The park was ok, pretty clean and nicely located with access to the river. Our issues were mainly with the number of permanent residents living there and the theft of our friends bicycle while staying there. We were told that things like that have been known to happen there. The trains were also very loud.

We stayed here about 3 weeks in one of the riverfront spots. The trains are soo close they actually shook our 5th wheel and they blow their horns at all hours. The wifi is basically non-existent; don't count on using this. We did get basic cable so it wasn't too terrible on rainy days. There's not a lot of space between rigs when both have slides, but they do have a driveway for an extra vehicle which was great. Everything you could need is nearby and a tiny section of town is within walking range. Be prepared that if you plan on staying a month or more, they require a background check. Overall, it was fine. We felt safe.

I'll keep it short and to the point. Nice looking park. Wifi is difficult to use. I'm still not sure if they charge. It looks like it's $10. Or maybe free. I'm not certain. Went through the login process and then it looked like an error but there was a link to buy a $10 access. Annoyed I dropped that approach and turned on the hotspot on my cell. Even if I did get through you're limited to 1500 meg per hour which means we could not stream video from Netflix or make calls through the net. Weird that all the water, power and cable hook ups are located at the street right when you pull onto the parking pad rather than 10-20 feet in. So you may need extra long hose, cable and cord. Odd placement. Update, as we were leaving I saw another row where the power and sewer were moved in to the pad. Mke sure you pick the right row if your sewer and power aren't at the rear.

Sandy River Front RV in Troutdale is awesome. The setting here is beautiful - staying in the gorge was awesome! The resort is nestled in some trees right alongside the river. The park is quiet and peaceful. There are several long term residents but they all keep their areas very tidy. Everyone we talked to during our stay (visitor's, residents, and staff) was friendly. The bathrooms were clean and showers had ample hot water. The ladies bathroom however did have a really bad smell; I would describe it as that smell in a hair salon when someone is getting a perm. It was a very peculiar smell but tolerable - wouldn't keep us from coming back. The laundry room was nice but you do have to get tokens. We left on Sunday and had many tokens left. The office was closed so we put them in a baggie, wrote down our space number, and put it in the drop box at the office. We didn't know if we would get the money back but it was only $11 so it was no big deal. To our surprise a couple weeks after our trip we received a money order in the mail for the $11. Thought that was really cool. The grass spaces between RVs wasn't bad, a little small but nice enough. This park does allow dogs but they must be 20lbs or less. Close to downtown Portland - only about 15-20 minutes. Really close to Multnomah Falls!! There is no pool at this resort but the river is right there! Across the street there is a park with a small beach allowing access to the river. While we were there a first-aid/life guard area was set up where they were educating visitors of the swift currents and passing out life vest for kids to use if they were going to play in the water. While speaking with the life guards they informed us of a few recent drownings in the river - so if going with little ones keep this in mind before letting them play in the water! The resort does have air traffic overhead but it really wasn't bad. We actually had fun while sitting at the picnic table having dinner watching the planes go overhead. Noise wasn't an issue at night while trying to sleep. We would recommend this park if you are planning a visit to Portland. It is outside of Portland but doesn't have the loud constant train and air traffic noise that the larger RV parks closer to downtown have. Also doesn't have that total Parking-Lot feel the other have. We would have stayed here during this summer but there is a small chance we might take our Basset Hound and unfortunately she wouldn't be welcome as she is WAY over 20lbs.

Clean and seemed safe. Not much room tho. Wi Fi is poor
