply good at what they are doing. Thai Curry - bad Fried Rice - bad Bourbon Chicken - it's not even bourbon. Stick with their sushi and you are good to go. Dinner was originally $25.99, but to make it cheaper to $19.99 they decided to make the lunch menu crappier. NY has these $10-$13 lunch sushi buffet and they offered a few pieces of sashimi and other type of dishes and not just rolls by the way most of their rolls are tuna and salmon either spicy tuna, spicy salmon jalepeno tuna, jalepeno salmon avocado tuna/salmon you get the idea I'll admit that they have a few rolls that are good. I'll come here again if I don't want to drive far for some sushi and only SUSHI.
(2)Russ T.
My bad -- The price for dinner is $19.99. I do need to get there to try the dinner menu. Lunch was very good and I would think that dinner will be
(4)Jeff B.
I love this place. The sushi is very good quality and the prices are incredibly low for lunch and dinner all u can eat . The owner and her family as well as the servers are all friendly. I stopped going elsewhere and eat here quite often. I have yet to have a bad experience. I highly recommend it. They have a nice bar as well and the restaurant is very big so there is never a wait.
(5)Tyler K.
Service is slow. Waitresses are jerks. We have four people getting the all you can eat. My nephew is also here but he just wanted a few fries and a plate of dumplings. So we got it off the all you can eat because who charges a two year old for some fries and dumplings. The lady ran up to us and said "you can't do that and that she will be charging it. " place is upping prices and appears to be going down hill fast.
(3)Jeremiah S.
My fiancé and I decided to check out this restaurant out with a few friends for its all you can eat sushi for $19.99. First the positive,The sushi was great. They had some great sushi roll choices I've never seen like a sweet potato roll. I see that some people complained about the fact that they charge extra for leaving any food. This didn't bother me because it has been standard to other all you can eat sushi places. The negative side is the service was slow. The waitress we had was nice, but would take forever for us to see her. The odd thing was it didn't seem too busy. If they fix the speed issue it be more of an enjoyable place to eat sushi with friends.
(3)Lori S.
Went here for Valentine's Day and got their all you can eat sushi. I liked that they made it fresh, made to order. However, the scary part...don't over order because whatever you don't eat you are paying an additional fee to either take it home or for it to be thrown out. Their apps were very good. You get to choose from alot of items on their all you can eat sushi menu. The rice was warm. I believe they must have ran out of rice and had to make more, but no one wants warm rice with sushi. For the price, it was good. Otherwise, not my favorite sushi place.
(3)Chris W.
I read many yelp (and other) reviews of this restaurant and decided to give them a chance on a Saturday night around 5pm. Atmosphere - average, very spacious in the dining room, like they removed a few tables. For a sushi based restaurant, I expected the sushi bar to be a focal point, but it is in a corner of the dining room and not easily seen. But the time we finished at 7pm, it was full with a few couples waiting. Service - made online reservations through yelp, it was not busy when we arrived, so we were seated right away. Our server provided courteous and prompt service, although she didn't know some of the sake selections when we ordered. We had to ask for some drink refills and some other small items, but nothing major. The fact that they want one AYCE sushi sheet for the whole table was a little awkward since we were there with another couple. Food - we got the AYCE sushi. We were impressed with the selection of salads, soups, apps, and desserts that were also included in the price. And they were small plates, so you could order several while waiting for sushi and not be too full. The sushi was good, slightly above average. It had some good flavor, although the sauces were a little "heavy handed" and shrimp in the tempura roll was small. You can't really expect sushi on the level of The Other Fish or Morimoto for only $20. For the price, it is a very good deal. We would go again.
(3)Nathan T.
Went in for the 19.99 all you can eat sushi. Good selection, you have to eat all your food or they charge per piece. Order a couple rolls at a time so you don't have to wait too long.
(4)Mary M.
Our go-to sushi spot. We eat there every 4-6 weeks and are never ever disappointed. This is so not a buffet. It is freshly prepared all you can eat sushi made individually per order. The menu is outrageous. Such attention to detail and quality. Service is consistently wonderful. Clean beautiful atmosphere. Perfect for families, groups of friends or a date We usually order three rounds a piece followed by their unforgettable green tea ice cream (also all you can eat!) Love
(5)Kevin R.
Went here on a business lunch. Food was middle of the road. I ordered General Tsos chicken and asked for it very spicy. It came out and it was a large, plump portion, texture of it was terrific, but where was the spice? I could not finish the entire portion! The fried noodles with duck sauce were spot on. The noodles were crunchie and not those super cheap noodles you see at some places. These were thicker noodles, nice crunnnch! I ordered Jack and coke, it was very watered down and I could barely taste any whiskey in it. All in all, it was a good dining experience. If they learned what "very spicy" meant, they would have gotten another star. PS - the delivery of the food was quick and swift!
(3)Kallie B.
I can't believe this place is only a 3/5 stars on yelp, don't be fooled, it should be 5/5! Took a friend from out of town to Lily's Sushi. The rolls were surprisingly delicious. Good options and they don't try to snub you on the rolls, they are good sized and very tasty. Prices are great! Definitely will be back!
(5)Callum M.
Cute waitress this afternoon! She was the highlight. The food had plastic in the food called over a manager type and she stuck her finger in my food and removed the plastic then said "it's okay" . GROSS.. Additionally the spicy shrimp roll was shrimpless in 2 pieces. Not going back
(1)Sarah S.
All you can eat sushi!! $9.99 before 3pm M-Sa. The sushi is so good and the service is accommodating, our server made sure we were satisfied and had all we wanted!
(5)Jill K.
I've been to Lily a number of times ordering both off the menu and the all-you-can-eat sushi. Everyone was very happy with the menu selections and the price on the all u can eat is definitely worth what you get. The selection on the all you can eat dinner menu is great, giving a number of hot appetizers, soups and desserts and an entire page of sushi options. Whether u want sashimi, nagiri or maki (or all three) you have a large number of choices and everything is fresh and tasty. I'm sure you can get better sushi in large cities, but for the Lehigh Valley this is one of the top places I've tried. My favorites have to be the Lily roll and the snow white Maki roll. Also the shumai, dumplings and crab Rangoon are great for starters while your waiting on you fresh sushi feast. Try Lily if u want sushi in the valley.
(5)Andy G.
Apparently they caught a hint from all the constantly empty tables and now offer $10 all you can eat sushi. Buffet style and still the unoriginal run of the mill fare, at least you're only paying ten bucks for it.
(2)Maureen M.
Really great sushi and Chinese food..we had the peanut avocado sushi was yummy and the sesame chichen was crunchy and juicy! Really great!
(5)Bill R.
It is really not my style to compose an inflammatory review for a restaurant because I tend to always look for the bright side of things, and I can usually find them. But I sincerely believe that the manager or owner of this restaurant ripped me and my date off. This restaurant seems to be making a decent name for itself, at least in my small circle of friends, due to the all-you-can-eat sushi buffet. Not only that, but the buffet is half-price before 3:00. Who wouldn't want AYCE sushi for approximately $10? Now, the bad part -- and reason for my negative review -- is the fact that my date and I got to the restaurant just a few minutes before 3:00, and the hostess (after checking with management) refused to make good on the lunch price, effectively making the meal cost twice as much as it should have. I'm sorry, but this is a bad business practice, and one that cast a shadow on an otherwise excellent meal. My date agreed that the both the sushi, appetizers, and green tea ice cream were all actually quite good. However, the fact that I had to pay double what I should have to me means that my meal was half as good as it should have been, making a four-star meal a two-star review, minus an additional star for lousy waitstaff. I'm sorry to say that I won't be returning to this place until management gets their act together.
(1)Jamie T.
all you can eat sushi.. Was fairly decent... Nice atmosphere and good service.. Ayce menu was a bit small and consisted of a lot of spicy salmon an spicy tuna as main fish in rolls as opposed to sushi style fish in rolls.. I've been to many ayce sushi restaurants in ct, NYC and nj as I travel a lot for work but would return here again if in the area..
(3)Jerry H.
I can't say enough about this place!!! Love there food go here a lot and can't beat the price for the all you can eat lunch or dinner! There food is always fresh and great, i never leave here hungry!! If you love like or thinking about sushi this is a must goto!
(5)Jenn F.
walked in. hostess stared. and mumbled. underage for sure sushi chefs and bartender are friendly an older female server kept staring and squinting me while i was sitting at the bar hardcore rules on the menu sushi is decent and nice decor cocktails are subpar
(2)Brian P.
They just started offering an all you can eat sushi menu. It's 19.95 and has a great selection. The quality is very good, would recommend to everyone that likes sushi in the Lehigh Valley area.
(5)Hollian W.
Food was decent for the price, but they were slow getting anything I needed and the waitresses seemed to be bickering all night. Bartender was inexperienced and kept asking from help or spending forever looking at drink recipes. Eh.. I'd come back for the all you can eat sushi, but service sucked
(2)Douglas N.
Have gone to Lilly twice. Like a fine wine they continue to improve with age. The wait staff were very attentive and friendly. The sushi was very good with some interesting choices among the speciality rolls. What I particularly liked was that the rolls were not covered in thick sauces that many sushi places in Allentown area use on their speciality rolls. My wife took home some take out tofu dishes which she said were also very good. Will definitely go there again. Seems like many of the negative reviews were early on when they first opened.
(4)Jay C.
I decided to try this place out by ordering take-out. For 6.95, I received a small portion of beef lo mein (didn't even fill the container) and a small cup of hot and sour soup. I was really not impressed mainly due to the portion size and price. If Lily wants to compete, they need to offer $5 lunch specials similar to China King and they need to provide larger portions. The lo mein itself tasted good, but i'd rather go elsewhere if given the choice.
(2)Becki S.
My husband and I just had the AUCE dinner for 19.00 pp. We both thought the sushi was fresh and will be back again. I may just order off the menu because I really can't eat as much sushi as I thought I could! The waitress was wonderful! I had a Washington Apple martini and it was good.
(4)Nate D.
decent food a little awkward with the whole all you can eat dinner,to many rules for my taste and extra charges if you leave food or take it to go is kinda BS,it was pretty dead in there and I can see why, they need to revamp or take a different approach to how they run things...no one wants to be told how to eat...or made to feel like your eating Sushi in North Korea
(2)Steven F.
I'll go ahead and start my review while waiting for dinner. We came here on a friday at 6:30 for some casual Friday dining. The decor is great but the staff is so amateur that it shows in their service. The sushi chef was offering advicr to our waitress on how to serve our table. It wouldnt have bothered me if the food was truly superb, but I'll get to that next. The sushi we ordered was alright. The fish tasted relatively fresh but rather bland. It's not quality material. Something that bugged me is that they use bread filler (panko) in their spicy tuna roll. Not just a little, enough to scraoe the roof of your mouth when you chew. The chef didnt know how to seal the roll at all, so the rice in both the spicy tuna and the tempura roll fell out easily. The tempura roll was neither cold nor warm in that awkward way shrimp tastes just a little off at room temperature. Again, filler. It had lettuce surrounding the shrimp. I dont know about you, but I've never had lettuce in a tempura roll. The size was awkward as well- it was really more of a kimbap than a sushi. It shows the classic issues of a Chinese restaurant showcasing mediocre Japanese rendition food. Our main entrees came out, and again, to the testament of their lack of any experience at all, served one of us the wrong dish- which the owner quickly scampered over and took it out from under my chopsticks. At this point, I had it with this place. The entree was alright.. a standard pork dish with no amazing flavor or tenderness to it. I had very high hopes but was sorely disappointed. I hope the next restaurant that comes in its place does better.

I've been to Lily Sushi twice. They serve Chinese,Japanese and Thai dishes. Really nice atmosphere-decor is great. Servers are friendly and prompt. The food is fresh with nice portions. The Thai Basil Triple and Hunan Triple Crown were both delicious. Veggies were tender crisp with good proportions of beef, chicken, shrimp. The peppers in the Thai Basil dish were nice and spicy! Loved it! My boyfriend has had the Pad Thai with chicken,as well as the Yaki Udon noodles-noodles stir fried with veggies and chicken - both were yummy. I tried a spring roll. It was packed with cabbage and crispy, but slightly bland-the dipping sauce was needed. I will definitely be back .I have yet to try the sushi!

I had hopes that a new Asian restaurant almost literally around the block would be great, but it was not to be. My first surprise was ordering a drink. I only wanted a cup of hot tea, which turned out to be $2.00! I ordered water and then waited after the water was delivered another 10 minutes for the waiter to return and ask for my meal order. I finally ordered egg drop soup and Kung Po chicken with pork fried rice. The soup came first. It looked like egg drop soup all right, but that was where the resemblance ended. It had nothing in it besides a tasteless broth and egg wisps and was served without any fried noodles.. Where I love egg drop soup normally, I couldn't stomach the stuff so I sent it back and got a tiny fresh salad with good ginger dressing on top. The main course came and had a nice presentation. Here came the 2nd surprise. Not the price this time but, surprisingly, condiments. I asked for the usual mustard and duck sauce and got an argument. The waitier said that will cost extra. What? Perhaps it was the language barrier or he was just thrown in there and I was his first customer, but returned in a few minutes with the duck sauce. I had to remind him again for the mustard which finally came but was I believe Japanese dipping mustard sauce. The egg roll was nicely fried, The shell had a nice aroma but the filling was underseasoned. The fried rice too, was bland. The Kung Po chicken was actually pretty goodt. The only complaints about it were that the chicken pieces were large enough to require cutting (I looked for a knife and found none) and the portion was small. So that was my experience for the lunch rate of $6.95. Not the worst place, but I have much better and cheaper places to go, with better service and all the little things that I've come to expect from Chinese restaurants.

The food is fantastic! The decor is modern. The prices are awesome! A definite bang for your buck. The only thing holding this place back from 5 stars is the service. I've been 6 times now. Once for a normal sit down meal from the menu, & 5 times for the all you can eat sushi lunch. The food and drink choices are extensive. Everything is cooked to perfection. For the all you can eat sushi, you get your choice of a soup or salad, an appetizer, & a large variety of fresh & delicious sushi you can keep picking from all for $9.99! Or for the all you can eat sushi dinner at $19.99 you get an even larger variety of soups, salads, appetizers, sushi, & dessert options! Sounds like heaven, I know. Like I said however the service is lacking. There are only 2 hostesses/waitresses. You're either gonna get the younger one, whose English is great one minute & non existent the next. Forgets to bring drinks, chopsticks etc, incorrectly explains the ordering process & then throws a hissy fit when you point it out, or is on her cell phone practically screaming. If you don't get her you'll get the older woman who is polite & attentive. My only actual complaint about her is that she will stare at you hardcore, start talking to staff in whatever Asian language they are speaking while still staring. I can't help but feel self conscious about that. Overall all this place is great, I recommend it to all my friends and family.
