This place is horrible! The place looks like a funeral parlor, stuffy staff, and tasteless greasy food! Would never eat here again.

Closed. Yes, a little greasy and a lot of the food all had the same taste but it was reliable and had good service. Too bad it closed.

Surprisingly for a chain Chinese restaurant many of the dishes are close to being pretty authentic and well prepared. I've been to multiple sites of this place and they are all consistent. On top of all that they are CHEAPER than PF Chang's and just about equal in authenticity so given the choice you choose cheap over expensive.

Good. Fast. Cheap! Went to Wu's yesterday for lunch for the first time in years. Several years ago, I used to frequent the Lake Oswego location when I worked nearby, but haven't been back since. However, I remembered thinking that their food was tasty and a great value and I'm glad to see that's still the case. You definitely get your money's worth here, especially if you order one of their daily lunch specials. Being a frugal gal at heart, I ordered up one of the lunch specials -- Shredded Beef with Hot Spicy Sauce. Included in the lunch special was a cup of soup, I opted for the Hot and Sour and it was delicious -- the perfect antidote to the freezing wind outside. My food came out just a few minutes later and I was impressed by both the quality and the quantity of the serving -- I even had enough to take home for later. And since it was a daily special, it was only $5.25. My inner skinflint was jumping with joy! The service was friendly, professional, and fast. Next time I'm craving Szechuan/Hunan food, I'll be heading over to Wu's and ordering up the special.

I love food, and I am easy to be satisfied. Wu's manage to say "I would never come back". I don't mind American-Chinese food; but Wu's is just bad. First, the vegetables are not fresh, they are frozen vegetable. Seriously, you want to survive in Portland with frozen vegetable? and the food coloring takes the cake. The meat balls were so red, it was actually kinda scary.

Best Chinese food I can find. When I am in Portland I eat the sesame chicken at least twice a week. Great food at a reasonable price. Order the sesame chicken, it will make you very happy!

We have always gone to the Tigard location but when that closed we started making the trip to this restaurant. We love the food and have tried almost everything on the menu. The service is great, the prices are reasonable and well worth it. Highly recommend it!

I go here pretty often. The Garlic shrimp and sesame chicken are really good. Fast service and good food. I would recommend it

There used to be a Wu's in the Beaverton area, and I am told it was good. We ordered take out from this particular restaurant last week and it was the worst Chinese food I have ever had. It tastes like they took no time making it and it was so greasy and oily it took away from the bad taste. I am not a person that writes reviews. I don't know if I got a bad batch, but all (4) things we ordered were bad. The Dumplings were not cooked all the way through. The General Tso's Chicken was greasy and tasted more like sweet and sour chicken. Finally, the Lo Mein was not enjoyed too much because I could not get past the smell. I won't be going back. I would rather eat at Panda Express and not drop a $50 bill for a family meal.

Not great! It seemed pricey and wasn't very good. The kung pao chicken wasn't spicy at all! The orange chicken was ok, but the noodles were icky.

We love Wu's-- best Chinese restaurant in Portland, in our opinion. We like the spicy dishes-- sesame chicken, shredded pork in garlic sauce, and many more. Good service, very efficient and delicious food. A consistently good choice for dinner.

Zero stars, ordered sesame chicken to-go , ready in ten min. Chicken was day old at least , tasted like it was going bad a few days ago and they cooked it so they didn't have to throw away! Eww, ate three bites and couldn't get past the jerky-like texture and old chicken taste. Chef Ian says " don't fucking do it"

Got a migraine after eating here. Too much MSG perhaps... Never going back. Better getting a Carls Jr burger just outside....

Our favorite Chinese. Liked it better when Billy was there but still love it on Sunday night. All meat and few veggie fillers on their meat dishes. Great Kung Pao.

We went to Wu's for the first time tonight. First thing you notice when you are seated is how nice the place is. As soon as we were seated a server came out with ice water and hot tea (I LOVE hot tea) so I of course was very pleased. The Wonton soup was wonderful, the Pork Lo Mien was very tasty. (the noodles were done perfect and the sauce was full of flavor) My Fiance` ordered the sesame chicken and was very please. The portions are large and the prices are wonderful. The wonton soup was so good I got an order to take home for lunch tomorrow. I highly recommend. The staff was friendly and attentive. We will be back for sure.

Been going here once a month for 3 years at least. Always ordered the General Tso's Chicken and pot stickers. We decided to order a huge batch for superbowl. It was inedible. So much salt, on the chicken, that it had to be spit out. They have lost my business for a while.

This place should be called Woe's Bad Kitchen. The food is nasty. I would not recommend it to an enemy. That they are still open is a miracle.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
