Ok, I'm giving this four stars. A lot of y'all might be saying, "There's no way any take-out Chinese place gets four stars! Everrrrrrrrr!" and getting angry. But I'm judging it against its peers. Against its peers, China King is about tops. For a hole-in-the-strip-mall Chinese joint, it is excellent. They know how to make crab rangoons that taste of crab and scallion and are not dripping or too brown. They know how to make some of the best hot and sour (meaty or meatless) I've had. They make really awesome General Tso's bean curd. And egg foo young. And everything I've had, really. And the people are generally friendly and helpful, and always suggest things, too. It's just plain good. I have zero complaints.

This isn't exceptional Chinese take-out, this is very average Chinese take-out. I asked them what was good and they said GTso's so I went ahead and ordered it and it was pretty much the same that I've had anywhere else. It's not sub-par, but it's just average and when you've actually sat down and had good, delicious Chinese food it's really hard to go back. Now now, you might say General Tso's isn't a very good choice for authentic Chinese. That's technically true, it's American-Chinese, but that doesn't mean you can't have that entree made with fresh, white meat chicken with mushrooms and other vegetables mixed into the stir fry rather than just a couple of broccoli.

This is a take out chinese restaurant, but their food is excellent. If you are a general tso's fan, I recommend you try theirs. It has become my go-to chinese restaurant in the lehigh valley when I want something inexpensive and filling. EDIT: I've changed my review to 5 stars. I really think they deserve it.. I've never been unhappy and god knows how much money i've spent here.

for a hole in the wall chinese take-out in a small shopping complex, this is an ok place, i'd say. But, for a "china king" chain, compared to other locations, this was pretty awful. My friend and I ended up at this place for lunch after lunch hour had passed and other near by places had already closed down until dinner. Both of us were out of towners meeting up at a halfway point, so were not familiar with the area. We just opted to go to the nearest chinese we could find on the gps. I'm one of those people who always finishes their meal, no matter how good or bad or stuffed I am. But, I couldn't bare myself to finish my lunch here. pretty mediocre. The same was true for my friend.

I usually order for pick up and even though they are a little more expensive than the others they were the best around so worth it. Today they were the complete opposite. I thought I'd see if they had a new cook but they said it was the same cook. I had general tso chicken, Sweet and sour chicken and broccoli and chicken combos in all of them the rice was clumping smelled funny and tasted horrible. Their answers of "I don't know" repeatedly with no other offer to resolve this matter doesn't sit well with me. So I warn every one you might want to steer clear of this place. We are already searching for a better place around here.

Horrible Chinese. The pork fried rice had no flavor, the spring roll was half cooked and greasy. The sauce on the chicken and broccoli was like jelly.

Rude rude rude. Made me feel like an unwanted customer. The men were waited on quickly. I was ignored for the phone. The Asian chef was clueless as to the difference between " to go" vs "eat here" Try somewhere else

I used to like this place. Until one day when I went in to pick up an order. As soon as I turned my back, the guys sitting behind the counter began audibly discussing my anatomy in terms that would offend Howard Stern. Never in my life have I felt such a strong urge to shower. If you have anything resembling a second x chromosome, stay far away from this place. I hate to think how many poor wenches I left duct taped to chairs in the basement, gagged with their own panties.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
