I have been going here since it was previously known as Noah's Bagels. The quality still stands and I continue to visit here for my bagel needs. I have never been disappointed with the quality of food or customer service. Sometimes, during morning rush hour, my food may arrive a little later than hoped but you can't expect roadrunner speeds when there's five or six customers ahead of you; at least they staff accordingly in the mornings, which is usually four or more employees. I might add their prices (especially the drinks) are high, but they have to gain profit margins somewhere for a business that peaks in the morning time only.

Great service! We ordered breakfast for a company meeting and it was perfect. They had my order ready to go when I walked in the door.

I was happy one opened near my work! They really do have good bagels and this locations offerings of everything seem much fresher. They even have coffee cake and such for those with a sweet tooth for a fair price.

Got some sweet buy 1/get 1 coupons in the mail for this place, so we tried it out this morning. Got the ham and swiss egg bagel on garlic, and it was pretty tasty. Still have coupons for the panini, coffee and bagel sandwich, so I'll be back to update! Also, they have iced coffee and blueberry lemonade. Awesome? Awesome.

I want to start by saying that this review is not really about food quality. When we've been before, the food has been just fine. This is a complaint on the staff. We left the house a little too early and decided to get a coffee drink for myself. I hardly ever order a hot latte, so there's a part of me that doubts I forgot to say "iced" but I am human... So when they handed me a hot latte, I said "Oh! I meant for this to be iced... I may have forgotten to say." The girl just looks at me... Blank-faced... Now, I was a barista for a good while and usually it's customary to at least offer to re-make a drink in this situation. I would have understood if it'd been busy with a line out the door (hell, I probably wouldn't have even mentioned it), but we were very literally the only two people in the store... I didn't want to be an ass so I just asked for a cup so I can get ice. She huffed, got the cup, and handed it to me. We were also in shock as we left and were actually *still* trying to be nice by saying "Thanks! Have a great day!" and were met with just silence... We'll be going to Starbucks from now on when we get to my work early... VERY unimpressed...

Nothing particularly special about this place. They were able to satisfy a long-held need to eat lox, but otherwise it's just a bagel place. I like the bagels, but I found the selection of the sandwich fillers really limited. Reasonably priced if you are in the area though, which is good since most everything else out there is over-priced.

This is a review of the new country sausage egg panini only. The employees at this location are friendly and welcoming. I had a coupon for a $1.00 off a country sausage egg panini, so I got that and a large cup of coffee. The coffee (neighborhood blend) is good, hot and plentiful and I can add whatever I need to it (half and half). The country sausage egg panini was another story. First of all, the bread was not toasted until it was crispy. A panini by it's very definition should have some crunch. Typically I get the panini without the "sauce," but I left it (a reduced fat cream cheese with pepper) on this time because maybe Einstein's knows something I don't. Big mistake. It made everything even softer, squishier and downright slippery. Cream cheese, soft panini bread, cheese (looked like 2 kinds), egg and a turkey sausage patty going everywhere. Very bland and a bad mouth feel. Why not a turkey sausage egg panini with some vegetables like a tomato and spinach? Leave off the cream cheese! Who needs cream cheese when there are already hard cheeses on the panini? Very disappointed. Did not finish said sandwich. 1 star for coffee, 0 stars for this abomination of a panini.

I handle meeting and event planning for a living and work for a very large company here in the Portland area. I had a group of 50 people that I need to arrange a continental breakfast for. I thought I would give Einstein Bros Bagels a try. I order an assortment of bagels and muffins with cream cheese smears. The delivery showed up on time and the girl was very nice, but after setting up the continental breakfast she informs me she forgot to bring knives to smear the cream cheese, jellies, and butter on the bagels. I was holding my event at an offsite and had no access to plastic wear. The meeting was starting in 5 minutes so I was basically screwed! I contacted a manager after my event was finished. I got a manager on the line that informed me she was a "District Manager" and after explaining my situation she asked me WHAT DID I WANT!!!! I explained that I would like a credit. She informed me that she would have to contact her manager to get approval. I received a call back from the manager informing me that she got approval to offer me 15% off of my next order. I was not real happy with the offer as I felt they should have given me a 15% discount off the order they left no utensils for like they offered when I placed the order. Well, three weeks later I decided to give them another try and placed another order reminding them to bring utensils and that I was told I would receive a discount on this order being they would not discount other order they did not leave utensils for. I was informed there was a not on my account to apply a 10% discount too. I told the individual I was placing the order with that I was told it would be 15%, not 10%. He informed me that he would have to check with the manager and that they would then apply the discount. I would place the order agreeing to the full price at the time until he could contact manager confirm % of discount and then apply. The order was delivered and I was presented with a full price bill with no discount applied. I thought maybe they were still working on it. I received an email with the final bill, again reflecting no discount applied. That was it for me!! I also alerted others in the company I work for not to order through Einsteins. The group of us that do this (8) people all agreed not to use Einstein Bros Bagles in the future. They are unprofessional and as stated in other reviews the employees do not seem to know what they are doing, and I would have to include the managers in that group as well. To many other vendors in the area that are professional and follow through with what they promise the customer. The worst customer service I have dealt with in a long time.

Let me start by saying I LOVE the bagels here... the breakfast sandwiches are super yummy..... but the service at this location SUCKS. Every time I come here- about once a month- I know there is going to be a wait-and there always is. It's Sunday- people want bagels- I get it. But HIRE MORE PEOPLE!!! Hire people who actually KNOW what they are doing.... today there was ONE person in front of me who ordered ONE sandwich.... but there were 10 people sitting around waiting for food and one or two people making food.... everyone looked annoyed. I was annoyed. It took 25 minutes to get ONE BAGEL SANDWICH. Seriously? My bagel actually sat on the prep station for a few minutes and I had to ASK the girl to hand it to me---- That is not ok- I won't be back.... there are five other food places in that mall- next time I will choose something else....

This is a review only about this particular store. (the one near Bridgeport). First, they hire 2 distinct types of people... NoOps... and SUPER hard working. There used to be this lady that worked there (I don't see her there anymore, so she probably quit) that used to run sprints to get things done... single-handedly. I'm sure she burned out. This morning, there was ONE guy out of a crew of 5, who made most/all of the orders until the manager stepped in to help. Then there's the other type... stands there, stares up at the screens, talk a lot, and do nothing. There was a girl who was doing that this morning. The net result is, out of a crew of 5, you get 2 useful ones, and 3 not so useful ones. The other thing - this place runs out of bagels more than any other Einstein Bros. What's the excuse? If you know to staff up on Fridays because you know there's a bigger crowd, what's your excuse for not having enough bagels? They ran out of the Cinnamon Raisin bagels... and that one is a NEW product offering in breakfast sandwich! How do you mess up promotions like that? One last thing... and I think this is all Einsteins. I get the idea of a register to take orders, and another one (way on the other side of the store) to pay. When you staff 2 people in the store... you wind up getting a great show, watching one person, take your order... then run over to the other register to get your payment, then run back to make the order. (again, keep in mind, crew of 2 means one good one, one useless one). This store would be a perfect candidate to be an efficiency study, or get that guy on Food Network to come in and fix the problem (you know, the muscle head). Anyways, the one thing this place has going for it, it's in a good location where there's a lot of foot traffic for people going to/from work. Message to the owners - don't assume you can keep the store open purely based on location. There are plenty of examples of good ideas that have shutdown due to bad service. I'd give this place lower than 2 stars, but the bagels are still ok. And there are hard working folks here, and they push the score up. Get your act together! Get rid of the fat/overhead and then you have a chance to be awesome.

Was in Beaverton last week and stopped at Einstein Bros Bagels while a "buy a coffee, get a pumpkin anything free' promotion was on. Got a decent fresh brewed cup 'o' joe and a pumpkin bagel with pumpkin cream cheese and paid for the coffee & the bagel with cream cheese was credited. So yesterday I stopped at the Einstein Bros Bagel across from Bridgeport Plaza; ordered the same thing -- cup of coffee + free pumpkin treat. Very surprised when checking out to find that the coffee was on the ticket and the pumpkin bagel was credited but I was charged for the cream cheese. The inconsistency in offerings between the 2 stores was enough to make me ask about the difference but I just got blah, blah, blah. I wouldn't have minded paying the add'l cost if the 'schmeer' had it at least been more than just a minimal swipe of the spatula -- really is it too much to expect at least a decent amount of cream cheese when you're paying extra for it? Also, the coffee container only had about 2 ounces of Vanilla Hazelnut coffee and when I asked for more, the counter guy said they don't make fresh coffee in the afternoon unless it's by the cup. To his credit, he offered to make me an Americano which was good enough to perk me up tho not the tasty Vanilla Hazelnut coffee I'd been craving. I've learned to only go in the mornings.
