I used to come here when it was Dr. Feelgoods to drink and yell, those days are long past, thank goodness. I had checked it out when the new owners opened in 2011, the place looked great, very nice people, horrible food. I moved to Beaverton, so I am rarely in the area anymore and was visiting an old friend last week and she suggested that we go to "BMBG" for lunch. Upon arrival I realized this was the place I had been years ago. I was hesitant, she assured me that the food was great and a new chef had really changed things. WOW. Was she right. The place looked exactly the same! The food however was WAY different. Probably one of the best bleu burgers I have had...EVER! I tried the new lattice chips with cilantro bleu cheese, incredible. My friend had the cubano with pesto fries. Kind of blown away. Found my new NFL spot! Also, Great tap selection, I had the Boneyard RPM, yum! Stop here and eat, you won't regret it.

Great number of rotating micro beers on tap including local. Service is friendly. The atmosphere is a bit blah. It's a bit of a dive bar, but oddly too light and bright, yet cold and sparse. Some comfortable chairs, paint and new decor would help warm it up. It is very clean, which is a plus! All that would easily be overlooked if the food prices matched the quality. Don't get me wrong, the food is pretty good as far as pubs-bars go, but it is substantially over priced. Breakfast, comes with hash browns which are never "browned" (on 4 occasions) and NO toast. $14 for average chicken fried steak, 2 eggs and the undercooked hash potatoes is a complete rip off when compared to other bars doing the same meal for $10-11 which includes toast. Burgers, entrees, salads, appetizers, we've tried them all and they were good, but $2-3 per item over other bars for the same meal. Will I go back? If in the area, yes ....but not going out of my way.

Now keep in mind, this is a relatively new business that is probably still working out a few kinks and building their clientele. With that said, I feel I've been there enough within their past couple months of being open to give a solid review. The owner plays a big role both behind the bar, in the kitchen and mingling with the bar patrons. The food menu is still relatively small but the owner said he intends on building it up over time. The beer selection is pretty decent with about 10 beers on tap. They don't appear to have a huge liquor selection, but they have most of the big-name liquors. The pours are nice and heavy and the drinks are CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP. Sometimes they provide a bowl of pretzels at the bar and if there's not one in front of you, you can request one from the bartender. The staff, as well as the owner, are very attentive and helpful. The bar and facilities are clean and well kept. The bar has several flat screen tv's, a foosball table and a dart board. Since the bar is pretty new, there's always seating available either at the bar or at one of the tables. Parking is easy and ample. There have been no huge red flags when I've been there. So if you're looking for a decent place to have a drink and chill, you'll be safe with Bull Mountain B&G.

Awesome customer service! The team goes over and beyond to make sure you are happy! Bonus, you can bring your children into the restaurant section and still have a couple of drinks. Plus it's right down the street from our home! We need as a community to support our local businesses. This helps increase property value and promotes their business as well.

The service has been prompt and friendly. I took my kids in to play pool as very few sports bars allow minors. We ate some grub and the staff was on top of everything. Considering my general appearance not being over 40 and I work for a living unlike so many in the area. I really enjoyed being treated like a customer they want to keep.

I grew up in Tigard Abd have been going to this bar for years when it was all different places. The owners are very nice and the food is great. I get the buffalo chicken sandwich and it is one of the best I have had.

Awesome place and staff that also happens to have great beer selection and good food.

Good neighborhood sports bar! Pub burger, prime rib dip, Sunday breakfast & flat iron steak salad are my favs!

I just came in here for some food and beers today. There were two other patrons sitting at the bar, nobody behind the bar. I sat down and looked around for a menu, none in sight. I saw a guy working in the kitchen but he had his back turned and didn't see me. I figured eventually someone would come out and notice me sitting at the bar. Eventually a second guy came out from the kitchen after a few minutes but didn't acknowledge me at all. He started filling ketchup bottles and going about his business as I continued to sit there. Then the phone rang, he answers it, then has a personal conversation for about 3 minutes whilst I'm still sitting there staring at the wall. After 7 minutes (I counted) of sitting at the bar with no acknowledgement at all I just stood up and left. How is this place in business!? The reviews they got aren't all bad, that's why I stopped in to check it out. I've never walked into a place and walked out after sitting down because of lack of attention. This is a first! I took my business down the street where I'm currently drinking a beer, enjoying some music, watching tv, and writing this review. Funny how that works.

This place has always had good service, and like another reviewer stated there are very few sports bar-type options in the area where minors are allowed. And even at a place like Blitz, kids can eat there but the games are off-limits. At least here I can teach my 8 year old to play pool. The service is good- I haven't been there in a while but we popped in Sunday for a burger and beer. The bartender took good care of us. I'd give the place a 4 star rating if the food had been even marginally better. I feel like when this place first opened the grub was better- I don't know, it just wasn't very impressive this go round. So, overall a fine place to watch the game, throw back a few beers or play pool, but the food quality could be stepped up a bit.

I live on bull mountain. When I moved to Tigard, I scouted a bit to what was good. This place us my own kind of Cheers. I can go here after work, and the food and service is always great, or I can go on a Saturday night at like 10 with a big group, and still have a great experience. Chef Jay makes great food. Curtis and Tammy are the bartenders that treat you like your good people. But they know their stuff too- from a bloody Mary in the afternoon, to a capt n coke at night, its always mixed well, and the right portion, and they both have their own way of talking to you like a real person. The owner comes in frequently, and I love that, cause he cares about his business. Its clean, fun, good food, good service, and a good mix of ages, regulars, and newbies. My fav in Tigard. Don't miss the weekend brunch- its on point for flavor and price

Took a couple of visits to warm up to this place. After realizing I am not going to be aggressively hit on by visiting here solo I let my guard down and had a chance to meet the regulars. All very friendly people and Mark who manages the bar is very engaged with all his customers that walk in. The rest of the staff is just as awesome with customer service. The food is pretty decent and they always look for improvements to add to their menu. The ambiance here is chill and relaxed. My first and favorite choice of bars to decompress at after a very long day at work. Cheers!

The only place in town that I have found Firestone Walker on tap! Absolutely a wonderful beer. Great place, friendly staff. Mark the owner is great. Seems to be there every other time I stop in. Great bar area but is family friendly. I bring my 3 year old daughter in there to get food with me. The menu will expand eventually but has good pub food. While there is not a section for kids, they are able to come in and sit with you at the tables. Great TV selection for watching sports or whatever is on. Games in the back part for playing around. Great Honey pulled pork special sandwich. Bull Burger is good too. My daughter likes the kids chicken strips.

My partner and I were out riding our motorcycles and decided to stop in and see what's up at this new restaurant in our town of Tigard, where there isn't too much of a restaurant selection. We are always hopeful when a new restaurant opens! It is quite obvious that Bull Mountain Bar & Grill is a sports bar with all the tvs, beer, lack of ambiance, wood tones, carpet, and scattered sports banners given to them by the Budweiser rep. We sat at the bar, with an open mind. The crowd is upper-middle class Baby Boomers...lots of Chardonnay was flowing! A great crowd of people! This is what was puzzling to me...after my meal, I decided that there is just NO other place for these people to gather...the other sports bars in Tigard are further into Tigard; Bull Mountain is very near its' namesake. We were greeted virtually immediately but did not get our water until about 10 minutes later...our meal was served about 30 minutes after we arrived! There was no music playing nor was the volume up on any of the tvs! So we were all dining with only the sound of people talking. People seemed to be having a good time and a lot of people knew each other...that was nice to see. The food, and I am being kind, was horrible. I had the turkey burger. It arrived cold--the "melted" cheese had re-hardened, the burger had NO mustard or sauce on it, nor was I offered any type of spread to enhance the meat! The shredded lettuce kept falling OUT of the bun...it was a boring meal. Typically sports bars are known for their delicious ham/chicken burgers...but this one was so dry, cold, boring, I wanted to cry. The staff were extremely disorganized and seemed to have NO system of connecting the tab to the customer, when it came time to pay! There was not a designated bar tender...everyone on their staff was making drinks and bussing tables, taking orders, and then serving up the cold food! To me, it felt like a frat party! The quality of the drinks and food were below average. I love sports bars...Helvetia Tavern, Max's Fanno Creek Brew Pub, Stanich's, etc...but Bull Mountain Bar and Grill is one I will never return to. Sorry, but you have been in business long enough now (at least 4 months) to have it running smoothly and more professionally!

We LOVE Bull Mountain Bar & Grill! Mark, the owner is super friendly and knows us by name. We can take our kids in with us (during posted hours, of course), have a beer or cocktail, and watch football and eat lunch/dinner. There is a good selection of beer on tap, and the food is pretty delish too. See you soon Mark and company!

I suppose if you count Buck Hunter, Pinball and Golden Tee as a star each you could go 3. It's clean, large, airy. Ok that's all the positives I have. The fact that it is on a pretty dismal section of 99 and in a center with a bunch of Automotive places really says it all. Nothing further to report.

We're one of those annoying Portland-area couples who insist on taking their kids everywhere. I mean, everywhere. We also love good beer and are picky foodies, so while we like trying pretty much every new place under the sun, there are only a few spots we regularly visit, especially living in outer SW Portland as we have for the past few years. Recently we were thrilled to learn about Bull Mountain Bar & Grill, which opened at the start of this year and is located off 99W in Tigard. The place is a decent size, with large flat screen TVs adorning two walls, a decent beer list, GREAT service, and what I think is a fantastic food menu. When I go to a bar & grill, I want good pub food, not an itty bitty salad for $12, thanksmuch. Don't get me wrong, I love itty bitty salads, but I'd rather make them at home or get those when I'm drinking wine or cocktails. With solid beer, I want solid food, and everything we ordered here was delicious. My husband ordered the Cowboy Quesadilla, which was awesome. The quesadilla consisted of chicken, bacon, onion rings (oh yeah), jalapenos, cheese, (did I mention bacon?!) served with tasty salsa. YUM. I ordered the fish & chips and was super happy with the HUGE three filets I was served, along with fries, tartar sauce and shredded lettuce. I was happy that this place had a dedicated kids menu. We got the kids chicken tenders, but they also offer grilled cheese, cheeseburgers, cheese quesadillas and other kid versions of pub food. The owner was super friendly. Can't say enough nice things about him. Sometimes even in supposedly kid-friendly places, the management or staff don't know how to work with kids around, and in this place we totally felt comfortable with the kids. He made our kids feel welcome, which made me smile. Kids are welcome before 9pm, so after that I can see this place being a fun bar to hang out with friends when we can get a sitter. We'll definitely be back here!

First, I'm a fan because this place has agreed to play michigan state football and basketball games for us when we come in. The owner greeted us at the table, and was super friendly. The menu was above average bar food. Happy hour is 3-7 everyday, to include a HH menu of cheaper bites. The atmosphere is nice. Lots of windows. And a nice terrier hangs out too. overall a great place to hang out.

My husband and I we were lookingr to trying this place as Tigard is a little weak in the restaurant biz.. needless to say, we were Very disappointed. The place is huge. Lots of seating. We chose to sit up at the bar. There were only two employees in the whole place and it was a Friday at 6! I even think one would run back and cook the food. Due to the lack of help, service was VERY slow and the food was awful. We would NOT recommend this place if you are hungry or in any kind of a hurry. Cold beer was the only plus. Sorry guys!!

Love this place. Mostly for the sweet ladies and gent who work behind the bar.

We've been going to Bull Mountain Bar & Grill since it opened. At first, we were afraid it wasn't going to make it. Not because of the beer selection or food, just not many people were going. Over the past 6 months or so, business has definitely picked up. Also, there food is really pretty good. It's not the normal fried bar food - the shrimp yakisoba is good, their soups are usually great, the fish tacos are very good. It's also very kid friendly during the day....our girls love going.

Well I got sucked into going back here this time I passed on the food but sat there for a good five minutes before the owner could pull himself away from his conversation to take my order with four people in the place I find this unforgivable! ! With the Pearl districts Blitz sports bar empire opening in Tigard, O'Briens, The rialto sports bar next door cinetopia the huge high end movie theater with sport themed events and Big Als bowling ally and sports bar both opening up on bull mountain Fanno creek brew pub ect....about ten sports themed bars with minutes of it you would think theyd be doing cartwheels when somebody walks in but no its more important to talk to your cronies .I regret giving one star last time because I can't take anymore away. Will not be back!!!! And don't see this place here very long either
