At Our Daily Bread the food is excellent, however, time after time we regularly receive very poor service. We've experienced exceedingly inattentive wait staff, slow food preparation, repeatedly asking for silverware when we had none and our food had arrived, being served tepid water for tea, etc. After having paid several visits, we'd have to say about a third of the time something goes awry. However, I'll have to say this for them... for this part of Lane County (Junction City, Veneta, etc.) there are very few places that don't make us sick and this is one of them!

I'm here enjoying a bite and brew with our friends Char & Paul Meier, who live in Venita. Tasty fare!

Love this place. We had breakfast here for the first time this weekend. The restaurant was clean, the service was excellent, and the food was extraordinary. All at an affordable price . I had one of the breakfast specials - the gouda and sausage omelet that was probably the best omelet I have had - ever. The breakfast potatoes were tasty and not greasy. The portions will leave even the hungriest full and satisfied. I love that the ingredients are local, whenever possible and made from scratch. We are already planning to include a stop at Our Daily Bread for lunch on our next trip through Veneta.

Love it... It's in an old church, still has the stained glass windows. located on the beautiful territorial hwy. Only local beers on Tap. The borscht (chicken not beet soup) was killer! Thick and great flavor. The bread with it was the best! I had a prawn salad which was a little overpriced but very good.

While on vacation we stumbled onto our daily bread. Glad we did--best BLT I've ever had, Have them put the mayo on side. You probably won't use it The focaccia warmed roll with butter is plenty enough. The bacon 6 slices yummy

I've finally tried this cute little establishment, after a long time of very wrongly estimating what the experience might be like. I'm sure pleased that I finally put my azz in one of their seats. I'd say that my entire breakfast experience with these folks really couldn't have been improved upon.... from my walk in, clear up to the drive away. The building exterior isn't terrible, and is deceivingly smallish looking. The interior was very comfy & relaxing. It's the best use I can imagine, for a church. And based on their biscuits and gravy... I'd say I bow my head to the cooks/bakers here, for they must be God(s). I had as many of their items as I could stomach in a single breakfast. I had two omelets, a biscuits & gravy, a cinnamon roll, some of their bread, and several cups of coffee. I ate there 3 days ago and I'm still fantasizing about bathing in their gravy and floating in it upon a biscuit... that I often take bites of. The good/great/amazing: - the food. All that I've tried. - the service. Never had an empty cup - the coffee. Hot and flavorful. - the cinnamon roll. Oh my god!! - the price. The bad: - my g.i. Tract isn't strong enough to eat more there in a single sitting. I definitely recommend this place to all. I look forward to giving their lunches and dinners a go.

Absolutely one of the best breakfasts of all time. Wife had Marion Berry French toast with hazelnuts and a side of ham. I had chicken fried beef steak with eggs, fried potatoes, and toast from French baguette. Melt in your mouth. Coffee was excellent. Service top notch. At a reasonable price. Located in an old church building so very nice. If you're in the area do not miss this jewel.

I am in love with this place. I first discovered it while searching for wedding venues and it only took one visit to help me decide it was the one. I am always impressed with the wonderful food they can produce. Our wedding ceremony and reception was held in the main dining area and Our Daily Bread provided excellent service, food, cake, and beverages just as we had requested. Now it is our family's favorite breakfast place ever- their Quiche is always fluffy and steaming hot and hash-browns are cooked just right.

Nice place for breakfast. We tried the biscuits and gravy combo with bacon, eggs, hashbrowns, and fruit, all good.

The biscuits and gravy combo was delicious and more than I could eat. Generous portions and the best biscuits ever. The service was good considering they were very busy. I'm giving it 4 stars because the potatoes were a little too crunchy (overcooked), otherwise a great breakfast.

I have had two outstanding meals at ODB, and attempted to have a third, but ended up walking out before ordering. LOVE the food here - the quality and variety is excellent even for a big city - to have this in such a small town is wonderful. I am from the bay area and have eaten at many outstanding restaurants, and the food at ODB is just as good as any of my favorite restaurants in california. Prices are not cheap, but certainly fair for the quality. I would happily spend the money to eat here at least once a week if it weren't for one thing. Sloooooooow service. Always warm and friendly, but i'm talking sloth slow. I went in a third time for dinner on a Sunday. It was a few minutes after 7:00pm, and they close at 8:00. I had been in Eugene most of the day and there are plenty of restaurants I could have eaten at there - but I was so glad ODB was still open and drove there to get some dinner. Since it was less than an hour from closing, I told my server I would just take something to go. I was pointed to the stack of menus, took one and sat down to look it over. There was one other party of 6 or 7 sitting at a table, and a party of 2 sitting outside who appeared to already have eaten. The first two times I was here the service was slow, so I knew this going in and had decided I would order a glass of wine to sip while I was waiting, and brought in something to read. I had decided on my order and my mouth was watering in anticipation. The server took orders from the other inside table, went behind the counter to put it in .... and then disappeared. She re-appeared and disappeared a number of times, getting their drinks, doing various tasks, and passed right me *at least* four times (this is a small dining room). Finally I caught her attention on her way past me again (by this time it had easily been 15 minutes since I sat down), and she asked if I was ready to order. A game on TV was a little loud so instead of shouting I nodded my head in a very animated way and said "YES!" She said okay, and then disappeared again. Wha?? I waited another minute or two, and saw her coming my direction, thinking "yay, finally!" But then she continued right past me to clear the table next to me. LOL, are you freaking kidding me?? I continued to wait, thinking she would SURELY take my order after she cleared the table, and this food is so good it would be worth the wait, I told myself. But alas, she disappeared again. It seemed pretty clear they didn't want my business, so I left, disappointed and hungry. And there is NOTHING open in Veneta after 7 on a Sunday, unless you want a crappy burger at a crappy drive-thru. I didn't. Even so, I will be back. Because I'm a trooper, and I want this to be a fluke. And because that's how good my first two meals were. C'mon ODB. I really want to keep coming back.
Service was VERY VERY VERY slow. We sat for 23 minutes before we were finally acknowledged, and offered water and coffee by kitchen staff. Our server came after 27 minutes of us waiting and was nice and brought us each a mini muffin for the wait. Our food came out fast and was perfectly cooked. A little high priced for the quality and quantity of food but all in all it was a descent meal. A little too far for me (18 miles) to drive for a mediocre meal therefore I highly doubt weL be back...

Unfortunately Reed and I had extremely poor service on a non busy day. The tofu burger that we ordered was all mashed up and then cooked, so it all fell off of the bun before even going into my mouth :/ I ending up eating the burger with a fork. :P With all of that said, I would give it one more chance, maybe just an off day there? Although, I would not go out of my way to go and eat there again. Meh.

This place has gone down in the last couple months! And I have been reading all the reviews and they all are kind of saying the same thing. For the last three years we have done their Thanksgiving Dinner and this year the turkeys are gross and fatty ugh did my own turkey tonight after picking up theirs 5 hours ago. Have they changed hands or something seems like in the last year they have gone down hill and after they cancel their Sunday brunch and no longer do that I was just wondering?

Literally the best burger I've ever had, the Cajun BBQ burger, my Aunt said their hot ham and cheddar sandwiches is one of the best she's ever had. Great service and atmosphere! Also try the Chicken Curry Salad if you have room!

Really excellent service from this cozy cafe located in a refurbished country church. The potato soup was very good and the breakfast special can't be beat. All in all a friendly 'home style' kind of place that you'll want to return to many times.

I stopped by on my way out of town. The place is cute and the baking of bread smells wonderful. Disappointed in service or the lack of. There is no sign saying seat yourself so people stand around waiting to be told. I briefly saw a breakfast special on my way in. I sat outside and waited for sometime before seeing a server , asked for coffee and then waited again. Finally when I asked the server what the special was she told me she didn't know....eh what? Then proceed to say one of the two special, really felt confused. Once I received my meal, she never checked on me and I had to ask for my check. Meal was good, baked goods looked great.

While in town visiting from San Diego I had the opportunity to come and have breakfast here. I had a delicious breakfast. But what really did it for me was the oat-bran cake. Not a fan of buttermilk pancakes but the richness of it and exquisite taste did it for me. Their maple goes excellent with their berry syrup a definitely must have.

This place will not disappoint. We have been to breakfast 4 or 5 times and dinner once and will continue to go back. Everything we have tried has been amazing. The staff is very friendly and seems to really care how you are doing.

They have delicious food, and even better cookies and bakery items. Their service is a little iffy, if you get the waitress who works most the time, she will act like you are an inconvenience. Could stand to be a little more friendly, but like I said, the food is bar-none.

Our Daily Bread is as good as it gets! I ate the chicken fried steak, eggs, potatoes, whole wheat toast, and an orange slice for brunch, as it was late, so I thought I'd get two meals in for one today. Scrumptuous as usual! Makes one feel like everyone is family! Servers are friendly, efficient, regardless of what the task at hand is! Coffee is fantastic too, as I am normally not a coffee drinker, however, I can drink 4+ cups of coffee at Our Daily Bread! If one hasn't been to Our Daily Bread, one is missing out. Oh yes, did I mention the bakery products? Each and everyone of them is fantastic, with a realistic price too ~ all and all, Our Daily Bread is great for anyone, even if retired and on a fixed income!

Very sad that I feel compelled to write a less than stellar review of a place that was once very good. The menu has changed some items in the past 6 months. First they took the hot turkey sandwich off, then they put it back on....but it's not the same, not nearly as good. They also changed their featherbender sandwich from a nice fresh roll to greasy grilled bread....not an improvement in my opinion. The prices are not inexpensive, but I had been willing to pay them for the previous quality of meals served, but I'll have to rethink that one now. Also the past two times that we have gone in there, once for lunch and another time for breakfast the service has been lacking. The first time we waited over 40 minutes for lunch, salads and sandwiches, nothing spectacular or difficult. When I asked about the delay I got an attitude from the waitress. Breakfast was also poor service, my water glass was empty for the majority of the meal, when we were ready to leave she offered to refill it. They either need to hire more help, or better help. Too bad it is one of the few places to eat in town.

Wow. Great service and even better food. Being from Springfield I wouldn't have heard of Our Daily Bread if it wasn't for Groupon. First time in, had the bacon cheeseburger. Actually too much food for me to eat. Couldn't finish it. But it was good. Even better was this trip in: Chicken BLT sandwich. Quality food. I will be back!! Count me as somewhat regular!

I am giving this restaurant 3 stars. In the past, we were regular customers of this restaurant. However, my husband complained because the choices for dinner were so limited. What we didn't realize was the menu they were giving us for dinner was the lunch menu. When I told her we had the wrong menu she said no...we only serve the lunch menu for dinner on Monday and Tuesday nights!!!! Yikes what a disappointment. They also have taken the wood stove out of the restaurant so it was a bit cold!! PLEASE BRING BACK THE STOVE. Maybe we will come back, but not on Monday or Tuesday! !!

A small church in a small town serving brunch on the weekends sounds like a good idea, and it is. The former chapel is quaint in a bright, cheerful sort of way. The crowd definitely leans toward the grey haired variety and that's ok. If you show up late the seating spills out into a reception room that isn't nearly as cozy. The brunch is served catering style with six metal heating trays refilled as demand requires. The place is also a bakery so there are savories piled high on multi tiered serving trays as well. Overall it was a nice stop but not amazing.

This is really good food. No joke. I can't understand any negative reviews this place would receive. The sunday brunch is quite nice, I'm going tomorrow with the lady. We both love it. The service can be a bit slow at times but they are really nice people. Get the ODB Philly for lunch, or eat anything on the breakfast menu. You will like it and if you live in the area, there really isn't a better option. So good, so worth the occasional long wait for refills, and they have booze! Go Vanetta!

I work in Veneta and sometimes I just don't want to haul my bum to Ray's to pick up a premade sandwich and iced tea. Sometimes I want to sit down to a proper meal. Our Daily Bread is one of the few places in town serving hot meals... My experience with lunch was disappointing. Though I tried my hardest to avoid it, I ended up with a sandwich that towered over me with too much meat and soggy bread. I gave up and had at it with a fork. The fries were satisfying enough - they fulfilled my need to eat fries. I was not the happiest customer in the world, but the price was less than $10, so all was excused. A couple weeks later I went in for breakfast. Although my water wasn't served to me after asking multiple times, I found the breakfast menu to be very accommodating. Let me say, shamefully, that I hate breakfast food. I loathe French toast and gag on eggs. The menu, however, ran the gamut of traditional eggs and sausage, to pancakes, to wraps, to scrambles, etc. I easily found something that sounded good - the veggie omelette with potatoes and fruit. When I was served my plate, I was immediately happy. There was ample fruit - not just a couple bits of cantaloupe; soft and salty potatoes; and the scramble - oh my! Cheese, a good variety and amount of vegetables, avocado ... it was SO GOOD. I ate it all up and was at that happy place between "full" and "wanting more." The waiters are hit or miss, it's true... the owner often serves, and has always been in a chipper mood, even if he forgets some things. However, this place has a great charm to it, and awesome food if you give it a shot. I would definitely consider driving out here for brunch.

We've been eating at ODB for years and always keep coming back. They pride themselves on fresh local food and bake almost (all?) of their own breads. In the past few weeks they refreshed their menus and made it even more affordable and included more comfort foods. Since Veneta is a small town the servers and owners still retain that friendly small town vibe. Stop by and spend an hour, you won't be disappointed!

Great food, my favorite so far is the chicken curry salad, yum!! However, I'm not a fan of the fish and chips. This fish was good but the batter was too thick and soft. Same goes for the onion rings my husband had ordered.

Great looking little restaurant, very cute. But there the fun stops. Despite the fact that they were almost empty we had to wait for coffee. Then we had to go to the counter to beg for a second cup. We ordered chicken fried steak for one person and quiche and a marionberry pancake for the other. The steak was way over cooked, tough and the breeding was burned. The quiche was overcooked ,rubbery and greasy. But the worst was the piece of barbed berry stem half an inch long, that got lodged in my friends throat when she sampled the pancake. The waitress didn't have much to say about it but she did comp the steak. Should have comped the whole thing. The day I can't eat quiche it's not good quiche. My friend had been there before and said it was wonderful so maybe they need some fine tuning on the staff.

Great food, fair prices, good service. Reading other comments, I see that Melissa B. and Nicci B. got bad service: must have been a couple of off days, cos we have always gotten good, prompt, friendly attention. Daily Bread is a great place to sit on a rainy day. You can feed yourself for under $10, which is reasonable (in Seattle or Portland, one can easily blow $50 on dinner for one). There are healthy options for vegetarians, as well as traditional fare. It should be noted that the owners recently sold the store back to their parents-- better hours, open 7 days, and an expanded menu. Oh, and they have free wifi (not that you iPhone folks need it!) and you can sit at a table, without feeling rushed. All and all, two thumbs up. PS if you DO have a problem with your order, tell your waitress: she will happily FIX IT for you! (thought of this when I read the complaints of Mark H. from Portland-- btw food doesn't take "forever"-- but it is NOT a McDonalds! in the old days, you waited for food)

So disappointing. Bought a Groupon to try it out and they would only allow us to order hamburgers. So our group ordered three different hamburgers - unfortunately all were so bland and tasteless, part of the order was incorrect and it was overpriced. Our waitress went on break and didn't tell us; sat for quite a while before anyone checked on us at all. Then it took forever to get a bill. Ended up going up to the register and waited while three different waiters walked right by me even after making eye contact. Then the poor guy didn't know how to make change. Train wreck all the way around. Won't return.

Give us this day Our Daily Bread...NOW! I have been coming to ODB religiously (ha!) ever since I had some family relocate to Veneta. It is absolutely on par with some of the best restaurants I have been to in the Pacific Northwest. Since its in a converted church, the vibe is angelic: stained glass windows, warm wood floors, etc...there was even a live pianist last time we were there for dinner! Their Sunday brunch buffet was a pleasant surprise. I was impressed by the fresh bread, the fruit selection, and the crisp bacon! I have never been for lunch, but dinner has yet to disappoint. I don't eat prime rib, but many of my family members swear by it. I had the Blue Burger ($10.50), substituted chicken breast at no additional charge, and it was quality eats. TIP: Try the cranberry vinaigrette salad dressing. Pros Awesome fresh food Friendly staff Ambiance Cons Veneta is 300 miles from Seattle

I adore this place. The restaurant itself is adorable and charming, but the food is so great. It all tastes fresh and natural (even the french fries). The prices aren't that bad but considering the quality of the food, I'd say it's a decent price range. The staff is friendly and the place is always kept clean and neat. I thoroughly enjoy coming here. :)

My wife and I ate here for breakfast this morning in celebration of our wedding anniverssary. She had eaten here before, also for breakfast, but it was my first time. Everyone else has talked about the atmosphere, so I won't go into that. Overall, the food was good. I had a chicken fried steak, which had a great, crispy crust on it. The toast was made from homemade wheat bread. But there were a couple of issues that made this more of a three star experience than something higher. First of all, it was about 57 degrees in the restaurant...seriously. The building appears to be heated with a pellet stove, and they were having trouble getting much heat from it. We ate, all bundled up, and couldn't wait to get out of there to warm up. The second issue was the gravy on the chicken fried steak. It was clearly homemade, and it was probably good when it was first made, a day or two previously. It was served as a clump of lukewarm goop on top of the steak. It had the consistency of mashed potatoes, and was really pretty gross. Something like that should never make its way onto a plate in a restaurant that is all about homemade, fresh ingredients. I'll probably give Our Daily Bread another chance someday, hoping that this was just a fluke experience.

I want to like it, but I don't ...does that count? Veneta deserves more. This feels like settling.Such a shame since it is such a cute location. Let me be clear, it is not terrible - this is a quaint renovated church and it's clean and the service is acceptable. The issue I have is that it's boring and nothing really special . The way I would describe it is "hospital cafeteria" institutional food or generic wedding food, basic chafing dish type stuff. You could make any of this food at home, but it isn't homemade in a good grandma's recipe way. Yes, sometimes the food can be Ok and I think with the lack of options here and with the cute church locale, people begin to believe it is better than it is. I tried the breakfast a few times and lunch a time or two . I went for dinner once . I experienced underseasoned, overseasoned , undercooked, overcooked, not hot enough etc., Examples- Breakfast: I had the breakfast mexi scramble and the salsa was like tostitos, ketchupy. Dinner: I had salmon and it was was overcooked ,lukewarm and dry. The kind of dry where it squeaks when you chew it. It was served with rice pilaf and a vegetable mix on the side snooooooooze ... is it 1970? Cocktails: syrupy sweet cocoa from a packet tasting cocoa with peppermint schnapps ( I had this on a snow day once) You could mix them better at home from your liquor cabinet. meh. The wine and beer list has decent options .

Quiche was pretty good. For a Sunday, with only a few tables taken and 6 folks working it took over 30 minutes to get my quiche (already prepared). Had to summon them for coffee refills and today my check. I'll drive. To Eugene next time.

This is a go-to spot when we're cycling to Veneta. They've got a great breakfast menu, but an even better lunch menu. One of my favorites is the Alpine Borscht. I have no idea what's in it, but it's thick, divine and so satisfying. Their sandwiches are huge and they use their homemade breads of course, however I don't order these as I enjoy their half order fish and chips instead. The fish batter comes out crisp and the fries are perfectly golden. The building itself is quaint; it used to be a church. When the weather permits, I prefer sitting outside in their patio surrounded by their beautiful garden.

Heading from the coast to the valley on highway 126, we need lunch and need it badly. Veneta and Elmira are the last chance before hitting the Eugene metro area, and Our Daily Bread looked more promising than the DQ. Setting looks nice, as others have noted, it's a former church that is light and airy in the main dining area. It's Sunday and we've missed brunch, which is fine, not a brunch person really. The non-brunch afternoon menu offers salads and hamburgers, so we go with one of each, a Cobb salad with chicken for her, and burger with avocado for me. Food is on the expensive side. Please tell me this means it's going to be good, Not many people here but the food takes forever to arrive. I'd decided to pass on the included fries in favor of cole slaw. The slaw is a pile of not too fresh bagged cabbage with an enormous glop of sweetened mayo on top with a huge dash of paprika on top of that. Uh oh. A nibble of that was more than enough. On to the burger, which is served on a house-baked bun (very good), but the meat is cooked to death, crunchy on the outside, dry and overcooked. The avocados were there, as if advocating for giving up meat (not a bad idea really in this context). This is not an appetizing meal, and looking over at her salad was really putting me off my feed. I wanted to say "what happened to your chicken?" but decided that she was having enough problems getting through her meal, but it really did not look good and I could see that she wasn't at all happy. She says: the lettuce was not fresh and was very watery, so much so that the predominant taste was water. The marinate for the chicken did not go well with the chicken. The latte was watery. The service was indifferent, and the food prepared by someone with little or no skill preparing food. Atmosphere: mid-80's Gypsy Kings on repeat. Yeah. On our way out of town, we saw a Dixies Cafe which I'm definitely checking out next time.

OMG, UNLIMITED BACON. Found this little gem on Yelp, decided a brunch buffet for $12.95 was a good price, trekked the 20 minutes from campus and fell in love. In love with the old school decor, the fire place, and the trays and trays of delicious food in the middle. The waitresses are wonderful. The foods were constantly re-stocked and covered when not used. Food was very good. Better than what you would expect from a buffet! Fresh fruit, eggs, potatoes, quiche, eggs benedict, french toast, bacon, cinnamon rolls and more I can't remember. Plus awesome desserts! Definitely recommend for a weekend brunch when you just want to wear fat pants and just gorge on good ol' american dining.

We eat there often. Excellent food. This is a family owned and run business that caters to local events, weddings and birthday parties. They have a back garden that can be used for such events. as well as a garden room. Have been present at a wedding held there. The food was excellent, the service great. They assisted in the decorating and set up and tear down of the event. I would highly recommend it for any casual wedding. I highly recommend Our Daily Bread.

So sad to say I have lived in the town for six years and heard great things about this place. I have eaten here three times in the last 3 months. None of which I was impressed. Today was hands down terrible. I do not ask for a lot and I understand food service well. They lady didn't greet us pleasantly and when we asked to sit outside she seemed upset about that. We ordered our food and noticed they filled up quickly. One of the workers with an apron came out to help another table who sat down behind us and she was very very rude to them. Then as she walked back past us she said "Dear god help me" and slammed the door!!!! Yiks! I went to pay my tab was for a Tuna sandwhich, the bread appetizer and dip, and a house salad. She gave me a $35 charge... When I asked her to review it of course she seemed unpleasant then realized that she over charged me $15... Mistakes or not, if the service is better all this could be over looked. I am sad to say I will no longer bring my business here.

Excellent breakfast. Our first time here since it has changed hands and we both enjoyed the meals. I had their veggie egg scramble with a side order of biscuits and gravy. Sweetie had their eggs and sausage. We arrived 30 mins before breakfast menu closed and the place was busy with hungry folks. Now I want their marionberry hazelnut French toast.

I had a really great experience here. This bakery restaurant is in a quaint little church. I've eaten one time at a place on the coast that was similar, and other than that I ate in a church restaurant years ago in Door County, Wisconsin........it's rare to see old churches converted into local cafes with a touch of flair.....this was a peaceful experience. Local artists have their works on display on the walls and they even have a wine and art corner shop where one can by locally made soap, lotions, bookmarks, art pieces, and wine accessories. We ordered the Borscht Soup. It was reasonable and very home-made. I enjoyed it. The couple next to us had so much food that they requested boxes. They also sell homemade pies that look delicious. My mother ended up buying their homemade croutons-----a large bag for only $1.50. I would come back here for sure if I was in the area. Loved It!

On our first visit to this fine establishment my wife and I were training for our Seattle to Portland weekend 200 mile bicycle ride. The reason I say that is after about thirty miles everyone knows a bicyclist will think everything remotely related to the food category is amazing. We split a burger / fries and each had a small dinner salad. Very good. Last week we had a second occasion to split their curry chicken spinach wrap and we were on motorcycles, so our taste becomes a bit more discriminating. And, I am happy to report, the food was very good. I found the wrap to be perfectly spiced with curry and our salads were fresh and crisp. I really like their raspberry walnut salad dressing, too. Service has always been fine and the wait staff is friendly and chatty!

Have wanted to try this little restaurant located in a charming former church building & stopped by for dinner on the way back from a day on the coast - and we weren't disappointed! We found it moderately busy on a warm summer Friday evening, with both indoor and outdoor garden seating available. Nice, well thought out dinner menu - I ordered one of the daily specials - a lovely fresh lightly sauteed Dover Sole with a very good pilaf and al dente fresh green beans, husband a mixed seafood fettucini - both well presented and very tasty. They do their own baking and the warm multi-grain bread we were offered was impossible to resist...since we'd already thrown diets to the wind we ordered dessert - a generous slice of home made carrot cake loaded with walnuts and heavenly fresh marionberry pie. Very pleasant ambiance, with friendly but unobtrusive service, very good food, moderate prices, a full bar and they even had a talented piano player quietly playing in the background...one of the nicest dinners we've enjoyed in a long time. Will definitely be returning.

Our Daily Bread was our wedding venue, and we couldn't be happier with the evening. The remodeled country church setting is intimate and comfortable. The food was amazing, we received complements from all of our guests. The service was prompt and courteous. Tabitha, the owner, was extremely helpful through the entire planning process. The wine list is extensive and focused on local wine. We are 100% satisfied with everything, and look forward to becoming regulars for their Sunday brunch. We highly recommend having an event or a meal here.

Food and service is great -- clean, nice out door seating or indoor. Service is outstanding. Have eaten here many times and always take company to here to eat. The breads are to die for and homemade croutons on salads. Every little appointment is perfect.

(5)Richard K.
Nice place for breakfast. We tried the biscuits and gravy combo with bacon, eggs, hashbrowns, and fruit, all good.
(4)Suzie W.

I stopped by for a first visit on a whim today with my mom. I bought the bacon blue cheese burger with sautéed mushrooms and also had some of my moms onion rings! (Wish I had gotten them)! Best onion rings I have ever eaten. Wow!! Hand dipped and came out light and crisp. Just a tad on the oily side, but the taste and texture more than made up for it. I have eaten probably 16,000 burgers in my life from 800 different places. This was, I'd say, the second or third best burger I have ever eaten. Not too much bread. Not a traditional bun. The right amt of tender ground beef. Red onions cut into slivers, not rings, so to get some in every bite. Ripe juicy tomatoes, smokey bacon, crisp lettuce, perfect blue cheese crumbles! Every bite was heaven and it would be next to impossible to share this item or give away precious bites to friends!!! Outstanding lunch! I WILL BE BACK FOR MORE! The place was fairly busy and the waitress was running. Very polite and helpful though regardless. Don't just drive by if you are in the area! You won't regret it! Thanks ODBR!!!
(5)David W.
(3)ReedNSarahmae Z.

(2)Colleen H.
Literally the best burger I've ever had, the Cajun BBQ burger, my Aunt said their hot ham and cheddar sandwiches is one of the best she's ever had. Great service and atmosphere! Also try the Chicken Curry Salad if you have room!
(5)Jonathan S.
Really excellent service from this cozy cafe located in a refurbished country church. The potato soup was very good and the breakfast special can't be beat. All in all a friendly 'home style' kind of place that you'll want to return to many times.
(5)Nicci P.
(3)Q Steve T.
(5)Cole D.
This place will not disappoint. We have been to breakfast 4 or 5 times and dinner once and will continue to go back. Everything we have tried has been amazing. The staff is very friendly and seems to really care how you are doing.
(5)Robert L.
Good service, great food. One of the best Reuben sandwiches I have ever had!
(4)Kyle B.
They have delicious food, and even better cookies and bakery items. Their service is a little iffy, if you get the waitress who works most the time, she will act like you are an inconvenience. Could stand to be a little more friendly, but like I said, the food is bar-none.
(4)Connie A.
(5)Shanice R.
Went back again for dinner, food was great, prices compared to Olive Garden, but unfortunately not a very god server this trip, ignored!!
(3)Lisa B.
(2)Nick G.
(5)Jan C.

(3)billy r.

(5)Krista F.
Great food, my favorite so far is the chicken curry salad, yum!! However, I'm not a fan of the fish and chips. This fish was good but the batter was too thick and soft. Same goes for the onion rings my husband had ordered.
(4)Carolyn E.
(2)Jeff Z.
(5)Steph K.

(5)Emmy L.
(5)Abby B.
Great prices for well-made food in a pleasant atmosphere. A little slow on a Saturday morning.
(4)Jeff T.
(3)Teri S.
(2)Greg H.
Quiche was pretty good. For a Sunday, with only a few tables taken and 6 folks working it took over 30 minutes to get my quiche (already prepared). Had to summon them for coffee refills and today my check. I'll drive. To Eugene next time.
(1)Wella A.
(4)Mark H.

(4)Patty R.
Delicious breakfast! Eggs Benedict with tomatoes and avocado on potato rosemary bread. To die for!
(5)Fern C.

Good God it's good. Best sausage I've had in awhile and the homemade bread is to die for.
(5)Danita R.
