Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

All I can say is, NEW OWNER and new food quality! Great job...ordered some great Italian food....new owner is doing great. When in Hopewell try out this restaurant. I would recommend either here or Harold's Inn...other than that, no good choice. But these tow are really good.

Lousy service. Waitress was more interested in talking with her co-worker than actually doing her job. She also stank of cigarette smoke. Kitchen staff used the bathroom(in the dining area) and failed to was their hands afterward. Gross. Food was subpar. Chicken was precooked. Cook failed make sure that the chicken was warm through out. When served the chicken was cold inside. Mushrooms were not fresh and had come out of a can. The red sauce was runny, and not cooked long enough. Large chunks of uncooked tomatoes. White sauces balance of butter and heavy cream was off. Too heavily sided on the butter side. White sauce was also not fresh and was clumpy. We will not be back or reccomnend it to anyone.

I ordered chicken parmesan which is my standard for Italian places. The chicken was prepared well, the sauce was ok, and came on a bed of overcooked spaghetti. I think chicken parmesan should be with a side of pasta like penne , not soaking chicken on bed of it. It does injustice to the chicken and the pasta.

This is by far the worst place I've ever dined. The food was made poorly and the chefs did not know what they were doing. I was told that my order could be made celiac friendly... Yay! When my food arrived, I noticed that my soup had wheat noodles in It and my salad had croutons on it... All of which have wheat!! On top of that My chicken Marsala has a sauce that they said couldn't be thickened with anything but flour. The obvious solution would be to use cornstarch or even just simply reduce the sauce till it thickens. My boyfriend was told that his meal would come out earlier then mine because the noodles were precooked in a container and all they had to do was slap on some sauce. Haha. What put me over the edge and made me never want to go back was the manager who used HEAVILY SENTED FLOOR CLEANER while people were dining at a usual dinner hour.... The smell of fresh cut pine trees didn't complement our dish at all. After enough patrons complained of the awful smell he finally gave us a solution. The manager opened up two doors... in the dead of winter!!!! So now we were all freezing, gagging from the smell of cleaner, and regretting our spontaneous decision to try a new Italian place.

Wow. These other folks must have some feud going on. Great pizza. Usually get the special w capricolla Sooo good. Their fish is awesome but only served on Fridays. Not sure why the other reviewers came to an Italian joint and ordered a salad?! Zucchini strips are the best around. Super thin slices w thin crispy batter.

The Pizza is the best in the area. I dream of it when I'm hungry. The atmosphere is a little lacking. You may think many things from the inside and the outside, but one of them won't be "this was never a Pizza Hut." It seems like as far as wait staff, they exclusively employ girls that (erroneously) believe that they are too pretty to be bothered with customers. If you'd like to dine and ditch, this would be the place to do it, as it would likely take them the better part of an hour to realize that you left. How a waitress can be so unaware of your presence when they're mere feet away texting at the next table over is beyond me. On our last visit, my wife ordered a meal that basically amounts to fettuccine Alfredo with some spiciness added to the sauce. What she received was fettuccine Alfredo. I'm sure of it. I've reached a point in my life where I easily recognize one of the most ubiquitous Italian dishes the world over. The waitress, however, insisted that the order was correct, and that dish wasn't very spicy. I also believe I've reached a point in my life where I can recognize the word "Spicy" when printed in English, and I'm fairly adept at recognizing which dish, out of several on a menu, goes with which description. Extrapolating from those facts, I am able to determine which dishes on said menu are advertised as "spicy". Once I was able to convince our waitress of this fact, she rectified the issue by bringing my wife the spices that should have been a part of the sauce in a small plastic cup for her to mix in at her discretion. On the plus side, she didn't use all of it, and we wound up taking the remainder home and making the same dish in our own kitchen. We got it right! First try! We must be some sort of Italian food savants, however, and that shouldn't be the yard stick by which others are judged. So, after this review, one might as why I give it three stars rather than one star. Did I mention the Pizza? The best in the west end.

Pizza is good but salads are a waste of money.

We have been fans of Pacentro's food for years and regularly ordered take out while they were located in Monaca. Now that they've moved to Hopewell, we still order when passing through the area as the pizza is excellent as well as reasonably priced. However, the actual service has always been lacking. We avoided the constantly annoyed waitresses by only ordering takeout but, after this evening's ordering attempt, we decided we will not be returning. Wanting to place an order for wings, but knowing they wouldn't be enjoyed by all if only the "inferno" variety were ordered, a question was asked as to if some of the dozen could be left plain. The answer to this was, "no, that's too much of a hassle". A simple no woud have been fine rather than the implication that this request was too much to be bothered with. A shocked reply to cancel the wings but keep the pizza order was then met with the girl hanging up the phone! We won't be bothering you anymore, Pacentro's!
