Very pleased! We were visiting friends (whose anniversary it happened to be) but my wife loves seafood, and we were staying right across the street so after Yelping it we thought 'why not?' Wife had the crab and shrimp stuffed salmon, "it wasn't the best I've ever had but it was good". Coming from her, that's damn good. I had the Seafood Cobb salad which was EXCELLENT. I should have taken pictures but I didn't want to be 'cell phone rude' being out with friends. Another Yelper said the chowder was good...they were right. Even the croutons that came with it were special, and not just the usual little baggy full of hexagonal saltines. A couple others in our party had the seafood linguini which apparently was also very good as the plates were clean at the end of the meal. The service was wonderful, the place was clean, all in all a good experience...unless you want to drive to the coast for seafood, you'd do very well stopping here.

What part of "It's about the food" doesn't Red Lobster understand??? You can remodel the restaurant and have the best servers ever but, if the food looks and tastes worse than a frozen TV dinner all the rest is for not! I ordered a combo which included lobster tail, skewered shrimp, and something unmemorable. The shrimp were allegedly cooked but they were translucent and tasted a lot like salty buggers. I've never seen "cooked" translucent shrimp before. They were also oddly uniform in size and packed tight as if they were preprocessed and frozen on the skewer. My husband's looked exactly the same. I mentioned that to the manager and she didn't deny that much of the food is preprocessed and frozen. The lobster was salty and rubbery. We live in the Great Northwest! We have the best salmon on the planet, unless you are eating at Red Lobster. Their salmon is a sad frozen east coast import. Why? Because they were purchased from Darden restaurants and are owned by an east coast conglomerate. No great surprise, Red Lobster just won the dubious distinction for worst nutrition due to extremely high sodium content and high calories. The manager agreed to comp our meal but that still left us with a Red Lobster gift card. We took it to Olive Garden. We were advised by the good folk at Olive Garden that Red Lobster was no longer a Darden restaurant but they agreed to accept the Red Lobster gift card. Thank God!

I had been here before with coworkers for lunch and it was so so. I was in the area and decide to give it another try at dinner time. I chose to sit in the lounge with immediate seating and there are a couple TVs to watch. I was greeted immediately with a smile by my waitress, Emma. She informed me that it is Lobsterfest, provided me with a menu and took my beverage order. Emma came back promptly and ask if I have any questions and took my order. I chose the combo with Walt's Shrimp and shrimp linguine. For sides I had the baked potato and salad. I quickly received my salad and some piping hot Cheddar Bay biscuits. Who doesn't love those biscuits. They are a little bit of cheddarly no garlicky yummo! They tasted better than what I remember. The salad was fresh iceberg with cucumbers, tomatoes and purple onion. It was good. My entree arrived shortly after I was done with my salad. AND she brought more biscuits. :-) the Walt's shrimp was battered and fried. The coating was thin but it was a bit over done and hard in areas. The shrimp linguine had baby shrimp mixed in linguine with a light alfredo sauce. It was ok, but the shrimp were not flavorful. The baked potato was over cooked and pretty petite. All in all I had great service but the food was not so great. I'm sure this chain restaurant can do much better. 2015-49

Had to go here. The lady has raved about this place. Personally I avoid chain restaurants at all costs with the exception of Red Robin and BWW. The meal ordered was good but the prices here seem too high for what it is. I would rather go somewhere else for what we paid. The service however was very good.

I have never been to a Red Lobster until last week. We stopped by for dinner on a Thursday. My husbands dish was delicious. My salmon was okay. The biscuits are to die for. They give you a lot of food. Our server was very funny. He was very friendly and the service was excellent.

Did you know that Red Lobster started in Maine? That's where the Maine lobster idea comes from I bet.. ;) I did it.. I went here. It was for my bestie's BIG birthday and this is where she chose. I have not stepped into a Red Lobster in 25 years? Chains bore the crap out of me. She wanted lobster. I'm thinking ya let's go to Maine then. I also thought ok I'm ordering a whole steamed lobster. We'll just see about all that. (I'm from back east originally. I know my lobster). The one I got? I swear I knew him, very well. He was delicious! Sweet, tender, not overcooked, and plenty of meat. My server cracked it all up for me too. Speaking of servers, she was awesome, and an Oceanography major, go figure right? She was perfect for the job from my malbec wine (which was pretty good too by the way), to our appetizer, salad, and our sides. They totally bring out the food let me tell you. We also got the lobster sauce over our bakers. That topped it all off. My friend? She always sees me checking into places.. she looks at me and says- oh right.. you won't check in here will you? I'm thinking, hmm.. she's calling me a snob. Well I'll show her.. and you. I did check in and I did take a pic. Not too shabby.

So, here we go again. I didn't plan to come back but my husband was not feeling well and the only thing he wanted to eat was bacon potato soup from Red Lobster. You know how it is when you are sick. Nothing sounds appetizing. This experience was better by far. They weren't as crowded, so there was no wait to be seated. The service seemed a little slow, but that could have been because we had not eaten all day and were really hungry. Hubby had the bacon potato soup, and shrimp linguini. It was pretty good. I had the Parmesan chicken Alfredo, which was also pretty good. The biscuits were greasy, but better than the last time, and still very messy/crumbly. Crumbs all over. The table, the seats, the floor, etc. Our server, Cat, was very pleasant, friendly, and smiled at everyone. She checked on us frequently and refilled our drinks. She made helpful suggestions about the menu and was able to answer all of our questions. There is no wifi here. I am surprised by this because I would have loved to have "checked in" on yelp, and might have even signed up for the email club that was advertised on the table. If you ask customers to get online while at your restaurant, it seems like a given that you should have wifi. My biggest complaint is about the cleaning process. They take a big spray bottle full of pink chemicals to each table between patrons, then they put a dozen or so paper towels on the table and spray until the whole thing is soaked. The problem with spraying is that the spray was getting everywhere. When they cleaned the table behind me I could feel the spray falling into my hair and onto my face. Obviously, it must have rained into my food as well, so I didn't finish. It also seems pretty wasteful to use paper towels to clean the tables instead of a washable cloth. Since my husband likes it there, I will probably be back again.

The last two times we have tried to eat here, it has been awful. They used to be good, not sure what happened? The last time we went here, My son got the snow crab and I got king crab and both were gross. How do you screw that up?! It was off, like spoiled and way way salty. We sent it back. We didn't even order a replacement meal because the other food we got was gross too. Even our toddlers wouldn't eat their food, it was so bad. My husband ordered salmon and it was fishy... Good fish isn't supposed to be fishy. We left here still hungry and had to find food elsewhere. We used to consider this a good place, but never again will we dine here or recommend it! A shame considering they spent ask this money remodeling the place.

My favorite seafood chain - quality is usually consistent and service is predictable. Very little wait time after calling in, and waitress was very upbeat and friendly. I come here on special occasions 1~2 times a year, and I always look forward to the buttery-salted biscuit. I don't come here on a diet! lol Thin crusted lobster pizza arrived as a appetizer. Tomato was fresh and plenty of meat. Biscuit was surprisingly low-sodium and I couldn't taste the butter as much... Did they change the recipe? So I dunked it in lobster juice with garlic and it was superb. Little main lobsters were perfect portion for two. Overall I'm satisfied with the service and food, but I bought a box of red lobster biscuit mix to satisfy that sinfully rich carbohydrate intake for Christmas to share.

Like most. not a big fan of chain restaurants. This location is probably on of the nicest decor, clean and simple. Dined here twice in one month, my mom was visiting from out of town and she wanted to go here, and my sons 5th birthday he wanted to come here as well. Service I'd give a 5 star, food not so much. Both times we ate here the lobster and prawns were really really dry. I had a seafood pasta dish that was decent, and their clam appetizers were ok as well.

Good service, gross food! I ate with a friend for dinner and we both have stomach aches and feel like vomiting. I highly do not recommend

The remodeled restaurant looks much nicer than before. There's usually always at least a 30 minute wait during dinner on weekends here. The food is what you can expect at any Red Lobster. It's the biscuits that keep me coming back.
(3)
Steve R.
You can now call in up to 60 minutes before arrival to get your name on the wait list. Can be a bit challenging for larger groups as they have limited seating for more that parties of six.

Fresh review of the 'new' place: So there are more tables and its more open and that's where the 'new' ends. Clam Chowder was 'canned like' tasting. Chedder Biscuits were same. Ceasar Salad had zero dressing on it. Prices were really high, portion sizes were small. Local place won't honor the nationally advertised prices. For the same price or less, run up the road to Seasons & Regions and tell this place a resounding "no!"

Always a pleasure to come here and I don't even like seafood! The staff is always extremely friend and I love the chicken! The cheddar biscuits are the best!!!

My son wanted lobster for his 13th birthday. I called in on Thursday to determine the reservation/call-ahead options as we have six to seat. I received a message explaining the call-ahead option. So, tonight I called ahead. I patiently listened to the same message about the service before being connected to a person. The lady kindly explained that the call-ahead service wasn't available because "tomorrow is Valentine's Day." We drove over and were told there would be an hour and a half wait. Completely ridiculous to suspend the policy for the day before Valentine's Day. Equally annoying not to mention that it would be suspended all weekend during your message about the service. The only reason I can think of for not having the service available on busy nights is to avoid the situation where the host needs to tell callers that regardless of them calling ahead, the wait was significant such that the callers make a different arrangement. Instead, the get people to show up knowing that some will gut out the wait when they wouldn't have had they known in advance.

Went with another couple on NYE. We used the call ahead seating and it worked fine, got seated in a reasonable amount of time and our waitress was doing her level best to keep up but those are the only good things I have to say about this place. The drinks took forever to arrive because the "bartender is backed up". When my drink finally did arrive it was watered down. Seriously? A national chain watering down whiskey? Now one would think that a restaurant named Red Lobster would at least be able to cook a lobster correctly. Well, one would be wrong. All four of us ordered lobster and they managed to screw up every one of them. Two of us ordered the live Maine lobster, I had the Maine lobster linguine and my friend had the NY steak and lobster tail. Everything was extremely overcooked and the lobster tail that came with the steak was "inedible". The only thing that wasn't overcooked was the linguine, the lobster that came with it was either the consistency of sawdust (claw meat) or rubber (tail meat). I tried my wife's 1.25 lb Maine lobster and it was the same way. I'm surprised the general manager has the guts to put his name on a brass plaque on the front of the restaurant. I'd be ashamed to serve food that bad.

Cheddar biscuits. Stop there and don't eat another thing, cuz nothing else is worth the calories. The service is excellent, however.

My boyfriends is very fond of Red Lobster, but every time I come here I am disappointed. I order the half order of the Shrimp Alfredo. On looks alone it looked creamy and delicious, but when I tasted it... Really tasted bland like butter noodles. Plain butter and noodles. I get this is at a seafood place, but that is fairly tasteless if you ask me, wanted to try something different. Needless to say, I don't recommend this dish.

I took my wife and son here for a lobster dinner. My son was leaving for the Navy the next day and I wanted to give him a great lobster send off. We are from the East Coast and have lived in Oregon for 20+ years. The lobster was tough, tasted like it was cooked yesterday and put in the frig to keep overnight. The service was fine but the food was REALLY bad. We'll NEVER be back to ANY Red Lobster. I should have taken them to Joe's Crab Shack.

Good Food, Terrible Beer Selection We dinned at the Washington Square location on January 9. Since they don't take reservations, we had about a 30 minute wait. We ordered a drink in the bar and the first thing I noticed was the beer selection. Four on tap, Bud Lite, Drop Top, Sam Adams & Widmer Hefeweizen. The barkeeper didn't mention the Widmer and it isn't on the menu. Come on people, this is Portland, Beervana! Surely you can do better than that! The wine list is adequate and just about what you would expect for a chain. Our server, Samantha, was great! We both ordered the 'Bar Harbor Lobster Bake', one of the most expensive items on the menu and not listed on their website. The salad was mediocre to say the least. Lettuce, a few cucumber bits, two plumb tomatoes and lots of croutons. See the photo. The entree came too soon through no fault of Samantha. This entree included two small lobster tails, scallops, mussels and many small prawns over a large portion of pasta. My pasta was rather dry upon arrival but Samantha quickly provided more sauce. The Mussels were baked and varied from over cooked to just about right. Aside from these fairly minor defects, we were both very pleased with our meal. We took home enough for a good start on another meal. Last but not least, the Cheddar Biscuits, great! Hot out of the oven, no butter needed and an extra bag to take home.

This is the first time I went back to this red lobster since the remodeling. I tried the lobster feast menu. I got a dual lobster tail, one is Maine petite lobster tail, the other is a bigger rock lobster tail. I have to admit the lobster tails are kind of a disappointment to me. The Maine lobster tail is supposed to be very tender and sweet, but the Maine tail is very salty that ruined my appetite. The rock lobster tail taste good but it's kind of over cooked. I complained to the waitress and she was very nice to offer me another Maine tail. I offered my advice to have the Maine lobster tail rinsed thoroughly to remove the sea salt before cooking it. After I got the new Maine tail, it's a lot better and sweet and very tender as it should be, but the first salty Maine tail kind of ruin my appetite for that night. If I have a choice next time, I would choose the lobster from Benihana, it tastes a lot better for about the same amount of money.

I have to say that tonight's experience at the Red Lobster was far better than any of the handful of other times I've been to one. I was searching for a nice seafood (okay, lobster) meal anywhere in the Portland metro area and seeing as how all of the moderately priced places were rated 3 stars on yelp I decided to go with big red. I absolutely was not disappointed. We got there around 5 (on a Friday) and had to wait 30 minutes or so, by the time we left the wait had tripled! The place was *packed*. And rightly so! For a chain restaurant where the freshness/frozen-ness of the dishes is questionable, everything was really tasty. The service was friendly and timely despite how busy it was. We had a really nice manager deliver our drinks and food which was a good touch. I don't know if this place is just amazingly better after the remodel or if my fellow reviewers were in a bad mood or what... but it's clear this restaurant is trying hard to make a good impression.

Sitting here waiting still for the food but already the service has failed me. She took our orders. 15 minutes later appeared with the wrong salads. We ordered a meal to go and asked to be brought at the end of our meal, she brought it as soon as it was done. Had to ask another server for refills. Food: chips were stale served with the artichoke crab dip. Walt's feast: 15 pre frozen shrimp. My mom, however, was happy with the ultimate feast BUT! yes, there's a "but", it came without lemon and the thingy you use to crack the crab leg shells. When we asked for one, they said "THEY'RE ALL IN THE WASHER RIGHT NOW" Are u kidding me????!!!! I'm done with this place. For these prices, I'd rather make the drive to Joe's Crab Shack.

I know I know. It's a chain. But sometimes the comfort of knowing that what you are expecting is nice. The wait was typical. About 30 minutes (even though we were told 25, not bad, but we figured it would be longer). It's was busy so it wasn't the end of the world. :) We got sat and greeted fast. Drinks hit the table quickly as well. Our server was great. Friendly, quick with refills and checking on us. Even when the food started to drag as the kitchen got slammed. Kudos to her for keeping her tables in check! Food was hot and exactly what we ordered. Crab. Shrimp. So no surprises. Server even came back to get another order of shrimp in so we wouldn't wait too long. All in all it was a good experience. We will most likely return. Some menu items even gave me inspiration for some home cooking lol. It's a darden restaurant, so they manage to keep things on par no matter the location, and like I said, sometimes that's a good thing.

I have been here before. I am comparing it to all other Red Lobster type restaurants. The service is good. I have never had anything less than good or great service here. The food fresh. A good drink selection. Today the service was exceptional! I just had an appetizer and a glass of wine. I have no issues at all. If I had to pick a negative thing I guess I would say it seems dark in here. It is clean though ... I just like bright and sunny! :) enjoy!

Sadly, Quality of the menu keeps going downhill. RL used to be my absolute favorite. Every birthday every anniversary. But for some reason they took my favorites off the menu. They'll still make it if I ask which is nice , but when I get lobster and scallops and then have to ask for melted garlic butter- and then have to wait until my food gets cold to get it--- what's with that? They need to go back to what they were good at. Quit cutting corners.

Lunching alone at Red Lobster is one of my dirty little secrets. I come in about once a month for those delicious little biscuits, a Cesar salad, a diet coke and shrimp your way (coconut bites and fried shrimp). The place is clean, the service is good, and the price is right. See you next month Red Lobster.

There with my wife of 26 years for our anniversary and it was a total disappointment. the first lobster was under cooked and taken away... 20 minutes later after my wife had eaten her meal I was l served lobster that was a substandard and promised that the manager would come talk to me but he never did. we paid the tab and left just thought I would give everyone a shout out that Red Lobster at Washington Square is not good even after the remodel was better before will never go back sorry to give a bad report but that's just the way it is.

I don't care if people poo-poo this because it's a chain. People - sometimes chains win because they are GOOD. RL is one of those. I would never say they have a creative fare, unique dishes or anything like that. It's what it is - a chain seafood joint. And you will probably wait. They have a wait. Always. They don't fake that. If you rate them less for a wait, go...jump off a bridge. So. Pathetic. So we do wait - when we decide to come here we are IN. We WAIT. We want RL food. We WAIT. And the menu is the same, it's predictable. Decently priced seafood. Fresh. I always ys get the seafood lover's with shrimp, lobster and crab. Always. It's a feast that takes some time to muck through, but the servers never rush out the door. Maybe that's why other people wait. Whatevers. It's a chain. It's hokey. But it works. Their biscuits are bomb. The salad is good. The meals are great - unless you are a snob. If you are, go to a $50/pound seafood place and let me know how that works out. It's a chain, but it works because their seafood wins.

okay.... I went here today for the grand reopening... Have to say it looks loads different now. A nice blue on some of the walls, dark wood. The tables had white tablecloths and the booths were nice. As it was opening day... there were a few minor hic-ups that are sure to be ironed out shortly. The food was very good, the biscuits were even better than I remembered. Our food was served on new plates that look pretty nice while being simple and understated. The salads came out in chilled bowls, soon after our food arrived. For a few minutes no one spoke.... we were all just enjoying our individual dishes. I would try to impress upon people who have reservations about this place to give it another try. It is a chain..... but it is a much nicer chain now.

Long wait ... they had us waiting right by the kitchen ... we could look in and see all the " chefs" working .... every single entree was microwaved out of a little white carton ..... when we finally were seated the food was ok but if i wanted s microwave dinner i could have got a hot pocket at 7 11 !!!!!

Boo to this popular restaurant that still chooses to NOT take reservations. Today on Mothers Day we had a large party meet with us there at 3:30PM and already the wait was over 2 hours. Tried to call and get a reservation earlier in the week only to be told :"We don't take reservations". Get with it Dead Lobster....people like to make plans and an over 2 hour wait is unreasonable to expect hungry grandmas to wait. You're losing business and not making friends. I have spoken

Tigard's Red Lobster is located off Greenburg Road near the Washington Square shopping center. This location shares a parking area with another popular restaurant (Gustav's.) These two restaurants do a phenomenal business so parking can get rather tight around the buildings. Speaking of business, I've yet to visit this Red Lobster when there wasn't a wait for a table. Red Lobster has waiting chairs that extend clear out the front door. If you've ever visited the Tigard Red Lobster on a Friday or a Saturday night then you'll understand the need for so many chairs. The interior is clean, comfortable, and attractive. There's a fish warehouse theme going on with some 19th century fish market signage. Service is friendly and attentive. The menu is actually quite good. Among the offerings are appetizers, soups, salads, pastas, combinations, and various seafood entrees. Red Lobster has an excellent "Create your own feast" program which allows the diner to customize his or her own seafood combination. Most of the entrees come with at least one side dish. Red Lobster has a multitude of side dishes to choose from. The prices are more than fair. One can easily dine at Red Lobster for under $20. On our visit we sampled "Walt's Favorite Shrimp" and the Salmon Caesar Salad. Walt's Favorite Shrimp was panko breaded butterflied shrimp. We chose red potatoes as our accompaniment. It was a pleasant though not remarkable dish. The Salmon Caesar Salad was a broiled fillet on top of romaine lettuce. The Caesar salad dressing was very creamy. Our salad was nice but totally forgettable. Red Lobster is an interesting restaurant where for many diners (like me) the most memorable part of the meal is the cheddar cheese biscuits. Red Lobster's cheddar biscuits arrive at your table right after your drinks without you even asking. We had to wait five minutes for a table at Red Lobster. That's the maximum amount of time I will wait for food of this quality. If ever there was a three star restaurant then Red Lobster would be it. However, those cheddar biscuits were so delicious!

Growing up in a rural area, Red Lobster was the nicest place to eat. I decided to come here for an impromptu cheap lobster lunch. I ordered the lobster, shrimp, and scallops plate. It came with a salad and two sides. I couldn't eat it all. I had the salad which was a bit bland dressing wise, but not terrible. The broccoli was cooked well. And the baked potato was fine, but that isn't rocket science. The lobster was overcooked, but not too terribly. I know they would rather over cook it then under cook it..... Overall my server was nice and the food was average. Just as I suspected.

I'm sorry, no. This is a chain, but you get a freaking seafood bargain any time you come here. That alone is worth some solid stars. Aight. That's off my chest. Yes, this place is busy but they are also quite efficient. I will not fault a place for being popular - it's always busy. People like it here. Get over it. So, back to the food itself. First off, you get those amazing biscuits that are 80000 calories per bite but just so good. Then a salad of your choice. Also good. Seafood wise, it's shrimp, crab, lobster, steak, pasta, whatever you want. Few entrees are over $35 that I can remember. Where else can you get lobster & crab for under $30? I'll let you think on that one. While you're doing that, recall it's actually well cooked and quite tasty. Simple facts. Adult beverage wise, their beer tap leaves plenty to be desired. Last time we were there it was...Sam Adams. C'mon! Service is fairly typical and food comes out promptly. Like I said, it's a chain but...there's a reason behind their success in this case!

Good food for the price, but I miss the old look before they renovated. Before it was very nautical-themed, and now it's just generic and modern.

For a quick afternoon bite before touring Portland. we stopped off at the Red Lobster adjacent to Washington Square Mall. The food (4 course meal for $29.99) was great and the service was excellent. I have eaten at a number of Red Lobster chain restaurants in the past and this one had the best service that I have ever received hands down. My server was efficient, friendly, hard working, attentive and had many tables that he was working. He provided the best type of service to all his tables that I have ever seen. Very impressive.

I was slightly reluctant to go here because of the so-so reviews, but our experience was very good. My wife and I went here for our 9th anniversary meal (at lunch, but still). Since it was our anniversary meal, and I love chicken fingers, we got a chicken fingers appetizer. They were very hot and quite good. Probably pre-made, but still, they were excellent and obviously very fresh. The biscuits are still great. I can't imagine why anyone would complain about them. Hot and delicious. I really don't like seafood, so I got a bacon burger. It was great. Plenty of fries. Good price. Yes, I'm boring, but I know what I like. My wife ordered the steak and shrimp. The steak had a peppercorn flavor that was excellent. Didn't need any additional sauces or anything. Just fantastic as it was. The shrimp really wasn't very good, but that might have just been due to it not being what she was expecting. I think she was expecting something fried and they were grilled. She didn't finish them and didn't take them with us. My wife also thought that the meal gave you the option of side and would have chosen french fries, but the meal came with broccoli. When she asked about it the waitress politely informed her that it does not normally come with the choice of side, but that she'd be happy to bring her some fries. We declined, since we didn't want to be a bother. To our surprise, she brought a full plate of fries out about 5 minutes later. The only other minor quibble I had was with the salt shaker. Those "grind your own" shakers are fine if they actually grind. I ended up with rather large chunks on my fries. I think they might need to replace those a bit more frequently. The waitress was nice enough, particularly with the extra fries, and checked in regularly enough to make us happy to leave a good tip. It wasn't perfect, but it was still a very positive experience. I would go again.

Oh God. Well, I have been to this location a few times over the years and I have never been really happy with my experience. I keep getting dragged there by friends and family (I won't pay for it) and each time I am bummed. I went on Saturday the 18th and despite the long wait ...1.5 hrs (not my call), we stayed. The Lobster Mashed Potatoes were instant - I would bet my life on it. I am not above instant, but charging 4 bucks is BS. It tastes like Schwanns Delivery Food..seriously...Do not waste your $$....Go across the way to Gustavs or Thirsty Lion...serioulsly

I am giving the service stars, not the food. I have been to this location several times (pre and post renovation) and have never had bad service. The food is alright, I mean Red Lobster is universally known as the "fast food of seafood" so I didn't really expect much there. Our server was amazing! Our food was out quickly and was steaming hot (literally).

I just came from eating there. I was in a group of five. At first it took a while to get a table so we all waited in the bar. I ordered a vodka cran (with cheap Smirnoff and a weak shot) which costed $6. When we were seated there was two waiters and a host who greeted us. That was fine. We all order entries and no appetizers. I got the four course meal for $17. It seems like the best deal on the menu. You get soup, salad, entree and dessert. For soup I order the creamy potato bacon soup. First they came out and gave me clam chowder, then when they returned with the correct soup the potatoes were not cooked. It was crunchy and was similar to the texture of a raw potato. Needless to say I didn't eat it. The waitress asked if I wanted a new one because she thought I had the wrong soup but I said no it's the right soup. I didn't included that it was not cooked. Next I had a Cesar salad. Honestly in my opinion it seems really hard to screw up a Cesar salad. Especially at restaurants because they're usually repackaged, but the one I had contain little amount of iceberg lettuce swimming in Cesar dressing. It was disgusting. Another food item pushed to the side. By this time I'm not feeling confident in the rest of the meal, but stay optimistic. For the entree I ordered the wood baked tilapia. When I got the plate it looked ok. It came with a side of broccoli. The broccoli was steamed with no flavor, which I guess some people like so it didn't bother me too much. The fish was extremely salty. It seems some one may have been sprinkling the fish with salt and got distracted and kept going. Didn't eat it all. Last was the dessert. For dessert I got the brownie with ice cream. They give you one small scoop of ice cream as well as a brownie that looks like it was bought at traders joes and drizzled with caramel and chocolate sauce. The brownie was dried and not good. This is just my opinion but it was disgusting and I'll never go back. And what makes it really sad is that it was there second day bring open since the renovations.

I went in after the renovation newness had passed. Monday night was not crowded. Server was extremely efficient. I've literally never had such quick service. She was also extremely cheerful and courteous. Food was one hit and one miss. My husband didn't really care for the fish and chips. They do have a sweet starter sauce which neither of us like. The parmesan crusted chicken Alfredo was on point for me. Loved it. Biscuits were amazing as usual. We were also give some to take home with our leftovers. We will be checking it out on another Monday night for sure.

My husband always takes me here during lobster fest. It is about the only time we go to Red Lobster. I love lobster. When the commercials start we look at each other and laugh, cuz it's lobster fest. I really enjoy the cheesy biscuits. They are a little salty sometimes. It's Red Lobster, it's a chain. But Lobster fest is amazing and I chow down on the lobster lovers plate. There are plenty of other good places in the area to get seafood, but they don't have Lobster Fest. So go to them on any other day.

Didn't care for the lobster. The other items we had were all excellent. The cheesy biscuits are flakey perfection. Actually a decent drinks selection. A bit pricey even for non-seafood items considering it it a chain- their menu listed some $7.99 lunch specials so I think that that would be the way to go (only available Monday-Friday).

Hadn't been to a Red Lobster in years but received a gift card so went with my wife. The food was barely edible. Had their signature 3 shrimp with shrimp fettuccine, garlic shrimp and Walts special breaded. The "mixed green" salad was iceberg and wilted. The Fettuccine was paste, the garlic shrimp was in a butter bath and Walts breaded was at best edible. This was all for for the price of $17.99 and of course can't leave out the $5.19 ($5.19???) Sam Adams pints. Sheesh! Funny thing was we tried going the previous weekend and it was packed with people waiting outside. Who eats this food? I DON'T.

I don't know what I was expecting. Yes, it is a chain, but I would have thought it would be better, especially at their price point. I mean, at least they have actual lobster right? Tragically, the best part of the menu are the free biscuits. The rest I could excuse, I would have gone 3 stars but -1 for the drinks. I started with something that purported to contain rum and a shot of whiskey, but turned out to be fruit punch. I am quite sure it had very little if any alcohol in it. When I suggested that, after having downed the entire drink within the first 5 minutes and feeling not even the slightest hint of any effect, nor tasting any actual alcohol; to the waitress that the drink was maybe a little on the weak side, she became defensive and almost scolded me! Yes, there was most certainly alcohol in there! She barked. So, okay, well let me try something a little less ambiguous I thought, so, went for the top shelf margarita-blended. When it arrived it was on the rocks. So, she took it back to have it blended. When I got it back, I took a couple of long pulls through a straw and then passed it around the table for everyone else to weigh in. We all agreed, it seemed to be a terrific snow cone. Then, I found all the salt that ended up in the drink because they poured it from the glass, obviously, into the blender then back into the same glass, washing all the salt off he rim into the drink! Blech. I couldn't even finish it. Then, another -1 when we got the check. It had about 15 waters on it in between the actual items ordered. Hahaha, we were explained, that's what we do to each other when we forget to log out of our order on the terminal. It's called "water bombing", isn't that cute? Sorry, not professional at all folks. The customer gets to be bothered by your little inside jokes. What else goes on that can't be seen then? I have nothing against chain restaurants just because they are chains, but in total the experience here makes me never want to go back. I am not going to even comment on the rest of the meal....why bother.

No big fan fare for this place as it is a chain but I always enjoy the sinful foods here ie the cheesy biscuits.. etc. Was good for the evening out and dinner but not quite the place I go out of my way for. Was just a great place to stop into on the way to get my contacts. I enjoyed but probably won't be going back for awhile.

We popped into The Lob at 6pm on Christmas Eve and only had to wait 15 minutes for a two top! The hubs got the Salmon Orleans which comes with an amazing Tabasco pico de gallo sauce and I opted for the lobster bake which came with oysters, shrimp and scallops too. Nothing was overcooked, nothing was undercooked, our server was awesome = success! For a chain, it didn't feel like a chain. It felt like a nice neighborhood seafood place that happens to also exist in 10,000 other cities across America. We will definitely be back on special occasions.

High prices for cold food and an indelible steak. Three of the meals arrived stone cold. If I am paying $150 for a dinner, I expect the restaurant to invest in a plate warmer. A side dish of corn on the cob ordered later was actually frozen. My son's steak was judged inedible by two family members. Nothing I saw justified the $30 per meal prices. I have had better luck at Elmer's, McMenamin's, and Red Robin for much less $$.

This location opened at the beginning of January and while I could see that they were still working on pulling it all together, I saw awesome team work and passion from all the workers. The food was hot and delicious and the new decor was gorgeous. I was skeptical because of all these negative reviews but they had to have been done by people who have NOTHING better to do with their lives than criticize every situation they're involved in. I feel bad for their friends and family. A+ service!

OK - it's Red Lobster - so you pretty much have the good and the bad of a restaurant chain - you know what to expect and they rarely disappoint.... (they rarely surprise either). Having said that, one of the highest energy servers you will meet is Nathan.... Yet never had an empty glass amongst the three of us. We all had a variation of shrimp - we were not disappointed. They have added some new menu choices since the last time we were here - my wife and daughter each had one of those. I went for the never-ending-shrimp but could only muster enough appetite for but a single refill. (There were a LOT of shrimp in the refill!). The food was brought quickly, it was all very hot and fresh and very tasty. The place was packed. I would have liked to be able to "call ahead", but that's not their policy. Our wait was only 10 out of the 20 minutes we were quoted. This is the kind of place we would go to more often if it was close - as it's about 30-40 minutes away from home, we don't go as often. I don't think you'll be disappointed (or surprised) if you choose to go to this Red Lobster. Ask to be seated in Nathan's section if he is there when you visit and you will be impressed with the level of service, humor and experience. Parking isn't easy most evenings - so wear comfortable walking shoes. It's not all negative that your car may end up half a mile from the door - sometimes it's nice to go for a stroll after a meal. (Considering that this is Portland, the fact that we had clear/dry weather in late October is an anomaly that made the walk more pleasant than you would expect this time of year.)

People give them a break .... Ate here this evening and it was great. Yes are things a bit off and taking longer than normal . Again new staff and I expect this for a new restaurant. People are friendly and care . Some people have nothing better to do than bitch about everything wrong in their miserable lives instead of finding the good.

this place way busy lately.. perhaps the endless shrimp deal... the food here is ok.. it's what you can expect from a chain.. the endless shrimp deal is cheap $15.. the shrimp comes prepared in many ways but doesn't taste much better than store bought packaged shrimp. the boston iced tea (cranberry juice + tea)is awesome though.

Well, let me start off by saying, I wouldn't have went here but I did have $50 in gift cards for here or Olive Garden. While neither excite me, I thought I would give this place a try. I've only been there at lunch before, however, it was quite busy and we were there at about 5pm, which is early for us but I thought what the heck. The Lob, as I lovingly refer to, it has various choices of fish, etc. It's been long recommended to go off their fresh board as they have the better choices. I started to but found a combination meal that fit the bill. The food was good but nothing to really write home or Yelp, for that matter about. I was surprised when we were leaving that there was a line to be seated. This is an expansive restaurant and there were plenty of seats, perhaps short on staff? I probably would only go back if there was some deal or gift card again. There was nothing wrong with it. Just not really my thing.

I decided to try this place on their re-opening night 1-13-2014. I was excited as I saw the waiting line---the restuarant was full---everything looked great. We were seated, ordered and then the nightmare began. I ordered an item $27.00 Bay Seafood (or ??) I could smell the fish before it was placed on the table. The only description I can give is it tasted like artifical food...very odd taste and smell. The waiter was the type of guy that should be waiting tables at Circus Circus in Reno...lacking class. We could over hear one of the managers telling another guest they were breaking away from Dardin/Olive Garden and becoming an independant chain. He was saying their reviews have been poor but they intend to change that. Overall---this place is going to have a problem. I felt ill all night---Not a place I would ever go back to

Went for Easter Sunday lunch. Business was steady and there was no wait as we used call-ahead seating. I never give 5 stars because there is always something at issue in any restaurant. The service was very attentive and waitress Meghan made sure we had everything we needed including extra cheddar bay biscuits. The food was excellent and we had a relaxing meal. The only thing I could find to fault was slightly less dressing on the Caesar salad that normal. Peanuts and not enough to hold back that 5th star. Good job, Red Lobster. We will absolutely be back soon.

The key to Red Lobster is to go at lunch time. I have eaten there hundreds of times in my lifetime and since I retired a few years ago I meed my Sister In Law for lunch about once a month. The lunch menu is reasonably priced and the portions are just right. I have tried just about everything on the lunch menu and have not been disappointed yet. They always ask us if we are on a time schedule for lunch which is nice. I have a sensitivity to bagged salads and I can tell you these salads are fresh not out of a bag. The Cheddar Biscuits are wonderful and I generally add on the baby shrimp to my salad, YUM. The baked potatoes are yummy and not too large. Lately I have been stuck on the "Hand Breaded Shrimp". Overall I really enjoy both the ambiance and the food and I don't leave with a fully tummy, I am just right!

Neal....our server was great!!! Me, my bf and his two kids came here for dinner tonight and our server Neal (I think that was name) he was awesome... I am a server myself so I can be a little server picky. He was great from the start!!! My bf really wanted to come here for dinner even though I am allergic to shellfish I agreed to go... My food came out with shrimp on it and Neal noticed before I did and went and had it corrected right away without me having to ask him. I got pasta and steak and when I got it the pasta wasn't the greatest but I don't like to complain. He asked if everything was ok I just said yes... Then his manager came over and he wanted to make sure everything was ok... I said it was good because I really didn't mind. When Neal came to drop our check off he said he noticed that I wasn't really into my food and he knew i didnt want to say anything, so he and the manager gave us a generous discount. I gave 5 stars because even though I went to a lobster restaurant for dinner they were very accommodating to my allergies. My bf and his kids loved their dinner and said it was great! I usually don't add reviews I just look them up, but after the fantastic service from both the server and the manager I thought I should. When we go back I would def ask to sit in his section!

"It's corporate, what do you expect?" I was the last to show in an incomplete party, The hostess could not tell me if there was another person who could have been possibly waiting for me. She had me wait at the hostess stand until her coworker was finished with a phone call. I waited and waited, but still no idea. Finally, the one hostess just sat me at a table. Low-and-behold, after scoping the restaurant myself, I found my party! "Now, was it that difficult?" Isn't there a system in well-established resturants where they have a list of incomplete parties??? COME ON! Server was nice and sweet. Food was good, go lobster fest! Nothing to rave about, but good.

Was visiting the area for a business trip and had dinner there 3 times their opening week. I can tell you that the food was great, fresh and hot. It exceeded my expectations of what you get for what you pay. The real value was in their service, it was awesome. My servers were extremely friendly and you can tell that they enjoyed working there, a true sense of passion for what they do. I would definitely recommend going there for future visits. For all the naysayers, I'd like to see you do better. Hour and a half wait to be seated? Think about it, the wait is long because it's worth it.

After a day of shopping with the ladies, we met the men folk here for dinner. Sadly, they were on men folk time and we ended up waiting 45 minutes for them to arrive (partially due to bad traffic). The women shared an appetizer and the incredibly sinful cheddar garlic biscuits. You know the kind where you tell yourself you are only going to eat 1 and you end up eating 3 or 10. There were 8 of us. We all ordered something different and all were mostly satisfied with a few exceptions. Things on the menu that were supposed to come with mashed potatoes showed up with rice, and vice versa. The food was decent albeit very salty. Our waitress was very nice-and hard working. SO, all in all, A-OK experience at a chain restaurant.

Traffic was terrible trying to get out of town during Friday Rush Hour so we decided to stop and get an early dinner. For once we visited a Red Lobster BEFORE the crowd and long wait at the door. Seated promply we ordered a 20 oz hef and a 14 ounce hef, well we got two 14 oz hefs instead. oh well. We ordered the Ultimate Feast to share (crab legs, lobster tail, scampi and butterfly shrimp, ceasar salad, fries and cheesy biscuits. Our salads came quickly and our server was sweet enough to split it into 2 bowls. When our meal arrived she also brought 2 sets of dishes for us. It was plenty of food for 2. Our server was friendly and attentive.

I don't get it. Why, in Portland Oregon of all places, is Red Lobster (or "The Lob" as my fiancee refers to it affectionately) so gosh darn popular? Do the denizens of this community not understand that they live in a veritable culinary utopia? And yet they still come to The Lob in droves, as if stuck in some podunk (like the town I grew up in) where the only options are national chain restaurants. Folks, there is a reason why Isaiah Thomas made an on-air joke to Jim Rome about how he "just got back from Red Lobster". But there is no reason why, in a town where the New York Times raves about the wonderful cart cuisine, and where inspired/imaginative/colorful/inexpensive food awaits on almost every block, there should be lines out the door of The Lob. Still, I've gotta say I had a surprisingly good dinner there (we had a coupon). I ordered the wood-fire grilled rockfish and it was actually on par with some of the spendier restaurants on the coast. Unsurprisingly (but still pretty cool), the service was quick and very friendly. Not too shabby for eating at The Lob.

For a chain restaurant I cannot complain a bit really. This location is always pretty darned busy - especially for dinner every night of the week because it is pretty centrally located and because it is a decent restaurant. We always get great service with a smile here. A lot of the servers go well above and beyond. I like that they are flexible with the menu too and will gladly do substitutions for a nominal fee.

If you want the best shrimp in town this is the place, and when its all you can eat that is even better....let's get our shrimp on. W only come to Red Lobster once a year, that is when they are having the all you can eat shrimp. I love the cheddar bay biscuits, soup and lobster pizza but you have to be careful not to fill up on those items so you can pig out on shrimp.

A friend suggested we meet here for dinner, so my wife and I went to this Red Lobster location prior to reading the other Yelp reviews. We both enjoyed our dining experience and would definitely go again. We must have picked the right Saturday night to dine here as we didn't have to wait at all. Being Labor Day weekend, the masses must have left town. The restaurant was only a little more than half full. We were greeted very pleasantly by the hostesses and seated promptly. From this point on, Zach, our waiter, managed everything like clock work. Drink orders taken - and promptly served. Dinner orders taken - salads and cheesey biscuts promptly served. Soon after we all finished our salads - our dinners were served. Good job Zach, thank you! On tap beers are a 12oz pour. Top-shelf margarita was enjoyed by all who ordered. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her Maine lobster and steamed broccoli. I left no traces of my Maple Glazed Salmon and Shrimp combo. No room for desserts, but we will definitely go again. Thanks to the other Yelp-ers, we will stay away from the busier nights.

Is it just me, or are the national chain restaurants going down hill --- FAST! The other day we went, and I have to say it was horrid! I ordered the Lobster Fest bake and the scallops were those tiny bay scallops, dried up and tasteless; the mussels were so overcooked that there wasn't anything in the shell to eat. The shrimp were decent, but tasteless. The whole shebang was served on pasta that was clumped together sitting in a pool of grease. It was the worst I'd ever had at this place, and I'm telling you, I probably won't be back unless someone twists my arm. The only good thing was the waiter, and he was very sweet. The national chain restaurants use to have some kind of higher standards - you know, to prove they were just as good as the local restaurants - perhaps better? Well I can tell you, that ain't the case now! Pretty yukky!

I'm a big fan of seafood especially lobster. Although this is a chain restaurant I do like their bottomless cheddar biscuits and their lobster fest specials. I wouldn't rate this place with top quality but it's good enough to satisfy my appetite and leave me satisfied. Nothing more.
Love the new lobster mac n cheese and the lobster and shrimp pasta was also delicious. Other than that, everything was as it always is at Red Lobster...pretty good. High energy server, great biscuits, high prices, and a good time.

Went there with a few friends around 5 it was really slow. We got sat very quickly by the nice hostess. Our server was very sweet, but really slow on tending on us she only had us and one more table in her section. At one point all 4 of our glass were empty for a good period of time. I had to slurp on my straw to make the official "I need a refill" sound. I ordered the steak and lobster and was okay the lobster was a bit chewy. I wanted a med rare and I got a med I didn't anything because I was really hungry. Over all the food was okay the service could have been better I mean they were dead. I would have given em a 3.5 but I can't.

It's a chain, so my expectations are low to begin with. But everytime we've been here I've walked away trying to figure out why it's so popular. Yes I know the cheesy biscuits are wonderful, but if that's all that stands out at an average of $18 - 20 dinners. Wow, that's just plain depressing. The food has always been decent, not gonna knock anyones socks off, but certainly is edible. The service also has been good, as has the consistency of everything. There's always been something wrong with our order, forgotten, added, misplaced. And seeing how busy this place is it doesn't surprise me. Just dissappointing. As previously mentioned the wait tends to be long. It get's compounded though when they're still telling people it will only be a 20 - 30 minutes wait when you've been standing there for 30 minutes, and the line is even longer then when you started, and they just told you it would be another 20 for your table. I know they want to keep the business, but when will they learn people would rather know the truth about how long and be surprised if it's less, rather then standing there like it's a bus stop on a snow day. What else is left to say, my 1st choice is not going to be here, probably not my second, third or fourth either for that matter. I know I'll be back though since we have friends who think this place is da bomb and at least I'll get full after I've been exhausted by the wait.

This place is first class. Nobody does Lobster like Red Lobster. Servers are a hard-working crew; I rate them all as first class also. I rate this restaurant as one of the Portland area's top five restaurants. Consistently good! All five stars!

Ive been coming here for years now and my last visit to the newly renovated RL was a sheer disappointment. Yes the place looks nice, better i should say, thumbs up for that, but the service and food were not worth half a star. I love seafood, in the summer my family always celebrate all our birthdays here and spend well over $400 each visit because we simply love seafood. I guess on Tuesday Jan 21st they must of not had it together. We waited for our food well over 30 minutes, and finally when it was brought out they gave my plate to the table behind us, I was upset because well, I was hungry for one and because now I had to watch my girlfriend eat and start without me while I waited another 20 minutes for my food. Finally when it arrived it was pointless to have gone out to eat together because we certainly didnt do any of that, she was almost done with her food as I started with mine. It wasn't at all the best seafood I've had, actually it was the worst, I never leave left overs, certainly not seafood but this time there was plenty of lobster , shrimp, rice , salad & vegetables left. The lobster was cooked too long and was somewhat chewy, it had this bad fishy taste to it at the end that I've never tasted in lobster and that made it very hard to want to even swallow, the biscuits are usually delicious but that night they tasted a day old and reheated, not fresh at all, my mojito might as well been a virgin, it tasted more like lemonade than an alcoholic drink, the rice pilaf had some rice still uncooked in it and was crunchy. Last but not least the service was unorganized. Like chickens running around with no heads, it took 5 to 6 different waitresses to go back and forth just to get us extra butter, lemon & tabasco. Which we never got all together, they kept taking it to the wrong tables each time. Over all our experience back here after weeks of being closed was unsatisfying in every way. The food, the drinks and service was poor. Honestly I'll personally suggest another restaurant once those summer birthdays come around. Red Lobster? No thank you! :/

It's Red Lobster so what do you expect, right? Well, for one I would like to not have the roof leak on my party. Also, food got sent back twice and in general, it was pretty overpriced. The staff seemed to be about as good as you would hope, but the gear is failing them.

Got in at around 8pm. Took over 5 min to be greeted when there was no one else waiting. No one was up at the front of the restaurant, yet several hostess' were standing towards the middle of the empty seating just chatting. When the salads were served, they were served 2 min or so min before the main course was brought out. No refill offered or provided on coke, and never asked how the food was or if we needed anything. Had to go get the check ourselves and never asked if wanted desert or anything. Worst service I have gotten since I went to sherries and took 25 min just to bring us water! Only at this location though. Other red lobsters seem to have a better track record

I love Shrimp! And their endless shrimp deal was too tempting to pass up. The hubby got kind of sick though; he had the clam chowder and salad. He said it tasted fine so it may have been too rich for him or a little off? He won't return. I totally dug the buttery Cajun shrimp with wild rice. Shrimp, Shrimp, Shrimp! Yes it's a chain but the shrimp was totally worthy it.

This was my first visit to red lobster. I can't say that I would ever come back. The service was good even though my boyfriend and I were seated in a room full of 3 loud parties which made it hard to hear each other after we waited 35minutes for a table. The food was overly greasy and lacking on flavor for both dishes.

The building exterior looks like a building from the Buck Rogers set. However once you are inside you are transported into a nautical wonderland. The girl who took our drink order completely forgot my lemon for my coke, but luckily our server redeemed her by bringing us a whole plate of them. You got lucky this time hostess, next time when you hear lemon you bettah bring it. The garden salad was pretty much a wilted mess, but my grilled chicken breast, shrimp, rice pilaf combo restored my faith in the the power of the red.

We got the Four course dinner they advertise on TV for 15.00 it was perfect. We selected N. E. Clam chowder yumm, Key Lime Shrimp & Chicken, eat it slow don't want to rush this wow. The biscuits were melt in your mouth good. Then I had Key Lime pie with a raspberry sauce Yumm and my Wife had Triple-Chcolate Brownie another yumm so yeah it was worth it, service was worth a tip also. They don't take Reservations so expect to wait we waited 45 min, good thing for smart phones to pass the time :)

I had been craving crab legs all week. So when the opportunity came to go to Red Lobster, I jumped on it. Even though it was a Saturday. Even though it was 7pm, even though there were 6 of us. I don't go there unless the hankering is strong, and I feel the inner fortitude to deal with Beaverton families of 8, high schoolers on dates and/or prom night, and sububurban obesity. But I could deal, so we went. 45 minutes to an hour. Expected. They don't take reservations over the phone. But the bar...we pushed some tables together and our party seated ourselves after 20 minutes. I got a pound and a half of crab legs. Laborious with the leg cracker, and I hit my neighbor with a piece of crab shell, but worth the time needed to excavate the meaty morsels. Everyone was satisfied with either the super fried shrimp/scallop/sole dish, or the combinations of sirloin and seafood. But nothing glorious about any of it. There is little ever glorious about chain "nice" restaurants with somewhat inflated prices and lines out the door. Yet the service was solid, our girl was friendly, funny and accomodating as some of us got slightly smashed on knock off fruity drinks (me). I would suggest going at 5:30 on a weeknight. Or brave the unwashed masses.

(3)Adam D.
Good service, gross food! I ate with a friend for dinner and we both have stomach aches and feel like vomiting. I highly do not recommend
(1)Linda H.
The remodeled restaurant looks much nicer than before. There's usually always at least a 30 minute wait during dinner on weekends here. The food is what you can expect at any Red Lobster. It's the biscuits that keep me coming back.
(3)Steve R.
You can now call in up to 60 minutes before arrival to get your name on the wait list. Can be a bit challenging for larger groups as they have limited seating for more that parties of six.
(4)Ratestuff J.
(3)Xochitl V.
Always a pleasure to come here and I don't even like seafood! The staff is always extremely friend and I love the chicken! The cheddar biscuits are the best!!!
(5)Adam J.
(1)Bill B.
(1)Sue W.
Cheddar biscuits. Stop there and don't eat another thing, cuz nothing else is worth the calories. The service is excellent, however.
(1)O E.
(2)Mark S.

(5)April V.
(1)Sean A.
(4)Pamela Y.
:) enjoy!
(4)Dopey D.
(2)Alison M.
(4)Dave D.
(1)Jesy B.
(4)Jen E.
(4)Gary L.
(2)Elle H.
(1)Scott N.

(3)Matthew A.
(4)Dan V.

(4)Jake J.
(4)Rich J.
perfect and quick service- ANYONE NOTICE its always crowded? great food-lobster was moist -shrimp were great-salmon was good- a very well run operation- better than mccormacks and less money-I wish it wasnt so busy but its AMAZING how well run and efficient the place is- once your seated all is smooth!!!!
(5)V G.
(1)Hannah K.
(3)Bill J.
Returned recently, girlfriend had a gift card. The waitress gave me some cheesy biscuits to take home, which I appreciated. We ate at a table in the bar because the restaurant was packed, but it was a nice table.
(4)J F.
(1)Sarah G.
(5)Sue L.
(4)H M.

(5)Roman S.
this place way busy lately.. perhaps the endless shrimp deal... the food here is ok.. it's what you can expect from a chain.. the endless shrimp deal is cheap $15.. the shrimp comes prepared in many ways but doesn't taste much better than store bought packaged shrimp. the boston iced tea (cranberry juice + tea)is awesome though.

We went for a birthday dinner. The food and service were outstanding. We were a complex group with people showing up late and lots of special orders, they were so understanding. Thank you so much for a great night.

Went for an early dinner on a Sunday and was not disappointed. Hostess was very nice as was our waitress Amy. Food came out hot and fast and tasted excellent. No complaints on this visit.
(4)Mikhail H.
(4)MaryBeth D.
(5)Dave N.

(2)Tet W.
I'm a big fan of seafood especially lobster. Although this is a chain restaurant I do like their bottomless cheddar biscuits and their lobster fest specials. I wouldn't rate this place with top quality but it's good enough to satisfy my appetite and leave me satisfied. Nothing more.
(4)Narongsak D.
Went to dinner on a Wednesday night around 20:00 with my fiancé for endless shrimp. Wasn't too busy to where we had to wait to be seated, took 15m to get our drink ordered while we waiting for water. She found strands of hair in her water glass, 20m for appetizers, 18m later for salad and the bread basket, 7m for our entrees to arrive while we both were enjoying the salads. No prompt service with drink refills, no courteous check-ins to ask for additional items or additional bread basket. 90m after arriving we called it quits, asked for the bill, and 10m later if waiting for the waitstaff to pause in between lolly-gagging we left. Never have I experienced this degree of service from a business that catered to customer service.
(2)Poeko W.
Love the new lobster mac n cheese and the lobster and shrimp pasta was also delicious. Other than that, everything was as it always is at Red Lobster...pretty good. High energy server, great biscuits, high prices, and a good time.
(4)Steven B.
(3)Ray V.
(2)Kenneth N.
This place is first class. Nobody does Lobster like Red Lobster. Servers are a hard-working crew; I rate them all as first class also. I rate this restaurant as one of the Portland area's top five restaurants. Consistently good! All five stars!
(5)A B.
(1)Kip L.
It's Red Lobster so what do you expect, right? Well, for one I would like to not have the roof leak on my party. Also, food got sent back twice and in general, it was pretty overpriced. The staff seemed to be about as good as you would hope, but the gear is failing them.
(2)Akina H.
(1)Tiffany T.
(3)Natalie R.
This was my first visit to red lobster. I can't say that I would ever come back. The service was good even though my boyfriend and I were seated in a room full of 3 loud parties which made it hard to hear each other after we waited 35minutes for a table. The food was overly greasy and lacking on flavor for both dishes.
(2)Hamsterfucker p.
It's better than Applebee's but not as good as the Olive Garden.
(3)Ben F.
As mediocre as you would expect! My little daughter had been mesmorized by the TV commercial and BEGGED to go, so I obliged. Boy did my digestive tract regret me caving in to this request. Small price to pay for getting to hang out with my kid!
(2)Joshua M.
(3)Robin R.
(4)Melissa P.
(4)Da J.
Okay, so I didn't even get to eat at this place because the wait was at least an hour long. But just this: you have customers or bums sitting on your lawn. I know this is 'grungy' Portland and all, but ick.
