Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

Huge portions served with affordable prices. The meal is 5 stars. My wife and I visit the area once a year and we have to eat at Lins when we are in town. You won't be disappointed.

Very good family food. Owners also have local egg/chicken farm. Hot sour and egg drop soups are well above average. Pot stickers are chicken and dough/ bread only; good, but plain. Plenty of mushrooms and other fresh ingredients in all dishes. For Tillamook it's a hit and we'll come back.

I've eaten here twice and was pleased the first time I ordered a special request and it was prepared well. Both times the food was reasonably fresh and well-seasoned, but the tea is awful! I have never tasted tea so bad, and I drink tea every day. Nice touch at the end of the meal, they bring a tiny scoop of ice cream (very likely Tillamook) that is just the right amount. It's sad that this is the best Chinese food in Tillamook, but also sad that one cannot expect something better in a small town.

Solid Chinese food, large portions and good prices. Really enjoyed the kung-pao chicken.

The food was typical Americanized Chinese, but the staff was AMAZING! We arrived at 9:40pm, 10 minutes after their posted closing time and they still let us sit down and order. They didn't rush us out and were really nice. If you want great service, I recommend this place!

Like other posts have noted here, there are two types of Chinese food. There's the more authentic style, and the breaded fried Americanized style. This is definatly American style. Now, for the style that it is, its prety good. The egg roll was good and ours were not greasy. The generals chicken was also great, but not very spicy like most places I've had it. I loved the shrimp (fried), crab wontons, and egg drop soup. The chow mein was just okay, and the pot stickers were just odd. They were huge, fried, and fell apart easily. The atmosphere is clean, but very simple. I do like that they had a pick your own choices plate. Althought it could have had a few more options. This is not PF Chang's. If you like fried, old school Americanized Chinese food, you will probably find a few things here that you really enjoy.

I stopped in with some colleagues from work for dinner in early August. The wait staff acted like they were upset we came in at 7 p.m.. It took only about 5 minutes to get someone to our table and take the order. NO COMPLMENTARY TEA! One of our party asked for tea, it never came. We had to ask another waitress and finally got some. The food was marginal at best. No "thank yous" from the staff or management. We'll never go back.

Sat in the bar, it was pretty dirty and run down. They had some old rusty chicken in-front of a tv that was misplaced and just looked like a junk pile, among other things stored on that table were empty glass bottles in crates. It was kinda weird. My wife and I were attended to quickly in the bar, our food came out pretty quick and was pretty good. The portions were huge. The crab puffs were also good. The service disappeared when a group of 6 locals came in though. We got offered a refill after she brought out to-go boxes. 3-stars overall, the food was 3.5 star, waitress was 3-star, atmosphere was a 2-star.

We stop here as often as possible and always enjoy the food as well as the service. Sometimes we make excuses to drive to the coast just for Chinese food at Lin's Restaurant. We haven't found a Chinese restaurant in Portland that compares to Lin's for the quality of food, with beautiful presentation on the plate, friendliness of service. They give us generous portions at a fair price of tasty chow. Broccoli beef is delicious, as well as Mongolian beef, chicken almond chow mien, lo mien, bar-b-que pork. We enjoy the selection of combination plate choices for dinner. Sorry to see the older one star reviews bring the rating down to three star average for Lin's. We don't understand the poor reviews as we have always had satisfying meals here.

Terrible food, wonderful entertainment though. Watched a child play with a stick and then mysteriously disappear outside the window. We had gone to the cheese factory previously. Just didnt want cheese. There was no cheese. But so much celery. Where did the girl go?

I just had a really good meal. We entered at 845 on a Sunday night & expected rushed & inattentive service. Quite the contrary was true. Nice food & service from the egg flower soup through to the entrees.

Only reason for this rating was they were open at 9 pm when everywhere was closed on a Sunday. The food was barely edible. Considering how hungry I was at the time, this may have been a bit generous.

Really, really bad (Americanized) Chinese food. The egg rolls were soaked with oil, so much that they were leaking it. The hot and sour soup was neither and tasted nothing like any other hot and sour soup I've had. The service was not good. When I asked if I could get a dish with tofu, i.e., I wanted no meat, he said I could get it with tofu, but the tofu comes with shrimp. I explained I didn't want shrimp, but just tofu with the dish, and he said the tofu could come with shrimp or chicken, but not by itself. I didn't stick around for an explanation. As an aside, and in the interests of full disclosure, there are a LOT of people in Tillamook that love Lin's. I have no idea why. None. It is not good by any stretch of the imagination. I kept on trying to think of a reason how I could give it two stars, but came up with nothing. Also, the owner of Lin's bought Fei Ying's (another Chinese place in Tillamook), and I've heard it's just as bad or worse there now than Lin's. Your best bet for Chinese in Tillamook is The Chinese Garden (on North Main/101).
