Me and my friend stopped here for lunch. They have the best taco I have ever had and super awesome coffee which the owner told us they shipped them from Cuba. Definitely worth to try and come back for it.

Restaurant recently acquired by Costa Rican couple and I can't be more delighted. Excellent food and you've got to try the Café con Leche!! Awesome! Let me recommend el Arroz con Pollo! Magnificent!!

We stop for a snack and ending having a glorious Arroz con Pollo (chicken with rice) delicious mix of grilled chicken and fresh vegetables with a great flavor!! and a crispy fresh salad... just Delicious!! Ask for the Sangria... made by the owner very tasty. Seriously a great place for a good alternative for good food. Next time I will take the picture berofe start eating...

Great find in an unlikely location! I was in town from Seattle on business, and working at a nearby office. This spot was the only spot within walking distance for lunch, and I had low expectations for the middle of a business park. What a pleasant surprise this was! The owner was so friendly, and eager to ensure we were happy with our food choices. I ordered the tacos tico and my business partner ordered a beef & rice & beans option that came with fried plantains. All were well flavored and cooked perfectly, though the flavor of my tacos was improved greatly when I added a combination of the sauces (made in-house!) brought to the table. We finished the meal with complimentary samples of the ceviche that the restaurant has available every other Friday - it was incredibly good as well. The only reason I didn't give this restaurant 5 stars is the ambiance felt a little strange - we were the only people in the restaurant, and the combination cafe feel (they have a full espresso menu, a Costa Rican food menu, and a lunch Panini menu), felt a little muddled. They also have a large selection of wines, which felt slightly out of place for the lunch cafe feel. As the restaurant grows, I assume it will focus in on its true identity. Well worth a trip though, and when next in town I would definitely visit again!

My hubby and I stopped here for lunch last week. A friend told us about it, thank goodness, because I don't think I would have found it otherwise. In fact, the signs pointing to it from the highway 217exit are pretty small, and there is no sign on the door or the building, just a lighted OPEN sign in the window. The restaurant (more of a cafe, really, is located in an office building on the ground floor. This place just opened a few weeks ago, so there isn't much to the décor, but I have to say that I was blown away by the excellent quality of the food. I had the daily special, Churasco, which was a delicious steak sandwich, cooked fresh as we ordered and accompanied by a side salad and scrumptious dipping sauce. I think they even baked the ciabatta bread from scratch; they have amazing house-baked goods, including alfajores (dulce de leche cookies) and other desserts. They have an espresso machine, too. My latte was very good. They also serve empanadas. The owners are Chilean, so the entrees have a South American slant. Nothing we tasted was spicy at all, but they asked if we wanted hot sauce to add to the dipping sauces. Give this place a try, and let them surprise you with something delicious that you never would have thought to order. My bet is that you will go back for more. Los Andes is open for lunch and early dinner for sure, and also have weekend hours. I know I will go back anytime I am in Tigard at a meal time. That sandwich was crazy good.

I stumbled on this place and am so glad I did. Great homemade food, and relaxed friendly atmosphere. Ask about the daily specials (not listed on the board). The owners made me feel as if I was at their home for dinner.

Stopped for lunch. Very good for something different. Very pleasant hostess and reasonably priced, especially for what you get. Would certainly recommend it to anyone.

I had the churrasco as well - requested no tomatoes, and they offered to add extra avocado instead. The sandwich was really good. I assume it was an owner who served me - she was one of the nicest people waiting on me I've come across in a long while.
