Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

Food is good and they deliver. Definitely one of my favorites. I love walnut shrimp and their shrimp are huge!

I've never eaten at the restaurant, but we get delivery from there every few weeks. It always comes in a reasonable amount of time and is hot and fresh. They have great vegetarian options for me and my husband has been happy with the meat. I think their prices are super reasonable and the portions are generous.

Probably my go to place for Chinese take out. OK probably my go to place for takeout. They have generous portions and everything always taste like it was prepared fresh for my order. It always seams like this place is operated by a family. The staff seams to have fun with each other, and there children are sometimes sitting at a table playing games or doing homework. They have been in business at the same location for a long time, since I was young, and my family has been patronizing them ever since. And for a good reason, good food, good portions, and good friendly service.

I am from NY and the food here was great! We ordered vegetable lo mein and sesame chicken and my kids and wife loved it... The size for the price were just awesome. I highly recommend the place -

My new favorite takeout place! They're minimum for delivery is $10, my total came to roughly $8.50 and they let me slide, which A LOT of other places are very stingy about. I was very surprised when my dinner combo came with won ton soup, I have never had that before with takeout so that was a pleasant surprise, even better it was DELICIOUS. All of the food was. Very happy.

Good size servings, inexpensive, and super fast delivery. This place has become my go to Chinese takeout

Great food for a decent price. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. I always get take out so I can't speak to how their delivery service or dine in experience is. Despite there being plenty of competition for Chinese food places, this place is always my go to and the one I recommend to everyone.

Just got ginger chicken from this joint last week...they knocked it out of the park. It was all fresh ginger-y & wonderful. Veggies were crisp, chicken was tender. YUM.

As a broke college student, I need a place that delivers either pretty late or really early (or even later, in college terms). This place always delivers delicious food and is very nice. They couldn't find the building I was at on campus yet continued to find me, unlike the other places that made me walk to the end of my campus for them (rude). The people who own this place are very nice and have great memory. I recommend the shrimp with peppers and tomatoes.

Foo Joy has definitely set the bar for takeout around the Allentown Area. While the inside of their shop is rather daft and old in appearance, you aren't there for that by any means. The food is amazing, and their service is out of the field. They delivered about 7 miles out to the business I work at for free and the order I placed was as received. I got the lunch special for General Tso chicken with the hot and sour soup. First impression on the hot and sour soup: It's actually got a bit of a kick to it. It's quite gelatinous and is packed with tofu, Chinese vegetables, and mushrooms. Best I've had in the valley so far at this point. As far as the General Tso chicken is, I asked for them to make it so spicy it hurts and even though it wasn't as spicy as I was expecting they definitely tried hard. The chicken is tender with a super crispy outside, broccoli is cooked just right, and the pork fried rice actually has some flavor to it. I will buy from here again in a heartbeat. Total cost before tip for the lunch special and two quarts of wonton soup was $12.67. Can't beat that! I'll buy for my office any day at this price.

Food is always hot, fresh and taste good. They will deliver anything from as little as one lunch special to ten + and in a reasonable amount of time. Just remember to ask for sauces on the side, if you don't ask, you won't get them.

Any Chinese food place that has large faded photos that span the entire restaurant complete with taped-over prices means that you get what you pay for; so I certainly wasn't disappointed with the $3.25 (small) serving of General Tso's tofu, which was huge, gooey, and tasty. Hot & Sour soup was tasty and tangy, pretty average and highly gelatinous. The Moo Shu vegetable was decent - but we had to ask for our plum sauce and that's almost the best part of Moo Shu. They have a good selection of vegetarian options. We recommend take out because that's what they expect and the woman was surprised we wanted to eat in and didn't want to deal with us. Also there was some serious 'backstage' office work going on at one of the other tables where the (maybe) owners were doing paperwork and having loud conversations in very animated Chinese. There was a plastic army man on one of the other tables. He was cool.

It's is my go-to Chinese takeout joint off I'm not looking for buffet. It's everything you're looking for in take out and nothing you aren't.

Just tried some of the soups that they recently added to the menu. This is what attracted me to FOO JOY in the first place. With over 600 common recipes for soup in China-it always amazed me that most Chinese restaurants only have 3 or 4 to choose from. FOO JOY recently added Fishball soup and hot & sour seafood soup. Both are excellent but my fav. is the fishball soup; golf ball sized fishballs filled with pork in a light broth with what I believe is watercress or spinach. The hot & sour seafood soup is in a tangy red broth with chili oil, shrimp, scallops and chunks of fish (don't wear a white shirt while eating this!). Not too spicy but very flavorful.

Decent chinese takeout. Not as slick as Mi Chongs but it does the trick this part of town. The lunch specials are pretty cheap; $5.25 for fried rice, a main, and soup or spring roll. The portions are quite sizeable; my friend and both ended up boxing up our leftovers for another meal. I tried the Kung Pao chicken while he had the General Tso's chicken. The Kung Pao chicken was a disappointment. Not at all spicy or flavorful. The General's chicken was pretty darn good. I would order that next time. The pork fried rice that came with the lunch special was quite tasty; it definitely made the trip worth it. I was starving when i ordered so that might have an effect on how the food tasted. Will probably return once more for a follow up. Maybe the food will be better, maybe it won't hold up. Update: I went again recently and tried the Wonton soup, fried rice and chicken and broccoli. The Wonton Soup broth was very tasty. A surprise especially since they claim they don't use any MSG. The Wontons were a disappointment. The skin was thick and tough -- it was like pizza dough. I ended up eating the inside and leaving the skin in the bowl. The Wontons were also ice cold when I bit into them, which means they were pre-cooked and put in the fridge, only to be released into the semi-boiling cauldron when I ordered a Wonton soup. Boo. The fried rice was decent, the chicken and broccoli OK. It had the thick brown sauce which they cook beef and broccoli with, which I wish I'd known before cause then I would've ordered it with a light garlic sauce. Much lighter and tastier I feel. Hunan Springs does it the latter. A Hispanic lady came in at the same time as me and ordered the chicken and broccoli. No big deal. She then proceeded to have an argument with her man about his loser job on her cell phone at approximately 80 dBs. Fairly entertaining but after 10min it got painful. If you enjoy this kind of thing, do a sit down meal in Foo Joy. Otherwise do takeout.
