Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Finally a good place for pizza. I like you can make it your way for one price. Very fast to order and cook. You could say the subway of pizza. Fresh and tasty. Beats most tualatins pizza joints.

This place was so cute! I love the concept. I'm not the biggest pizza fan, but this was exciting because i could do whatever I wanted! It was $7.95, and enough for 2 meals...so really it was pretty cheap! For the price, variety of toppings, and the size you can't go wrong.

Loved it! My wife got the gluten free and I got the regular! Not easily done everywhere else. Thanks

Smart concept! Tasty individual pizza. Served hot with your choice of toppings. Nice place and friendly service. We really enjoyed our visit!

I love the concept but Pieology falls a bit short. The ambiance is not conducive to dining in-- too brightly lit, and no beer or wine offered!! The pizza is well cooked, good toppings, good size for one person, overall pretty yummy... except the crust. The crust was thin and cardboard-y. And really, how good can a pizza be if the crust falls short? I didn't expect this to be a fine dining experience, but I wanted it to feel a little more special. Even Chipotle feels a bit more welcoming, and I think Pieology is supposed to be about the level of Chipotle. For a fast pizza experience that is yummy, quick, and fun, head up the road to Pizzasmith at Bridgeport Village.

Great, fast pizza. We loved the thin crust and the option to get our pies well done. Good selection of toppings (although i'd love to see spinach as an option) and all four members of our group were happy with their selections. We'll be back for sure.

Tried it twice, would go back. Went to two different locations, both times the staff wasn't overly friendly. Not rude, but not welcoming either. Good for the price, and the idea is very cool. Will give another star if I go back next time and the staff says more than "What kind of sauce?"

For artisan pizza, this place is solid but I would not say it stands out from other similar places. Beats MOD pizza in Sherwood by Walmart. I plan to return to Pieology often on. Service was good. Will probably frequent Perfect Pizza or Padingtons in Salem more often however.

I'm hooked! Quick, easy, custom, cheap... It's awesome!!! No matter what you get on your pizza, it's the same price and baked in 3 minutes.

The food was delicious and the service was awesome! Great tasting pizza and ready super fast.

Everyone working was super duper friendly. They did put a little too much olive oil on the crust at first so all of the toppings seemed to slip off too easy. Other than the fact that made it a little hard to eat, it was absolutely delicious. One thing i would recommend is putting out a tip jar. I tried to give the guy a tip and he seemed confused, but took it. Overall a good experience, will be back.

Hmmmmmm I'm undecided. Granted I only went once but I just dunno. Service was great, the pizza made right in front of me, didn't take long to receive; and it was only $7.95. But I was in the mood for PIZZA. For $7.95 it's hard to complain, but I ate the whole thing and felt like I hadn't had a thing. I guess if you want a snack, something for the kids, or are a light eater; you'll be perfectly happy. But if you want good ole PIZZA, you may want to stick to your usual places?

I really like the idea of creating my own pizza. It has pretty much everything you could possibly want to put on it and reasonably priced. The staff was friendly and the place was clean. The only thing that my son and I didn't care for - was how thin the crust is. It was like eating a specialized cracker. If the crust had been thicker we think it would have filled us up better than it did. Also thought the staff could have been alittle more generous with the ingredients. Couldn't even taste the sauce or the parmesan cheese. I guess we are hearty eaters, because it didn't even begin to fill us up, and we ended up going next door to buy some snacks.. Probably won't be going back.

Third Time is not a charm. I want to like this place for many reasons it's near my house; it gets great reviews; and it's pizza how can you go wrong. The first time I went I thought they were new and working out the the kinks. The second time I was confused maybe it was an off night. The third time drove it home I am just not going to like this place. Maybe it's me; I tend to be hyper critical of service. Upon entering it feels dead no energy no vibe. Most restaurants have music in the background and yes it can be distracting but it can provide atmosphere which is needed since the employees bring no vibe. Now the employees they don't smile is that a company policy it's almost like you are interfering with their time. Now for the food; the quality of ingredients is great but the burnt pizza kills it. Lack of energy generally leads to a lack of caring which pretty much sums up this place. Good luck to you I will be taking my pizza hitting talents elsewhere.

Another trip here, and it was even better. The Feta cheese really was pronounced on my pizza, just how I liked it! There really isn't nothing much else to say other than, this time is was just great. My hubby did ask for some extra BBQ sauce added to the top of his when it got out of the oven, and they accidentally put it on mine. Its fine. It didn't change or really alter the taste of mine. Other than that, its been super great and look forward to coming here again.

The pizza choices are simple and the inventiveness of this restaurant is great! I really enjoy the herb butter and marinara combo!
(5)Marcia H.
I love the gluten free pizza. This would be 5 stars but costumer service is be inconsistent and i had to send back a burnt pizza.

Somewhere between not good and just okay. When the novelty has ran off people will stop going to this pizza place. The crust is so thin is the size of cardboard and I mean thin cardboard. It's crispy which I tend to like but with very little flavor. They put a very small layer of cheese on and your toppings. The one benefit is you get to add whatever toppings you want although there are not placed on sparingly. The food cost was probably les than a $1.50, so paying $7.95 for a pizza doesn't create value for the customer. It does create a LARGE profit for this owner! The flavor was just okay. My biggest issue was the cheese was layered on so thin that when you pulled a piece apart the cheese came with it, so the piece next to it was left with just that super thin crust.

Pizza tasted exactly like frozen California Pizza Kitchen's thin crust but somehow it was way too salty. Maybe becasue we ordered sassage for topping. We had to wait more than ten minutes as it was weekend. It was less than $8 and because it is chaep and easy, we will come back. They have nice firepits outside with chairs.
(3)J. B.
YES! Pieology was so good. I must admit, it was a little overwhelming with so many people in the restaurant and so many choices (you build your own pizza in a Chipotle-esque style), but all the choices is what made the pizza so delicious. Other than your standard marinara, they have a herb butter sauce or olive oil as a base and then it's off to the toppings. You put what you want on your pizza and then BAM, four minutes later you are in pizza heaven! They have the regular fountain sodas, but also an iced tea machine that has....wait for it.... sweet tea! Any restaurant with sweetened tea that isn't Nestea or Brisk from a fountain earns points with me. I love the science of Pizza!

Been to this location multiple times. My advice, go to the Washington square location. The people are friendly and won't pile your toppings all in the center and then make you feel like a jerk for asking them to be spread out. Rude and disorganized staff. Manager seems like a nice guy. But he's not the one making the pizza...soooo.

My husband and I were looking for a place to have lunch after shopping and decided to give this place a try. I was not in the mood for it as I'm pregnant and red sauce gives me acid reflex, but I was hungry and this was the closes. My ONLY con about this place - which may be more of my problem - I had no idea which side was the order side. There's no signs saying where to go. Now on to the PROS - clean, friendly, quick, and DELICIOUS!! They appear to only have one size of pizza to choose from, but that's ok. I was able to choose an herb and butter sauce instead of a red sauce, though I could of had both. My husband and I shared one pizza, but it's more of a personal size pizza. He could have eaten a whole one - me, I was full at less than half, but could have eaten more to be pleasantly uncomfortable. We chose multiple cheeses - mozzarella, ricotta, and Parmesan. We got to put all the toppings on we wanted at no additional cost. I got the stuff I liked as well as he on our own sides. One pizza and one soda it was only $9.90!!! We had our pizza in a couple minutes cooked to perfection! Really!!! Maybe 2-3 minutes!!! Insane! And my husband and I can't stop talking about the food and it has been a couple hours. We would DEFINITELY go back. I might make him go back soon and we aren't close to this place at all!

Won't come here again. Stingy with ingredients, jarred garlic, Crust is like cardboard. Staff is great, other than that, two thumbs down.

LOVE! This place is one of my go to places when I want something fast. I love how you can make custom pizzas with any of the ingredients you want or you can ask for one of their recommended pizzas. Even if the line is a bit long to order your pizza from, it is worth it! Once you get up to ordering their staff is fast, friendly and kind to each customer as they go through. Their salads are also wonderful. If you want a caesar salad without meat they are more than willing to custom make one for you and will bring it to you literally in less than 5 minutes. The one thing I wish they offered though is bigger pizzas. Sometimes it would be nice to be able to order a medium pizza compared to having to order 2 individual ones.

Good pizza, great idea!! The staff was what was disappointing. Very unfriendly and rude, unwilling to help or provide customer service. They really made the experience disappointing.

I love Pieology pizza. This location however seems to have staff issues. The first time I went there was a girl at the register, a sweet younger girl and the register just froze and stop taking cards. She became a little overwhelmed and tried doing as best she could. Another lady who I have seen both times now was yelling at her in front of customers to hurry up. Uhm how about you get off your behindand do it? Once it unfroze about three minutes later, things were running smoothly again. This time, the line was to the door as it was lunch hour. I got my pizza after waiting 45 minutes. Even after paying for it and watching it go into the oven at 12:33 I didn't get it until almost 12:50. The same lady was there, she's an older one with glasses. Always yelling at people. She seems to be the only own stressing people out. Anyways, good pizza and I understand they're new to town. Understandable. They just have an oddball working there.

Second time visiting this chain and location and i have to say I sort of like pieology better then the other chain that does the same thing, the added bonus of them bring the pizza to the table one of the reasons instead of yelling out your name and the pizza tastes a bit better with a slightly thicker crust and more toppings. Crust is still thin but obviously it's that way so it can cook faster. Why the three star though? It boils down to the service. On my second time going I took my grandfather and I gave him my debit card so we can get the food paid for, as the woman (debbie) was making my pizza, the "mad to meat you" she got done with the standard toppings and as she was about to prep it for the oven I told her I wanted more more toppings,(mostly veggies) she had an attitude like she didn't want to do it or that she was pissed because I didn't tell her ahead of time. Normally they should ask if I wanted anything else on it but she failed to do so. Even before that she had a attitude because in was just standing there waiting to get the other toppings, I'm not sure if Debbie was just an employee or a manager. Regardless she needs more training in customer service. I'll return but I'm not sure if it will be to this location and if thats how pieology trains their employees to treat customers then I'll just go to the other chain for my custom pizza fix.

Good fast format pizza. Their crust has a bit more body than MOD or Pizzasmith. A little more chew to it. Toppings were good, just not plentiful or as carefully placed as the other two do. Pizza is flavorful, but mine did not hold up that well for take out. They seamed to steam up and get very soft, losing a little of that crust firmness. I will try them and eat in-house to get a better just out of the oven pie. Their salads are just ok, nothing that makes them stand out. Lettuce had some browning on the edges starting. The Cesar Dressing was good.i will try them again when the new store jitters get shaken off and the associates get a little more seasoned.

My boyfriend and I love this place because we can both have our own pie however we want and its not too much food and a great price and they have izze soda, which I love! It's like subway for pizza!

FAILOLOGY! Major Fail from horrible customer service to cardboard crust. Microwaveable pizza is better than this experience!

I love this place! We headed in late last night after my son's last baseball game and the staff couldn't be friendlier. This is the second location I've visited and they know how to pick great employees. The pizza is fantastic too! My favorite is the gluten-free, (wheat doesn't agree with me), veggie pizza with daiya cheese. My son and hubs also really enjoyed their personal pizzas as well. We'll be back.
(5)Amy S.
Crazy busy (Saturday lunch time) wait time was short & seating ample, & the pizza was amazing! Was even easy to navigate with hubby in a wheelchair, a serious plus for us! A bit noisy, but who's having an intimate conversation, I was busy eating.

Great gluten free pizza. Fresh ingredients. Quick service. Local craft beers on tap. Friendly staff! We will be back!
