If beaver county jail had a buffet, it would be better than the palms. Honey kilbasa? Thats not brazilian. Pro tip, tell the local one man band who is upfront massacring songs volume doesnt compensate for talent. The meat was awful, and it was under cooked. Not rare, undercooked. Go into giant eagle, grab the cheapest steak they have, and eat it through the packaging. Boom. You just experienced the palms. $150 for four and I wouldve felt better if the waitress stole at knife point than to know I gave it to her on my own volition. This is not a brazilian steakhouse.

I've been to Texas de Brazil, Palms, and Green Forest Cafe which are the only Brazilian steakhouses in the Pittsburgh area. I have typical expectations of an authentic churrascaria based visits to many other steakhouses both of the US and Brazil. I was left incredibly disappointed by Palms. Food - They do not serve the typical Brazilian cheese bread. In fact, they brought no sides of the table except when we ask for in a couple of times. We finally received potatoes when we were almost on with our meal. - The steak is not cut properly like at a typical Brazilian steakhouse. It is hacked of in chunks and beautiful cuts of picanha are destroyed. - The caipirinha was sour like they forgot to add sugar. - The only redeeming characteristic about the food was that they bring quite a few cuts of meat to the table and the portion sizes are generous. - The salad bar is not as impressive and not nearly as nice as this salad bars at the other two steak houses. Service - Our service was absolutely terrible at this restaurant. We had to ask for water, straws, bread, our check and the list goes on and on. It was a terrible experience. Atmosphere / Ambience - The ambience for the restaurant is not impressive but if the service and food were better that wouldn't matter. Overall, I highly encourage you to visit Green Forest or Texas de Brazil. I like them equally and each has its perks. It is worth the further drive and the effort to make a reservation. The cost is comparable and the food and overall experience is far superior.

Had a great lunch here with a wonderful wine. The waitress, Alison, was very pleasant and the bar helpful. Hidden from most i n the community because they don't know what they have in this restaurant.

This is my fourth trip to the palms the first was blah. The second time ordered hot turkey for lunch was excellent. The third was for the lunch buffet which reminded me of school cafeteria food only worse. This time I drove 8 miles because they wouldn't answer the phone for take out at 930 pm. I got there at ten to see the manager pouring himself a beer as he told me "technically we are closed", but I could drink. The website says open until 11 pm. Welcome to Aliquippa!

This was our first time at a Brazilian steakhouse so I don't have anything to compare it too so I'll go with 3 stars. The meats were seasoned deliciously although some cuts were more well done than I would have liked and they didn't ask if we had a preference (I'm not sure if that's normal or not). The seafood bar had enough to be worth the large price but not enough choices to be anything special. It was mostly crab legs, shrimp and oysters. The happy hour drink specials were terrific and our gaucho was friendly and personable. We will eat here again but maybe after we try another similar type restaurant.

A little expensive but I was very impressed. The meat was way less salty than other Brazilian steakhouses I have been to. The buffet had great options. We showed up with 15 people on a Sunday after church and did not have to wait to be seated.

The Palms is about on par with other Brazilian Steakhouses I've been as far as price goes...aka expensive. They also give you larger slices of the cheaper cuts of meat, which is to be expected. However, everything was cooked and seasoned PERFECTLY. I also really enjoyed the decor and ambiance. It was the perfect mix between a quiet dinner so that you could hear each other talk, but not so quiet that you didn't feel comfortable talking. Our server was good, and the goucho's were attentive. I even was offered the first slice of a new warmed pineapple skewer, and the goucho made good on his promise. They even had a surprisingly good draft selection for beers. I would definitely recommend them, and go there again.

This was such a great experience. My husband and I went for dinner and had the gaucho service (not sure how to spell that). There was meat coming at us left and right -- and it was sooooooo tasty. The buffet that came with it was set up in a classy manner. The vegetables were served cold - which I did NOT like, but that is a preference I am sure. We didn't try the seafood as we are not seafood eaters. The bbq ribs on the buffet were FABULOUS. The server was so wonderful. She was super attentive - probably the best server we have ever had -- she was tipped as such. The dinner is about $40 per person -- so be ready for that. Go HUNGRY....because you will be eating a LOT of food. This is my new favorite restaurant....wish I could afford to go every week!!! :)

Meats were delicious and well cooked. Waitress was good and kept up with our needs. When the restaurant was packed the meats came around frequently and always had food on our plates. After the half the restaurant cleared out the meats became scarce. Most of the gauchos were standing around talking around the kitchen doorway. We were lucky if a meat was coming around every ten minutes. I had to ask about six times for the roasted pineapple before we got it at the table. All in all it was ok, but if you want a great Brazilian Steakhouse experience, try The Green Forest.

I wasn't to sure at first due to the location being in an old shopping plaza.... But this place is awesome!! Now it's a little pricy but man is the food good!! I'm a fan that's for sure!

I went with my girlfriend, for my birthday, during a Sunday brunch on June 8th, 2014. I have gout, so this is a rare treat for me. Boy was I disappointed. FOOD: The Meat was decent. It was well-seasoned and cooked properly, but they were poor cuts (grizzled). Save for a GREAT broccoli rabe , the buffet area was horrible. Today's carrots mixed with yesterday's then overcooked. Wilted lettuce, flavorless pasta, overcooked potatoes (again, probably from yesterday, too). She is not as big of a meat eater so, I got them to put their coconut shrimp on their shrimp platter. I tasted it. It was very good. SERVICE: The waiter was great, but the "Gaucho" was rude and seemed put off for having to attend to us and we were the only table seated at the time. PRICE: I am OK with spending $85 on dinner for two. I am going to that again tonight. But this place will not get my $85, again. Like Bose and Budweiser, they think over-advertisment and hype will make up for a poor product.

The Palms is newly opened in the Aliquippa area and this was my first experience at a Brazilian steakhouse. Various friends have told me that a Brazilian Steakhouse dining experience was unique and worth trying. The Restaurant is beautifully decorated, spacious and clean. The staff was extremely helpful and attentive. The food at the buffet was excellent. The service was awesome! The Gaucho service was plentiful and attentive! My over-all experience at The Palms was GREAT! I only gave The Palms four stars because the meat was a little too rare for my taste and at around $40 per person to have dinner, everything should be enjoyable.

Tacky and poorly executed. I've never been to any other Brazilian steakhouse but I assume that Green Forest is definitely a better alternative. The seafood buffet was really poor, the oyster (singular because I passed on anymore) was one of the worst I have ever had in my life. I didn't have high hopes but I assumed they would be edible. The crab legs were okay, what I expected for the price. Sure, there was tons of meat and none of it was bad but none of it was awesome. If your only objective is to eat as much beef and pork in one sitting as you can, have at it. Literally every piece of steak tasted the same as well as the pork. The lamb was a bright spot, but I would have been happy to have any kind of lamb. While the gauchos were extremely nice young men they weren't very knowledgeable. I don't blame the staff, I just feel like the entire experience is second rate. Also, the buffet feels really cheesy and the offerings were confusing. I'm okay with buffet style but the layout of this place is super annoying. There are really sharp corners everywhere and with the gaucho service and buffet, there is way more foot traffic than in a normal restaurant. I collided with staff almost every time I got up (again, not the staff's fault-everyone that waiting on us was extremely nice). I'm okay with dining at places that aren't over the top fancy but in this case, I'd say either do the Brazilians Steakhouse experience right or just don't do it at all .

My expectations were high for the Palms. I was hoping for a cheaper alternative to Green Forest - something I considered worth the drive out from Pittsburgh. We tried their Sunday brunch offering, and were happy with the variety and quality of the buffet. Unfortunately once we started the meat service, our satisfaction greatly suffered. The servers did not know how to carve the meats properly. Additionally, every single meat had been left sitting on the fire for far too long, and was overcooked to the point of being a tasteless grey chunk of flesh. When we remarked this to the waitress she promised us a "medium rare" selection would be made and brought out to us. What we received shortly afterwards was "blue" if that, and heavilly over-salted. We politely declined any more meats, and settled to just enjoying the buffet offerings, which is a shame for a Churrascaria.
